Mamdani Cancels ABC Appearance in Solidarity With Charlie Kirk MisInfo Peddler Jimmy Kimmel.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: Zohran Mamdani, the Democrats’ far-left New York City mayoral candidate, canceled a televised town hall over ABC’s suspension of Jimmy Kimmel Live!

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Zohran Mamdani, Jimmy Kimmel, Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Chairman Brendan Carr, and ABC/Nexstar affiliates.

📍WHEN & WHERE: Announced during a press conference on Roosevelt Island, Monday.

💬KEY QUOTE: “It is not the government’s job to tell us what we can and cannot talk about.” – Zohran Mamdani

🎯IMPACT: Mamdani claims his decision was motivated by ‘First Amendment’ concerns despite Kimmel having spread blatant false information.

IN FULL

Far-left New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani announced on Monday that he is canceling a planned televised town hall with a local ABC affiliate. The decision comes in response to ABC’s suspension of Jimmy Kimmel Live! following host Jimmy Kimmel spreading false conspiracy theories that slain Turning Point USA (TPUSA) founder Charlie Kirk was murdered by a Make America Great Again (MAGA) movement supporter. Additional pressure on ABC to suspend Kimmel came from President Donald J. Trump’s Federal Communications Commission (FCC), as well as local affiliates owned by Nexstar and the Sinclair Broadcast Group.

FCC Chairman Brendan Carr had threatened regulatory action against ABC over the false claims made by Kimmel regarding Kirk’s assassination. Nexstar, which owns dozens of local ABC affiliates, initially suspended the show before ABC followed suit with an indefinite suspension. Subsequently, Sinclair announced they would also back Nexstar’s decision and pull Jimmy Kimmel Live!

Speaking during a press conference on Roosevelt Island, Mamdani criticized what he perceives as government interference, stating, “It is not the government’s job to bully talk show hosts off of the air. It is not the government’s job to tell us what we can and cannot talk about.”

Mamdani further expressed his concerns about the broader implications of such actions, saying, “The message that it sends to each and every American across this country is a message the First Amendment is no longer a right that can be counted on, but rather that it is government which will determine what should and should not be discussed.”

Notably, it has always been against FCC regulations for broadcast license holders to spread “false information concerning a crime or a catastrophe” over the public airwaves.

WATCH: Don Lemon Claims Being Christian in Public Is ‘Religious Nationalism.’

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: During Don Lemon’s latest YouTube podcast episode of The Don Lemon Show, the liberal pundit asserted that essentially any public display of the Christian faith is tantamount to “Religious Nationalism,” speaking in reaction to slain Turning Point USA (TPUSA) founder Charlie Kirk’s memorial service.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Don Lemon, mourners at Charlie Kirk’s memorial service.

📍WHEN & WHERE: September 22, 2025.

💬KEY QUOTE: “Here is where we have to tell the truth here. What we saw in that arena was not simply faith finding public expression; it was religious nationalism on full display. That is my truth.” — Don Lemon

🎯IMPACT: Despite admitting that he had not actually watched any of the memorial service live but only clips posted to social media, Lemon attempted to smear mourners as part of a Christian nationalist revival.

IN FULL

Disgraced former CNN host turned social media personality Don Lemon denounced slain Turning Point USA (TPUSA) founder Charlie Kirk‘s memorial service this past Sunday, stoking fear about Christianity in public life. During Lemon’s latest YouTube podcast episode of The Don Lemon Show, the liberal pundit asserted that essentially any public display of the Christian faith—out of step with a left-wing political message—is tantamount to “Religious Nationalism.”

“So what I say now is what happened in Arizona this weekend was not just a memorial, it was something else entirely,” Lemon claimed on his podcast, continuing: “People will tell you it is about grief, about honoring a man’s life, about faith, and on the surface, you know, maybe it looked like that. Tens of thousands gathered, the music swelled. I’m sure some of you saw it… but if you stayed long enough… if you listened long enough… you could feel the ground shifting beneath you, because this wasn’t just about a man who died; this was about a movement claiming divine permission to rule.”

Despite admitting that he had not actually watched any of the memorial service live but only clips of the mourners posted to social media, Lemon went on to contend, “It was a revival meeting wrapped in a memorial… a political rally dressed as church!”

“And by the end of the night, it was clear, this was not only about Charlie Kirk’s death, it was about his afterlife in politics… The crowd cheered as if the passing of the man lit some sort of sacred fire! To me, this was not mourning. It was mobilization!”

“Here is where we have to tell the truth here. What we saw in that arena was not simply faith finding public expression; it was religious nationalism on full display,” Lemon concluded, adding: “That is my truth.”

After being forced out at CNN, Lemon briefly looked to relaunch his media career on Elon Musk‘s X (formerly Twitter) as a contracted media personality. However, Musk nixed the deal after Lemon allegedly made an out-of-this-world list of demands, including soliciting a Tesla Cyber truck, an upfront payment of $5 million, and being the first man to host a podcast in space.

Shortly after the 2024 presidential election, the disgraced former CNN host announced he was leaving the X social media platform entirely.

These European Nations Want to Join Trump In Declaring Antifa a Terrorist Group.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: Both the Netherlands and Hungary want to join President Donald J. Trump in declaring Antifa a terrorist organisation.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Dutch populist leader Geert Wilders, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, President Donald J. Trump, and Antifa.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The Netherlands passed a motion to declare Antifa a terror group on September 18, with the Hungarians announcing they would be pursuing similar measures the following day.

💬KEY QUOTE: “ANTIFA TERRORIST ORGANIZATION! FVD/PVV MOTION ADOPTED!” – Geert Wilders.

🎯IMPACT: Designating Antifa a terrorist group could allow enhanced police surveillance and prosecution of members of the group for crimes, including political violence.

IN FULL

Lawmakers in the Netherlands and Hungary are pushing forward efforts to classify the violent far-left extremist group Antifa as a terrorist organization. The moves mirror a recent declaration by President Donald J. Trump, who cited political violence and the assassination of Turning Point USA (TPUSA) founder Charlie Kirk as grounds for the designation.

In the Dutch parliament, a motion proposed by Geert Wilders, leader of the populist, anti-Islamist Party for Freedom (PVV), was passed. Wilders argued that Antifa groups are already active in the Netherlands, pointing to incidents of harassment and violence against conservative politicians, students, and journalists.

“ANTIFA TERRORIST ORGANIZATION! FVD/PVV MOTION ADOPTED!” Wilders wrote on X shortly after the motion passed in the parliament.

Wilders stated that Antifa’s actions are “aimed at silencing dissenting voices,” and not merely protesting. The adopted motion urges the Dutch government to formally respond and consider the classification, which would expand law enforcement powers for surveillance and criminal prosecution.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán confirmed his government’s intent to follow the same course in Hungary. He referenced the case of Ilaria Salis, an Italian woman linked to Antifa who allegedly took part in violent attacks in Budapest but later secured a seat in the European Parliament. “They now lecture Hungary from Brussels. This is unacceptable,” Orbán said, adding that legal measures must be strengthened against extremist activism.

The effort comes after President Trump’s announcement in Washington earlier this week that Antifa would be designated a “major terrorist organization” in the U.S. The America First leader said the step was essential to address “years of unchecked violence and intimidation against conservative citizens.”

Tyler Robinson, the man accused of assassinating Charlie Kirk, also reportedly engraved Antifa slogans on the ammunition used in Kirk’s murder, with multiple people close to him saying he was heavily influenced by far-left ideology.

WATCH: AOC Trashes ‘Ignorant, Uneducated’ Charlie Kirk While Voting Against Resolution Condemning Political Violence.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) explained her “No” vote on a resolution honoring Charlie Kirk and condemning political violence, smearing the assassinated Turning Point USA (TPUSA) founder.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Charlie Kirk, House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA), and members of Congress.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The vote took place in the House of Representatives on Friday.

💬KEY QUOTE: The resolution “brings great pain to the millions of Americans who endured segregation, Jim Crow, and the legacy of that bigotry today,” Rep. Ocasio-Cortez complained.

🎯IMPACT: The resolution passed 310-58. All 58 “No” votes were cast by Democrats.

IN FULL

Far-left Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) took to the House floor on Friday to defend her vote against a GOP-backed resolution that honored assassinated Turning Point USA (TPUSA) leader Charlie Kirk and “call[ed] upon all Americans—regardless of race, party affiliation, or creed—to reject political violence, recommit to respectful debate, uphold American values, and respect one another as fellow Americans.” The resolution was brought forward by Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) in response to Kirk’s assassination at Utah Valley University on September 10.

On Friday afternoon, the resolution passed with 310 “Yes” votes and 58 “No” votes—all of which were Democrats. Ocasio-Cortez took to the House floor and criticized the resolution, calling it “reckless” and accusing House Republicans of using it to further “divide” Americans. She argued that the resolution “brings great pain to the millions of Americans who endured segregation, Jim Crow, and the legacy of that bigotry today.”

While acknowledging the horror of Kirk’s assassination, Ocasio-Cortez attempted to smear Kirk’s legacy by taking various quotes out of context. She stated, “We should be clear about who Charlie Kirk was: a man who believed that the Civil Rights Act that granted Black Americans the right to vote was a ‘mistake,’ who after the violent attack on Paul Pelosi claimed that ‘some amazing patriot out there’ should bail out his assailant, and accused Jews of controlling ‘not just the colleges—it’s the nonprofits, it’s the movies, it’s Hollywood, it’s all of it.’”

Ocasio-Cortez—who is weighing a possible 2028 presidential run and enjoys broad support in the Democratic Party—falsely claimed that Kirk’s “rhetoric and beliefs were ignorant, uneducated, and sought to disenfranchise millions of Americans,” in contrast to the resolution’s assertion that he “worked tirelessly to promote unity.”

Senate to Slash Trump Nominee Backlog with 108 Confirmations in a Month.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-SD) filed a resolution to expedite the confirmation of 108 Trump administration nominees, addressing a significant backlog.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: John Thune, Hershel Walker, Sergio Gor, Benjamin Black, Mike Waltz, and Senate Republicans and Democrats.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The resolution was filed late Thursday night, with confirmations expected by early October. The Senate is advancing these nominations in Washington, D.C.

🎯IMPACT: The resolution aims to clear a backlog of key Trump administration nominees, ensuring their roles are filled before critical events like the UN General Assembly.

IN FULL

The Republican-controlled Senate is set to clear a backlog of 108 Trump administration nominees for key executive branch roles by early October. Positions range from ambassadors to U.S. attorneys to deputy and assistant department secretaries, and have been held up for months by Democrat obstructionism in the upper chamber of Congress.

Late Thursday night, Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-SD) filed a resolution to confirm the nominees in a large batch. Last week, Thune invoked a so-called nuclear option, passing a rule change that allows executive branch nominees to be confirmed in large groups rather than individually. Senate Democrats brought the process of confirming Trump administration nominees to a halt by forcing roll-call votes on each individual nominee and dragging out confirmations as long as possible.

Among those nominated are Herschel Walker, tapped to serve as U.S. Ambassador to the Bahamas; Sergio Gor, nominated for U.S. Ambassador to India; and Benjamin Black, who has been selected to lead the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC). Former national security advisor Mike Waltz has been nominated to serve as U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations (UN).

The resolution comes as the UN General Assembly’s high-level meetings approach, where Waltz’s confirmation is critical for full participation. Waltz’s nomination was advanced by the Senate Foreign Relations Committee in July but faced procedural delays, requiring a revote. The committee approved him again on September 11 by a narrow margin.

The Senate has already made progress under the new process, confirming 48 Trump nominees in an initial package. This included Stephen Miran, who was confirmed to the Federal Reserve Board earlier this week, enabling his participation in the Fed’s mid-September meetings.

AOC Considering 2028 Presidential Bid.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: Far-left Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) is reportedly ramping up her political operation for a potential 2028 presidential run.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT), and possible donors and supporters.

📍WHEN & WHERE: Ocasio-Cortez has been holding town halls across upstate New York and participating in a national “Fighting Oligarchy” tour with Bernie Sanders for several months. The report about her potential presidential run and political operation ramp-up surfaced on Friday.

💬KEY QUOTE: “She has a supporter base that, in many ways, has a larger potential width than Bernie’s,” said Ari Rabin-Havt, a Progressive commentator and former aide to Sen. Sanders.

🎯IMPACT: The potential run would position Ocasio-Cortez as the leading figure for the progressive wing of the Democratic Party, with implications for both Senate and presidential races.

IN FULL

Far-left Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY)—popularly known as AOC—is reportedly ramping up her political operation ahead of a potential presidential run in 2028. It is believed Ocasio-Cortez and her team are weighing whether to pursue the U.S. Senate seat currently held by Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY)—who has signalled he may not run for re-election in 2028—or aim for the White House.

AOC, who represents parts of Queens and the Bronx, has been working to expand her influence both in New York and across the country. She has joined Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) on his nationwide “Fighting Oligarchy” tour and has held town halls throughout upstate New York this summer. Additionally, she has invested significant resources into growing her social media presence and compiling a list of potential supporters and donors, according to reports.

While no official decision has been made, it is believed Ocasio-Cortez’s team aims to keep her options open. Some allies believe that even if she doesn’t think she can secure the presidential nomination, a run for the White House would ensure the progressive wing of the Democratic Party has a voice in the primary, similar to Sanders’s 2016 campaign against Hillary Clinton.

If she opts to pursue a Senate seat, Ocasio-Cortez could challenge Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, though it appears he may not seek re-election. Schumer, 74, has served five terms and last won re-election in 2022 without facing a serious challenge from the left.

Ari Rabin-Havt, a former Sanders aide, told the media on Friday, “She has a supporter base that, in many ways, has a larger potential width than Bernie’s. She has been in the glare of the spotlight from day one and has the national campaigning experience a lot of other potential candidates are now trying to get.”

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: House Democrats, House Republicans, and Charlie Kirk.

📍WHEN & WHERE: Friday, September 19, 2025.

💬KEY QUOTE: The resolution “honors the life, leadership, and legacy of Charlie Kirk” and “calls upon all Americans—regardless of race, party affiliation, or creed—to reject political violence, recommit to respectful debate, uphold American values, and respect one another as fellow Americans.”

Democrats Remove Post Mocking Assassination of Charlie Kirk.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: The Yakima County Democrats faced backlash for posting a Facebook message mocking Charlie Kirk shortly after his assassination.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Yakima County Democrats, Charlie Kirk, Yakima County Party Chair Soneya Lund, and Kelso City Councilman Jim Hill.

📍WHEN & WHERE: Washington State, in the days following Kirk’s assassination.

💬KEY QUOTE: “Our deepest apologies for our oversight and insensitivity.” – Soneya Lund

🎯IMPACT: The incident highlights growing hostility and political tensions in Washington State following Kirk’s death, with additional controversies erupting across the state.

IN FULL

The Yakima County Democratic Party in Washington State is facing continued backlash over a social media post mocking the assassination of Turning Point USA (TPUSA) founder Charlie Kirk. “Blah blah blah Charlie Kirk hmm hmm hmm radicalized nada nada nada facists [sic],” the county party wrote in a now-deleted Facebook post following Kirk’s death, allegedly at the hands of 22-year-old Tyler Robinson, motivated by far-left politics and transgender ideology.

Soneya Lund, the chair of the Yakima County Democratic Party, issued an apology after Washington State residents began objecting to the post, claiming a volunteer had written the unauthorized message. “The Yakima Democrats do not condone violence of any sort, political or not. While we may not agree with an individual’s political stance, we 100% support their rights to vocalize them. Again, our thoughts and prayers are with [Erika] Kirk and their young children. … Our deepest apologies for our oversight and insensitivity,” Lund said.

Notably, the Yakima County incident is just the latest in Washington State in the fallout of Kirk’s assassination. Kelso, Washington, city councilman Jim Hill drew national attention and criticism over a post on a local news website in which he dismissed Kirk as a “podcaster” who “became rich and recognized because his lips were firmly attached to Trump’s behind.”

“The fact in my humble opinion is this. There is one less voice to promote Trump’s agenda. Where Trump and his minions want our Country to go. Perhaps it’s a good thing his voice was silenced,” Hill wrote.

He added, “Assassinations are going to continue. That there is unprecedented hate, I think, is out there. And guns are going to be the answer, to whether we continue to seek the ideals of our Constitution, continue our search for a better nation on one side, or Trumpism wins out.”

The comments received almost immediate pushback, with numerous individuals arguing that Hill was justifying political violence and encouraging further attacks.

Judge Faces Ethics Reprimand for Making Almost a Thousand Democrat Donations.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: A Florida judge made hundreds of political donations totaling around $29,000 to Democrat-aligned organizations or candidates, violating judicial ethics rules.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Judge Diana Tennis and the Florida Judicial Qualifications Commission.

📍WHEN & WHERE: Donations were made since 2016; the case was filed at the Florida Supreme Court on Tuesday.

💬KEY QUOTE: “Judge Tennis admitted to her misconduct and has cooperated with the Commission in all respects during this inquiry. She has expressed deep regret that her conduct could have eroded the public’s perception of the integrity of the judiciary and judicial elections.” – Florida Judicial Qualifications Commission

🎯IMPACT: The case raises concerns about judicial impartiality, and the Florida Supreme Court will determine whether to approve a recommended public reprimand.

IN FULL

A Florida judge is facing disciplinary action for illicit political contributions barred under state ethics rules. According to a filing made earlier this week, Judge Diana Tennis made over 900 donations totaling approximately $29,000 to Democrat-aligned organizations and candidates. These donations, according to the Florida Judicial Qualifications Commission, violated judicial ethics rules outlined in Canons 1, 2A, and 7A (1)(e), which prohibit judges from making political contributions.

The commission noted that while other judges have made political donations, Tennis was described as “far and away the most prolific offender” in both the number of contributions and the total amount given. The organizations and campaigns receiving her donations included Democratic congressional candidates, pro-abortion PACs, and Joe Biden‘s presidential campaign.

Tennis expressed remorse for her actions, claiming that she misunderstood the rules and believed the prohibition only applied to state-level candidates. She also stated that some donations were unintentionally authorized as recurring payments or split into multiple entries by platforms or committees. Despite her explanations, the commission emphasized that her actions could undermine public trust in the judiciary.

In light of her cooperation and lack of prior disciplinary history, the commission recommended a public reprimand. “Judge Tennis admitted to her misconduct and has cooperated with the Commission in all respects during this inquiry. She has expressed deep regret that her conduct could have eroded the public’s perception of the integrity of the judiciary and judicial elections,” the commission said in its filing.

The Florida Supreme Court will now review and approve the recommendation. If accepted, Tennis will receive a public reprimand. If rejected, the case could proceed to a full hearing before the Judicial Qualifications Commission.

Farage Scores First Defection from Governing Labour Party.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: Mason Humberstone, a Labour councillor, has defected to Nigel Farage’s Reform Party, marking the first such defection from Britain’s governing Labour Party to Farage’s populists.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Mason Humberstone, Nigel Farage, Reform UK, and Labour.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The defection was announced on September 17, involving the Old Town ward in Stevenage, a Labour-run council area.

💬KEY QUOTE: “It isn’t ordinary, hardworking people in Stevenage and across our country who’ve left Labour—Labour has left us. The party I joined is lost, without vision, mired in scandal, and too often speaking for a metropolitan elite rather than the people they’re meant to serve.” – Mason Humberstone

🎯IMPACT: The defection raises concerns for Labour about its appeal to working-class but socially conservative voters, as Reform continues to gain traction with defections from both Labour and the formerly governing Conservative (Tory) Party.

IN FULL

Mason Humberstone, a Labour Party councillor elected in May 2023 to represent the Old Town ward in Stevenage, England, has become the first Labour politician in England to defect to Nigel Farage‘s Reform Party. His departure marks a significant moment for Farage’s party, which has seen a growing number of defections from both the formerly governing Conservative (Tory) Party and independent politicians in recent months.

Announcing his decision, Humberstone criticised Labour, which has governed Britain under Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer since mid-2024, saying, “It isn’t ordinary, hardworking people in Stevenage and across our country who’ve left Labour, Labour has left us. The party I joined is lost, without vision, mired in scandal, and too often speaking for a metropolitan elite rather than the people they’re meant to serve.”

Reform leader Nigel Farage welcomed the defection, calling it further evidence that his party is attracting support from across the political spectrum. “We are winning the support of young people from across the political landscape,” he said.

Humberstone’s move follows a string of high-profile defections to Reform in recent months. Earlier this month, Danny Kruger, the sitting Conservative Member of Parliament (MP) for East Wiltshire, quit the Tory party to join Reform, declaring, “The Conservatives are over.”
