DeSantis Chief: ‘We’ll Have As Many Restarts As Trump Has Indictments’.

Jeff Roe, chief strategist at the pro-DeSantis SuperPAC Never Back Down, bizarrely mocked former President Donald Trump for his pursuit by President Biden’s weaponized Department of Justice, appearing on CBS news to gloat: “Well, I guess we’ll have as many restarts as they have indictments… I guess is how that will go.”

His comments came after he was pressed on how badly his campaign was doing, and asked how many more “resets” they were going to have.

Roe’s comments are sure to alienate even more supporters of former President Trump, as well as leave DeSantis donors scratching their heads wondering why they bother with such a nasty and dysfunctional campaign.

Over the past several weeks, the DeSantis campaign has had several major staff shake ups: including the demotion of campaign manger Generra Peck – replacing her with 35 year old James Uthmeier, said to be merely a proxy for Roe – as well as hiring Jeb Bush ally, and NeverTrumper Jose Oliva as a senior advisor and spokesman. Prior to that shake-up, the DeSantis campaign fired the Governor’s speech writer for creating a campaign backed social media video that featured Nazi imagery.

Meanwhile, Roe’s behavior has become increasingly erratic, culminating in an August 10th social media meltdown wherein Roe offered corporate media outlet Puck $11 million to stop writing stories about him.

The apparent chaos within both the Never Back Down PAC and the DeSantis campaign may explain, in part, the continued decline in support the Florida Governor has seen in recent polling. Multiple national and state primary polls now show DeSantis falling from second place to third – and in one poll even fourth – place. Both the FiveThirtyEight and the RealClearPolitics polling averages show a steady decline in support for Governor DeSantis since he officially announced his campaign for the Republican presidential nomination

CDC: Vax May Not Protect Against New COVID Variant.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has admitted the COVID-19 vaccines do not prevent the transmission of the latest coronavirus variant, called BA.2.86 or “Pirola,” despite a growing number of medical professionals encouraging the public to get vaccinated once again.

The CDC said on Wednesday the Pirola variant may be transmitted to the vaccinated and those with natural immunity as it has 36 significant changes in its genetic makeup that set it apart from previous variants, such as Delta or Omicron. The variant has so far been detected in the United States, Denmark, the United Kingdom, and Israel.

This, however, has not stopped leading health practitioners such as Dr. Jayne Morgan, the executive director of Health and Community Education at Piedmont Healthcare, from claiming that getting vaccinated is vital to protect oneself against the new variants while also encouraging the public to wear masks, limit social interactions, and wash their hands regularly.

The COVID-19 vaccine failed to prevent the transmission of the previous coronavirus variants despite the initial claims of the CDC. The German Robert Koch Institute, for example, found that 80 percent of confirmed cases of omicron were among the vaccinated. Another study from the New England Journal of Medicine also found that the unvaccinated were contagious for a shorter time compared to those vaccinated or boosted.

Psaki Claims: ‘No One Supports Abortion Until Birth’ Despite Democrat States Legalizing It.

White House Press Secretary turned MSNBC talking head Jen Psaki blatantly lied on Wednesday, during the Republican debate, claiming: “No one supports abortion up until birth”. The X (formerly Twitter) post came despite multiple Democrat politicians being on the record as supporting “no limits” on terminations, and multiple Democrat states moving to legislate on the same time frame.

Senior politicians including Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, New Mexico Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham, Senator John Fetterman, Senator Bernie Sanders, Senator Ben Cardin, and New York City Mayor Eric Adams have all told reporters the decision to kill an unborn baby should be left up to the mother, perhaps with input from a physician, throughout pregnancy.

There is already no “gestational limit” on abortion in the Democrat-run American capital of Washington D.C. and the Democrat-run states of Colorado, New Jersey, Oregon, and Vermont also allow abortion up to birth.

Democrat-run New Mexico, meanwhile, has no abortion limit at the state level but some restrictions in some areas, introduced by “sanctuary cities for the unborn”.

Alaska, which is run by the Republicans, also has no abortion limit, due to the State Supreme Court ruling that restrictions violated the right to privacy in the 1990s.

As White House Press Secretary, Psaki herself said that Biden “supports the right of a woman to make choices about her own body” when asked if the President supports “any limits on abortion.”

Trump Tucker ‘X’ Interview Nears 250M Views.

Former President Donald Trump’s interview with Tucker Carlson has so far received over 200 million views on X (formerly Twitter) within the first day of its release, generating far greater engagement and interest among the American electorate than the first Republican primary debate hosted by Fox News.

The interview has also received a staggering 200,000 reposts and more than 650,000 likes so far. The former President mocked the debate’s viewership without him, telling Carlson: “We’ll get bigger ratings using this crazy forum that you’re using than probably the debate, our competition.”

The 46-minute conversation between the two addressed a number of issues, including the death of Jeffrey Epstein, Bill Barr’s weakness, and whether the former President fears for his safety. The pair talked January 6th and the 2020 presidential election, as well as keeping the FBI and CIA under control, and of course Biden’s incompetence.

Even X owner Elon Musk jumped into the discussion, responding to the post: “Interesting to hear things directly vs through the media filter.”

The interview was released the night before Trump is due to report to the Fulton County jail following his latest criminal indictment for alleged election interference.

London Mayor Sadiq Khan Ratioed for Post on UK Slavery.

Far-left London Mayor Sadiq Khan has been ratioed on X (formerly Twitter) after suggesting Britain’s participation in the Transatlantic slave trade is “shameful,” while neglecting to mention how the nation was also responsible for the trade’s abolition almost two hundred years ago.

Khan’s post, which read, “The International Day for the Remembrance of the Slave Trade and its Abolition is a reminder that we must all learn about this shameful chapter in our history and recognise how its legacy lives on today,” was viewed just under 550,000 times on X, but failed to gain more than 86 reposts and around 352 likes. The Mayor of London also limited the number of people who were able to respond to the post.

He went on to claim: “Through transformative education about the past, we can help empower people to stand up for their rights today.” This post did not fare better as it was reposted just 26 times and got less than 100 likes, despite receiving almost 40,000 views.

The Mayor of London did not mention that Britain emancipated more than 800,000 slaves throughout its Empire after passing the 1833 Abolition of Slavery Act, nor did he highlight that the British government reallocated much of the Navy’s annual expenditure – then, the largest and most powerful in the world – in order to patrol the Atlantic to enforce the abolition, capturing and releasing around 200,000 enslaved Africans headed for North America for decades following the 1833 act, and sacrificing as many as 5,000 British lives.

Khan was heavily criticized over the past week after his website said a white family did not reflect genuine Londoners.

Brexit Britain? Hardly. UK Migration Reaches New Peak.

Immigration to the United Kingdom (UK) has surged to over 1.1 million people – the highest since records began in 2002 – under the far-left “Conservative” Party, despite successive governments promising to reduce the number for more than a decade.

Statistics published by the Department for Work and Pensions on Thursday revealed that the number of people registering for a national insurance number – the right to work and pay taxes in the UK – between June 2022 and 2023 has increased by over 300,000 compared to the year before, in which it was around 880,000. European Union citizens accounted for 130,000 registrations, compared to the roughly 960,000 registrations from the rest of the world.

The British government issued 538,887 work visas, an increase of 63 percent compared to the previous year, and 657,208 study visas, representing an increase of 34 percent. All must register for a national insurance number upon arrival in the UK.

Just under 100,000 asylum claims were made in the same year, though only 40,386 were from those entering the UK by boats traversing the English Channel. The majority of claims come from those arriving through illicit means, such as in lorries, shipping containers, and fraudulent documents, according to the British Home Office. The total number of pending asylum claims also increased by 35 percent to 134,046.

Despite the staggering number of visas issued, Rishi Sunak’s Conservatives have continued to demand more immigration over the past few months, citing worker shortages in industries such as agriculture.

Global Reactions to Republican Debate Sees Vivek Take the Cake.

International headlines following the first Republican debate on Wednesday have been mostly split between former President Donald Trump‘s absence and Republican outsider Vivek Ramawasmy‘s dominance throughout the evening, with little attention being given to the other participants.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis – once considered Trump’s main competitor in the race – has been mostly ignored or forgotten in the coverage. One outlet referred to him as one of the debates losers, adding he was “simply a non-factor.”

The topics discussed on the night included the United States’ support for the war in Ukraine, abortion rights, the political persecution of the 45th President, the economy under the Biden government, and climate change – which Ramaswamy openly called “a hoax” to the surprise of the rest of the candidates.

BRICS Begins Major Expansion to Undermine U.S.

For the first time in nearly a decade, BRICS – the bloc of nations led by Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa – will expand, with Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) receiving formal invites, as well as Argentina, Egypt, Ethiopia, and Iran set to join in a year.

One of the top priorities of the BRICS nations has been to end the U.S. dollar’s global financial dominance. As the global reserve currency, the U.S. dollar is a key tool used by the United States government to maintain its global hegemonic status.

So far, the bloc has struggled to develop a dollar alternative – owing mostly to the fact that any other choice would need to be new given the state of their own national currencies. China purposely devalues its currency, while the Russian ruble is trading at just over 1 cent on the dollar, with the Indian rupee hardly much stronger. Brazil’s corrupt and dysfunctional economy makes the Brazilian real unattractive. Racial violence and the associated political and economic instability in South Africa makes the rand a non-starter.

This is where the addition of the Gulf States, Saudi Arabia and the UAE is critical for BRICS. The wealthy petro-states are viewed globally as economically and politically stable, attracting tens-of-billions of dollars in foreign investment annually. While the founding members of BRICS have thus far been unable to come up with a U.S. dollar alternative, its two newest potential members will at least increase their odds of success.

BRICS was founded during the 61st session of the U.N. general assembly in 2006 as a semi-formal international organization with the aim to act as a counter balance the U.S. dominated global economic order. Standing for “Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa”, BRICS has not undergone an expansion since 2010.

Judge Gets 2 Years in Prison For Opposing Masks for Kids.

A judge has been given a two-year suspended prison sentence after he overruled the federal obligation for children to wear face masks in school during the coronavirus pandemic, citing scientific evidence that argued COVID masks were detrimental to children’s development.

Judge Christian Dettmar of the Weimar District Court argued in April 2021: “I have considerable doubts about the meaningfulness of masks. If you want to wear them voluntarily at school, you can do that, but we don’t have to patronize parents.” He referenced a number of respected and renowned scientists to back up his claims.

But a judge overseeing his prosecution over the matter suggested that Dettmar cited critics of Germany’s stringent COVID-19 restrictions and ought to have waited until recognized “experts” were available. The judge also told Dettmar: “The good cause of protecting children that you may have had in mind doesn’t justify the means.”

The public prosecutions office demanded that Dettmar be sentenced to three years imprisonment without the possibility of parole. The trial judge ultimately decided to suspend the sentence and revoke Dettmar’s right to work as a family judge. The decision has already been appealed and is due to be heard at the Federal Court of Justice.

The subsequent evidence on masks has vindicated Dettmar’s position as they were found to increase the number of deaths and made “no significant difference” to the rate of transmission among schoolchildren .

Asa Hutchinson Made The Debate Stage by PAYING FOR DONATIONS And Promising MSNBC He Would ‘Prosecute’ Trump.

Asa Hutchinson hit the 40,000 donors required to make the GOP debate stage by paying people $20 for every $1 donation they could solicit, and appealing to MSNBC viewers that he would use the platform to “prosecute” former president Donald J. Trump.

The so-called texting-for-pay scheme was the brainchild of Austin Barbour, who heads Hutchinson’s America Strong & Free Action super PAC: “My thought was, if you get somebody to call their friends, family, somebody they know – all they’re asking for is $1 – certainly they’re going to say ‘yes’,” he explained.

Barbour’s own 18-year-old son somehow “found” 100 donors, which should have netted him a a cool $2,000.

Hutchinson, a former Governor of Arkansas, has attempted to run as the anti-Trump candidate. However, despite receiving the tacit endorsement of The Washington Post, he has had less successful cutting through to Never Trump diehards in the GOP than the similarly positioned Chris Christie, whose alarming physical appearance and outlandish statements on fighting Trump in a cage have garnered more public attention.
