Left Politician RESIGNS After Husband’s China Links Exposed.

PULSE POINTS

❓WHAT HAPPENED: Joani Reid, a Member of Parliament (MP) for British Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer’s Labour Party, resigned the Labour whip after her husband was arrested on suspicion of spying for China.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Joani Reid, husband David Taylor, fellow accused Labour spies Matthew Aplin and Steve Jones, the Metropolitan Police, and China.

📍WHEN & WHERE: March 5, 2026, in London and Wales.

💬KEY QUOTE: “This week has been the worst of my life.” – Joani Reid

🎯IMPACT: Reid will not sit as a Labour MP until investigations are concluded.

IN FULL

Joani Reid, a Member of Parliament (MP) for British Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer‘s Labour Party, has resigned the Labour whip following the arrest of her husband, David Taylor, on suspicion of spying for the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Taylor, along with fellow alleged Labour spies Matthew Aplin and Steve Jones, has been accused of assisting a foreign intelligence service.

Reid stated, “This week has been the worst of my life. The shock of recent days has been difficult for me and my family.” She insisted she is “not under investigation by the police” personally, adding: “I have done nothing wrong.”

“I understand that speculation and gossip is fevered at a time like this. I do not want the circumstances that I and my family find ourselves in to be a distraction for this government, of which I am proud and in whom I believe,” Reid said, claiming she has suspended herself from the Labour whip “voluntarily.”

Taylor, a former adviser to Welsh Labour politicians, was arrested in London. Aplin and Jones were arrested in Pontyclun and Powys in Wales. All three have been released on bail until May, with ongoing enquiries by the Metropolitan Police, supported by counter-terror police in Wales and Scotland.

Notably, Prime Minister Starmer has himself recently returned from a controversial trip to China, insisting it is important to build ties with the communist dictatorship. He is also in the process of attempting to surrender sovereignty over the Chagos Islands, which include the strategic British-American Diego Garcia military base, to China-allied Mauritius.

Stabbing Near UK Elementary School and Church in Muslim-Majority Area.

PULSE POINTS

❓WHAT HAPPENED: Multiple people are reported injured following a stabbing outside a primary (elementary) school and church in a Muslim-majority area of Birmingham, England.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: A 32-year-old man has been arrested, with a woman also injured and eyewitnesses reporting a passer-by intervened.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The attack occurred on Bridge Road in the Pakistani-Muslim majority Alum Rock area of Birmingham on March 3, around 12:06 PM.

💬KEY QUOTE: “We understand how deeply distressing and concerning this incident is and we will have extra officers in the area to offer reassurance to the community,” said Detective Superintendent James Munro.

🎯IMPACT: The incident has left people shaken, with heightened police presence and appeals for information.

IN FULL

Authorities and medical teams arrived at the scene of a knife attack on Bridge Road in the Alum Rock neighborhood of Birmingham, England, on Tuesday morning. The attack occurred close to a primary (elementary) school and a church in the area, where Pakistani Muslims are the majority and white people are less than ten percent of the population and occasionally targeted with threatening graffiti. Police have detained a 32-year-old male suspect.

Eyewitness accounts suggest that a bystander tried to stop the assault by driving a vehicle into the perpetrator while he “repeatedly stabbed at his victim.” One injured person was observed on the ground in the road while police administered CPR.

After the assault, the alleged attacker escaped into a nearby apartment building. Some observers reported hearing sounds of gunfire coming from inside the structure, with footage provided to British media showing police officers with firearms moving into the location.

The West Midlands Police force stated: “We’ve arrested a man after another man was stabbed in Alum Rock this afternoon. Firearms officers were deployed to the incident as part of our response.”

Detective Superintendent James Munro added “We believe this to be a contained incident with a man in custody. We are reviewing CCTV footage and speaking to a number of people in the area.”

Farage: Iranian Refugees Must Stay in Middle East.

PULSE POINTS

❓WHAT HAPPENED: Reform Party leader Nigel Farage has stated that Britain cannot handle a wave of Iranian refugees, and that they should be accommodated in the Middle East.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Nigel Farage, Iranian migrants, and the British public.

📍WHEN & WHERE: Farage made his comments on March 2.

💬KEY QUOTE: “If there are refugees fleeing Iran, they will be housed in the Middle East. We can’t take refugees from these conflicts anymore, we simply can’t,” Farage said.

🎯IMPACT: Farage’s comments come amid fears that the ongoing war in Iran could spark another massive wave of migrants to Europe, similar to previous wars in Syria and Libya.

IN FULL

Reform Party leader Nigel Farage has said that Britain must not accept any new influx of refugees from Iran, arguing that those fleeing potential unrest should be accommodated in the Middle East. Notably, Iran’s immediate neighbors include some of the wealthiest countries in the world, such as Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE)—although they have all been reluctant to accept Muslim refugees from conflicts in Syria and elsewhere in the past.

Speaking on Monday, Farage said, “If there are refugees fleeing Iran, they will be housed in the Middle East. We can’t take refugees from these conflicts anymore, we simply can’t.”

However, he added that if Iran’s theocratic regime falls, it may cause many Persians currently living in Britain to return home. “I know many people who would like to go back to their home country, but away from the barbarity of this regime,” he said.

Immigration has been central to Farage’s platform as leader of the Reform Party. He has pledged a sweeping crackdown on illegal migration, including a plan to deport hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants over a single parliamentary term if he gains power. Farage has also proposed withdrawing from the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR) and suspending aspects of the Refugee Convention to stop illegal and criminal migrants from using human rights appeals to prevent them from being returned to their home countries.

Farage believes that anyone entering the country illegally should be permanently barred from claiming asylum, which would stop tens of thousands of migrants traveling to Britain from France on small boats from staying.

Afghan Migrant Jailed for Raping Woman Within Weeks of Arrival.

PULSE POINTS

❓WHAT HAPPENED: An Afghan migrant who arrived in the United Kingdom on a small boat in June 2022 was convicted of raping a vulnerable woman in Southampton, England, the following month.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Musafar Hotak, 25, the victim, and the Southampton Crown Court.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The crime occurred in Southampton in July 2022, with the trial concluding almost four years later.

💬KEY QUOTE: “What happened to me destroyed my life in ways I never thought possible. I didn’t just feel violated, I felt erased,” said Hotak’s victim.

🎯IMPACT: Hotak was sentenced to 10 years in prison, with the Home Office considering deportation. The victim continues to face severe psychological trauma.

IN FULL

Musafar Hotak, a 25-year-old migrant from Afghanistan, has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for the rape and sexual assault of a vulnerable woman in Southampton, England. The attack occurred in July 2022, just one month after Hotak arrived in the United Kingdom on a small boat.

The victim, who had been intoxicated and was asked to leave a local bar, was followed by Hotak. A voicemail recorded on her phone captured her telling him to stop. She later woke up in Hotak’s home, where he assaulted and raped her despite her pleas. DNA evidence confirmed the crime.

During the trial at Southampton Crown Court, the victim shared the devastating impact the attack had on her life. “What happened to me destroyed my life in ways I never thought possible. I didn’t just feel violated, I felt erased,” she said, adding that the trauma led to self-harm and an attempt to take her own life.

Regardless, Judge Gary Lucie sentenced Hotak to a mere 10-year prison term, with an additional four years subject to license conditions following his release. Hotak was also placed on the sex offenders’ register and given an indefinite restraining order to prevent him from contacting the victim.

Britain’s Home Office, roughly equivalent to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, will now consider whether to deport Hotak following his sentence—although many violent criminals and secual predators from countries like Afghanistan are able to overturn deportation orders by appealing against removal on human rights grounds.

UK PM Vows to Stay in Power Despite Crashing to Third Place in Special Election.

PULSE POINTS

❓WHAT HAPPENED: Britain’s extreme-left Green Party won a historic parliamentary by-election (special election) in the Gorton and Denton constituency (electoral district) in Manchester, England, with Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer’s left-wing Labour Party crashing to third place behind Nigel Farage’s Reform Party in a seat Labour had held for nearly a century.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Labour leader Keir Starmer, Green Party leader Zack Polanski, winning candidate Hannah Spencer, and Reform Party candidate Matt Goodwin.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The by-election in Gorton and Denton, Greater Manchester, took place on Thursday, following the resignation of former Labour Member of Parliament (MP) Andrew Gwynne.

💬KEY QUOTE: “I will keep on fighting for those people for as long as I’ve got breath in my body.” – Sir Keir Starmer

🎯IMPACT: The result has raised questions about Sir Keir Starmer’s leadership and the Labour Party’s strategy, with growing criticism of the Prime Minister from within the party.

IN FULL

Britain’s ruling, left-wing Labour Party has taken a significant hit in a parliamentary by-election (special election) in the Gorton and Denton constituency (electoral district) in Greater Manchester, England, where the extreme-left Green Party defeated them in a seat they had controlled for almost a century. This historic win marks the Green Party’s first-ever victory in a parliamentary by-election and brings their total Members of Parliament (MPs) to five—and raises questions about the future of Labour Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer.

Starmer described the results, which saw Labour crash to third place behind Nigel Farage’s Reform Party, as “disappointing,” but pledged to press on, saying, “I came into politics late in life to fight for change for those people who need it… I will keep on fighting for those people for as long as I’ve got breath in my body.” The loss has fueled internal backlash within Labour, with MPs like Karl Turner and Richard Burgon raising concerns about Starmer’s direction and approach.

The victorious Green Party candidate, Hannah Spencer—a local councillor—hailed the result as “just the beginning.” Green Party leader Zack Polanski declared that the win proved the Greens “can win anywhere” and pushed back against claims that their approach, which saw the Greens court the Muslim and ethnic minority vote with pro-Gaza and anti-Trump ads in Urdu and Bangla, was divisive.

Reform candidate Matt Goodwin argued that the results demonstrated Labour’s rapidly weakening grip over its traditional heartland areas, but expressed concern about the Greens’ victory as a product of minority bloc voting and possibly electoral fraud, saying, “We are losing our country. A dangerous Muslim sectarianism has emerged. We have only one general election left to save Britain.”

Starmer and his party face upcoming regional elections in Scotland and Wales, as well as local elections across England, which he previously attempted to postpone. Some Labour MPs are now openly calling for Starmer to step down, while others resist the idea of a messy internal leadership challenge.

Churchill Statue Vandalized with ‘Free Palestine,’ ‘Zionist War Criminal’ Graffiti.

PULSE POINTS

❓WHAT HAPPENED: A statue of Sir Winston Churchill in Parliament Square was defaced with graffiti branding him a “Zionist war criminal” alongside other phrases such as “Globalise the Intifada!” and “Free Palestine”.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: A 38-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of racially aggravated criminal damage. The Dutch group Free the Filton 24 claimed responsibility for the act.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The incident occurred in the early hours of Friday, February 27, at Parliament Square in Westminster, central London.

💬KEY QUOTE: “This is a disgraceful desecration of the statue of Britain’s greatest wartime leader,” said Zia Yusuf, for Nigel Farage’s Reform Party.

🎯IMPACT: The statue’s vandalization, seemingly by a foreign national, underlines the growing disregard for Britain’s heritage in its increasingly hyper-diverse capital city.

IN FULL

Early on Friday morning, the statue of wartime Prime Minister Sir Winston Churchill in London’s Parliament Square was vandalized with graffiti phrases including “Zionist War Criminal”, “Globalise the Intifada”, and “Free Palestine.” The Metropolitan Police arrested a 38-year-old man on suspicion of racially aggravated criminal damage shortly after the incident was reported at 4:00 AM.

Officers arrived at the scene within two minutes. The statue was subsequently cordoned off and cleaned later that morning. A Dutch group called Free the Filton 24 claimed responsibility, posting a video on Instagram that appeared to show a man identified as Olax Outis defacing the statue.

This is not the first time the wartime prime minister’s statue has been targeted. During the Black Lives Matter disorder in 2020, it was regularly vandalized by agitators, often with accusations of racism. Other statues in Parliament Square were also targeted, including one depicting Abraham Lincoln.

The 12-foot monument, created by Ivor Roberts-Jones and unveiled in 1973 by Lady Churchill, is one of 12 statues in Parliament Square. It commemorates Churchill’s leadership during World War II and serves as a symbol of British history and values—which are being treated with increasing disregard in London, a hyper-diverse city where only an estimated 36.8 percent of the population is White British.

Britain is Holding a Key Special Election Today. Voter ID is Required.

PULSE POINTS

❓WHAT HAPPENED: A parliamentary by-election (special election) in England on Thursday will be subject to voter ID requirements.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: The British government, the Electoral Commission, and voters in Britain.

📍WHEN & WHERE: Voter ID requirements were introduced by the Elections Act 2022, affecting today’s Gorton and Denton by-election in Manchester, England.

💬KEY QUOTE: “At least 50,000 voters were initially turned away at polling stations [during the] 2024 general election, with 34,000 returning. This meant 16,000 did not return.” – House of Commons Library research briefing

🎯IMPACT: Britain’s in-person voting is more secure than America’s although Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer’s governing Labour Party is moving to weaken existing safeguards, and postal (mail-in) voting on-demand remains highly vulnerable.

IN FULL

Voters in the Gorton and Denton constituency (electoral district) in Greater Manchester, England, are heading to the polls for a by-election (special election) to choose a new Member of Parliament (MP), in what is expected to be a tight contest between Matt Goodwin, representing Nigel Farage’s Reform Party, and far-left candidates for Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer’s ruling Labour Party and the Greens. Unlike in the United States, voters will be required to present a valid ID.

The Elections Act 2022 made photo ID compulsory for in-person voting in British Parliament elections and in English and Northern Irish local and regional elections, although Northern Ireland had required photo ID for much longer, with basic ID checks starting in 1985 and photo ID specifically mandated since 2003 to address concerns about electoral fraud. Elections to the Scottish Parliament or the Senedd (Welsh Parliament)—roughly equivalent to U.S. state legislatures—do not have voter ID requirements, nor do most of those countries’ local elections, which are subject to weaker regional regulations set by leftist regional governments.

Acceptable forms of photo ID are broad, including passports, driving licences, and bus passes. The document must be original (not a photocopy or photo on a phone), but it can be expired as long as the photo still resembles the voter reasonably well. For those without a suitable ID, the government provides a free Voter Authority Certificate (VAC), which serves as an alternative form of photo ID. Applications can be made online or through local electoral offices.

Implementation has generally been smooth administratively, with low numbers of people ultimately unable to vote. According to a House of Commons Library research briefing, “At least 50,000 voters were initially turned away at polling stations [during the] 2024 general election, with 34,000 returning. This meant 16,000 did not return.” This suggests the regulations have thwarted some fraudulent voters.

The rules were introduced by the formerly governing Conservative (Tory) Party, with the incumbent Labour Party opposed to them. Labour, under Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer, now says it will not abolish the ID requirements, but does plan to expand the list of acceptable IDs in the future, potentially including bank cards, which the Electoral Commission has flagged as a safety risk.

As in the United States, mail-in or postal voting on demand remains a significant vulnerability, with historic cases of fraud on an “industrial scale” in Labour-voting Muslim communities. Judge Richard Mawrey QC, sitting as an election commissioner in one case, found that the postal voting system was “wide open to fraud and any would-be political fraudster knows that it’s wide open to fraud,” and would “disgrace a banana republic.”

Notably, Mawrey warned ahead of the 2020 elections in the United States that American mail-in voting has even fewer safeguards than British postal voting and could “easily” be rigged.

Girls Trafficked on 90 Epstein Flights from UK, Ex-Prime Minister Reveals.

PULSE POINTS

❓WHAT HAPPENED: Gordon Brown submitted a new dossier to the police concerning Jeffrey Epstein’s flights in and out of the UK.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Former Prime Minister Gordon Brown and various UK police forces.

📍WHEN & WHERE: February 2026, involving airports such as Heathrow, Gatwick, and Stansted.

💬KEY QUOTE: “This memorandum provides new and additional information.” – Gordon Brown

🎯IMPACT: Calls for police to re-examine trafficking cases related to Epstein’s flights.

IN FULL

Former British Prime Minister Gordon Brown has provided the authorities in the United Kingdom with a new dossier of evidence regarding deceased child sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein’s air travel activities. This five-page memorandum was sent to six British police forces responsible for the airports Epstein used, including Heathrow and Gatwick in London.

“I have submitted a five-page memorandum to the Metropolitan, Surrey, Sussex, Thames Valley and other relevant UK police constabularies,” confirmed Brown, who formerly led Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer’s governing Labour Party, in a public statement.

“This memorandum provides new and additional information to that which I submitted last week to the Met, Essex, and Thames Valley police forces where I expressed my concern that we secure justice for trafficked girls and women,” he added.

Brown’s submission comes a week after he shared other evidence regarding Epstein’s movements. Writing in the New Statesman, Brown said he was dismayed “a number of British girls were on 90 Epstein flights organised from UK airports on what was called his ‘Lolita Express,’” adding: “Among the many aspects that should sicken anyone looking at the emails is that 15 of these flights were given the go-ahead after his 2008 conviction for soliciting sex from a minor. How the flights were allowed to continue should have been fully investigated.”

Brown, who was Chancellor of the Exchequer (Treasury Secretary) from 1997 to 2007 under Tony Blair, and Prime Minister from 2007 to 2010, appointed Lord Peter Mandelson, who had previously been a member of the Blair Cabinet and the European Commission, as his Business Secretary. It is during this spell in office that Mandelson, later appointed as ambassador to the U.S. by Starmer, is alleged to have shared confidential information with Epstein, his “best pal,” as revealed in the Epstein Files.

Mandelson is now facing charges of misconduct in public office.

BREAKING: Epstein-Linked Ex-Amb to U.S. Peter Mandelson Taken From Home by Police.

PULSE POINTS

❓WHAT HAPPENED: Lord Peter Mandelson, the Jeffrey Epstein-linked former British ambassador to the United States, was taken from his London home by plain-clothed police officers on Monday.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Lord Mandelson, Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer, and the British authorities.

📍WHEN & WHERE: Monday afternoon, at Mandelson’s home in London, England.

💬KEY QUOTE: “I am beyond being furious and appalled… To think that he was leaking the information to Epstein so he could help rich Americans make money on the UK government’s actions,” Member of Parliament (MP) Emily Darlington said of Mandelson earlier this month.

🎯IMPACT: The Mandelson scandal renews scrutiny on Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer and Britain’s governing Labour Party, which appointed Mandelson as ambassador despite his friendship with Epstein being public knowledge.

IN FULL

Lord Peter Mandelson, the former British ambassador to the U.S. linked to Jeffrey Epstein, was escorted from his London home by plain-clothed police officers on Monday afternoon. The Metropolitan Police later confirmed that “Officers have arrested a 72-year-old man on suspicion of misconduct in public office.”

Earlier this month, police officers raided properties associated with Mandelson in both Wiltshire and central London, after Epstein files released by the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) indicated that he had been leaking confidential information to Epstein when he was a member of Cabinet under former Prime Minister Gordon Brown.

The scandal around Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer’s decision to appoint Mandelson as ambassador, despite his friendship with Epstein being public knowledge, has steadily worsened. Mandelson had to leave the post only months after his appointment, which had been opposed by many prominent public figures, including The National Pulse Editor-in-Chief Raheem Kassam.

“[T]he idea that Keir Starmer, the current Prime Minister, would shove somebody like Lord Mandelson into the embassy in D.C. and expect him to be taken seriously is a great affront to President Trump, it’s a great affront to the American public and what they voted for,” Kassam told the late Charlie Kirk on his show in January 2025, a full year before the current scandal broke.

Notably, Starmer appointed Mandelson to the key diplomatic post despite the fact that he had previously branded President Donald J. Trump a “danger to the world” and “little short of a white nationalist and a racist.”

Several Members of Parliament (MPs) for Starmer’s Labour Party have taken their grievances over the scandal public, with Emily Darlington MP complaining, “I am beyond being furious and appalled… To think that he was leaking the information to Epstein so he could help rich Americans make money on the UK government’s actions.”

The fallout has already led to the ouster of Starmer’s now-former chief of staff, Morgan McSweeney, who was involved in Mandelson’s vetting for the ambassador role.

Ex-Prince Andrew ARRESTED Over Epstein Scandal.

PULSE POINTS

❓WHAT HAPPENED: Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, formerly Prince Andrew, was arrested by British police in connection with revelations in the Jeffrey Epstein files released by the U.S. government.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, Thames Valley Police, and the late Jeffrey Epstein.

📍WHEN & WHERE: Arrest occurred on Thursday, his 66th birthday, in the United Kingdom.

💬KEY QUOTE: “Following a thorough assessment, we have now opened an investigation into this allegation of misconduct in public office.” – Assistant Chief Constable Oliver Wright

🎯IMPACT: Mountbatten-Windsor could face life imprisonment if convicted.

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, previously Prince Andrew, was arrested by Thames Valley Police on Thursday—his 66th birthday. The arrest relates to his ties to deceased pedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein.

The ex-prince, whose royal titles were stripped by King Charles III last year, is suspected of misconduct in public office. Officers have carried out searches at properties in Berkshire and Norfolk.

The case centres on claims that Mountbatten-Windsor passed confidential trade documents to Epstein. An email from the Epstein files, released by the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), indicates he forwarded official trade reports on Hong Kong, Singapore, and Vietnam to Epstein.

Virginia Giuffre, an Epstein accuser who died last year, had previously accused Mountbatten-Windsor of sexually abusing her when she was 17. Her family welcomed the arrest, saying, “Today, our broken hearts have been lifted at the news that no one is above the law, not even royalty.”

King Charles III has called for a fair investigation, stressing, “Let me state clearly: the law must take its course.”

The release of the Epstein files has also put pressure on Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer and Britain’s governing Labour Party, with Labour grandee Lord Peter Mandelson, whom Starmer appointed as ambassador to the U.S., also accused of passing confidential information to Epstein.
