Rachel Maddow Fears Trump Will Send Her To A Detention Camp.

In a recent interview with CNN, MSNBC host Rachel Maddow feigned concerns about former President Donald J. Trump‘s potential actions if he is reelected in November. Maddow claimed she fears Trump could implement detention facilities not only for illegal immigrants but also for those he views as disloyal or disagreeable—including herself.

Maddow’s assertions arise from Trump’s comments in May, where he did not rule out the construction of detention facilities for illegal immigrants as part of his proposed increased deportation efforts.  However, Maddow extrapolated these remarks to a broader—and unfounded—concern. “I’m worried about the country broadly if we put someone in power who is openly avowing that he plans to build camps to hold millions of people, and to ‘root out’ what he’s described in subhuman terms as his ‘enemy from within’,” she told CNN‘s Reliable Sources newsletter.

The MSNBC host inferred that such facilities might not be limited to illegal immigrants, posing a potential threat to various left-wing media figures, activists, and Democrat lawmakers who pushed an unprecedented lawfare campaign against the former Republican president.

When asked if she felt personally targeted for being a prominent critic of Trump on television, Maddow acknowledged a sense of vulnerability. Maddow accused those who believe Trump would only target illegal immigrants of having a “little bit of head-in-the-sand complacency”. She suggested that some political figures might be trying to align themselves with Trump to ensure their safety.

CNN Layoffs Loom As Network Inks Deal With Associated Press.

The consolidation of the corporate media entities continues apace, with CNN set to feature Associated Press (AP) content on its website for the first time in nearly 15 years. CNN staffers fret that the move, pushed by the network’s CEO Mark Thompson, is a prelude to layoffs as the corporate news organization moves away from original reporting.

The CNN-AP deal is the latest in a line of schemes to revive the network’s collapsing audience. In late May, it was revealed the network logged its lowest primetime ratings since 1991. According to Nielsen data, the network’s 8 PM to 11 PM programming from May 13 through May 19 attracted only 83,000 viewers among the coveted demographic of 25-to 54-year-olds.

Since taking over the corporate news network late last year, Mark Thompson has bounced between cost-cutting measures and revenue schemes seemingly aimed to accelerate CNN’s descent into irrelevance. The National Pulse reported in January of this year that the network is considering ways to make people pay to watch news clips on their cell phones as people increasingly turn away from cable news. In February, Thompson announced drastic cuts to staff salaries, including some of their top newsroom talents.

MEDIA MONOPOLIES.

While CNN’s content deal with the AP is unlikely to push the audience needle in the network’s favor, the move does highlight an ongoing concern regarding consolidation in American media. As media ownership becomes increasingly concentrated, the political bias of the corporate media will likely become more amplified—as will their ability to censor conservative and populist voices. Even more concerning, local and independent outlets are not immune from the Democrat’s media monopoly.

Billionaire globalist George Soros is trying to gain a controlling interest in Audacy, America’s second-largest radio broadcaster. A successful takeover would give Soros a 40 percent stake in the financially distressed company’s senior debt. This sizable stake could grant him significant control over the company as it resurfaces from bankruptcy.

In addition to the Audacy play, Soros has invested millions in buying Hispanic radio news stations and popular podcast platforms. In addition to the Soros investments, Democrat dark money groups like Arabella Advisors have also jumped into the media game, making significant investments in state and local newspapers and radio ahead of the 2024 presidential election.

Hunter

The 51 ‘Intel Officials’ Who Called Hunter’s Hard Drive ‘Russia DisInfo’ Still Won’t Apologize, Despite The Laptop Being Authenticated by Biden’s Own DOJ.

Intelligence officials who signed a pre-election letter in 2020 alleging that Hunter Biden’s “laptop from hell” scandal had “all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation” are standing by their claims, despite the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and Department of Justice (DOJ) confirming the device is authentic.

All 51 signatories have been contacted about the letter, but none have recanted. James Clapper, Barack Obama’s Director of National Intelligence, said “No” when asked if he regretted signing the letter, refusing to remove his name or accept he should have waited for more information before branding the laptop Russian disinformation.

Attorney Mark Zaid, representing several signatories, defended the letter, claiming that “even today its content is accurate.”

“It served as nothing more than a warning letter of what we have known for decades: certain foreign governments—including Russia—continue to try and actively interfere in our domestic affairs and our guard must remain vigilant. Every patriotic American should have signed that letter,” he insisted, despite the fact the laptop was not, in fact, a Russian hoax.

Zaid has ties to “many prominent ‘never Trump’ advocates” who claim they are considering fleeing the country if Donald Trump is reelected.

‘OLD NEWS.’

Greg Treverton, a former National Intelligence Council chair, tried to dismiss the letter as “very old news” and also insisted that “What we said was true, we were inferring from our experience, and it did look like a Russian operation.”

“We didn’t, and couldn’t of course say it was a Russian operation,” he added disingenuously.

The laptop letter was laundered through Natasha Bertrand, a then-POLITICO correspondent used by the “intelligence community” to plant stories in the media since her mid-twenties. The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) was involved in “fast-tracking” the letter, initiated by Joe Biden staffer Antony Blinken, now Secretary of State.

WATCH: MSNBC Guest’s Racial Tirade Against Clarence Thomas, Black Republicans.

On Thursday, MSNBC host Joy Reid laughed as guest Elie Mystal, justice correspondent for The Nation, delivered a racially charged rant targeting Supreme Court Associate Justice Clarence Thomas and other black conservatives. During a segment, Reid referred to a report from Fix the Court, alleging that Thomas has received over $4 million in gifts during his Supreme Court tenure.

Mystal claimed that Justice Thomas, along with Senator Tim Scott (R-SC), Representative Byron Donalds (R-FL), and conservative commentator Candace Owens, held their views for monetary gain. “What they’re getting is what Byron Donalds wants. What they’re getting is Jim Crow,” Mystal said. The far-left writer for The Nation added: “What they’re getting is a guy like Clarence Thomas who, like Byron Donalds, believes that as long as [black people] don’t face extreme violence, they can rise above.”

Mystal continued, stating, “If you’re black and you tell white people that, they will give you money.” He claimed that Thomas had been rewarded for echoing the sentiments that white donors wanted to hear. According to Mystal, the Supreme Court Justice received significantly more in gifts compared to his colleagues, with the report suggesting $4 million in gifts over 20 years, while Justice Samuel Alito and the late Justice Antonin Scalia reportedly received around $200,000 each.

Donalds, considered a potential vice-presidential candidate for former President Donald J. Trump, had earlier on Thursday clashed with Reid regarding marital rates in black families. In response to Mystal’s remarks, which ended with a claim that black conservatives profit by reinforcing certain views, Reid commented, “It’s wild,” while shaking her head.

Mystal concluded by asserting that conservative black figures like Scott, Donalds, and Owens exist because “the grift is good.”

Joe Rogan Says People Born Abroad Should Be Able to Be U.S. President.

Podcast host Joe Rogan has argued that banning foreign-born citizens from becoming U.S. President is “Viking s**t,” and that Nigerians and Saudi Arabians should be able to serve as Commander-in-Chief as long as they think “America’s the s**t.”

“I’m one of those people that I don’t give a f**k where you’re born, as long as you’re not actually an undercover terrorist, you know?” Rogan said on a recent episode of The Joe Rogan Experience.

“If you’re, like, clearly a regular person that just happened to be born in Nigeria or happened to be born in Saudi Arabia, but now you’re here… You went to school here, you have friends here, you got family here, you love it here, [you think] America’s the s**t—you can be President,” he argued.

“Like, I don’t really think that you have to be born on a certain patch of dirt to run it. That seems like Viking shit. That seems like, that seems so old; that seems so dumb,” he concluded.

Article II Section 1 of the U.S. Constitution asserts: “No person except a natural born citizen, or a citizen of the United States, at the time of the adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the office of President; neither shall any person be eligible to that office who shall not have attained to the age of thirty five years, and been fourteen Years a resident within the United States.”

‘A TRUMP CHARACTER DOES MAKE A DIFFERENCE.’

Rogan had been discussing the U.S. elections with Tony Hinchcliffe of the KillTony comedy podcast. The UFC commentator described the “30-second standing ovation” Trump received at a recent UFC event and joked about the former president being endorsed by “so many rappers” following his sham conviction in Manhattan.

Rogan said the Democrats and the Republicans often seem like “the same structure with a different face,” but that “a Trump character does make a difference… because he truly does not give a f**k, and especially now, after all they’ve done to him; all the things he’s survived.”

He arrived at the topic of presidential birthplace requirements after recalling Trump was “beloved, beloved, until he was about 70 years old” and ran for office, though he was “a little bit mocked” during the Barack Obama administration for questioning whether or not the Democrat was born in the United States.

WaPo Chides Its Own Retired Reporters for Failing to Harass Justice Alito.

The Washington Post has published a lengthy article berating former Supreme Court reporter Robert Barnes for doing his due diligence and declining to report the Alito flag hoax as if it was a legitimate news story, robbing the newspaper of a “precious exclusive.”

Barnes, now retired, was aware of Justice Samuel Alito’s wife flying a U.S. flag upside down in 2021—an incident being pushed as earth-shattering news years after the fact as the corporate media attempts to influence Supreme Court rulings on Donald Trump and January 6 defendants. Instead of rushing to report the display as proof the Alitos supported the ‘Stop the Steal’ movement, as the corporate media are doing today, Barnes actually did his job, discovering it was the result of a neighbor dispute.

WaPo media critic Erik Wemple is now blasting Barnes and his editors for not running the story, eventually published by The New York Times, regardless of the facts, complaining, “The Alitos received deference to which they were not entitled.”

FACTS (DON’T) MATTER.

Wemple reached this conclusion despite Barnes telling him “We determined that it wasn’t the justice that flew the flag upside down and we determined it wasn’t a protest about the election or something else on the part of Mrs. Alito.” Barnes told Wemple he corroborated this based on Martha-Ann Alito’s “actions when I saw her and what others in the neighborhood had told me.”

Mrs. Alito flew the upside-down flag in response to some of their neighbors putting up crass signs reading “F**k Trump,” “Trump Is a Fascist,” and—addressing the Alitos—’You Are Complicit.’ Wemple fumed Barnes had not gone to the couple for their side of the story, though they have never denied erecting the signs.

Wemple also acknowledges upside-down flags were not closely associated with ‘Stop the Steal’ at the time of the incident, and that contemporary managing editor Cameron Barr said the decision not to a run a story was a matter of “consensus.”

The BBC Has Spent £3,000,000 of Public Cash Investigating Its Own Staff for Sex Offenses.

The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) has incurred over £3.1 million (almost $4M) in costs related to investigating alleged misconduct by former DJ Tim Westwood. A former BBC Radio 1 and BBC 1Xtra DJ, Westwood, denied engaging in any wrongdoing, stating: “It’s all false allegations.”

The review, launched in August 2022, is scrutinizing the BBC’s knowledge of and response to complaints and concerns regarding Westwood’s behavior during his two-decade tenure. Investigators have reviewed over 50,000 documents, including both oral and written testimony.

Led by Gemma White KC, the inquiry aims to address claims from several women accusing Westwood of predatory and unwanted sexual behavior between 1992 and 2017. Some allegations include incidents with women under 18, with one woman stating she was 14 when she first had sex with the DJ. The Metropolitan Police have interviewed Westwood four times in connection with the allegations. Though Westwood has been interviewed under caution, no arrests have been made.

The BBC’s external review, initially expected to conclude in six months, remains ongoing. Ms. White announced a call for evidence in October 2022, and the review team was later joined by safeguarding expert Jahnine Davis. Despite the extended timeline, White emphasized the necessity for thorough document examination and information gathering.

A confidential hotline was launched for a few weeks in April 2023 to assist with the review. The BBC says it intends to ensure a comprehensive understanding of what was known about Westwood’s conduct during his employment. Westwood stepped down from his show on Capital Xtra in April 2022 but continues to perform at various venues nationwide. In light of the allegations, some campaigners have urged nightclubs to avoid hosting him.

Slovak PM Says Soros Encouraged The Assassination Attempt On Him.

Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico, who survived multiple gunshot wounds on May 15, has issued his first public address since the assassination attempt. In a 14-minute video posted on Wednesday, just before a moratorium on electioneering ahead of the European elections, the populist leader said he felt “no hatred towards the stranger who shot me,” saying he was “only a messenger of evil and political hatred, which the politically unsuccessful and frustrated opposition developed in Slovakia to unmanageable proportions.”

Fico, an ally of Hungarian leader Viktor Orban, is opposed to mass migration and the Western proxy war with Russia in Ukraine. He accused globalist opposition politicians, “foreign-funded political non-governmental organizations,” and corporate media outlets “co-owned by the financial structure of George Soros” of encouraging his attempted assassination by fomenting a poisonous political atmosphere.

“I fundamentally disagree with the single-correct-opinion policy that some major Western democracies are aggressively promoting today,” Fico said. He argued the EU and NATO have “literally sanctified the concept of the single correct opinion” on Ukraine, “namely that the war in Ukraine must continue at any cost in order to weaken the Russian Federation.”

Anyone who disagrees, he complained, is “immediately labeled as a Russian agent.”

Fico recalled charting an independent path for Slovakia during previous terms in office, for example, by refusing to assist the Bill Clinton-led NATO bombing of Serbia and withdrawing Slovak soldiers from Iraq. Now, he argued, “the right to a different opinion has ceased to exist in the EU.”

Michal Šimečka, chairman of the Progressive Slovakia opposition party, has already complained about Fico’s speech, saying he should have promoted social reconciliation. Another opposition leader said Fico, by calling out the globalists who facilitated his shooting, is the one promoting political division.

The WaPo ‘Shake-Up’ is Linked to the British Phone Hacking Scandal.

Sally Buzbee, the executive editor of The Washington Post, resigned abruptly on Sunday. Her departure comes after weeks of escalating tension with the company’s chief executive, Will Lewis.

The friction between Buzbee and Lewis reached a peak in mid-May. Sources say they argued over an article about a British hacking scandal involving Prince Harry and other plaintiffs, which implicated some of Rupert Murdoch’s tabloids.

Buzbee had informed Lewis that the WaPo newsroom intended to cover a judge’s upcoming ruling in this long-running legal battle. As part of the expected ruling, the judge could have allowed the plaintiffs to add Lewis’s name to a list of executives accused of concealing evidence of hacking at the newspapers.

Lewis argued that the case did not merit coverage and expressed this to Buzbee. Despite his objections, Buzbee decided to move forward with the article. The judge ruled on May 21 that Lewis could indeed be added to the case. Buzbee published the article as planned.

Lewis was already unhappy with WaPo, telling staff on Monday: “We are losing large amounts of money. Your audience has halved in recent years. People are not reading your stuff. I can’t sugarcoat it anymore.” However, the newspaper’s delusional team simply started complaining about “four white men running three newsrooms” and wondering if a “woman of color” would be chosen to replace Buzbee.

Lewis has installed Matt Murray, former Editor-in-Chief of the Wall Street Journal, for the time being, and brought on British investigative reporter Robert Winnett, of The Telegraph Media Group, to oversee core coverage.

WATCH: Capitol Cop Karen Melts Down After Reporter Mocks Adam Schiff.

Real America’s Voice reporter and avid Trump supporter Ben Bergquam ran into the politicized Capitol Police on Wednesday after he spoke with Rep. Adam Schiff about his peddling of the long-debunked Russia hoax.

Bergquam, a regular on the Hill, as well as outside the Manhattan courthouse and at Trump rallies, spotted “pencil neck” Schiff speaking to members of the public in the publicly accessible areas of the U.S. Capitol.

Sporting a MAGA hat, Bergquam politely let Schiff know his thoughts, which appeared to anger a Capitol police officer. Critics have recently alleged that Democrats have turned Capitol Police into their personal Stasi – a claim only bolstered by today’s incident.
