President Trump has pardoned General Michael Flynn, his former national security adviser.
Flynn was targetted as part of the Democrat’s Russia collusion hoax, as he plead guilty to lying to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) about talking with a Russian diplomat during the 2016 Trump transition.
Attorney General Bill Barr had previously pushed for a federal court in Washington, D.C. to drop the case.
Taking to Twitter, President Trump announced it was his “Great Honor” to “grant a Full Pardon.”
“Congratulations to @GenFlynn and his wonderful family, I know you will now have a truly fantastic Thanksgiving,” he added.
