UK Parliament Defense Committee Insists Huawei Collaborates With Chinese Communist Party, West ‘Must Unite’ To Counter

 The British Parliament’s Defense Committee has found clear evidence that China-based telecom company Huawei colludes with the Chinese Communist Party, potentially prompting the removal of all Huawei equipment.

“The West must urgently unite to advance a counterweight to China’s tech dominance,” Chairman of the Defense Committee Tobias Ellwood said. “We must not surrender our national security for the sake of short-term technological development.”

While the committee does not provide extended detail about the exact nature of Huawei’s compromising ties, it says it has seen indisputable evidence of Huawei’s collusion with “the Chinese Communist Party apparatus”.
