The Biden Department of Justice (DOJ) has acknowledged the authenticity of Hunter Biden‘s infamous laptop, the contents of which were made public shortly before the 2020 presidential election. DOJ special counsel David Weiss is asking a federal judge to allow his legal team to use evidence contained on the laptop’s hard drive in their ongoing prosecution of Joe Biden’s son for tax fraud and gun charges. In addition, Weiss has asked the judge to bar Hunter Biden and his defense attorneys from questioning the veracity of the laptop’s contents.
While IRS whistleblower Gary Shapley has claimed federal investigators confirmed in 2019 that the laptop and its hard drive contents belonged to Hunter Biden, the motion by the DOJ special counsel marks the first public admission by federal government officials as to its authenticity.
KEY EVIDENCE FOR DOJ.
“The defendant has not offered any conspiracy theory, much less any evidence, regarding how or why Apple, Inc. produced manipulated data for his iPhone and iPad,” senior assistant special counsel Derek Hine wrote in a court filing on Wednesday. The federal prosecutor continued: “Second, the data from the laptop that the government is utilizing is not only self-authenticating, but it will be introduced with corroborating evidence at trial.”
“Any argument that suggests his laptop is not authentic would be inappropriate because there is no foundation for such questioning, and it risks creating juror confusion about the evidence actually at issue in this case,” Hines added before concluding: “The government requests that the Court grant the motion because the records are self-authenticating. The government further requests that the Court prohibit the defendant from suggesting that the electronic evidence is fabricated, manipulated, altered, or inauthentic because he has not offered any evidence supporting such a claim.”
THE REAL 2020 ELECTION INTERFERENCE.

Eventbrite, an event management and ticketing website, has been hosting thousands of listings selling illegaldrugs and escort services. An investigation by WIREDfound that the platform’s algorithm even suggested these illicit posts alongside addiction recovery events, raising concerns about its content moderation practices.
Among the addiction recovery events affected was Ryan’s Ride for Recovery. The annual event in Saugerties, New York, is organized by the Kelder family to honor their son, who died of a heroin overdose. Events like Ryan’s Ride and other listings promoting recovery initiatives appeared next to posts offering Xanax, Valium, oxycodone, and other pharmaceutical drugs without a prescription.
“It’s criminal,” Vince Kelder told WIRED. He added: “They’re preying on people trying to get their lives back together.”
On paper, Evebrite policies prohibit the sale of illegal substances on their platform. Nonetheless, WIRED uncovered over 7,400 event listings that seemed to violate their terms of service. These included offers for fentanyl powder, Social Security numbers, and various online services like Gmail accounts and social media likes. Many posts pushed users to untrustworthy online pharmacies, flagged by the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy.
Even more troubling, Eventbrite didn’t merely allow for the publication of illegal and illicit listings. The company’s algorithm actively promoted the availability of restricted pharmaceuticals, as well as illegal drugs and services. “Listings like these do not have a home on Eventbrite,” the tech company’s head of platform product, Chris Adams, said in a statement. Adams added: “This is a spam attack, coordinated by a few bad actors attempting to draw audiences to third-party sites.”

Mexican cartels are operating in all 50 states, flooding American cities with hard drugs and using violence to maintain control, according to a new U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) report.
The details:The DEA report found the extremely violent Jalisco and Sinaloa cartels are dominating the U.S. drug trade for meth and fentanyl, with thousands of cartel-linked foot soldiers operating within the 50 states. The report says:
“Together, the Sinaloa and Jalisco cartels have caused the worst drug crisis in U.S. history.”
The cartels have “effectively eliminated any competition in U.S. markets” and “dictate the flow of nearly all illicit drugs.”
The numbers: Nearly 38,000 fentanyl-related deaths occurred in the first half of 2023.
Recent busts: Last week, the DEA busted “Skittles Man” Roque Bustamante and six others in Florida for fentanyl distribution. It seized:

A Washington, D.C., Metropolitan Police Department captain who oversees the 4th District Station in the nation’s capital was shot in the head while commuting to work on Monday afternoon. The incident occurred as part of an apparent carjacking attempt around 12:10 PM in the area of 7th Street and Oneida Place Northwest, just five blocks from the police station.
According to D.C. police Chief Pamela Smith, the officer was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, with the gunshot wound reportedly being superficial. The D.C. Metropolitan Police Department engaged in a car chase of the suspects. Two individuals were taken into custody in Prince George’s County after crashing and rolling the car they occupied.
“The vehicle crashed, and two suspects were taken into custody,” Smith said following the incident. She added: “We are grateful that our officer has not sustained any life-threatening injuries. He is at an area hospital with his family and our family support team.”
The 4th District Station captain was not in uniform and was on his way to work in a personal vehicle when he noticed a car driving erratically. After following the vehicle, its occupants came to a stop, with one exiting and firing gunshots at the police captain. The captain got a partial plate before heading to his district station for help.

FBI data released Tuesday indicated a record high in assaults on U.S. law enforcement, with 79,000 attacks recorded last year, the highest in a decade. A total of 60 officers were killed last year, and the period from 2021 to 2023 saw more officer deaths than any other comparable period.
“There is no question that there is a war on cops in this country,” said Joe Gamaldi, vice president of the National Fraternal Order of Police. “There were 378 police officers shot last year. That is a record number since we started tracking the data in 2018. Shootings of police officers have increased by 60%.”
According to FBI data, the number of local, state, and federal officers injured as a result of gun violence is increasing, with guns identified as the leading cause of officer deaths, accounting for 52 percent of cases. The southern region of the U.S. witnessed more officer killings than any other region. A total of 466 officers were assaulted with guns in 2023, marking a record high for the decade — significantly higher than the under 200 assaults with firearms recorded in 2014.
The release of these alarming figures coincides with National Police Week, during which Attorney General Merrick Garland and other law enforcement leaders joined a vigil to honor fallen officers in Washington, D.C. Last month, four U.S. Marshals Service task force members were killed serving a warrant for gun charges.
The FBI says it is investing in efforts to uncover the underlying reasons behind these trends. However, observers may note that anti-law enforcement sentiment — and attacks against officers — rose significantly in the wake of the 2020 Black Lives Matter riots.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has confirmed that Melvin Jesus Aquino Enriquez, a Mexican illegal alien charged with causing grievous physical harm to a three-month-old child who later died, was previously deported from the U.S. under Donald Trump. The 26-year-old illegal alien is also accused of violently strangling the infant’s mother.
Aquino Enriquez, featured in The National Pulse’s most recent migrant crime round-up, is now confirmed to have been arrested for criminal trespass in Harris County, Texas, in March 2020. He was subject to an ICE detainer and eventually issued with a deportation order in September and repatriated to Mexico.
“On an unknown date and at an unknown location, Aquino illegally re-entered the U.S. On April 15, 2024, [Enforcement Removal Operations] Houston immigration officers encountered Aquino at the Montgomery County (Texas) Jail following his arrest for allegedly assaulting a woman and her infant child and an immigration detainer was lodged with the jail,” an ICE spokesman said, adding that the agency “mourns the tragic loss of this young life.”
Currently, Aquino Enriquez is charged with causing injury to a child and assault-family violence. However, further charges may be added following an autopsy to “further determine the circumstances leading to the untimely and devastating death of the child.”
Many illegal aliens who commit crimes in the U.S. prove to be people previously released by Border Patrol, previously deported, or previously arrested or even convicted of crimes on U.S. soil. These include Laken Riley’s suspected murderer, Jose Antonio Ibarra, who was wanted for shoplifting and skipping court when he allegedly killed the nursing student.
Nevertheless, Democrat Senators voted against the Laken Riley Act, which would have required illegal aliens responsible for thefts, burglary, larceny, or shoplifting to be detained until their deportation.

Pretrial plea deal negotiations between prosecutors and lawyers for Nicholas Roske, accused of plotting the murder of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, are in progress. The approach to Roske, whose target was a conservative justice, contrasts sharply with the approach to Paul DePape, convicted of attacking Nancy Pelosi’s husband with a hammer. Joe Biden’s Justice Department wants to imprison DePape, a Canadian in his mid-forties who has struggled with homelessness, drug abuse, and mental health issues, for 40 years.
Roske was arrested outside Kavanaugh’s Maryland home after taking a cab there armed with a Glock 17 pistol, tactical knife, crowbar, pepper spray, hammer, and zip ties, among other equipment. Roske was reportedly motivated by a leaked draft of the Supreme Court’s 2022 decision to overturn Roe v. Wade and return decisions over abortion to the states. He was also angered by a mass shooting in Uvalde, Texas, and hoped eliminating Kavanaugh might forestall Supreme Court rulings upholding the Second Amendment.
Roske’s charges include the attempted murder of a U.S. Justice, to which he has entered a not-guilty plea. A judge has delayed a long-awaited trial as “discussions regarding a pretrial resolution are ongoing,” according to court filings.
RADICALIZED.
The Joe Biden regime is accused of helping radicalize Roske. Prior to Roske’s arrival at Kavanaugh’s home, then-Press Secretary Jen Psaki — now an MSNBC host — initially refused to condemn activists posting justices’ addresses online and would not say whether Biden had “a view” on activists showing up at their houses. Later, she said Biden encouraged people to protest outside justices’ homes.
Nancy Pelosi, then still House Speaker, actively encouraged members of the public to pressure the justices over the Roe ruling. She also delayed legislation increasing justices’ security. Democratic Senate leader Chuck Schumer also said he was comfortable with pro-abortion activists showing up at justices’ homes to pressure them.

BABY BEATEN TO DEATH.
Twenty-six-year-old Melvin Jesus Aquino Enriquez has been arrested in Montgomery County, Texas, accused of inflicting a brutal month on a three-month-old baby. The infant was admitted to hospital but later died.
As of the time of publication, the authorities have released little information on Enriquez. His nationality and manner of entry have not been disclosed, and nor has his connection, if any, to the murdered child. He faces separate charges for strangling the baby’s mother, however.
While some media outlets have chosen to describe him as simply a “Montgomery County man,” other reports confirm he is an illegal alien subject to a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detainer request.
RELEASED TO TARGET CHILDREN.
Marvin Dionel Perez Lopez, a 20-year-old Guatemalan illegal, has been arrested for kidnapping an 11-year-old girl from the street in Lake Worth, Florida, and sexually assaulting her. Lopez crossed the southern border illegally in January and presented himself to Border Patrol, but was soon released and given a date to appear before an immigration judge — in 2027.
He is accused of snatching his alleged victim near her home and forcing her into a van, where he began to assault her. Her fate may have been even worse had the girl’s mother not noticed what was going on and rushed over to the vehicle, with the migrant fleeing on foot when she began banging on the door.
“Here’s a Guatemalan, who came into the country illegally, was stopped by the border people, released, and made his way to South Florida. And now he commits a crime where he held an 11-year-old girl against her will and sexually assaulted her,” lamented Sheriff Ric Bradshaw.
A FAMILY AFFAIR.
Josefina Cardona-Cardona has been arrested and faces deportation for attempting to hire a hitman to murder two witnesses against her son, Manuel Marcos Cardona, who was imprisoned for stabbing a teenager to death at a five-year-old’s birthday party in February.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office in Florida says Cardona-Cardona sought to “solicit someone to murder two cooperating witnesses in her son’s case.” However, the supposed assassins were undercover agents.
“Now, she faces two counts of Solicitation to Commit Murder and will be subject to deportation following the completion of her prosecution,” the office says.
She and Manuel Marcos Cardona’s father are said to have participated in a beating of the teenager he stabbed to death. She also attempted to flee the state with her son following the killing.

An unnamed Bangladeshi, aged 47, has been arrested by ICE in Litchfield, Connecticut. Connecticut State Police charged him with “multiple counts of commercial sex abuse, illegal sexual contact with a minor, fourth-degree sexual assault, risk of injury to child, and illegal sale of tobacco to a person under 21 years of age” in April, with ICE lodging an immigration detainer against him the same month.
“This unlawfully present individual allegedly brought harm to our Connecticut communities by sexually assaulting several children,” said a deportation officer.
‘SIGNIFICANT SAFETY THREAT.’
A 37-year-old Dominican was arrested by deportation officers in Providence, Rhode Island, after police charged him with two counts of first-degree child molestation, one count of second-degree child molestation, and one count of first-degree sexual assault.
The migrant “unlawfully entered the United States on [an] unknown date at an unknown location without being inspected, admitted or paroled by a U.S. immigration official,” making him a so-called “gotaway.”
“This unlawfully present Dominican national represents a significant safety threat, as he currently faces multiple felony child sexual assault charges,” said an ICE spokesman.
The charges were filed against the illegal in November 2023, but he was released and remained among the public until ICE took him into custody in April.
FUGITIVE RAPIST.
Jairo Arnoldo Matamoros Solorzano, a 47-year-old Costa Rican, has been removed to his native country, where he is wanted for sexual assault and rape.
He first fell foul of the authorities in March 2021, when the U.S. Coast Guard caught him with cocaine and marijuana at sea, resulting in his arrest for possession with intent to distribute. He was imprisoned by ICE and discovered to be wanted for sex crimes in Costa Rica after being transferred to ICE custody at the end of his sentence.
SHORT SENTENCE.
A 55-year-old Guatemalan illegal has been arrested by ICE in Providence, Rhode Island. He had been sentenced to 25 years in prison after being convicted locally of first-degree child sexual molestation/sexual assault in December 2022, but this was reduced to “six years with 19 years suspended.”
The illegal alien served nothing like six years in custody and was released in April, however, the Rhode Island Department of Corrections contacted ICE to facilitate his arrest by deportation officers. He has been in the U.S. since 2008.
‘NO MORE DISTURBING CRIME.’
Deportation officers have arrested another Guatemalan pedophile, aged 25, in Billerica, Massachusetts. He was arrested and arraigned on two counts of rape of a child and four counts of indecent assault and battery on a child under 14 years of age in 2021 and sentenced to just two years’ imprisonment in 2022.
“There is no more disturbing crime than sexual assault of a child,” said Todd M. Lyons, a field office director for ICE. “Those who are not lawfully present in this country and who are convicted of such disturbing crimes will be arrested and removed from our neighborhoods,” he claimed.
However, the sheer number of migrants convicted of crimes or facing criminal proceedings that ICE faces is overwhelming. Rep. Glenn Grothman, Chairman of the House National Security, Border, and Foreign Affairs Subcommittee, puts the number of illegal aliens known to ICE with criminal records or pending criminal charges at 617,000 — greater than the entire population of the State of Wyoming.

Black U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Roger Fortson was shot dead after an Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office deputy entered the wrong apartment, according to the lawyer representing the slain serviceman’s family.
“The circumstances surrounding Roger’s death raise serious questions that demand immediate answers from authorities, especially considering the alarming witness statement that the police entered the wrong apartment,” said Ben Crump, who has previously represented the families of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and Trayvon Martin.
However, the killing of Fortson, an active-duty serviceman, has so far received little attention from Black Lives Matter activists compared to the killing of George Floyd, a violent convict.
“We are calling for transparency in the investigation into Roger’s death… His family and the public deserve to know what occurred in the moments leading up to this tragedy,” Crump said in the statement.
A witness who was on a recorded Facetime call with Fortson at the time of the incident says he called “Who is it?” after the deputy, responding to reports of a disturbance, knocked at his door. Not hearing a response, he is said to have armed himself after another “aggressive knock.”
Bodycam footage shows Fortson answering his door in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, holding his legally owned handgun at his side. The deputy shoots him multiple times within moments before shouting, “Drop the gun!”
Riots over George Floyd’s death in 2020 spread nationwide rapidly, claiming the lives of at least 19 people within a fortnight. Protests also took place outside the United States in Canada, Britain, and even non-English-speaking countries like Belgium, with protestors attacking police and vandalizing public property, particularly statues of historic white men.

Recent data disclosed by Germany‘s Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA) suggests that foreign migrants are committing a disproportionately large number of violent crimes. The data, reported by German broadcaster NTV, reveals that foreign migrants, who account for just 14.6 percent of the country’s population, were implicated in 58.5 percent of all violent crimes in Germany. Furthermore, the BKA documented a 14.5 percent rise in violent crimes attributed to non-German suspects from the previous year.
The data also reveals migrant involvement in other crimes. For instance, suspected foreigners constitute 187,000 of the total 424,000 alleged thieves, over 40 percent. In addition, the rate of non-German suspects in general crimes increased by 17.8 percent in a single year to reach 923,269, nearly 50 percent of the total suspected criminals last year. However, these figures do not include those migrants who have since gained German citizenship or those of migrant heritage.
The high degree of criminal conduct linked to foreign migrants has created a substantial burden on Germany’s ability to integrate these groups. The increase in alien crimes has prompted a response, with the German government promising to escalate the deportation of foreign offenders. Reflecting the growing dissatisfaction, the Christian Social Union party’s Andrea Lindholz said Germany is reaching its “limit” in its “ability to integrate” migrants.
German citizens increasingly disapprove of mass migration despite frequent criticism from the establishment. The anti-immigration, national populist Alternative für Deutschland (AfD) party has been surging in the polls and is expected to see significant gains in the upcoming European elections.
