DeSantis ‘Proud’ to Receive Endorsement from Steve Deace, Who Wanted Hillary to Beat Trump.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has accepted an endorsement that most Republican candidates might try to downplay or even outright avoid – Iowa Evangelical talk-radio host Steve Deace, who openly attempted to lose Republicans the 2016 election, paving the way for a Hillary Clinton America.

During the 2016 Republican presidential primary, Deace began as an early backer of U.S. Senator Ted Cruz (R-Tx). When the Cruz campaign – run by Jeff Roe who is now the top political guru for Team DeSantis – failed to defeat the eventual Republican nominee and 2016 presidential winner Donald Trump, Deace openly opposed Trump’s general election campaign, going so far as to say that between Trump and Hillary Clinton, “I don’t really care who wins.”

Following Trump securing the Republican nomination for President in 2016, Deace declared that he was leaving the Republican Party and joining the NeverTrump movement. In a now deleted Conservative Review column, Deace scolded conservatives for supporting Donald Trump:

And spare me your sanctimonious rambling about, ‘but if he’s the nominee we have to vote for him or Hillary will win. First of all, most of the thumb-suckers saying this have sat on the sidelines during this primary process, refusing to get their hands dirty doing everything they could to stop the GOP from nominating another sure-fire progressive loser/betrayer once more.

Deace’s rant continued with:

Now we’re talking about attaching our brand to an unrepentant serial liar and adulterer that has clearly demonstrated during his 70 years on this planet he stands for nothing but himself.

And as we’ve reached the apex of this primary it’s become abundantly clear that Trump is who his detractors always said he was, and is taking advantage of every negative stereotype the left has of conservatives to excel in this race. Everything he touches becomes corrupted and distorted.

Right before the November 2016 presidential election Deace encouraged Utah voters to support former CIA spook, Deep State defender, and third party candidate Evan McMullin for President.

Republicans voting for third parties over Trump would certainly have handed Hillary Clinton the White House.

Zelensky Fires Military Officials, Alleging Corruption, Bribery, & Treason.

Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky has removed all regional heads of military enlistment amid an ongoing investigation into military recruitment corruption, announcing that army veterans will become responsible for drafting new troops.

The decision comes after accusations of corruption by way of “draft evasion” among military recruiters, who were seen to be enriching themselves at the expense of the Ukrainian armed forces. There are now 112 criminal proceedings and 33 ‘suspicions’ against enlistment office officials as a result.

Zelensky – who leads the most corrupt nation in Europe, also the place the Biden family coincidentally chose to conduct business – announced the move via his official Telegram page, arguing that military enlistment “should be run by people who know exactly what war is and why cynicism and bribery during war is treason.”

Zelensky’s decision will be implemented by the commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian army, Valerii Zaluzhnyi, with all appointees subject to inspections and approval by the Ukrainian Security Service.

Allegations of Ukrainian corruption have repeatedly surfaced, including veteran journalist Seymour Hersh’s claim that the Ukrainian President, along with his generals, embezzled “at least” $400 million in U.S. aid in 2022. Ukrainian corruption as well as Zelensky’s growing authoritarianism led POLITICO to report earlier this year that he could become susceptible to “another Maidan” revolution.

Biden More Than Doubles U.S. Deficit in 2023… and the Fiscal Year Isn’t Over Yet!

The United States budget deficit has doubled under President Joe Biden; hitting $1.6 trillion in the first 10 months of the fiscal year. The continued deterioration of the fiscal state of the U.S. is another blow to Bidenomics, the set of economic agenda items that the Biden White House has pinned their re-election hopes on.

In a thread on X (formerly Twitter), economist EJ Antoni explained that the U.S. Treasury “…continues hemorrhaging cash as spending balloons, receipts fall; deficit and interest on the debt keep rising.” Antoni noted net interest payments on the U.S. debt exceeded spending on national defense, medicare, veterans benefits and services, and transportation.

Even more concerning is that the Fiscal-Year-To-Date’s deficit is already $238 billion above the last Fiscal Year’s entire deficit. There are still two months remaining in the current Fiscal Year.

The negative news on the U.S. deficit only darkens the storm clouds over the U.S. economy. The July Consumer Price Index numbers signaled a re-acceleration in inflation – despite many in the mainstream media claiming that the inflation crisis was over. In response to the re-acceleration of inflation in July, Antoni stated:

The CPI has risen so much faster than wages under Biden that the average American worker effectively paid a $4.62 an hour inflation tax in July. And yet, many components of the CPI are understating the realities faced by Americans, including housing. The monthly payment on a median price home today is twice what it was in January 2021.

Last wee, Fitch Ratings downgraded U.S. government debt from AAA to AA+ and projected the American economy would enter into a recession in late 2023 or early 2024.

Foster Couple Sues After Being Told They Couldn’t Raise Kids Who They Wouldn’t Transgender.

A Christian couple is suing the state of Massachusetts for religious discrimination after they were denied the right to foster a child because they would not respect non-binary pronouns if the child identified as transgender.

Michael and Catherine Burke allege that their application was rejected by the state’s Department of Children and Families (DCF) after a social worker issued an approval of the application “with conditions, specifically around religion and LGBTQIA++ related issues.”

The social worker asked the couple whether they would have a problem with the foster child being LGBT, whereupon Catherine Burke referred to so-called “gender-affirming care” as chemical castration, suggested taking “the T out of it” and “expressed hesitation” around using they/them pronouns.

However, the couple made it clear that they would respect the child’s wishes, continue to “love [the child] the same,” not subject the child to conversion therapy, and even attend their child’s LGBT wedding.

The couple is suing the DCF on First Amendment grounds, citing five violations. “The Burkes were devastated to learn that they were denied a license to foster or adopt any child in the Massachusetts child welfare system,” stated the couples’ lawyer, Lori Windham.

“They’re asking the court to get rid of that discriminatory denial so that they will not be barred from fostering or adopting children in the future, in Massachusetts or elsewhere,” Windham added.

The U.S. has a “critical shortage” of foster homes, with around 407,000 children in foster care in America.

barge

Britain Removes Illegals From Barge After Just Days Due to ‘Bacteria’.

Illegal migrants have been removed from the Bibby Stockholm barge after Legionella bacteria was found in the barge’s water supply within days of dozens of people moving in. Those onboard are now likely to be moved to new accommodation, despite the British immigration Minister Robert Jenrick referring to the barge as “perfectly decent.”

None of the illegal migrants on the barge have shown signs of contracting Legionella bacteria so far, which, if untreated, can cause a lung infection known as Legionnaires’ disease. The government is understood to be hosting a number of meetings on Friday in an effort to resolve the problem. There are around 15 people living on the barge, despite the government’s initially expectation of around 50.

The British government has already faced a barrage of criticism from the mainstream media and leftist groups for using the barge as an alternative to housing illegal migrants in hotels across the country, with some going so far as to refer to the accommodation as a “deathtrap.”

Yet, those living on the barge were provided with all the necessary basics by the British taxpayer. This includes beds, food, internet, computers, a free gym, outdoor access, and even the freedom to come and go as often as they pleased.

suicide

U.S. Suicides Hit All-Time High.

Suicide rates in the United States reached an all-time high in 2022 and are now more common in America than at any time since the Second World War, according to recently published data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Around 49,500 people took their own lives last year in the U.S., with older adults between the ages of 45 and 64 seeing the largest increase of 7 percent compared to 2021. Suicides in younger adults between 25 and 44 also grew by 1 percent, representing the second most common cause of death among the age range, up from number four in 2021. White men had especially high rates of suicide in comparison to other demographics, according to the CDC.

The U.S. suicide rate incrementally increased from the early 2000s until 2018, in which levels reached their highest since 1941 – the year of the attack on Pearl Harbor. The rates increased again in 2021 by four percent and then again by 3 percent in 2022.

“I think it’s important to realize we’ve seen these increases for many, many years,” stated Dr. Debra Houry, chief medical officer of the CDC, when announcing the latest statistics, before adding: “There was a slight decline in 2019 and 2020, but really over the past 15 years, we’ve been on this trajectory.”

House GOP Prepares to Subpoena Entire Biden Family.

The House Oversight Committee is preparing to subpoena President Joe Biden and his family if they do not willingly testify before Congress over the family’s ‘crooked‘ foreign financial affairs.

Chairman of the Oversight Committee James Comer (R-KY) announced the plan after the GOP-majority committee released bank statements earlier this week showing the Biden’s accepted at least $20 million from countries including Russia, Ukraine, and Kazakhstan.

“This is always going to end with the Bidens coming in front of the committee. We are going to subpoena the family,” Comer stated.

“We know that this is going to end up in court when we subpoena the Bidens. So we’re putting together a case, and I think we’ve done that very well. We’ve shown the bank records… We have put together a case that I think would stand up in any court of law in America,” Comer added.

Members of the committee have already been in contact with “three or four” of the family’s associates, such as Hunter Biden’s former best friend, Devon Archer, and will continue to build the case against the family in the near future; meaning, in spite of the overwhelming evidence against the Bidens, it is likely to be some time before any subpoena is issued.

DeSantis Chief Offers $11M to Corporate Media To Stop Writing About Him.

Jeff Roe – the top establishment strategist advising Ron DeSantis’s ‘Never Back Down PAC’ – bemoaned the scrutiny of his operation, offering media start-up Puck $11 million to stop writing about him in what turned into a breakdown on social media on Thursday evening.

Roe, who runs the embattled “Axiom Strategies” which just tightened its grip on the DeSantis operation, responded to a tweet from reporter Tara Palmeri who announced Puck had just raised $10M for an expansion of its news operations. Roe shot back: “I’ll buy in for $11M if my name isn’t in your publication again” – a bizarre inducement to the media to stop reporting on his activities.

Roe’s angry outburst drew the attention of Chris LaCivita, senior advisor to Donald Trump’s presidential campaign. LaCivita jabbed Roe over Never Back Down ineffective support for the DeSantis campaign.

LaCivita appeared to have struck a nerve with Roe, whose Axiom Strategies – and its subsidiaries – have seen nearly 50 percent of Never Back Down’s campaign spending reach its company accounts. Roe responded with what can only be described as a bizarre series of posts, escalating in anger:

Jeff Roe, considered a “heavyweight” in Missouri politics, drew harsh criticism and condemnation from the likes of former U.S. Senator Jack Danforth for producing a controversial radio ad that is alleged to have played a role in the 2015 suicide of gubernatorial candidate Tom Schweich.

Pessimism Spreads in Ukraine Army: ‘It’s Too Depressing’.

Pessimism is spreading amongst Ukrainian troops and officials as the number of casualties continues to grow and the nation’s “spring counter-offensive” grinds to a halt. Ukrainian soldiers are now openly expressing their despondency and disappointment with how the war is going.

Ruslan Proekter – a Ukrainian soldier who lost his leg and suffered several other injuries after stepping on a Russian mine – admitted in an interview with The Washington Post that he would not volunteer to fight in the war a second time. “They’re taking everyone and sending them to the front line without proper preparation,” Proekter explained before adding: “I don’t want to be in the company of unmotivated people.”

Another interviewee, Alla Blyzniuk, lamented the casualty rates and the loss of local men to the front: “The defenders of our country should be professionals,” she said. “I’m really sad,” she added. “We Ukrainians did not deserve this destiny.”

“It’s too depressing,” said Viktor, a wounded soldier, detailing how it took his unit seven hours to move one quarter of a mile.

“Our expectations were higher. If [the counter offensive is] going on, it’s going slow,” explained Yulia Paltseva, a receptionist in Kyiv.

“It is such a hard price for freedom,” said an Estonian Ukrainian soldier who goes by the call sign Suzie, “I never saw so much blood before.”

U.S. diplomats admitted earlier this week that the counteroffensive is “extremely unlikely” to make progress as Ukraine’s army has repeatedly failed to break through Russia’s heavily-fortified defense structures. Meanwhile, Joe Biden demanded yet another aid package of around $25 billion announced on Thursday.

BREAKING: Biden AG Names ‘Sweetheart Deal’ Special Counsel in Hunter Case.

U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland has been named Delaware U.S. Attorney David Weiss as special counsel in the Department of Justice’s ongoing investigation of President Joe Biden’s son and alleged business partner, Hunter Biden. Weiss has already been overseeing the DOJ probe into Hunter Biden’s business dealings since 2019.

The DOJ order elevating Weiss to special counsel will allow him to “… conduct the ongoing investigation described above, as well as any matters that arose from that investigation or may arise… ” as well as  “…prosecute federal crimes in any federal judicial district arising from the investigation of these matters.” Attorney General Garland told members of the press that he was informed by Weiss that “…in his judgment, his investigation has reached a stage at which he should continue his work as Special Counsel and he asked to be so appointed.”

House Oversight Committee Chairman, Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.), blasted Attorney General Garland’s appointment of Weiss as special counsel, stating:

This is part of the DOJ’s efforts to attempt a Biden family coverup in light of our Committee’s mounting evidence of President Joe Biden’s role in his family’s schemes selling “the brand” for millions of dollars to foreign nationals.

The Justice Department’s misconduct and politicization in the Biden criminal investigation already allowed the statute of limitations to run with respect to egregious felonies committed by Hunter Biden. Justice Department officials refused to follow evidence that could have led to Joe Biden, tipped off the Biden transition team and Hunter Biden’s lawyers about planned interviews and searches, and attempted to sneakily place Hunter Biden on the path to a sweetheart plea deal.

Let’s be clear what today’s move is really about. The Biden Justice Department is trying to stonewall congressional oversight as we have presented evidence to the American people about the Biden family’s corruption.

Recently, Weiss and the DOJ came under intense scrutiny from U.S. district judge Maryellen Noreika for what critics argued was a sweetheart plea deal for President Biden’s son, Hunter – a crack-cocaine addict suspected of abusing the public trust along with his father in order enrich themselves and other members of the Biden family. Judge Noreika rejected the proposed language and after an attempt to renegotiate the agreement failed, Hunter Biden entered a plea of “Not Guilty” in the federal district court.

In addition to the sweetheart plea deal, Weiss has also received criticism for his proximity to allies of President Biden and his son Hunter Biden. Alexander Mackler, a long time friend and associate of Hunter Biden, worked as a prosecutor under Weiss in Delaware U.S. Attorney’s office during the earliest stages of the Biden probe. In texts between the two, Mackler would often refer to Hunter Biden as “buddy” or “brother”.
