Trump’s $50M Fundraiser Humiliates Obama, Clinton & Biden’s New York Bash.

Former President Donald Trump’s Saturday evening fundraiser in Palm Beach, Florida set a new fundraising record of over $50 million. Hosted by billionaire hedge fund founder John Paulson, the event attracted donors such as casino magnate Steve Wynn, Robert Bigelow of Bigelow Aerospace, and ex-U.S. Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross.

The Trump campaign strategy signals a booming resurgence in fundraising for both Trump and the GOP. Proceeds from the fundraiser, named the “Inaugural Leadership Dinner”, will fill the coffers of the Trump 47 Committee, a joint fundraising agreement orchestrated in tandem with the RNC, state Republican parties, and Trump’s legal fund, Save America.

Contributors to the event were extended two donation options. A contribution of $814,600 came with the perk of a seat at Trump’s table, and $250,000 secured a spot in the “host committee”. Both choices included a photo opportunity and a personalized copy of Trump’s photo book, “Our Journey Together”.

Notable attendees also included Senator Tim Scott, Governor Doug Burgum, and biotech tycoon Vivek Ramaswamy.

Could Biden Really Be Kept Off the Ballot in Ohio?

Ohio’s Secretary of State, Frank LaRose, has voiced concern that the timing of the 2024 Democratic National Convention may prevent President Joe Biden from appearing on the state’s general election ballot. In a letter to Ohio Democratic Party Chairwoman Liz Walters, LaRose noted the scheduled convention date of August 19, 2024, is over a week past the August 7 deadline for certifying candidates for the ballot.

The Biden campaign, however, has expressed confidence that the president will appear on all 50 state ballots, saying it’s closely monitoring Ohio’s situation.

LaRose suggested potential remedies? The Democratic Party could consider moving its convention date forward, or alternatively, it could petition the Ohio legislatures to form an exception to the rule by May 9 as prescribed by state law.

Even though the Democratic Party features on election ballots across all 50 states, the current scheduling could still pose a significant procedural challenge for the party and its primary candidate.

Conflict over the scheduling comes as a potential setback to Biden’s 2024 campaign in Ohio, a key battleground state which holds noticeable weight in national election outcomes. Ohio has 17 Electoral College votes.

Trump Calls for Biden to Take Drug Test, Hints at Cocaine Use.

Former President Donald Trump on Thursday challenged Joe Biden to take a drug test if the two were to engage in a debate. The request came during an interview with Hugh Hewitt, during which Trump insinuated that Biden may, at times, be under the influence of cocaine.

“I think what happened is you know that white stuff that they happened to find, which happened to be cocaine in the White House, I don’t know, I think something’s going on there, because I watched this State of the Union, and he was all jacked up at the beginning. By the end, he was fading fast,” Trump noted. “There’s something going on there. I want to debate. And I think debates, with him, at least, should be drug tested. I want a drug test,” he continued.

Hewitt, caught off guard, sought clarification on Trump’s comment hinting at Biden’s possible cocaine use. Trump replied that although he was not certain what Biden took, he said he believed he was “higher than a kite.”

“He’s obviously — he’s being helped some way, because most of the time, he looks like he’s falling asleep,” Trump said. “And all of a sudden, he walked up there and did a poor job. But he was all jacked up.”

No Labels Abandons Effort to Run a 3rd Party Candidate.

No Labels announced on Thursday that it is abandoning efforts to recruit a candidate to pursue a third-party run in the 2024 presidential election. The ‘centrist’ political group had been rumored to have tried recruiting several potential candidates to run on its ballot line, including Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV), former Gov. Chris Christie (R-NJ), former Gov. Nikki Haley (R-SC), former Gov. Larry Hogan (R-MD), and former Gov. Chris Sununu (R-NH).

“No Labels has always said we would only offer our ballot line to a ticket if we could identify candidates with a credible path to winning the White House,” the group’s CEO, Nancy Jacobson, said in a statement. She added: “No such candidates emerged, so the responsible course of action is for us to stand down.”

The group launched its effort to field a competitive third-party presidential candidate in 2022, raising a multi-million dollar campaign war chest in the subsequent years. In November 2023, No Labels’s chief strategist, Ryan Clancy, predicted: “Based on the conditions as they are, we expect to be putting up a ticket early next year.” As late as January of this year, the group claimed they were considering 13 candidates to put forward on a third-party unity ticket.

Early in the 2024 presidential election cycle, No Labels surprised the campaign world by gaining ballot access in over a dozen states, demonstrating that they had built an organized effort. Throughout its candidate search, the group maintained its intention to recruit a candidate who could contend with Democratic incumbent President Joe Biden and his Republican challenger, former President Donald Trump.

Former Sen. Joe Lieberman (D-CT), the founding chairman of No Labels, passed away on March 27, 2024.

RFK Apologizes After Briefly Appearing to Back J6 Defendants.

Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. says a fundraising email from a third-party vendor on behalf of his campaign referencing participants in the January 6 Capitol riot as “activists” was an error.

The email, titled “We Must Free Assange!”, stated, “This is the reality that every American Citizen faces — from Ed Snowden, to Julian Assange to the J6 activists sitting in a Washington DC jail cell stripped of their Constitutional liberties.”

Following a corporate media backlash, the campaign blamed the issue on an external marketing contractor whose contract it terminated. The email’s statement “does not reflect Mr. Kennedy’s views,” clarified Stefanie Spear, Kennedy’s spokesperson. The campaign has not disclosed the identity of the vendor responsible for this newswire misstep.

TRUMP BLASTS BIDEN DOJ.

On Thursday, the former president blasted the Biden government on his Truth Social account over the case of 71-year-old grandmother and great-grandmother Rebecca Lavrenz. A jury found Lavrenz guilty on four counts after praying inside the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021. Lavrenz faces three years in jail and up to $250,000 in fines.

SCOTUS TO THE RESCUE?

The Capitol riot defendants face charges under the novel legal application of The Sarbanes–Oxley Act of 2002. The act overhauled regulatory provisions dealing with financial record keeping and reporting for corporations. The DOJ contends that the “corruptly obstructing, influencing, or impeding an official proceeding” felony provision found in 18 U.S.C. § 1512(c)(2) — and enacted under Sarbanes-Oxley — permits the prosecution of crimes besides those of a financial nature.

The Supreme Court is currently considering whether the “official proceeding” provision can be applied to crimes outside the scope of Sarbanes-Oxley. It is expected to rule by the end of June.

NEW: Trump Blasts Biden Over ‘J6 Grandma’ Rebecca Lavrenz Guilty Verdict.

President Donald J. Trump has blasted the Biden regime on his Truth Social account over the case of 71-year-old grandmother and great-grandmother Rebecca Lavrenz, who was found guilty on four counts on Thursday after praying inside the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021. Lavrenz faces three years in jail and up to $250,000 in fines.

“Rebecca Lavrez, also known as the ‘J6 Praying Grandma,’ has been unfairly targeted by Crooked Joe Biden’s DOJ, and now faces up to 1 YEAR in prison for peacefully walking around the Capitol, and praying for our Failing Nation on January 6th!” Trump wrote.

Lavrenz clarified on the War Room show on Friday that her lawyers believe she faces up to three years in jail, given the charges. Her sentencing is on August 12th, though she is expected to appeal the verdict.

“Rebecca is a 72-year-old Grandmother and Small Business Owner from Colorado, and now she is one of Joe Biden’s J6 HOSTAGES!!!” Trump added, concluding: “Crooked Joe Biden spends more time prosecuting Patriots like Rebecca, AND ME, than Violent Criminals, Thugs, Murderers, and ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS who are destroying our Country. THIS IS WHAT WE ARE UP AGAINST. MAGA2024!”

ROCK BOTTOM: Dwayne Johnson Regrets 2020 Biden Endorsement, Slams ‘Woke’ and ‘Cancel’ Culture.

Actor and wrestling star Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has expressed regret over his endorsement of Joe Biden in 2020, and has vowed not to repeat the error. His comments came in an exclusive interview with Fox News aired Friday morning. Johnson also used the opportunity to blast “woke culture” and “cancel culture.”

“Am I happy with the state of America right now? Well, that answer is no,” Johnson said.

“The endorsement that I made years ago with Biden was one I thought was the best decision for me at that time,” he explained, saying he felt it was his duty to use his influence and his position to share his preferred candidate with the public.

“Am I going to do that again this year? That answer’s no,” he confirmed.

TEARS ME UP.

“What I realize, what that caused back then was something that tears me up in my guts back then and now, which is division. That got me. The takeaway after that, months and months, I realized, that caused division in our country. I realize now going into this election, I will not do that, my goal is to bring this country together.

“[With] this level of influence, I’m going to keep my politics to myself; I think it’s between me and the ballot box,” he said, adding he would support whoever the American people choose.

Johnson also said he was not planning to enter the political arena himself “as of now.”

NeoCon John Bolton Appears on ‘Bloodbath Hoax’ MeidasTouch Network, Promoted by Biden Campaign.

Former National Security Advisor and noted warmonger John Bolton made an appearance on MeidasTouch Network, the media organization behind the Trumpbloodbath‘ hoax. The Biden campaign promoted the appearance on social media.

During a softball interview with Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs associate Ben Meiselas that was shared by the official Biden-Harris HQ account on X, formerly Twitter, Bolton asserted that former President Donald Trump poses a threat to U.S. national security.

“The basic problem is he’s not really fit to be president,” Bolton claimed. “When you come to trying to make decisions on national security issues, he’s not focused on what’s at stake for the United States, what our options are, how we can protect our interests.”

However, Bolton’s characterizations of Trump are at odds with the former President’s foreign policy record. While in office, Trump made historic advancements for peace in the Middle East and took steps to normalize relations with North Korea, both opportunities that the Biden regime has squandered. The former President also took steps to revolutionize the U.S. relationship with NATO, arguing that other members must pay more for the common defense — a position that has been taken up and supported by several NATO states in light of the Russo-Ukraine War.

Far-Left Calls for SCOTUS Justice Sotomayor Retirement Reveal Dems Believe in Trump Victory.

Democrats are increasingly calling on Justice Sonia Sotomayor to resign from the Supreme Court before the 2024 presidential election, suggesting a widespread belief that former President Donald Trump will win.

Sotomayor is 69,  a lifelong diabetic, and the oldest liberal member of the court. Should Trump win the election and Sotomayor need to retire in the next four years due to her health, conservatives could secure a 7-2 majority.

Senator Richard Blumenthal recently expressed those fears. “I’m very respectful of Justice Sotomayor,” he told NBC. “I have great admiration for her. But I think she really has to weigh the competing factors. We should learn a lesson. And it’s not like there’s any mystery here about what the lesson should be. The old saying — graveyards are full of indispensable people, ourselves in this body included.”

Although many Democrats have publicly spoken out against Sotomayor’s retirement, sources indicate that most believe she should. “All the people in the liberal legal community are putting hurting Sonia’s feelings ahead of the prospect of a 7-2 court. Insane,” said one Democrat who worked on judicial nominations but is prohibited from speaking about the justices publicly. “So they don’t say anything about her retiring when they all think she should.”

Controversial former MSNBC host Mehdi Hasan echoed these concerns in a column in The Guardian. “Biden, elected Democrats, and liberals and progressives across the board should be both publicly and privately encouraging Sotomayor to consider what she wants her legacy to be, to remember what happened with [Ruth Bader Ginsburg], and to not take any kind of gamble with the future of our democracy,” Hasan wrote.

Trump currently leads Biden in six of seven of the most crucial swing states, according to recent polling.

Trump, RNC Haul Whopping $65.6M in March.

The Trump campaign and the Republican National Committee jointly announced on Wednesday that they raised $65.6 million in March, leading to a total of $93.1 million cash on hand.

“Our campaign, working together with the RNC, has been steadily ramping up our fundraising efforts, and our March numbers are a testament to the overwhelming support for President Trump by voters all across the spectrum,” Trump campaign co-manager Susie Wiles said.

The Biden campaign’s latest fundraising figures have yet to be disclosed, though it claimed a recent high-ticket event with former presidents in New York City netted $25 million. The Biden campaign ended February with $155 million on hand.

“Republicans may not be beneficiaries of the self-interested largesse from Hollywood and Silicon Valley elites, but President Trump is proud to be supported by donations from voters who are the backbone of this nation, which will fuel Republicans up and down the ballot,” Wiles said.

Ongoing lawfare efforts against Trump have impacted his campaign’s finances. This necessitated the creation of a joint fundraising account, the Trump 47 Committee, empowered to draw checks up to $814,600 in value. In February, Trump’s leadership PAC, Save America, spent over $5.6 million on legal costs while a supportive super PAC, MAGA Inc., funneled $50 million to Save America, primarily to cover legal expenses.

The announcement of Trump’s significant fundraising haul comes as a Wall Street Journal poll shows the former President leading Joe Biden in six of seven of the most crucial swing states.
