Biden’s Ex-Chief of Staff Makes Stunning Inflation Admission.

Ron Klain, former Chief of Staff to President Joe Biden, acknowledged on Wednesday that the Biden government’s efforts to bring down prices for American consumers have not been successful. “Prices are still high, the price of gasoline is still high, other prices are still high, and people feel that pinch,” admitted Klain during an appearance on MSNBC’s “All In With Chris Hayes.” He added, “I think the President needs to make more progress on that.”

The remarks from the former White House Chief of Staff run contrary to claims made by the Biden government that inflation and prices are falling. President Biden has repeatedly asserted that his policies have reduced unemployment, cut consumer costs, and boosted the U.S. economy. According to polling data, however, American voters aren’t buying the President’s claims — which Klain acknowledged is a problem for Biden.

“I understand that people say, hey, I’m glad you have all these good things going on in the economy, I’m glad that there are jobs,” he told Hayes before adding: “But people want to see that their own personal pocketbook is better off.”

“People need more money in their pockets,” Klain concluded.

President Biden’s 2024 re-election campaign also appears to have already tacitly acknowledged the economic reality for many Americans isn’t as rosy as the White House insists. The campaign appears to have abandoned the term “Bidenomics” after featuring it on the campaign trail late last year.

Klain isn’t the only former or current Biden official to acknowledge that grocery, gasoline, and housing prices remain restrictively high for many Americans. In February, Biden’s own Treasury Secretary, Janet Yellen, told lawmakers on Capitol Hill that high prices are likely here to stay — while insisting it wasn’t the fault of “Bidenomics.”

Brigitte Macron Will Prove She’s a Woman with Photographic Evidence, Says Lawyer.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: Brigitte Macron, the 72-year-old wife of French President Emmanuel Macron, is pursuing a defamation case against American commentator Candace Owens over claims that she was born a man.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Brigitte Macron, Emmanuel Macron, Candace Owens, and the Macrons’ attorney, Tom Clare.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The lawsuit was filed on July 23, 2025, in the Superior Court of the State of Delaware.

💬KEY QUOTE: “It is a process that she will have to subject herself to in a very public way… she is firmly resolved to do what it takes to set the record straight.” — Tom Clare

🎯IMPACT: The case raises questions about free speech, digital misinformation, and international jurisdiction in U.S. courts.

IN FULL

France’s First Lady, Brigitte Macron, plans to present a Delaware Superior Court with scientific and photographic evidence proving that she is a biological female as part of a defamation lawsuit filed against commentator Candace Owens. Filed in July, the lawsuit comes in response to numerous claims made by Owens that the 72-year-old was born a man named Jean-Michel Trogneux.

Tom Clare, an attorney representing Brigitte Macron and French President Emmanuel Macron, whom Brigitte began dating when he was 15 and she was 39, says the legal team will be submitting “expert testimony that will come out that will be scientific in nature,” and that they will also prove “genetically” that the allegations made by Owens are false. “It is a process that she will have to subject herself to in a very public way… she is firmly resolved to do what it takes to set the record straight,” he said.

The attorney added that images of Brigitte Macron pregnant and raising her children would also be presented in court.

Meanwhile, Owens has pushed back against the lawsuit, with her legal team arguing that it is a politically motivated attempt to suppress free speech. They described the case as a “baseless defamation suit” and a violation of U.S. constitutional protections for journalists.

The lawsuit, filed in Delaware, accuses Owens of promoting a “campaign of global humiliation” through her podcast and social media posts. Owens had previously stated she would “stake [her] entire professional reputation” on her claims about the French First Lady.

Owens’s legal team has filed motions to dismiss the case, citing jurisdictional and procedural challenges. Under U.S. defamation law, if the person allegedly defamed is considered a public figure, they must demonstrate that the person who made the false statement acted with “actual malice.” This legal standard requires proving that the defamer either knew the statement was false or had a reckless disregard for whether it was true or false.

Trump Wants Key Afghan Airbase Back.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: President Donald J. Trump revealed efforts to regain control of the Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Donald Trump and the United States government.

📍WHEN & WHERE: Announced during a press conference in the United Kingdom on Thursday.

💬KEY QUOTE: “We are trying to get it back by the way. OK, that could be a little breaking news,” said Trump.

🎯IMPACT: The potential return of Bagram Air Base could have strategic implications, particularly considering its proximity to China.

IN FULL

During a press conference in the United Kingdom on Thursday, President Donald J. Trump stated that the United States is attempting to “get back” the Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan. The facility, one of the largest airbases in the world, was abandoned as part of the U.S. military’s chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan over four years ago under the former Biden government.

“We are going to keep Bagram, one of the biggest airbases in the world. We gave it for nothing. We are trying to get it back by the way. OK, that could be a little breaking news,” Trump said. He emphasized the strategic importance of the base, noting, “One of the reasons we want the base is, as you know, it’s an hour away from where China makes its nuclear weapons.”

The remarks highlight the ongoing discussions about the U.S. presence and strategic interests in the region, particularly in light of China‘s growing military capabilities. Bagram Air Base was a key hub during the nearly two-decade-long U.S. military engagement in Afghanistan.

It remains unclear how the U.S. military will reoccupy Bagram—whether it will require force or if President Trump intends to reach an agreement with the Taliban, which currently controls Afghanistan.

The Taliban has repeatedly denied that there is a Chinese military presence at the Bagram airbase, though Chinese interests have sought to establish economic and political influence in Afghanistan following the U.S. withdrawal from the region.

Venezuela Launches Military Drills After Trump’s Strikes on Drug Boats.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: Venezuela launched three days of large-scale military exercises in the Caribbean following U.S. strikes on “narcoterrorist” drug trafficking boats.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: President Donald J. Trump, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, and Venezuela’s Defense Minister Vladimir Padrino López.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The exercises began this week on La Orchila island, Venezuela, amid heightened U.S.-Venezuela tensions in the Caribbean.

💬KEY QUOTE: “It is an aggression all down the line, it’s a judicial aggression when they criminalise us, a political aggression with their daily threatening statements, a diplomatic aggression and an ongoing aggression of military character,” Maduro said of the U.S. operations against drug traffickers.

🎯IMPACT: The situation has escalated tensions between the U.S. and Venezuela, with military actions and rhetoric intensifying on both sides.

IN FULL

Venezuela has launched a three-day military exercise titled “Sovereign Caribbean” in response to President Donald J. Trump’s recent strikes on drug trafficker boats in the region. Defense Minister Vladimir Padrino López confirmed the operation involves the deployment of air defense systems, armed drones, and electronic warfare units. The exercises are taking place on La Orchila island, a Venezuelan military base, and feature 12 naval ships, 22 aircraft, and 20 small boats operated by Venezuela’s special maritime militia.

The move comes after U.S. forces carried out strikes on vessels linked to drug trafficking syndicates designated as Foreign Terrorist Organizations (FTOs) in the Caribbean. President Trump publicly confirmed a “kinetic” strike on one such boat, saying those on board were transporting illegal narcotics from Venezuela to the United States. “The Strike occurred while these confirmed narcoterrorists from Venezuela were in International Waters transporting illegal narcotics… headed to the U.S.,” Trump said.

In response, Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro condemned the U.S. action and accused Washington of attempting to destabilize his government. Maduro stated, “This isn’t tension. It is an aggression all down the line, it’s a judicial aggression when they criminalise us, a political aggression with their daily threatening statements, a diplomatic aggression, and an ongoing aggression of military character.” He warned that any further attacks could provoke a major confrontation, adding that Venezuela would declare a “republic in arms” if directly targeted.

The United States has labeled Maduro a “narcoterrorist” and placed a $50 million bounty on his capture. Maduro, in turn, accused U.S. forces of intercepting a Venezuelan fishing vessel in the country’s Special Economic Zone and detaining it for several hours, calling the incident an act of aggression.

The rise in tensions also comes amid growing concerns about Venezuelan criminal networks operating internationally. One such group, the Tren de Aragua, a transnational gang that originated in Venezuela’s Tocorón prison, expanded its presence into the United States at scale under former President Joe Biden. U.S. authorities have linked the gang to human trafficking, extortion, drug smuggling, and violent crimes in many American cities.

According to recent reports, federal law enforcement has tracked Tren de Aragua operations in places like Denver, where gang members have been involved in organized criminal activity.

Trump Tells UK PM to Use Military to End Illegal Immigration Crisis.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: President Donald J. Trump stated during a joint press conference that he told Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer, of Britain’s far-left Labour Party, to use the military to stop migrants from crossing the English Channel in small boats.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Donald Trump, Keir Starmer, and reporters at the press conference.

📍WHEN & WHERE: September 18, 2025, during a press conference at the Chequers estate in England.

💬KEY QUOTE: “You have people coming in, and I told the Prime Minister I would stop it, and it doesn’t matter if you call out the military, it doesn’t matter what means you use,” President Trump told reporters.

🎯IMPACT: The remarks come as Labour is celebrating the return of a single migrant to France under a new deal, which will require them to take a substitute migrant from the French authorities in return.

IN FULL

President Donald J. Trump has concluded his state visit to the United Kingdom by calling on Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer to take a tougher stance on illegal immigration, even suggesting the use of military force to stop the ongoing flood of boat migrants across the English Channel.

Speaking at a joint press conference at the Chequers estate before departing from Stansted Airport on Thursday afternoon, the U.S. President said, “You have people coming in, and I told the Prime Minister I would stop it, and it doesn’t matter if you call out the military, it doesn’t matter what means you use.”

The boat migrants crisis, initially exposed by Reform Party leader Nigel Farage, began under the formerly governing Conservative (Tory) Party, but has exponentially worsened since Starmer’s far-left Labour Party entered office in mid-2024.

Despite Starmer’s pre-election pledge to “smash the gangs” responsible for migrant smuggling, recent figures show a decline in arrests for organised immigration crime. The National Crime Agency (NCA) recorded 192 arrests in the year to April 2025, down from 229 in the same period the year before, under the Conservatives.

Concerns are intensifying over the criminal behaviour of asylum seekers housed in hotels at the taxpayers’ expense. A recent investigation revealed that at least 312 migrants placed in temporary accommodation have been charged with a total of 708 criminal offences over the past three years. The charges include rape, sexual assault, burglary, assault on emergency workers, and drug-related crimes. Notably, this data only covered 70 of the approximately 220 hotels used to house asylum seekers.

President Trump’s comments came after the America First leader and Starmer addressed the media on the subject of the British-American “special relationship.” The leaders held bilateral talks earlier in the day on key issues, including trade, the war in Ukraine, and the situation in Gaza. Starmer also announced a new technology partnership with the U.S., calling it a deal that would “change lives” and usher in a “new era.”

Hotel Migrant Who Raped Woman in Public Park Is Also a Terrorist.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: An asylum seeker convicted of rape in London, England, was revealed to be part of an Islamic terrorist cell linked to the Muslim Brotherhood.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Abdelrahmen Adnan Abouelela, a 47-year-old Egyptian member of the Muslim Brotherhood.

📍WHEN & WHERE: Abouelela was convicted of rape in Southwark Crown Court in England; previously sentenced in Egypt in 2015 for terrorist activities.

💬KEY QUOTE: Judge Gregory Perrins stated, “It’s clear to me you do not believe you have done anything wrong.”

🎯IMPACT: In theory, Abouelela faces automatic deportation, although it is likely that the courts will block this if he files human rights appeals against removal.

IN FULL

Abdelrahmen Adnan Abouelela, a 47-year-old migrant in Britain convicted of raping a woman in London’s Hyde Park while living in a four-star hotel at the taxpayers’ expense, has been revealed as a convicted terrorist in Egypt. He was found guilty in absentia by an Egyptian court in 2015 for manufacturing explosives used in attacks on infrastructure, including gas pipelines and power pylons. Abouelela, a known member of the Muslim Brotherhood, was sentenced to seven years in prison but fled Egypt before his conviction.

While the Muslim Brotherhood is designated as a terrorist organization in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), it remains legal in the United Kingdom. A 2015 review by the British government acknowledged the group’s history of supporting violence, but then-Prime Minister David Cameron stopped short of banning it.

Social media posts made by Abouelela since arriving in Britain show continued allegiance to the Brotherhood. He referred to the Egyptian authorities as “dogs.”

During his trial at Southwark Crown Court, Judge Gregory Perrins rejected the defence’s argument that Abouelela’s emotional disorders played a role in the rape, stating: “There is little connection between those circumstances and your decision to rape the victim on that night.”

Under the UK Borders Act 2007, Abouelela is subject to automatic deportation after serving his sentence. However, legal challenges citing the Human Rights Act, the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR), or the Refugee Convention are likely to result in his removal from the country being blocked—particularly as he is a terrorist who faces harsh punishment in Egypt.

Abouelela’s case comes at a time of increasing scrutiny over the United Kingdom’s asylum system, particularly the housing of illegal immigrants in taxpayer-funded hotels. Reports from 2025 show that at least 339 migrants staying in 105 hotels have been charged with crimes, including rape, robbery, and assault. In May 2025, counter-terrorism police raided several migrant hotels across England, arresting five Iranian nationals linked to an alleged terror plot.

The financial burden on British taxpayers is heavy. The National Audit Office (NAO) revealed that the cost of housing migrants is projected to rise from $6 billion to more than $20 billion annually. Although only about a third of asylum seekers are placed in hotels, they account for nearly three-quarters of total housing costs.

Democrats Remove Post Mocking Assassination of Charlie Kirk.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: The Yakima County Democrats faced backlash for posting a Facebook message mocking Charlie Kirk shortly after his assassination.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Yakima County Democrats, Charlie Kirk, Yakima County Party Chair Soneya Lund, and Kelso City Councilman Jim Hill.

📍WHEN & WHERE: Washington State, in the days following Kirk’s assassination.

💬KEY QUOTE: “Our deepest apologies for our oversight and insensitivity.” – Soneya Lund

🎯IMPACT: The incident highlights growing hostility and political tensions in Washington State following Kirk’s death, with additional controversies erupting across the state.

IN FULL

The Yakima County Democratic Party in Washington State is facing continued backlash over a social media post mocking the assassination of Turning Point USA (TPUSA) founder Charlie Kirk. “Blah blah blah Charlie Kirk hmm hmm hmm radicalized nada nada nada facists [sic],” the county party wrote in a now-deleted Facebook post following Kirk’s death, allegedly at the hands of 22-year-old Tyler Robinson, motivated by far-left politics and transgender ideology.

Soneya Lund, the chair of the Yakima County Democratic Party, issued an apology after Washington State residents began objecting to the post, claiming a volunteer had written the unauthorized message. “The Yakima Democrats do not condone violence of any sort, political or not. While we may not agree with an individual’s political stance, we 100% support their rights to vocalize them. Again, our thoughts and prayers are with [Erika] Kirk and their young children. … Our deepest apologies for our oversight and insensitivity,” Lund said.

Notably, the Yakima County incident is just the latest in Washington State in the fallout of Kirk’s assassination. Kelso, Washington, city councilman Jim Hill drew national attention and criticism over a post on a local news website in which he dismissed Kirk as a “podcaster” who “became rich and recognized because his lips were firmly attached to Trump’s behind.”

“The fact in my humble opinion is this. There is one less voice to promote Trump’s agenda. Where Trump and his minions want our Country to go. Perhaps it’s a good thing his voice was silenced,” Hill wrote.

He added, “Assassinations are going to continue. That there is unprecedented hate, I think, is out there. And guns are going to be the answer, to whether we continue to seek the ideals of our Constitution, continue our search for a better nation on one side, or Trumpism wins out.”

The comments received almost immediate pushback, with numerous individuals arguing that Hill was justifying political violence and encouraging further attacks.

Judge Blocks Deportation of Hundreds of Guatemalans.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: A federal judge blocked the Trump administration from deporting certain Guatemalan minors.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Judge Timothy Kelly, the Trump administration, the Guatemalan minors, and their attorneys.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The order was issued on Thursday, following a Labor Day weekend action where minors were moved to a plane bound for Guatemala, but an emergency order blocked their deportation.

🎯IMPACT: The decision halts the deportation of these minors indefinitely, though the Trump administration is likely to appeal.

IN FULL

On Thursday, U.S. District Court Judge Timothy Kelly issued an order blocking the deportation of a groups of Guatemalan minors, citing potential harm if they were returned to their home country. The case arose after federal authorities moved 70 minors, aged 10 to 17, from Health and Human Services (HHS) custody to a plane bound for Guatemala over Labor Day weekend, with plans to deport over 600 in total.

The Trump administration initially claimed the minors were being reunited with their parents, but declarations from the minors alleged fears of violence or neglect upon their return. A report from the Guatemalan attorney general’s office, submitted to the court, confirmed that no parents had requested the return of their children. “I don’t have anything specific that I can refer to contest the Guatemalan AG’s report,” said Sarah Welch, a U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) attorney.

Attorneys for the migrants secured an emergency restraining order from District Court Judge Sparkle Sooknanan during Labor Day weekend, which was later extended indefinitely by Judge Kelly. The attorneys argued that trafficking and immigration laws prohibit unaccompanied children from being deported in such a manner, especially when some have pending asylum cases or unresolved legal claims.

Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin criticized the initial restraining order, claiming it prevented the reunification of children with their families. “Judge Sparkle [Sooknanan] is blocking flights to *reunify* Guatemalan children with their families,” McLaughlin wrote on social media. She added, “Now these children have to go to shelters. This is disgusting and immoral.”

The minors remain in HHS custody without legal guardians in the United States. The Trump administration is likely to appeal the decision.

IN FULL

U.S. President Donald J. Trump and British Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer have signed a U.S.-UK Tech Prosperity Deal at Chequers, the Prime Minister’s official country residence. The agreement focuses on fostering cooperation in artificial intelligence (AI) and technology, with both leaders emphasizing the “unbreakable bond” between the two nations.

Business leaders from major corporations such as Nvidia, Microsoft, Rolls-Royce, and BlackRock were present for the signing. The deal includes a £250 (~$339 billion) investment flowing between the U.S. and the United Kingdom, projected to create tens of thousands of jobs in both countries. The leaders also highlighted the importance of energy and infrastructure to support AI advancements.

President Trump stated, “This agreement will also help America and our British allies dominate the future of artificial intelligence. You need the energy; you have to have the energy. That’s one thing I learned very quickly.” He also reiterated his belief that the U.S. is “leading China and the world by a lot” in AI technology.

Prime Minister Starmer expressed pride in the United Kingdom’s status in the field, stating, “We have the only trillion-dollar tech sector in the West outside of the U.S. That’s what we bring to the table, and we are proud of it.” He added that the British-American partnership would “deliver more for working people” and strengthen the economic ties between the two nations.

Judge Faces Ethics Reprimand for Making Almost a Thousand Democrat Donations.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: A Florida judge made hundreds of political donations totaling around $29,000 to Democrat-aligned organizations or candidates, violating judicial ethics rules.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Judge Diana Tennis and the Florida Judicial Qualifications Commission.

📍WHEN & WHERE: Donations were made since 2016; the case was filed at the Florida Supreme Court on Tuesday.

💬KEY QUOTE: “Judge Tennis admitted to her misconduct and has cooperated with the Commission in all respects during this inquiry. She has expressed deep regret that her conduct could have eroded the public’s perception of the integrity of the judiciary and judicial elections.” – Florida Judicial Qualifications Commission

🎯IMPACT: The case raises concerns about judicial impartiality, and the Florida Supreme Court will determine whether to approve a recommended public reprimand.

IN FULL

A Florida judge is facing disciplinary action for illicit political contributions barred under state ethics rules. According to a filing made earlier this week, Judge Diana Tennis made over 900 donations totaling approximately $29,000 to Democrat-aligned organizations and candidates. These donations, according to the Florida Judicial Qualifications Commission, violated judicial ethics rules outlined in Canons 1, 2A, and 7A (1)(e), which prohibit judges from making political contributions.

The commission noted that while other judges have made political donations, Tennis was described as “far and away the most prolific offender” in both the number of contributions and the total amount given. The organizations and campaigns receiving her donations included Democratic congressional candidates, pro-abortion PACs, and Joe Biden‘s presidential campaign.

Tennis expressed remorse for her actions, claiming that she misunderstood the rules and believed the prohibition only applied to state-level candidates. She also stated that some donations were unintentionally authorized as recurring payments or split into multiple entries by platforms or committees. Despite her explanations, the commission emphasized that her actions could undermine public trust in the judiciary.

In light of her cooperation and lack of prior disciplinary history, the commission recommended a public reprimand. “Judge Tennis admitted to her misconduct and has cooperated with the Commission in all respects during this inquiry. She has expressed deep regret that her conduct could have eroded the public’s perception of the integrity of the judiciary and judicial elections,” the commission said in its filing.

The Florida Supreme Court will now review and approve the recommendation. If accepted, Tennis will receive a public reprimand. If rejected, the case could proceed to a full hearing before the Judicial Qualifications Commission.
