Newly declassified Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) documents suggest that senior congressional staffers working for Senator Adam Schiff (D-CA), then a member of the House of Representatives, coordinated with intelligence officials and journalists to leak classified or sensitive information during the early months of the first Trump administration—actions some FBI sources believe were aimed at undermining the presidency.

The documents include FBI interview summaries (“302s”) with a whistleblower who served on the House Intelligence Committee for over a decade. According to the whistleblower, Schiff’s office formed a “Russia team” in early 2017 that selectively funneled intelligence to the press through intermediaries, including staff spouses who were reporters.

A February 13, 2017, meeting is cited as a key moment, where Schiff allegedly instructed aides to “leak classified derogatory information” about Trump to “friendly” journalists. Among the staffers named are Rheanne Wirkkala, Michael Bahar, Timothy Bergreen, and Patrick Boland.

The whistleblower told the FBI that Wirkkala “used her husband, a national security reporter, as a cut-out to provide classified information to journalists, including Ellen Nakashima at the Washington Post.” The documents note that several published stories closely mirrored intelligence that had only just been shared with the committee.

“Leaking the information was one way to topple the administration,” the source said, adding, “Everything is directed at Trump and trying to get him impeached.”

The revelations emerge from one of at least seven FBI leak investigations launched between 2017 and 2020. However, none led to criminal charges. The Justice Department’s Inspector General report, released alongside the FBI files, cites “insufficient evidence” and barriers such as the Speech or Debate Clause that shielded congressional communications from scrutiny.

While the IG acknowledged that some of the whistleblower’s claims could not be corroborated, the report also noted that certain digital records, such as deleted messages, spousal communications, and broader e-mail data, were not obtained during the probe.

The whistleblower told the FBI that Schiff initiated the leaking of classified documents in a meeting after Trump’s election in 2016.

The whistleblower claims Schiff’s intention was to use selective leaks of classified documents to drive the Russia collusion narrative and hurt Trump. “In this meeting, SCHIFF stated the group would leak classified information which was derogatory to President of the United States Donald J. The interview documents were declassified by FBI Director Kash Patel. “We found it. We declassified it,” Patel posted on X (formerly Twitter), adding: “Now Congress can see how classified info was leaked to shape political narratives—and decide if our institutions were weaponized against the American people.”

Concerningly, the whistleblower told the FBI that Democrats on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence believed that they could end the Trump presidency with selective classified document leaks to the media. “Schiff believed Russia hijacked the election, and the United States was in the middle of a constitutional crisis. Classified information began leaking to the media. The Democratic minority leadership of HPSCI was aware of the leaks but was under the impression that leaking the information was one way to topple the administration and fix the constitutional crisis,” the whistleblower stated.

“Based on media reports, Mr. Adam B. Schiff has, in multiple instances, falsified bank documents and property records to acquire more favorable loan terms, impacting payments from 2003–2019 for a Potomac, Maryland-based property,” Pulte wrote in the referral.

At the center of the allegations is Schiff’s repeated declaration of both his California and Maryland residences as “primary residences” on mortgage applications. This move would violate federal rules permitting only one primary residence designation at a time. The referral cites instances in 2009, 2011, and 2013 where Schiff refinanced his Maryland home while simultaneously identifying a California condominium as his principal residence.

According to the referral, this dual-claim arrangement was not corrected until 2020, when Schiff reclassified the Maryland property as a secondary residence.

“Primary residence mortgages receive more favorable loan terms, including lower interest rates, than secondary residence mortgages,” Pulte stated in the referral. He further alleged that Schiff financially benefited from these misrepresentations through more advantageous refinancing rates and a property tax reduction on his California home totaling approximately $7,000.

The referral also draws broader connections between Schiff’s alleged misconduct and ongoing concerns about mortgage fraud involving Democratic Party officials. It references explicitly related allegations involving New York Attorney General Letitia James.

Senator Adam Schiff (D-CA), the mastermind behind the Russia hoax conspiracy targeting President Donald J. The far-left California Democrat, who is accused by the Department of Justice (DOJ) Office of the Inspector General of leaking classified materials to the corporate media to smear Trump over alleged ties to Russia, questioned Bondi on whether she intends to investigate Cheney for potential crimes relating to her actions on the January 6 Select Committee.

“I’m asking you, sitting here today, whether you are aware of a factual predicate to investigate Liz Cheney,” Schiff pressed during her Senate Judiciary Committee confirmation hearing on Wednesday. Bondi replied, “Senator, nobody has asked me to investigate Liz Cheney. That is a hypothetical.” Traditionally, cabinet and judicial nominees refrain from answering hypothetical questions, and the practice is generally frowned upon as a matter of Senate decorum.

Schiff pushed Bondi again, claiming that President-elect Trump has publicly called for Cheney to be investigated. Nonplussed, Bondi fired back at the California Senator, “You’re all so worried about Liz Cheney. You know what we should be worried about? The crime rate in California right now is through the roof. Your robberies are 87 percent higher than the national average.”


A recent investigation by the House of Representatives found that Cheney likely tampered with witnesses prior to their testimony before the Democrat-run January 6 Select Committee. According to the House findings, the former Congresswoman coached former Trump White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson on her testimony, urging her to alter parts of her story.

Consequently, President-elect Trump warned that Cheney “could be in a lot of trouble,” noting the House report asserts she likely broke several federal laws.

DOJ Inspector General Says Schiff and Swalwell Behind Russia Hoax Leaks.

The Department of Justice (DOJ) Inspector General (IG) released a report last week revealing Democrat Members of Congress and their staff actively leaked classified materials to the media to push the Russia hoax narrative against President Donald J. Trump during his first term in office. According to the report, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) was aware of the classified leaks and their sources but failed to pursue the matter adequately.

Representatives Adam Schiff (D-CA) and Eric Swalwell (D-CA) were named in the report as having purposely leaked classified documents to several corporate media outlets. The report states that a whistleblower who served as a Democratic staffer on a congressional committee identified the two California Democrats to the FBI. The whistleblower stated they “suspected that Member 1 had previously leaked classified information and that Member 2 wanted to influence public opinion via the release of classified information.”

Additionally, the IG report states a senior Democrat congressional staffer was found to be communicating with at least three members of the media who subsequently published classified information that he had access to. However, despite evidence of the leak being handed over to the FBI, the agency declined to investigate further. The New York Times identified the suspected leaker as Michael Bahar.

The investigation included reviewing the communications of several congressional staffers. The DOJ appeared to monitor both Republican and Democrat staff members, as well as nonpartisan positions. A total of 21 Democrats and 20 Republicans had their communications analyzed. The report states that no charges were filed despite various individuals being implicated in leaks.

FBI Director Confirms Trump Was Assassin’s Target, Images of Other Leaders Cached from News Searches.

Christopher Wray, the Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), for the first time confirmed that former President Donald J. Trump was the intended target of would-be assassin Thomas Matthew Crooks. According to Wray, the images of Joe Biden, Fani Willis, and other public officials found on Crooks’s electronic devices were merely cached images from news articles the 20-year-old gunman had read, and do not seem to be part of a target list.

In the week following the July 13 assassination attempt against former President Trump, multiple corporate media outlets, including CNN and The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, reported that law enforcement had photos of Biden, Willis, and former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani on Crooks’s cell phone. The reports insinuated that these public officials were also likely targets of the shooter and that the attack on Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania, was merely one of opportunity.

CACHED IMAGES AND JFK’S ASSASSINATION.

However, the FBI director’s testimony before the House Judiciary Committee on Wednesday has thrown cold water on the media’s misconstrual of Crooks’s intentions.

“The images that we’ve recovered so far from… appeared to be what we call cached images from searches of news articles,” Wray told the committee. “So if you do a news article search, of course, images—if there are photos on it—those photos get stored automatically in your cache, as opposed to… him searching for a specific person and getting up images of that person.”

Wray also noted that the shooter had searched how far Lee Harvey Oswald was positioned from President John F. Kennedy when fatally shot the late president in Dallas on November 22, 1963.

Representative Adam Schiff (D-CA), citing the reports of additional photos of public officials found on Crooks’s devices, still pressed Wray as to whether there were more targets.

“From that, any indication of any other particular target that is someone who was not just the subject of the search issue you just described but for which there was more of an interest than others?” asked Schiff, who was a ringleader of the Russia hoax scandal.

Wray responded, shaking his head ‘no,’ that the “information I just described, at the moment, does not appear particularly indicative of targeting in its own right.”

Russia Hoaxer Adam Schiff Calls on Biden to Drop Out of Presidential Race.

Representative Adam Schiff (D-CA) is calling on Joe Biden to drop out of the 2024 presidential race. “[O]ur nation is at a crossroads. A second Trump presidency will undermine the very foundation of our democracy, and I have serious concerns about whether the President can defeat Donald Trump in November,” said Schiff—who is running for U.S. Senate in California—in a public statement.

The far-left Democrat, who was a prime instigator of the Russia collusion hoax leveled against former President Donald J. Trump, continued: “While the choice to withdraw from the campaign is President Biden‘s alone, I believe it is time for him to pass the torch.”

The National Pulse reported earlier on Wednesday that former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA)—a close ally of Schiff—has been conspiring behind the scenes to push Biden out of the race. Over a series of individual phone calls, the former House Speaker has pressed members regarding their district polling and how donors have responded to the mounting concerns that Biden is cognitively unfit for office.

Among Democrats, Schiff was the most aggressive peddler of the Russia collusion hoax, which claimed Russia’s President Vladimir Putin had aided Trump‘s election to the White House in 2016. Subsequently, the accusations made by Schiff and his colleagues—including Pelosi—were determined to be completely unfounded.

However, despite Democrat accusations that Trump colluded with Russia being dismissed by several federal investigations, Schiff and Pelosi have continued to peddle the falsehood.
