Zelensky’s Poll Numbers Down Over 20 Points Amid Suspended Elections, Battlefield Failures.

Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky has sunk in the polls, falling from 84 percent approval at the end of 2022 to 62 percent approval at the end of 2023.

While still high overall, the Ukrainian leader’s approval rating in the Kyiv International Institute for Sociology (KMIS) surveys may be artificially inflated, with respondents paranoid about possible reprisals. Zelensky has banned most of his political opposition, and purged critics in the media, accusing them of sympathizing with Russia.

That his rating has still dropped by 22 points suggests he is finding it increasingly difficult to contain discontent over the war, after last year’s Western-backed counter-offensive failed with heavy losses. Eighteen percent of respondents openly reported that they do not trust Zelensky — up from just five percent in 2022.

Meanwhile, General Valery Zaluzhny, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), had the trust of 88 percent of respondents, with the AFU at large on 96 percent.

This could spell trouble for Zelensky, as he has long been rumored to be at odds with the general. Zelensky fumed over the military leader’s admission that the war was a “stalemate” last year and has reportedly been attempting to undermine his authority on the battlefield.

This Bill Would Deport Green Card Migrants for Drunk Driving.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: The Protect Our Communities from DUIs Act seeks to amend the Immigration and Nationality Act to make noncitizens convicted of or admitting to driving under the influence offenses deportable.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: The bill was introduced by Representative Barry Moore (R-AL) and has Senate sponsorship from Senator Bill Hagerty (R-TN), with support from multiple Republican senators.

📍WHEN & WHERE: Initially introduced in January, the bill passed the House in June and is now under Senate consideration.

💬KEY QUOTE: “A DUI could get green card holders deported, even from ten years ago! If it becomes law, anyone who is not a U.S. citizen—be they green card holders, international students, or H-1B workers—could become inadmissible [for citizenship] and deportable for having a DUI on record,” complained immigration attorney Joseph Tsang.

🎯IMPACT: The bill could affect green card holders, foreign students, and visa holders with past DUI records, potentially making them inadmissible for citizenship and deportable.

IN FULL

The Protect Our Communities from DUIs Act could revise the Immigration and Nationality Act to classify noncitizens, regardless of immigration status, as potentially deportable if they are convicted of or admit to driving under the influence (DUI)-related offenses. This provision would apply to illegal immigrants, lawful permanent residents, and green card holders.

Initially introduced in the House in January by Representative Barry Moore (R-AL) as H.R.6976, the legislation now awaits consideration in the Senate after passing the House in June. Senator Bill Hagerty (R-TN) introduced a companion version in the Senate, with backing from several Republican senators, including Marsha Blackburn (R-TN), Katie Britt (R-AL), and Tom Cotton (R-AR). Its sponsors frame the bill as a public safety initiative to deter DUI offenses among noncitizens and enhance immigration enforcement.

Supporters argue the measure strengthens the standards of moral character required for U.S. citizenship. Immigration advocates disagree, with immigration attorney Joseph Tsang complaining, “A DUI could get green card holders deported, even from ten years ago! If it becomes law, anyone who is not a U.S. citizen—be they green card holders, international students, or H-1B workers—could become inadmissible and deportable for having a DUI on record.”

The proposed law would broaden the grounds for inadmissibility to include not only convictions but also admissions to DUI-related conduct. Additionally, it would apply regardless of whether the DUI is considered a misdemeanor or felony under state, federal, or local laws.

The legislation has received support from the White House Office of Management and Budget (OMB), which cited U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) data showing more than 43,000 noncitizens were arrested on DUI charges between 2018 and 2023.

The new act comes amid a case of an Indian truck driver who killed three people in Florida this month when trying to make a U-turn on a busy highway. It was later revealed that the Indian was allowed to remain in the United States by the former Biden regime and was granted a commercial driving license by Governor Gavin Newsom‘s California government despite being an illegal alien.

Ghislaine Maxwell Was Honored at Clinton Event Despite Abuse Reports.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: Ghislaine Maxwell was honored at the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) conference in 2013, despite accusations of sexual abuse against her surfacing years earlier.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Ghislaine Maxwell, Bill and Hillary Clinton, Chelsea Clinton, and Clinton aide Doug Band.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The 2013 Clinton Global Initiative conference, four years after sexual abuse claims against Maxwell became public.

🎯IMPACT: The report raises further questions about the Clintons’ ties to Maxwell.

IN FULL

Ghislaine Maxwell, who is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence for sex trafficking, was honored in 2013 at the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) conference for her work in ocean conservation, despite sexual abuse allegations against her already being public at the time. Maxwell received a complimentary invitation to the event, which reportedly required approval from either Bill or Hillary Clinton. This occurred four years after Virginia Roberts Giuffre publicly accused Maxwell of recruiting and grooming her for abuse by Jeffrey Epstein. Maxwell had also been subpoenaed in 2009 as she left a previous CGI event, and attended Chelsea Clinton’s 2010 wedding.

A Clinton spokesman said that Maxwell’s invitation was one of over 600 complimentary tickets approved at the staff level for that year’s CGI. “As we have consistently said, the Clintons know nothing about Jeffrey Epstein’s terrible crimes,” the spokesman claimed. Despite this, internal communications reveal that longtime Clinton aide Doug Band had previously directed staff to bar Maxwell from all Clinton-related events, suggesting personal intervention by the Clintons to honor her in 2013.

Band also said that Chelsea Clinton maintained a relationship with Maxwell because of her “access to yachts and homes.”

Maxwell has long defended Bill Clinton’s ties to Epstein, claiming his travel on Epstein’s private plane was related to humanitarian work. Flight logs show Clinton flew with Epstein 26 times, but Maxwell described it as “one journey.” She also denied that Clinton ever received massages during those trips.

Earlier this month, the Department of Justice released transcripts and audio recordings from a two-day interview with Maxwell, conducted under limited immunity. Following the interview, she was transferred to a minimum-security facility in Texas. During the sessions, Maxwell addressed her interactions with President Donald J. Trump, stating, “I never witnessed the President in any inappropriate setting in any way. The President was never inappropriate with anybody. In the times that I was with him, he was a gentleman in all respects.”

She said Trump and Epstein were “friendly, like people are in social settings,” adding, “I don’t think they were close friends.”

Obama Judge Blocks Trump’s Effort to Defund Sanctuary Cities.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: A far-left federal judge appointed by Barack Obama blocked President Donald J. Trump’s efforts to cut funding to sanctuary cities.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: U.S. District Judge William Orrick, President Trump, and numerous sanctuary jurisdictions.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The ruling was issued Friday, impacting over 30 cities, including Los Angeles, Baltimore, and Chicago.

🎯IMPACT: Sanctuary jurisdictions remain protected from losing federal funds, but the Trump administration is expected to appeal the decision.

IN FULL

A far-left San Francisco judge, appointed to the bench by former President Barack Obama, ruled on Friday that the Trump administration cannot cut federal funding from dozens of cities and counties that have been designated as “sanctuaries” for illegal immigrants. Judge William Orrick—in the U.S. District Court Northern District of California—extended a preliminary injunction blocking the administration from withholding federal money or placing specific immigration-related conditions on grant programs.

The ruling protects more than 30 sanctuary jurisdictions, including major cities such as Los Angeles, Baltimore, Boston, and Chicago. Orrick also blocked the administration from placing similar immigration-related conditions on two grant programs. According to Orrick, Trump’s actions to withhold funding from these jurisdictions constitute unconstitutional coercion.

In January, Trump signed an Executive Order titled “Protecting the American People Against Invasion,” which cut off federal funding to sanctuary jurisdictions. The order directed the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to ensure that these jurisdictions do not receive federal money and to pursue lawful actions against jurisdictions that interfere with federal law enforcement.

Judge Orrick, in his order expanding the number of cities protected by the injunction, acknowledges his underlying ruling is currently under appeal. Additionally, some legal scholars suggest the injunction—due to its application outside the U.S. District Court Northern District of California—violates a recent Supreme Court ruling limiting injunctions to their originating jurisdiction and only allowing for broader orders in the case of class action lawsuits.

Notably, Orrick issued a similar ruling on defunding sanctuary cities during Trump’s first term.

Meanwhile, the Trump administration has also taken legal action against cities with sanctuary policies. In June, the DOJ sued Los Angeles, claiming its policies barring city resources from aiding immigration enforcement violated federal law. A month later, the DOJ filed a similar suit against New York City.

DeSantis Erases Rainbow Crosswalk After Trump Directive.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) ordered the removal of a rainbow-colored crosswalk in Orlando, citing compliance with federal traffic regulations.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Gov. Ron DeSantis, Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy, Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer (D), and State Senator Carlos Guillermo Smith (D).

📍WHEN & WHERE: The federal directive was issued on July 1, and the crosswalk removal took place in Orlando, Florida, last week.

💬KEY QUOTE: “We will not allow our state roads to be commandeered for political purposes.” – Ron DeSantis

🎯IMPACT: The decision sparked criticism from local Democrat officials and far-left activists, while gaining support from many Floridians.

IN FULL

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) has ordered the removal of a rainbow-colored crosswalk in Orlando, in compliance with new federal regulations. On July 1, 2025, U.S. Department of Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy announced new federal standards requiring “consistent and recognizable traffic control devices, including crosswalk and intersection markings, and orderly use of the right‑of‑way that is kept free from distractions.” All state governors were ordered to ensure compliance with the public safety regulations.

The move by DeSantis has enraged far-left activists and Florida Democrats, who claim the removal of the rainbow-colored crosswalk is an attack on gay rights. Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer (D) called the removal “callous” and “a cruel political act,” adding, “This crosswalk not only enhanced safety and visibility for the large number of pedestrians visiting the memorial, it also served as a visual reminder of Orlando’s commitment to honor the 49 lives taken,” referring to the victims of a jihadist mass shooting at Pulse nightclub in 2016.

Meanwhile, State Senator Carlos Guillermo Smith (D) argued, “They did this in the middle of the night because they were scared of the resistance, because they know what they did was wrong.”

Despite the histrionic Democrat complaints, the state transportation agency has been notifying cities around Florida that they must remove rainbow-colored crosswalks and intersections or face the withholding of transportation funds.

Gov. DeSantis defended his decision, stating, “We will not allow our state roads to be commandeered for political purposes.” Some activists later rechalked the rainbow colors onto the crosswalk as a form of protest.

Is Trump DOUBLING the Number of Chinese Student Visas?!

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: President Donald J. Trump appeared to reverse course on his administration’s emphasis on increased scrutiny of Chinese students seeking to study in the United States, saying he would bring over 600,000 of them.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: President Donald J. Trump and 600,000 Chinese students.

📍WHEN & WHERE: Comments made in the Oval Office on Monday, August 25, 2025.

💬KEY QUOTE: “We’re gonna allow it. It’s very important. 600,000 students. It’s very important.” — President Trump

🎯IMPACT: If implemented, the new student visa level would be more than double the number of Chinese nationals that were allowed to study in the United States during the 2023/2024 academic year, which stood at an estimated 277,398.

IN FULL

President Donald J. Trump appeared to reverse course on his administration’s emphasis on increased scrutiny of Chinese students seeking to study in the United States on Monday. Speaking with the press in the Oval Office—along with South Korean President Lee Jae Myung—Trump suggested the federal government will grant visas to 600,000 Chinese students. This would more than double the number of Chinese nationals that were allowed to study in the United States during the 2023/2024 academic year, which stood at an estimated 277,398.

“It’s a very important relationship; we’re going to get along good with China. I hear so many stories about [how] we’re not gonna allow their students. No, we’re gonna allow their students to come in,” President Trump said, to the bewilderment of many of his MAGA supporters.

He added: “We’re gonna allow it. It’s very important. 600,000 students. It’s very important.”

In late May, Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced that the State Department would begin revoking visas for Chinese students studying at American universities. Almost immediately after the policy was announced, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) Ministry of Foreign Affairs declared the decision was “discriminatory.”

In a video statement posted to X (formerly Twitter), Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokeswoman Mao Ning dismissed the mounting national security concerns posed by Chinese nationals at U.S. academic institutions, who have been tied to espionage and subversive activities in a number of cases.

Compounding the confusion around President Trump’s statement that the United States will now double the number of student visas held by Chinese nationals is the recent announcement that the administration will be undertaking a review of all 55 million visas held by foreigners, both inside and outside the country.

In addition, Secretary of State Rubio revealed that the State Department has revoked an estimated 6,000 student visas as of August 18.

Katie Couric Gets Humiliated After Bizarre Attack on Kennedy Center Staff.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: Journalist Katie Couric drew backlash after attacking the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, where President Donald J. Trump has assumed control as chairman and restructured leadership and programming in collaboration with Richard “Ric” Grenell, as a “disgrace” on social media. Bizarrely, the 68-year-old focused her ire on an Instagram post shared by the Kennedy Center featuring several smiling young staffers.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Katie Couric, President Trump, Kennedy Center President and Executive Director Ric Grenell, and The National Pulse Editor-in-Chief Raheem Kassam.

📍WHEN & WHERE: August 2025, Washington, D.C., at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.

💬KEY QUOTE: “We didn’t cancel a single show. Your team couldn’t perform for Republicans. They cancelled. It is this exact intolerance that we fight against. Everyone is welcome to the Kennedy Center… Even you!” – Ric Grenell

🎯IMPACT: Trump’s restructuring has sparked controversy, with legislation proposed to rename parts of the Kennedy Center in his honor.

IN FULL

Journalist Katie Couric has attacked the Kennedy Center, where President Donald J. Trump has assumed control as chairman, as a “disgrace” on social media. Couric, 68, focused her bizarre outburst on an Instagram post featuring smiling young staffers at the Kennedy Center’s “Opera in the Outfield” event, saying, “This is so sad. I grew up going to the Kennedy Center… What they’ve done to it is a disgrace.”

Richard “Ric” Grenell, acting president and executive director of the Kennedy Center, responded directly: “We didn’t cancel a single show. Your team couldn’t perform for Republicans. They cancelled. It is this exact intolerance that we fight against.” He added, “Everyone is welcome to the Kennedy Center… even you!”

The National Pulse Editor-in-Chief Raheem Kassam, who attended the “Opera in the Outfield” event, also responded to Couric, saying, “It’s a disgrace that you’re trying to hurt this institution now, simply because you have different political ideas from the people running it. It reveals your wafer-thin concern for the arts, and your petulance and disdain for the will of the people.”

Notably, the Kennedy Center had been struggling under the Biden government, which Trump attributed to infiltration by “woke” ideologues pushing ideological programming. Under the leadership of the America First leader and Grenell, it has put on many highly successful events, with Trump promising major renovations to bring it “back to the absolute TOP LEVEL of luxury, glamour, and entertainment.”

Congressional allies of Trump have introduced legislation to rename parts of the Kennedy Center. One proposal seeks to name the Opera House after First Lady Melania Trump, while another, the “Make Entertainment Great Again Act,” aims to rename the entire venue as the “Donald J. Trump Center for Performing Arts.”

Snoop Dogg Slams LGBTQ Propaganda in Children’s Movies.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: Snoop Dogg expressed unease about taking his grandson to the movies after seeing homosexuality in Disney’s 2022 animated film Lightyear.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Snoop Dogg, his grandson, and Disney.

📍WHEN & WHERE: Snoop’s comments were made during the It’s Giving podcast in August 2025.

💬KEY QUOTE: “What you see is what you see, and they’re putting it everywhere.” – Snoop Dogg

🎯IMPACT: Snoop’s remarks have drawn criticism from liberals, with some lobbying for him to be dropped from upcoming performances.

IN FULL

Snoop Dogg has shared his discomfort about taking his grandson to the movies after being “blindsided” by homosexuality in Disney‘s animated film Lightyear. Speaking on the It’s Giving podcast, the rapper recalled how the 2022 Pixar spinoff left him struggling to answer his grandson’s questions about the female character Alisha Hawthorne, who is depicted as having a wife and a child who is their biological offspring.

“What you see is what you see, and they’re putting it everywhere,” Snoop stated. He described his grandson’s confusion during the movie, asking, “Papa Snoop? How she have a baby with a woman? She’s a woman!” The rapper admitted he was caught off guard, saying, “I didn’t come in for this s**t. I just came to watch the goddamn movie.”

Snoop expressed concerns about introducing LGBTQ+ relationships to young audiences, saying, “These are kids. We have to show that at this age? They’re going to ask questions. I don’t have the answer.” The film, which features Alisha Hawthorne marrying her partner and raising a child, includes Disney’s first same-sex kiss, a scene that was initially cut but later reinstated after production employee backlash.

The rapper’s remarks have sparked criticism from liberals online, with one writing, “Being afraid of gay parents in movies is crazy.” Liberal lobbying for Snoop to be removed from his scheduled performance at the Australian Football League’s Grand Final has also emerged.

Despite his near-universal celebrity status, Snoop Dogg has a history of skepticism and opposition to the radical LGBTQ+ agenda, especially concerning transgenderism. The grandfather of eight has previously faced backlash for referring to Bruce Jenner—who now calls himself Caitlyn—as a “science project.”

Notably, in recent months, a number of countries have begun reconsidering invasive hormone replacement and gender reassignment surgery and procedure access for minors. President Donald J. Trump has moved aggressively against such practices in the United States.

140 Arrests on Day One of London’s Annual Afro-Caribbean Carnival.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: London’s Metropolitan Police made at least 140 arrests on the first day of the annual Notting Hill Carnival, for crimes including assaults on officers, sexual offences, drug dealing, robbery, and possession of weapons.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Metropolitan Police officers, Carnival attendees, and people on criminal watch lists.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The arrests occurred on Sunday during the Notting Hill Carnival’s “family day” in London, England.

💬KEY QUOTE: The family of Cher Maximen, murdered at last year’s Carnival violence in front of her young daughter, described it as an “unimaginable event” and suggested it should be moved to a park.

🎯IMPACT: Arrests were up by 40 percent compared to last year’s first day, despite pre-emptive measures and the use of facial recognition technology.

IN FULL

London’s Metropolitan Police reported 140 arrests on the first day of the Notting Hill Carnival, held on Sunday. The arrests involved offenses such as assaults on police officers, sexual crimes, drug dealing, robbery, and weapon possession. Arrests are up 40 percent compared to the 104 arrests recorded on the first day of the previous year’s Carnival, despite preemptive arrests, the use of facial recognition technology, and other measures designed to tamp down lawlessness.

The Notting Hill Carnival, a multi-day street festival celebrating Afro-Caribbean culture since 1966, draws approximately one million visitors each year. However, it has faced growing scrutiny due to its endemic violence. Calls to relocate or cancel the event have intensified following incidents like the murders of chef Mussie Imnetu and mother Cher Maximen at last year’s Carnival.

Police data from Sunday detailed 15 arrests for assaults on officers, including one officer hospitalized, 21 for possessing offensive weapons, 25 for cannabis possession, 19 for intent to supply drugs, and four for sexual offenses. While police leaders often defend the Carnival festival, the Met’s rank and file members are known to despise it, with the police union-like Metropolitan Police Federation long calling for its cancellation.

In a proactive move, the Metropolitan Police arrested over 100 high-risk individuals before the Carnival started this year. Additionally, 21 people were recalled to prison, and 266 others were barred from attending through bail or probation orders.

The family of Cher Maximen, fatally stabbed in front of her daughter at last year’s Carnival, proposed moving the event to a park to curb violence.

Englishman Arrested for Patriotic Painting Spree, Shouting at a Muslim.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: Police in Essex, England, arrested a man on suspicion of a racially aggravated public order offence and conspiracy to commit criminal damage after a video showed people painting St. George’s crosses on a building and shouting at a Muslim woman.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: A 33-year-old man from Basildon, Essex Police, and a Muslim woman.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The incident occurred in Basildon, Essex, and came to public attention after a video circulated online.

💬KEY QUOTE: “I’m an Englishman, I’ll do it till I die, sweetheart!” – Unidentified man

🎯IMPACT: The arrest highlights Britain’s strict speech restrictions.

IN FULL

Police in Essex, England, have confirmed the arrest of a 33-year-old man from Basildon on suspicion of a racially aggravated public order offence and conspiracy to commit criminal damage. The arrest followed the circulation of a video online showing two shirtless white men painting large St. George’s crosses on a building, and a cameraman saying “Look at the raghead there, boy” as a Muslim woman passes by.

The footage shows the men painting the walls above a row of stores and restaurants with England’s national symbol while a third person films and a young girl looks on. “You guys are crazy. How long have you been doing this for?” the young girl asks. The man painting the crosses shouts down, “I’m an Englishman. I’ll do it till I die, sweetheart!”

He later adds, “It’s for the country, for your future, sweetheart.” The cameraman then notices a Muslim woman walking by, calling out, “Look at the raghead there, boy!”

The incident comes as “Operation Raise the Colours”—a grassroots campaign to hang English and British flags on lampposts and paint the St. George’s cross on white roundabouts and zebra crossings—is spreading across the country. The initiative has been driven by public anger over masses of boat migrants being moved into hotels in the middle of local communities, irritation with the proliferation of Palestinian flags in English streets, and a desire to assert English identity in areas such as the London borough of Tower Hamlets, where ethnic minorities now outnumber English natives.

According to police, the “raghead” comment is being treated as a racially aggravated offence, which carries harsh penalties under British law.

Basildon Council’s leader, Gavin Callaghan—of Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer’s far-left Labour Party—commented, “This week we’ve seen a large number of England and British flags put up across our borough. I think it’s fantastic to see our flag flying proudly. It shows the pride that so many people feel in our country and our community.” However, he added that “Painting on people’s shops or council buildings isn’t patriotism, it’s criminal damage.”

Callaghan’s conciliatory language on the flags stands in stark contrast with that of municipal leaders in areas where English natives are fewer in numbers, with Tower Hamlets having the St. George’s cross torn down at speed wherever it appears.

Chief Inspector Paul Hogben also addressed the incident, saying, “Regardless of anyone’s thoughts or views, causing damage by applying paint to people’s properties is clearly a criminal offence. Aside from that simple fact, some of the language directed towards a member of the public in this incident was disgraceful.”

Is Florida’s New Lt. Gov. Jay Collins ‘Woke’?

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: Florida’s new Republican Lieutenant Governor, Jay Collins, is facing backlash over allegations that a nonprofit group he has worked with since 2018 mandated diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) policies and requirements for employees and contractors.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Lt. Gov. Jay Collins (R-FL), Governor Ron DeSantis (R-FL), and Operation BBQ Relief.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The revelations emerged on Monday, August 25, 2025.

💬KEY QUOTE: “Implying he is woke is a joke. That dog won’t hunt.” — Gov. DeSantis

🎯IMPACT: The allegations that Collins worked for a pro-DEI nonprofit come as he is believed to be considering a run for Florida governor.

IN FULL

Florida’s new Republican Lieutenant Governor, Jay Collins, is facing backlash over allegations that a nonprofit group he has worked with since 2018 mandated diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) policies and requirements for employees and contractors. According to reports, Operation BBQ Relief—where Collins previously served as chief operating officer and chief program officer before being tapped by Governor Ron DeSantis (R-FL) to serve as Lt. Gov.—imposed an “expansive and documented DEI policy” on its staff.

Documents uncovered by Florida’s Voice reveal that the nonprofit required “[c]ontinuing mandatory annual training and education for OBR employees and key role volunteers with regard to inclusion and diversity” as late as 2020. Notably, Collins—who has been billed as an anti-DEI stalwart—began his involvement with Operation BBQ Relief in 2018. The documents go on to state: “The purpose of this policy is to memorialize in writing that Operation BBQ Relief (“OBR”) is committed to fostering, cultivating, and preserving a culture of diversity and inclusion across all of its activities, programs, and businesses,” while adding the nonprofit is “committed to fostering, cultivating, and preserving a culture of diversity and inclusion across all of its activities, programs, and businesses.”

“The ideologies of diversity, equal opportunity, and inclusion should be our guiding principles,” the Operation BBQ Relief documents declare, continuing: “They represent the concepts by which we best further and achieve our charitable mission.” Concerningly, the group adds that its mission is “built on the premise of gender and diversity equity.”

Despite the revelations regarding Operation BBQ Relief, Gov. DeSantis is standing by Collins, telling Florida media, “For years Florida has led the revolution against the woke mind virus and Jay Collins has been fighting alongside us every step of the way.”

“From eliminating DEI and nuking ESG [Environmental, Social, and Governance] to stopping CRT [Critical Race Theory] and banning CBDC [Central Bank Digital Currencies], Jay has stood strong for conservative values—and has never wavered,” Desantis continued, adding: “Implying he is woke is a joke. That dog won’t hunt.”
