BREAKING: Rep. Vernon Jones Defects from Democrat to Republican Party

Long-standing Democratic Party State Representative Vernon Jones this morning announced he is leaving the party of Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi and instead joining the Republican Party.

The announcement came during a speech on stage at the Ellipse outside the White House in Washington, D.C.

Jones, 60, tweeted moments ago:

Moments ago, I announced that I am officially joining the Republican Party.

Now more than ever, the Republican Party is in desperate need of leaders that know how to fight.

I know how to fight.

Jones has attracted the ire of fellow Democrats for endorsing President Trump and other Republican candidates in Georgia.
