DeSantis Turns To Big Money Romney Advisors for Help.

Governor of Florida Ron DeSantis is turning to Mitt Romney‘s former advisor, Emil Henry, for financial support in an effort to save his beleaguered 2024 presidential campaign.

Henry, CEO of the private equity firm Tiger Infrastructure Partners, will host a fund-raising lunch event on Thursday for the Florida Governor, charging a whopping $11,600 for admission. Henry, a long-term “moderate” Republican fundraiser, worked for the Romney on his 2012 presidential campaign, and as the assistant secretary of the Treasury in the George W. Bush administration.

DeSantis participated in a $11,600 per person breakfast on Thursday, alongside Republican fundraisers including David Blumberg, who has already donated over $60,000 to the Florida Governor, and Mark Gerson, who has similarly donated tens of thousands to DeSantis. Attendees will also required to make a minimum $1,500 campaign donation.

The Florida Governor’s campaign has relied heavily on corporate donors and D.C. Republican figures to raise capital after his campaign ranked eighth in grassroots, small-dollar donations earlier this summer. He is also having to re-raise the vast amounts his campaign has burned through without seeing any political gain.

Ukraine Lobbyist Boris Johnson Begs Trump, ‘Don’t Stop Supporting Ukraine.’

Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson – who is believed to have thwarted an early-brokered peace between Ukraine and Russia – is now urging Donald Trump to continue the wasteful and unaccountable U.S. support for the nation in his second term.

Johnson visited Ukraine again last week, and has now warned in a new column in the globalist Spectator magazine that Russian success would be a “catastrophe” for Western and American leadership. Johnson peddled the same neoconservative positions he used while Prime Minister, before his ouster over corruption.

“I don’t believe it is an outcome that could easily be endured by a US President, let alone one who wanted to Make America Great Again. And if, on the other hand, Ukraine wins and kicks Putin out – as, with our help, they can – then the reverse is true.”

– Boris Johnson, September 2023.

“Exactly the opposite message will be sent around the world: that we do care about democracy, that we are willing to back our principles, and that the West still has the guts to stick at something until we succeed,” Johnson added.

Instead, Johnson supports the view of the Biden government in continuing to send billions of dollars in weaponry, machinery, and aid to maintain the war, which has already led to the deaths of hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian and Russian soldiers and tens of thousands of amputations and life-changing injuries.

Johnson also recently claimed he wants to force the Taliban to watch women’s soccer until they finally appreciate women’s sports.

reparations

Caribbean Nations Demand $33 TRILLION in Slavery Reparations.

Caribbean nations are demanding a staggering $33 trillion from Europeans as a ‘formal apology’ for their role in the Transatlantic slave trade, with ‘Caricom,’ an economic and political union representing 15 West Indian countries, establishing a ten-point plan to conduct negotiations.

The plan will request a formal apology, repatriation to Africa for “those persons who wish to return,” education and healthcare funding, transfers of technology, and debt cancellation, among other things.

The report has calculated that Great Britain owes the largest amount at $19.6 trillion – more than six times the country’s annual GDP – followed by France at $6.3 trillion, then Spain at $6.3 trillion. Jamaica alone demands $9.5 trillion.

“We need a figure to begin with, a negotiating figure,” argued vice-chairwoman of Caricom, Verene Shepherd, who added: “The crime is huge. The responsibility for what happened is huge.”

Caricom first established a reparations commission in 2013, regularly writing and contacting former colonial powers about receiving reparations. Yet, it “didn’t get a positive response” from the countries, according to vice-chairwoman Shepherd.

Proponents of slavery reparations neglect to mention that Great Britain took out one of the largest loans in human history to emancipate those enslaved throughout the Caribbean in the 1830s. The British also dedicated major naval resources to patrolling the Atlantic to enforce the abolition of the Transatlantic slave trade through the early- to mid-nineteenth century, capturing and releasing an estimated 200,000 people at the cost of thousands of British lives.

Publishers Discourage Submissions From White, Able-Bodied People.

Book publishers and literary agents are actively discouraging submissions from white and “able-bodied” people, preferring instead to support those from perceived “marginalized” or “under-represented” backgrounds, an investigation has found.

A number of authors have even claimed they have become “ostracized” from the industry as they are not black or an ethnic minority, disabled, or LGBT. One example is Ash Literary, which states explicitly on its submissions page:

“We are actively seeking voices that have historically been underrepresented, particularly with tropes that are often said to be “over done”. For example, we are not interested in stories about white able bodied WW2 evacuees but would welcome that story from a disabled, LGBTQ+ or BIPOC [Black, Indigenous, and Other People of Color] perspective.”

Another is the Good Literary Agency, which even receives funding the British government to represent “British writers from backgrounds under-represented in UK publishing” and demands that job applicants understand societal issues in publishing and structural inequalities from “BAME [Black and Minority Ethnic], working class, disabled, and LGBTQ+ being under-represented.”

In recent days, top law firms were also found to be actively discriminating against white employees or applicants, with new legal challenges set to confront the practice already underway.

DeSantis Spox Admits Trump’s Nomination ‘Seems Inevitable’.

Steve Cortes, the ” national spokesman” for the pro-DeSantis SuperPAC Never Back Down, has admitted a presidential rematch between Donald Trump and Joe Biden “seems inevitable,” during an appearance on the Chicago’s Morning Answer. While laying out the case for Florida Governor DeSantis, Cortes claims voters do not want to see a rematch of 2020, though let slip that Trump’s primary victory appears all-but-certain.

“You mentioned earlier about dissatisfaction with a Trump-Biden rematch. On most polling, roughly two-thirds of Americans… do not want that rematch. It is a rematch that nobody wants yet it seems at this moment to be inevitable,” Cortes told the radio hosts before going on to pitch DeSantis an alternative. The show hosts were quick to point out that much of the Republican establishment appears to have moved on from DeSantis, with many even favoring the candidacy of former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley.

“DeSantis is now not a clear-and-away second place candidate. He’s fighting for second place. And then whoever’s there, if they can establish some separation, then they’ve got 20, 30, 40 points to go to get to Trump.”

Cortes conceded the situation is “a tough one for Ron DeSantis.”

Giuliani Wants to be Lead Counsel for Biden’s Impeachment.

Former New York Mayor and presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani has expressed his desire to serve as the lead counsel during House Republicans’ impeachment efforts against President Joe Biden. During an appearance on Steve Bannon’s War Room, Giuliani claimed to possess a superior understanding of the case against Biden and asserted that the necessary evidence could be found on Hunter Biden’s laptop. He emphasized his expertise in questioning and offered to handle the witness examinations.

“This case could be proved without witnesses. Just with electronics and the hard drive. You could do it with videos, texts, emails. It’s a multimedia case that could be won by a moderately talented prosecutor,” he Giuliani said Wednesday. “The evidence is overwhelming… I’m prepared to do the questioning if they got the guts for it,” Mr Giuliani told Bannon.

Yesterday, Republican House Speaker Kevin McCarthy announced the initiation of a formal impeachment inquiry into President Biden, citing allegations of abuse of power, obstruction, and corruption. The impeachment proceedings against President Biden are based on evidence gathered by several House committees, indicating he benefitted from his son’s overseas business dealings.

eu birthrates

WARNING: Not A Single EU Nation Has ‘Self-Sustaining Birth Rates’.

President of Hungary Katalin Novak has warned that Europe’s collapsing birthrate is the greatest crisis facing the continent as every country is reproducing below replacement rates, with only her own country having implemented plans to address the emergency.

Katalin told interviewers in an hour-long discussion before the Budapest Demographic Forum that “[n]ot having enough children is not only a Hungarian phenomenon, it is the same everywhere… If we just think about the fact that there is not a single country in Europe today that has enough children to even maintain its population — so we are not talking about population growth — then we can sense how big the problem is.”

She then quoted X (formerly Twitter) owner Elon Musk that the Western baby bust is more serious than “climate change,” explaining, “I am also inclined to take that as a true statement. It is a problem for Europe as a whole, and indeed for the Western world as a whole.”

Hungary has been at the forefront of trying to increase birthrates, with Prime Minister Viktor Orban suggesting in 2018 that the combination of low birth rates and mass immigration could bring about “the end of Christian Europe.” As a result, the Hungarian government has introduced various policies to incentivize parents to have more children, such as subsidizing family homes and tax reductions for families with children.

Birth rates would have to exceed 2.1 per woman to maintain current population levels, however, most countries are far below this target. France’s birthrate is 1.83, Germany’s is 1.53, Hungary’s is 1.56, Britain’s is also 1.56, and Italy’s is just 1.24.

Yet, it is not only Europe that is struggling to maintain its population, as the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is actively encouraging the Chinese people to increase procreation, even offering to cover the costs of IVF treatment.

Newsweek Failed to Disclose Anti-Trump Op-Ed Written by DeSantis Pollsters.

Corporate media outlet Newsweek has been caught failing to disclose that an opinion editorial attacking former President Donald Trump was written by two employees of a polling firm whose founder and CEO is the chief pollster for the pro-DeSantis SuperPAC Never Back Down. The authors, Byron Allen and Amanda Iovino, are both employees of WPA Intelligence, and used their op-ed column to claim Trump is losing white voters, passing off Never Back Down talking points as thin analysis. Newsweek makes no mention of WPA Intelligence’s affiliation with Never Back Down.

Chris Wilson, the founder and CEO of WPA Intelligence, serves as the data director and chief pollster for the Never Back Down SuperPAC. Outside of his polling duties, Wilson appears to be a close confidant of the PAC’s chief strategist Jeff Roe – the two recently launching an AI chatbot that they hope will sway voters to DeSantis through text messages.

WPA Intelligence’s Byron Allen has also produced polling for the anti-Trump group Club for Growth. In November of last year, the Club released polling done by Allen suggesting Ron DeSantis held an 11 point lead over Donald Trump in Iowa and a 15 point lead in New Hampshire. At the time, there was a strong effort among Trump’s detractors to push a narrative that the former President faced crumbling support within the Republican Party. Recent polling shows Trump with a 23 to 37 point lead over DeSantis in Iowa and a lead of 14 to 40 points in New Hampshire.

Allen has not hidden his personal disdain for Trump, posting on X (formerly Twitter) in 2015 during the presidential primary: “Difference between Bernie and Trump is that I think Bernie really believes the crap that comes out of his mouth.”Allen has also accused Trump of being a 9/11 Truth conspiracy theorist and suggested the former President couldn’t find Benghazi on a map.

Biden Spox Says Joe Was on Hunter’s Business Calls Because Beau Biden Was Sick.

White House spokesman Ian Sams is claiming that the reason President Joe Biden was on his son Hunter Biden’s business calls, and in his meetings, is because the Biden’s are a “close-knit family” and the then-Vice President’s other son, Beau, was battling brain cancer. The move represents yet another occasion of the Bidens using Beau’s death for political ends.

“He calls his son every day to check in. He calls his other family members to check in to see how they’re doing… they’re a tight knit family,” claimed Sams in an interview with CNN, adding, “He was checking in with Hunter during a particularly hard time, I might add, a time where the family was going through Hunter’s brother, Beau’s illness.”

Sams comments came in response to the impeachment inquiry against President Biden announced by Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy on Tuesday. The White House spokesman argued that Republicans were “baselessly” targeting Biden and “…[g]oing after him without any evidence just to try to score political points… .” Sams went on to deny that Biden’s Department of Justice afforded Hunter Biden any special treatment relating to its investigation of him and the subsequent failed ‘sweetheart’ plea deal that was thrown out by a federal judge.

President Biden’s problems in Congress are only mounting, however. Prior to the impeachment inquiry announcement, the House Oversight Committee revealed that while serving as Vice President, Biden used several pseudonyms to communicate with his son Hunter regarding business arrangements. The Committee is currently demanding the National Archives hand over un-redacted copies of those communications and documents.

Homicides Up 29% in Bowser’s D.C.

Homicides in Democrat-dominated Washington D.C. are up by 29 percent compared to this time last year, with annual murders on course to hit their highest total in 20 years.

There has been an even sharper 67 percent rise in robberies, and minors are increasingly entangled in the crime wave as both perpetrators and victims. Forty-one youths aged 12 to 15 had been arrested for carjackings and 81 under-18s had been shot as of the end of August – up from 61 over the same time frame in 2022 and 37 in 2021.

The Democratic Party dominates D.C. politics, with Mayor Muriel Bowser and the D.C. Council all being Democrats or “Independents” whose previous affiliation was Democrat.

Mayor Bowser has claimed she wants to “throw every resource at reducing crime” and she has increased the latest public safety budget – but during the ‘Defund the Police’ mania following the death of George Floyd in 2020 the Counil trimmed $32 million from police funding, as $4.8 million was splurged on the creation of Black Lives Matter Plaza.

Bowser’s apologists sometimes complain that the federal government is in charge of prosecutors and some other criminal justice functionaries in D.C., although the federal government is also under Democrat control at present.
