KASSAM: Is The October Surprise Biden’s Demise?

Raheem Kassam, Editor-in-Chief of The National Pulse, believes Joe Biden’s death could prove to be the ‘October Surprise’ in the U.S. election, even if the so-called “Clinton diaspora” has to “make it happen.”

Citing an Axios report that quotes a Bill Clinton administration official as saying the “Clinton diaspora is freaking the hell out” about Biden’s reelection prospects, Kassam referred his social media followers to a podcast from Thursday where he raised the possibility of the 81-year-old dying.

“You had a snap election in the UK, and you had a snap election in France,” Kassam said on the podcast. “There’s a globalist theme for 2024. I just would not be surprised—do not put it past them—to watch Joe Biden die on his feet in front of the American public. Maybe not literally, but literally to pass away, a week, two weeks, three weeks before an election, and then, boom, it’s a snap election, it’s a snap candidate.”

In these circumstances, Kassam said, the Democrats could strongly benefit from a “sympathy vote.”

“And the sympathy vote… Go and look at that [Barry] Goldwater blowout if you need reminding of that,” he advised.

“A sympathy vote just can take enough away from the moderates and the independents. Can [bring out] a lot to the people who were going to stay at home, not vote for Biden. Suddenly, you’re in a different situation,” he stressed.

Barry Goldwater was the Republican challenger to Lyndon B. Johnson, who became President after the assassination of John F. Kennedy. Goldwater had been expecting to challenge Kennedy, having been the frontrunner for the Republican nomination prior to his 1963 assassination. He faced heavy backlash because he publicly criticized Kennedy before his death, despite their personal friendship.

Johnson carried all but six states.

Biden’s Goldilocks Press Conference.

Joe Biden delivered his much-anticipated “big boy” press conference yesterday, an event the White House hoped would quiet calls for the president to step down amid growing concerns over his cognitive abilities.

Did you say ‘big boy press conference”? Yes, those are the White House’s words, not mine. Earlier this week, both Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre and National Security Advisor John Kirby teased the “big boy press conference.”

The details: The speech, which took place at the NATO Summit in Washington D.C., was the first time Joe Biden has given a solo press conference since November 2023.

  • Predetermined reporters: After seven minutes of reading off a teleprompter without any major gaffes, Biden said, “I’ve been given a list of people to call on,” and took questions from the press.
  • The big gaffe: In response to the first question about VP Kamala Harris, Biden said: “Look, I wouldn’t have picked Vice President Trump to be Vice President if I didn’t think she was qualified to be president.”
  • What else? Biden took questions for about 50 minutes. He sounded low-energy and had several stumbles, but he didn’t fall flat on his face like at the debate last month.

Goldilocks press conference: For folks [like me] who believe Biden would be an easier opponent to beat in November than a younger, more energetic candidate—his mediocre performance was the best-case scenario for Donald Trump. It was good enough to ward off fresh calls for Biden to drop out but had enough gaffes to feed the drumbeat of viral clips showing his decline.

What are Americans saying? A new poll from Pew Research found that just 24 percent of American voters think Joe Biden is ‘mentally sharp’ compared to 58 percent for Trump.

Big picture: We’re now in the third week of fallout from Biden’s disastrous debate performance with no signs of slowing down.

Italy’s Meloni Rolls Eyes as Biden Late to NATO Summit, Cringes as He Invades Her Personal Space.

Italy’s Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni appeared visibly frustrated on Thursday while waiting with other world leaders for Joe Biden and outgoing NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg to begin the third day of the alliance’s Washington, D.C. summit. They did not arrive for the scheduled 10 AM start time, prompting Meloni to exchange an eye roll and wrist-tapping gesture with Finland’s President Alexander Stubb.

Footage shows Meloni glancing at the ceiling, crossing her eyes, and pointing to an invisible watch, signaling annoyance with the delay. Some observers believe a zombie-like face she pulled was an impression of the 81-year-old Biden.

Biden and Stoltenberg eventually began proceedings around 10:40 AM, nearly 40 minutes late. The Democrat caused Meloni further consternation by looming into her personal space after going in for a kiss, causing her to cringe away with her back arched in the opposite direction.

Meloni, elected on an anti-mass migration populist platform but accused of being too focused on seeking favor with globalist leaders after assuming the premiership, was more patient with Biden at the recent G7 summit. Notably, she helped wrangle him back into position as he began wandering off during a photo op.

The NATO summit proved to be another major embarrassment for Biden, as he introduced Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky as “President Putin” and said Donald Trump was his vice president.

Zelensky Joins Those Questioning Biden’s Health.

Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky, who has received billions of dollars from the Joe Biden regime, is raising concerns about the elderly Democrat’s health following his poor presidential debate performance against former president Donald J. Trump.

Zelensky, who is in Washington, D.C., for a key NATO summit focused on Ukraine, is “among the leaders who watched the presidential debate and is concerned about the situation,” according to a Ukrainian source who spoke to Axios.

Biden introduced the Ukrainian leader as “President Putin” at the summit.

An anonymous European diplomat shared with Axios that summit attendees are keen to ascertain Biden’s current condition. “People are coming [to the NATO summit] to witness whether Biden is or is no longer [in charge],” the diplomat noted.

Bloomberg reported that European countries are holding discreet meetings with individuals affiliated with Trump, signaling decreased confidence in Biden’s reelection prospects.

The delegations seek insights on a potential Trump administration and its implications for international alliances. Delegates have reportedly interacted with former Trump officials and prominent Republicans.

Earlier in the NATO summit, several ministers from the Baltic states seemed to hint that they were expecting a second Trump term following November’s election.

Zelensky’s remarks also follow another report from the NATO summit claiming that Biden was unable to recognize attendees he has known for a long time.

Many Democrat politicians, media outlets, and others have outright called for Biden to exit the presidential race due to his frailty and mental state.

A recent survey indicates that 51 percent of Americans support removing Biden from the White House, with 41 percent of people who voted for Biden in 2020 agreeing that the 25th Amendment should be invoked against him.

Biden Campaign Demanded Milwaukee Radio Station Edit Post-Debate Interview.

Joe Biden’s re-election campaign demanded Civic Media’s Milwaukee-based progressive radio host Earl Ingram edit his interview with the 81-year-old Democrat before it aired. The radio network insists the edits to the interview, recorded on July 3 and aired on July 4, were non-substantive, but acknowledges they complied with the Biden campaign’s demand.

“On Monday, July 8th, it was reported to Civic Media management that immediately after the phone interview was recorded, the Biden campaign called and asked for two edits to the recording before it aired,” the radio station said in a statement on Thursday. “Civic Media management immediately undertook an investigation and determined that the production team at the time viewed the edits as non-substantive and broadcast and published the interview with two short segments removed.”

In response to the revelation regarding the edited interview, Civic Media stated they would make the entire, unedited conversation with Biden available online. According to the station, Biden cut two comments from the aired interview, which occurred at 5:20 and 14:15 minutes, respectively.

The first edit removed a claim by Biden regarding diversity in his government. Biden said: “…and in addition to that, I have more Blacks in my administration than any other president, all other presidents combined, and in major positions, cabinet positions.”

In the second edit, Biden incoherently references former President Donald J. Trump‘s remarks regarding the Central Park Five. “I don’t know if they even call for their hanging or not, but he–but they said […] convicted of murder,” the octogenarian Democrat babbles.

The National Pulse reported on Monday that Pennsylvania talk radio host Andrea Lawful-Sanders was fired by her station after it was revealed she used Biden campaign-provided questions for his post-debate interview.

INSURRECTION? Dozens of Biden’s Pledged Delegates Lobbying DNC to Oust Him in Secret Ballot.

A group of Democratic National Convention (DNC) delegates pledged to Joe Biden are raising the possibility of a floor revolt against the 81-year-old incumbent. The convention, which will take place August 19-22, would normally be a simple coronation of Biden, who handily won the Democratic presidential primary. However, major donors and national Democratic Party leaders are believed to be stoking a rebellion against Biden’s nomination at the convention following his cognitively impaired June 27 debate performance.

In response to the revolt, the Biden campaign must dedicate resources to reinforcing support among their convention delegates. While the dozens-strong group of dissenters is still relatively small in number, the ongoing panic among Democratic lawmakers and donors risks the delegate revolt escalating into a chaotic convention floor fight.

According to one convention delegate, the Biden campaign phoned them and asked a series of probing questions. “Do you understand what being a pledged delegate means?” the individual said the campaign asked. They added that the Biden staffers followed up, pressing: “Do you have any potential disagreements with the president?”

In another instance, a delegate says the Biden campaign was blunt, asking: “Is there any reason you couldn’t or wouldn’t support the president at the convention?”

The line of questioning likely indicates the Biden re-election campaign is unsure as to what extent a potential delegate rebellion has spread.

A large-scale delegate revolt could undermine an often-used Democratic line of attack against former President Donald J. Trump, whom they accuse of being a threat to democracy. If delegates are successful in ousting Biden, it would overturn the decision of rank-and-file Democrat voters who overwhelmingly backed his decision to run for re-election during the party’s primary elections.

Biden Introduces Zelensky as ‘President Putin,’ Calls Harris ‘Vice President Trump.’

Joe Biden gaffed repeatedly at the NATO summit, introducing Ukraine’s Volodymyr Zelensky as “the President of Ukraine, who has as much courage as he has determination, President Putin.” Elsewhere, he said he “wouldn’t have picked Vice President Trump to be Vice President did I think she was not qualified to be President.”

Footage of Secretary of State Antony Blinken and other senior officials in the Biden government while the 81-year-old was making the “Vice President Trump” gaffe shows them visibly cringing and looking at the ground.

Posts by Harris on social media critical of Trump are receiving a chorus of facetious praise thanking her as “Vice President Trump,” alongside admonishments for “disrespecting our VP.”

Members of the press asked Biden directly about the fact he had named Trump as Vice President, saying, “Right now, Donald Trump is using that to mock your age and your memory; how do you combat that criticism from tonight?”

“Listen to him,” Biden replied, perhaps unhelpfully.

Democrat lawmakers and Democrat-supporting media are increasingly pressing Biden to exit the presidential race. Reports indicate Nancy Pelosi, the influential former House Speaker, has instructed many lawmakers poised to go public with their complaints about Biden once the NATO summit is over and foreign leaders have gone home.

While she has denied this, she is declining to back Biden’s reelection bid, saying it is “up to the President to decide if he is going to run,” adding: “We’re all encouraging him to make that decision because time is running short”—despite the fact he has already stated clearly that he does want to run.

DATA: Less Than a Quarter of Registered Voters Think Biden Is Mentally Sharp.

Less than 25 percent of registered U.S. voters think Joe Biden is mentally sharp. Pew Research data shows a steady and significant decline in voter confidence in Biden’s cognitive abilities since he took office in 2021. The survey of American voters is likely to reinforce concerns among Democrat lawmakers that Biden’s presidential re-election campaign is unsalvagable.

According to the data, in 2021, just over half of registered voters said they believed Biden was mentally sharp enough to serve as president. However, over the past three years, that number has taken a steady dive. Just a year into the 81-year-old Democrat’s presidency, confidence in Biden’s mental sharpness had fallen to around 40 percent. By 2023, just a third of registered voters said Biden was mentally sharp. Today, that number sits at less than one-quarter.

Meanwhile, perceptions of former President Donald J. Trump‘s mental acuity have risen. In 2021, half of registered voters saw Trump as being mentally sharp. Today, that number sits at nearly 60 percent.

While Biden‘s advanced age—and cognitive weakness—have been a voter concern for some time, the issue has been pushed to the forefront of the 2024 presidential election following the Democrat’s disastrous June 27 debate performance. Over the 90-minute showdown against former President Trump, Biden appeared incoherent and mentally impaired—raising concerns that he is suffering from severe cognitive decline.

The National Pulse reported on Saturday that White House visitor logs have revealed a multitude of meetings between Biden’s personal physician, Dr. Kevin O’Connor, and Dr. Kevin Cannard, a Parkinson’s and deep brain disorder specialist, since July 2023.

Earlier on Thursday, a separate poll indicated over half of Americans believe the executive branch officials and Vice President Kamala Harris should use the 25th Amendment to remove Biden from office.

Is The End Nigh? Democrat Effort to Dump Biden Spreads to Inner Circle.

Advisors in the 81-year-old Joe Biden‘s inner circle and on his 2024 presidential re-election campaign acknowledge that he cannot win and needs to drop out of the race. “He needs to drop out,” an anonymous Biden campaign official said in a recent interview. They added: “He will never recover from this.”

This dissident within the Biden campaign is not alone. A second campaign advisor says, “No one involved in the effort thinks he has a path.” According to these sources, donor concern over Biden’s cognitive impairment has caused campaign fundraising to almost entirely dry up—leaving the re-election effort unsure about how to move forward.

Pushing back against their internal revolt, Biden campaign manager Jennifer O’Malley Dillon issued a memo to campaign staff insisting that the 81-year-old incumbent has a path to victory. “Our internal data and public polling show the same thing: this remains a margin-of-error race in key battleground states,” O’Malley Dillon wrote.

“The movement we have seen, while real, is not a sea-change in the state of the race — while some of this movement was from undecided voters to Trump, much of the movement was driven by historically Democratic constituencies moving to undecided,” she added.

Meanwhile, Biden aides in the White House are beginning to pressure the octogenarian Democrat to exit the presidential race as well. On Thursday, the New York Times reported that senior aides have begun strategizing on how best to convince their boss that his disastrous June 27 debate performance was a fatal blow to his re-election hopes.

The most convincing indication that the Biden White House and re-election campaign may be reaching a late-Roman Empire style ‘Praetorian moment’ is a report that the campaign has begun quietly polling Vice President Kamala Harris against former President Trump.

Texas Republicans Colluding with Democrats to ‘Take Out’ MAGA AG Ken Paxton and End Fight Against Voter Fraud.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton says the “Republican establishment” is once again attempting to remove him from office, either by “cooperating with the Biden [government] to try to take me out with a federal case” or by resurrecting their failed impeachment efforts against him. The America First AG warns the Texas House General Investigative Committee, notionally under Republican control but “largely controlled by Democrats,” will “stop at nothing to remove me from office.”

“Just like Biden’s relentless attacks on President Trump, establishment Republicans in Texas have joined forces with Democrats to launch a full-scale lawfare assault against me,” Paxton writes in an official statement.

“These lame-duck Republicans, who lost their primaries thanks to my support, are now conspiring with Democrats… [T]hese weak-kneed, pro-open-border Republicans will work with the Democrats to replace me with an AG who will turn a blind eye to voter fraud,” Paxton explains.

Texas, this is a warning—they want to rig this election against Trump,” he continues, reiterating that the ultimate goal of the “Austin elite” is to install a new state attorney general who will “refuse to prosecute voter fraud.”

Paxton’s shambolic first impeachment unraveled thanks to readers of The National Pulse successfully lobbying Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick to force House impeachment managers to produce their “evidence” against Paxton.

Paxton was acquitted on all charges.
