DATA: 74% of Hispanics Support Use of ‘Illegal’ to Describe Laken Riley’s Killer.

The vast majority of Hispanics support labeling Laken Riley’s killer — Venezuelan national Jose Antonio Ibarra — ‘illegal.’ A significant majority of Hispanics also disapprove of Biden’s performance as President.

When Joe Biden used the term ‘illegal’ to describe Ibarra during his State of the Union address, it was followed by an outcry from far-left extremists in the Democratic Party and pro-illegal immigration advocates across the country. However, nearly three-quarters of Hispanics — 74 percent — believe it was appropriate for Joe Biden to use the term, according to a recent Harvard/Harris poll.

A majority of Hispanics — 63 percent — also believe that the border crisis is getting worse. Seventy-one percent of Hispanics think that the Biden government must do more to make it harder for illegals to enter the country. Sixty-nine percent of Hispanics also believe that Riley’s murder proves stricter immigration policies are necessary.

The poll also suggests that the Biden regime’s willful mishandling of the border crisis is turning support for stricter border enforcement into a bipartisan issue. Seventy percent of all voters polled believe that Riley’s murder highlighted the need for stricter immigration controls, with 84 percent of Republicans, 62 percent of Democrats, and 64 percent of swing voters agreeing.

The data also illustrates the extent to which Hispanic voters — once considered a reliable Democratic constituency — are losing faith in Biden and the Democrats. Sixty-eight percent of Hispanics disapprove of the job Biden is doing on the economy overall, and 70 percent disapprove of his handling of inflation.  Sixty-five percent disapprove of his handling of foreign affairs, and 63 percent disapprove of his handling of immigration.

Finally, A Win for Election Integrity!

Republicans won a major battle over election integrity in Pennsylvania yesterday, as three Democrat judges voted in favor of signature verification for mail-in voting.

The details: The U.S. 3rd Circuit Court of Appeals, which is made up of three Democrat-appointed judges, ruled 2-1 to overturn a lower court’s previous ruling that said the state could not enforce a “dated signature requirement” for mail-in ballots.

Back up: In November 2022, the RNC sued to ensure signature verification, and the state Supreme Court ruled in their favor. But this past November, a federal court struck down that ruling, leading to this most recent appeal and judgment…

The 3rd Circuit declared: “The Pennsylvania General Assembly has decided that mail-in voters must date the declaration on the return envelope of their ballot to make their vote effective… thus, failure to comply renders a ballot invalid under Pennsylvania law.”

Big picture: In 2020, Pennsylvania saw 2,637,065 votes cast by mail-in ballot. And according to the official tally, Joe Biden won by roughly 80,000 votes.

  • Translation: Even the slightest amount of mail-in voter fraud could have been the deciding factor in that race.

Pennsylvania is critical. If it’s going to allow vote-by-mail, then having signature verification is a major step toward ensuring the upcoming election is secure.

DATA: Trump Ally Alex Bruesewitz Opens 20-Point Lead In Wisconsin Primary.

Early polling of the election to replace retiring Representative Mike Gallagher (R-WI) shows Alex Bruesewitza staunch ally of former President Donald Trump — holding a commanding lead. Bruesewitz comes in at 36 percent, with State Sen. André Jacque at 15 percent, and Roger Roth — rumored to be backed by Gallagher — at 12 percent among Republican primary voters. An additional 36 percent of Wisconsin Republicans remained undecided.

The poll — conducted by the former Vivek Ramaswamy campaign pollster, Cygnal — indicates 64 percent of Republican primary voters in the district would prefer a candidate who wasn’t a career politician. This sentiment could favor Bruesewitz, who hasn’t held elected office before. Meanwhile, both Jacque and Roth have had long tenures as elected officials.

During his 2022 run for Lt. Governor, Roth — the son of former nine-term Congressman Toby Roth (R-WI) — declined to endorse former President Trump’s running again in 2024. Roth implied that if the former President ran, he’d divide the Republican Party and face stiff primary competition.

Gallagher announced he would retire early last week. According to the Wisconsin Republican, his retirement will take effect on April 19 — placing it too close to the general election for a special election to be held. The seat will remain empty then until November.

Responding to Gallagher’s underhanded decision to prevent a special election, Bruesewitz posted on X (formerly Twitter): “If Mike Gallagher doesn’t do the right thing and resign by April 2nd, the people of Wisconsin hope [Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene] introduces a resolution to EXPEL him from Congress!”

Several of Gallagher’s House Republican colleagues have floated the idea of moving to expel him from Congress before mid-April so that a special election can still be held.

‘Bidenomics’ is Dead.

Joe Biden and his fellow Democrats have abandoned the term “Bidenomics” as Americans reject their economic message, and Republicans have turned the term into a pejorative.

The numbers: According to an analysis by Axios, here’s how often Biden mentioned the term “Bidenomics” during public appearances:

  • 100 times between June and Dec 2023;
  • 3 times in 2024.

Most notably, Biden didn’t mention the term once during his State of the Union this month.

Trickle-down Bidenomics: Joe’s fellow Democrats have also abandoned the term. For instance, in July 2023, Congressional Democrats used the term 483 times in addresses and on social media. In March? Ten times.

Weaponizing Bidenomics: Axios points out that “Republicans are now using the term — mockingly — far more than Democrats.” For an example, look no further than the ‘First Word’ in yesterday’s newsletter.

Big picture: The real reason Democrats abandoned the term is they couldn’t sell it to the American people who are suffering from the effects of Bidenflation, which is up roughly 20 percent since Joe took office.

  • A recent Fox News poll found that 61 percent of Americans disapprove of Biden’s handling of the economy, vs 38 percent who approve.

Big Apple Splitscreen: Trump Attends Slain Cop’s Wake While Biden Yucks It Up at $500K Colbert Fundraiser.

Joe Biden is holding an elite fundraiser alongside predecessors Barack Obama and Bill Clinton — both several years his junior — and corporate media personality Stephen Colbert, charging a ticket price of up to half a million dollars. Donald Trump, meanwhile, is attending the wake of a New York police officer who was gunned down in the line of duty.

Over 5,000 people are expected at Biden’s Radio City Music Hall event, with even the cheapest tickets costing $250. He expects to gain significant additional funds by charging for photo opportunities, with a picture with all three Democrat presidents costing $100,000.

The Biden-Harris campaign is boasting that the event will break fundraising records, adding $25 million to a war chest already substantially larger than Donald Trump’s.

The America First leader, on the other hand, will attend the wake of Officer Jonathan Diller in suburban Massapequa. Diller, a man in his early thirties with a one-year-old child, was shot and killed during a routine traffic stop in what Trump campaign spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt described as a “senseless and tragic death.”

“Our heartfelt prayers go out to the family of highly decorated NYPD officer Jonathan Diller, whose life was taken by a murderous career criminal yesterday during a traffic stop in Queens,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

“The ‘thug’ in question has 21 prior arrests and just recently got out of prison – he NEVER should have been let back out on the streets,” he continued.

“To Officer Diller’s family, and all of the other brave men and women of law enforcement who put your lives on the line every day, we love you, we appreciate you, and we will always stand with you!”

7 in 10 Dems ‘Fear’ Trump Return.

New data suggests Democrats are more likely to say they’re “fearful” or “angry” that former President Donald Trump might return to the White House than Republicans are at the chance Joe Biden serves four more years in office. Despite the Democrat angst regarding Trump, they’re as equally unenthused about voting for the 81-year-old Biden. The late March Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research poll shows that overall voter enthusiasm regarding November’s presidential election is low.

Seven in 10 Democrats polled said they were “angry” or “fearful” when asked about the possibility of a second Trump term in office. Meanwhile, just over half of Republican respondents described a second Biden term in the same way. Overall, about 40 percent of voters polled said “fearful” best describes their feelings about the prospects of former President Trump returning to office. Around 30 percent said the same regarding a possible second term for President Biden.

While the fear of Trump motivates a portion of Democrat voters, the poll still found Republicans maintaining the enthusiasm edge. Over half of Republicans polled said they were excited about Trump’s candidacy, while just 40 percent of Democrats said the same regarding Biden.

The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research poll also found that President Biden’s approval among voters continues to lag. Just 38 percent of respondents approved of the job the Democrat incumbent has done while in office. Biden’s approval rating has taken a hit even among Democrats, with 4 in 10 saying they now disapprove of his handling of immigration and the border crisis. Similarly, 3 in 10 Democrats said they disapprove of Biden’s handling of the economy.

DATA: Joe Biden is Gaining Ground in Swing States.

Joe Biden has narrowed former President Donald Trump’s lead in six of seven critical swing states, according to a new poll from Bloomberg News/Morning Consult. The Democrat incumbent now narrowly leads Trump in Wisconsin by one point and has pulled even in Michigan and Pennsylvania. Last month, former President Trump led Biden by between four and six points in all three states.

While the poll offers a degree of hope for Biden’s re-election campaign, it remains to be seen if the tightening in the presidential race is a sustained trend or if the poll is just an outlier. The Biden campaign’s improved position — in part — has been fueled by increased voter confidence in the state of the U.S. economy, according to the data. All three northern swing states have also seen a significant increase in campaign spending by the Biden campaign.

Meanwhile, former President Trump continues to lead the Democrat incumbent in Arizona, Nevada, and North Carolina, although Biden has closed the gap in each state. When third-party candidates are included, Trump leads Biden across the seven swing states 43 percent to 38 percent. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. comes in at 9 percent, while Cornel West and Jill Stein each poll at just 1 percent.

The data also suggests concerns that Nikki Haley voters would sit out the 2024 race are unfounded. A majority of Haley supporters said they would back Trump in a head-to-head contest with Biden. Additionally, voters still indicate they trust former President Donald Trump to better handle issues like jobs, the economy, and inflation over Biden. While the economy remains the top issue for voters, its share declined from 39 percent to 34 percent. Immigration doubled as a top issue to 17 percent of those polled.

Biden’s DHS Using Taxpayer-Funded Comic Books to Fight Perceived Election ‘Disinformation.’

The Biden government is deploying taxpayer-funded comic books to combat what it considers ‘disinformation’ ahead of the 2024 presidential election in November. Produced by the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), the comic books are intended to educate voters on how foreign governments try to influence U.S. elections. Backed by CISA’s parent agency, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the government-produced comic books also raise civil liberties concerns as they position the government agency as the final determinant of ‘truth.’

Several lawmakers on Capitol Hill have criticized the DHS program. Rep. Dan Bishop (R-NC) called the comic books another avenue for the government to “trample on the First Amendment” and label any dissident as ‘disinformation.’ Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) joked earlier this year, “D.C. Comics won’t be adding these taxpayer-funded comic books… to their repertoire anytime soon.”

The CISA-produced “Resilience Series” comic books have gone relatively unnoticed by the American Public. On X (formerly Twitter), the CISA page hosting the com books has been linked less than a dozen times. Furthermore, two high-production videos promoting the comic books on YouTube have only pulled 4,000 and 6,000 views.

Former FBI agent Clint Watts — who now works as a contributor to MSNBC — wrote the comic book series along with his co-author, Farid Haque. Haque, the CEO of London-based Erly Stage Studios, previously served as the head of former British Prime Minister David Cameron’s StartUp Britain campaign.

Fresh Evidence of Ballot Stuffing, Voter Fraud May Lead to THIRD Attempt to Elect Mayor.

Connecticut Secretary of State Stephanie Thomas (D) is asking the State Elections Enforcement Commission (SEEC) to investigate allegations of ballot stuffing and voter fraud in the city of Bridgeport’s mayoral election. If the commission concludes that fraud did sway the results, this will be the second time such a determination has been made in less than a year.

The September Democrat primary results were tossed out by a state judge after a preponderance of evidence indicated allies of incumbent Democrat Mayor Joe Ganim engaged in vote-box stuffing and illegal ballot-harvesting practices. The initial results on election night showed Ganim’s primary challenger, John Gomes, ahead by several hundred votes. However, the next day, the results reversed, with Ganim taking the lead.

After reviewing the evidence of election fraud, the judge ordered the results vacated and scheduled a new primary election and general election for January and February, respectively. Ganim once again won the primary and general election while dogged by allegations of having committed election fraud.

According to the Secretary of State, after the new February general election, “eight voters out of 63… indicated during spot check calls that they received absentee ballots despite not requesting them.” Another voter reported “that someone came to his house to help him, had him sign some paperwork, and then took his ballot away.” Thomas additionally says there is evidence voters were offered cash payments in exchange for their absentee ballots.

The allegations have been significant enough to prompt legislative action. The Connecticut House Government Administration and Elections Committee has introduced a bill to bolster the surveillance of absentee ballot collection and limit ballot accessibility to ensure a more effective and fair election process.

AUDIO: WH Press Sec Karine Jean-Pierre HANGS UP on Interviewer for Asking About Biden’s Dementia.

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre abruptly ended an interview with Charlotte, North Carolina, radio station WBT on Tuesday, hanging up on the host after he pressed her on voter concerns over President Joe Biden’s cognitive decline and high gas prices. The host told Jean-Pierre that he had been pushed by numerous people to “please just ask her, does the President have dementia?”

“Mark, I can’t even believe you’re asking me this question,” Biden’s press secretary fired back before continuing: “That is an incredibly offensive question to ask.” The radio host pressed again, countering that many voters were asking the question. Jean-Pierre responded that the President’s physician has been transparent about Biden’s health. She said if people paid attention, they’d see “exactly how focused he’s been on the American people.” Jean-Pierre went on to tell the radio host that she rejected the premise of his question, calling it “insulting.”

The two next moved on to discussing how President Biden planned to tackle inflation’s impact on gas and grocery prices. Jean-Pierre said the President “gets it” and “understands how difficult it is for Americans who are sitting around their kitchen table every month trying to figure out what they’re going to pay for.” Pivoting to the standard White House line, she blamed the high gas prices on Russia’s invasion of Ukraine while claiming the U.S. is in a better position on energy costs now than it was a year ago.

Before the WBT host could respond, Jean-Pierre abruptly ended the interview with a quick “thank you” before hanging up.
