Tim Walz Appointee Says ‘Irreversibly Racist’ U.S. Must Be ‘Overthrown.’

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz appointed Macalester College Professor Brian Lozenski, who believes the U.S. is “irreversibly racist” and should be “overthrown,” to develop a new “ethnic studies” curriculum in the North Star state. During a Zoom call in the Spring of 2022, Lozenski described himself as a critical race theorist, stating that critical race theory (CRT) is anti-America and is intended to dismantle the country.

“The first tenet of Critical Race Theory is that the United States as constructed is irreversibly racist. So, if the nation-state as constructed is irreversibly racist, then it must be done [away] with; it must be overthrown,” Lozenski said.

“[W]e can’t be like, ‘Oh, no, Critical Race Theory is just about telling our stories and diversity’—it’s not about that. It’s about overthrow; it’s insurgent,” he reiterated, adding that while CRT‘s critics “don’t understand” it, they “actually tell some truth” when they characterize it as “anti-state.”

“You can’t be a critical race theorist and be pro-U.S.,” he explained. “[I]t says the United States needs to be deconstructed, period.”

Lozenski was appointed to Governor Walz’s state education department to help devise a statewide “implementation framework” for “ethnic studies,” which is being incorporated into social studies standards alongside teaching on citizenship, economics, history, and related subjects.

Governor Walz, facing mounting pressure over Lozenski’s appointment, is preparing for a vice-presidential debate with Senator J.D. Vance (R-OH) on Tuesday. Education, particularly declining student performance in Minnesota under Walz, is likely to be among the issues the would-be vice presidents discuss.

Pro-Life Activists Sentenced for Abortion Clinic Protest.

A federal court handed prison sentences to two pro-life activists last week for protesting outside a Tennessee abortion clinic in 2021. They faced charges including “conspiracy against rights” and infringing the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act, which the U.S. Justice Department says “prohibits threats of force, obstruction, and property damage intended to interfere with reproductive health care services.” An 89-year-old activist received three years of probation.

U.S. District Judge Aleta Trauger sentenced Chester Gallagher to 16 months in prison on September 27. Heather Idoni received an eight-month prison term from Judge Trauger, which will run concurrently with a two-year sentence she is already serving for similar charges related to a 2020 protest in Washington, D.C. U.S. Magistrate Judge Jeffery S. Frensley sentenced Eva Edl, 89, to probation on September 26.

Steve Crampton, an attorney from the Thomas More Society representing Calvin Vaughn, who was sentenced in July for his involvement in the Tennessee protest, said it was “a peaceful demonstration by entirely peaceable citizens—filled with prayer, hymn-singing, and worship—oriented toward persuading expectant mothers not to abort their babies.”

In addition to their Tennessee convictions, Edl, Gallagher, Idoni, and another activist, Paul Zastrow, face separate charges under the FACE Act for a protest in Michigan. Edl faces up to 11 years in prison for the Michigan charges.

Bug-Eating Tribe Who Fought AGAINST U.S. Independence Gains 1,000 Acres of ‘Ancestral Land’ in NY.

The Onondaga Nation has taken control of 1,000 acres of what it claims is its ancestral land in upstate New York. This newly transferred land lies to the south of Syracuse, near the Native American tribe’s historic stomping grounds, and includes the headwaters of Onondaga Creek. Honeywell International facilitated the transfer as part of a federal Superfund settlement addressing environmental contamination.

This acquisition is just “the first 1,000 acres of the 2.5 million acres of treaty-guaranteed land taken from us over the centuries,” according to Sid Hill, the chief, or Tadodaho, of the Onondaga Nation. Meanwhile, the Onondaga Nation claims their lost lands were unjustly seized by the state starting in 1788 through actions that violated treaties and federal law.

The Onondaga actually fought against American colonists during the War of Independence, which led to General George Washington’s order to destroy them. The group sustained itself by eating cicadas, whose appearance they deemed as miraculous. The tribe still consumes these bugs today.

There are believed to be around 1,500 Onondaga in America, though they claim they are not U.S. citizens and, therefore, do not participate in censuses.

Despite setbacks in U.S. courts, the Onondaga Nation has taken its case to the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights, associated with the Organization of American States. The claim involves a strip of land approximately 40 miles wide, extending from Canada to Pennsylvania through upstate New York. Consequently, the Onondagas aim for this international venue to spur negotiations that might lead to the return of more land.

The Democratic Party’s 2024 platform begins with a so-called “land acknowledgment,” which “recognize[s] that our country was built on Indigenous homelands.”

CNN Has Found a Way to Shrink Its Audience Even More.

CNN is introducing a paywall that will limit access to its online content unless people pay a fee. The corporate news network, which has struggled to meet revenue expectations, will require a $3.99 monthly subscription to view unlimited content on its website. An ill-fated attempt at launching a subscription-based streaming service, CNN+, helped precipitate the firing of the network’s prior CEO, Chris Licht, after just over a year on the job in 2023. CNN+ lasted just 30 days before being abandoned.

According to Alex MacCallum, CNN’s executive vice president of digital products and services, non-subscribers will have access to only a limited number of free articles before being prompted to subscribe.

The National Pulse reported in May that the corporate news network was seeing its lowest ratings in 30 years. Audiences appear to have largely abandoned CNN due to its lack of coherent programming and political bias.

In July, CNN media correspondent Hadas Gold acknowledged that reporters failed to cover President Joe Biden’s declining cognitive state out of fear that it would help the 2024 Republican presidential nominee, former President Donald J. Trump.

Meanwhile, the current CNN CEO, Mark Thompson, has pushed layoffs and investment in artificial intelligence (AI) automation to cut costs. In July, Thompson said he also envisionedsubscription service that would generate over $1 billion in revenue. Additionally, the corporate media network inked a deal to carry content licensed from the Associated Press, resulting in further cuts to its own newsroom.

Tim Walz’s Minnesota Swears in First Non-Citizen Cops, Including Hijab-Clad Somali Muslim.

The most populous city in Minnesota, controlled by Democratic vice presidential hopeful Governor Tim Walz, has sworn in its first non-U.S. citizen police officer. Lesly Vera, who was born in Mexico, took the oath of office in Minneapolis last week.

The move follows a policy change by the Minnesota Board of Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) in 2023, eliminating the citizenship prerequisite for law enforcement candidates. Under the new guidelines, candidates only need to be residents authorized to work in the U.S.

“Our 23 new officers include the first Somali-American woman to join the department and the first permanent resident. A police service that looks like our residents is better able to serve our residents, and I couldn’t be more proud of the department we’re building under Chief O’Hara,” Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey said.

Elon Musk, CEO of X, expressed concerns about the move, noting the Roman Empire’s reliance on noncitizens in its military prior to its collapse.

Similar initiatives to put migrants in police uniforms are underway across the country. In the U.S. capital of Washington D.C., foreign nationals can even receive $25,000 signing bonuses.

Noncitizens can also run U.S. elections—despite technically being banned from voting in them—including Kelly Wong, a Chinese citizen appointed to the San Francisco Elections Commission.

Abortion Ballot Measure Would Also Establish Noncitizen Voting Rights.

A broadly worded New York state ballot measure could enshrine voting rights in the state constitution for noncitizens even though it is ostensibly aimed at protecting abortions. Proposition 1, known as the Equal Rights Amendment, would guarantee the right to abortion in the state constitution. However, there is mounting concern the measure’s broad anti-discrimination provision could lead to significant unintended consequences.

The proposed amendment states, “No person shall be denied the equal protection of the laws of this state,” and lists protections regardless of “race, color, ethnicity, national origin, age, disability, creed [or], religion, or sex, including sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, pregnancy, pregnancy outcomes, and reproductive healthcare and autonomy.” According to critics, the inclusion of “national origin” could extend protections and potentially voting rights to noncitizens, including illegal immigrants.

Westchester County-based constitutional lawyer Bobbi Anne Cox, who is spearheading a campaign opposed to Proposition 1, argues the anti-discrimination amendment is so broadly worded that it equates noncitizens with citizens in terms of legal protections.

“It covers anybody. That includes people who came here illegally and broke our laws,” she emphasized, suggesting it is a “Trojan horse of epic proportions.”

Additionally, Cox notes the measure could result in taxpayers having to cover even more services for illegal immigrants than they already are—further ballooning state and local budgets.

Republican pollster John McLaughlin agrees with Cox, suggesting that voter support for Prop 1 decreases when they learn of its broader implications, said to include allowing transgenders to compete in women’s sports and share female locker rooms. He described the ballot measure as a “radical wish list.”

Soros Allies Mull InfoWars Purchase.

A Houston judge has ruled that the media company Free Speech Systems, the parent company of InfoWars, can be liquidated through an auction to settle nearly $1.5 billion in damages owed to the families of victims of the 2012 Sandy Hook shooting. Courts in Connecticut and Texas ordered the damages as punitive relief over Alex Jones, the host of InfoWars, claiming the shooting was a hoax.

The auction is drawing interest from Angelo Carusone, president of the George Soros-funded Media Matters for America. Carusone notes the potential value of InfoWars archives, suggesting they might hold unreleased material Media Matters can exploit. Such an acquisition would delight left-liberals, who despise Jones.

Jeff Rotkoff, publisher of the Texas-focused digital publication The Barbed Wire and Texas state director of Democrat super PAC Forward Majority, is also showing interest. “We started The Barbed Wire in part to disrupt the constant stream of conspiracies and disinformation from people like Alex Jones and Joe Rogan, and it would be a step towards justice to use the InfoWars brand to undo some of the damage they’ve caused,” Rotkoff suggests.

The fine imposed on Jones dwarfs many high-profile criminal fines. For instance, ExxonMobil Corporation only received a $125 million penalty for the Exxon Valdez oil disaster.

Jones believes the judgment is political and intended to ruin him and his company. Secret recordings of former Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) employee and Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) contractor Gavin O’Blennis suggest the FBI influenced the Sandy Hook families to “chop [Jones’s] legs off” financially.

BREAKING: Iranian Ballistic Missiles Rain Down on Israel.

Iran has launched a significant ballistic missile strike on Israel, with hundreds of projectiles launched into the Jewish state as the war in the region further escalates under the Biden-Harris government’s oversight. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the nation, warning of “challenging times” as the country battles what he termed “Iran’s axis of evil.”

The Iranian offensive is believed to have used advanced ballistic missiles capable of reaching Israel in fewer than 15 minutes.

Despite Israel’s advanced air defense system, there are concerns that a combination of ballistic missiles, drones, as well as cruise missiles from Iran could overwhelm the infamous Iron Dome as well as other defenses.

High-ranking Iranian officials have vowed a severe response to the recent Israeli assassination of Hezbollah leader Hasan Nasrallah, warning of the “destruction of the Zionist regime.”

The Pentagon has increased the number of American warplanes in the region. Additionally, the Abraham Lincoln and USS Harry S. Truman aircraft carriers are present, providing naval strength.

Meanwhile, a terror attack – believed to be a shooting – has left four dead in Jaffa, near Tel Aviv.

Israeli Airstrike Hits Building Near Iranian Embassy.

On Tuesday, an Israeli airstrike targeted a residential structure near Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, close to the Iranian Embassy. The airstrike resulted in significant damage to the building and caused windows in the surrounding area to shatter.

The incident occurred on the southern route leading to Beirut’s international airport, impacting an apartment within the building. The Iranian Embassy is approximately 100 meters from the point of impact.

Authorities have yet to disclose the extent of any potential casualties or injuries resulting from the strike. The Lebanese government has not issued an immediate response on the matter.

This airstrike marks the latest development in heightened tensions between Israel, Lebanon-based Hezbollah, and its backers in Iran over recent months. The Israelis killed Hezbollah’s leader, Hassan Nasrallah, in a strike on Beirut on Friday and plan to launch a limited ground invasion of Lebanon to root out Hezbollah militants near their northern border.

BREAKING: Taylor Lorenz Out at Washington Post After Calling Biden a ‘War Criminal.’

Blogger Taylor Lorenz has left the Washington Post several weeks after she posted an Instagram story that showed her attending a Joe Biden speech at the White House with the caption “war criminal :(.”

Lorenz’s departure is being billed as her opportunity to become an internet “content creator” more than a traditional news reporter. She is starting a Substack called “User Magazine,” where she says she will discuss social media from a user perspective.

Lorenz is a 40+-year-old New Yorker who often attempts to ingratiate herself within the culture of much younger, often sub-20-year-olds online. She gained notoriety by doxxing the Libs of TikTok account, which made fun of far-left activists by using their own clips on social media.

Lorenz claims to have post-traumatic stress disorder from online “harassment” and continues to wear a COVID-era face mask, often outdoors.

Before her tenure at the Post, Lorenz covered internet culture for the New York Times and the far-left Daily Beast. She also hosts a podcast called Power User for Vox Media.
