The Corporate Media Is Trying to Whitewash an Illegal Immigrant’s Terror Ties.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: The corporate media is again attempting to portray an illegal immigrant with a concerning background in a positive light, seemingly to undermine public sentiment toward President Donald J. Trump’s nationwide immigration enforcement actions.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Ayman Soliman, the Cincinnati Enquirer, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and the former Biden government.

📍WHEN & WHERE: Soliman was recently detained by ICE after his asylum status was revoked by the former Biden government in 2024.

💬KEY QUOTE: “What my hometown paper [the Enquirer] doesn’t want to tell you is this Egyptian national was flagged on the FBI terror watchlist. He had his asylum status revoked by the *checks notes* BIDEN Administration.” — DHS Assistant Secretary of Public Affairs Tricia McLaughlin

🎯IMPACT: The situation mirrors a similar attempt by the corporate media to paint illegal immigrant and alleged MS-13 gang member Kilmar Abrego Garcia as a ‘Maryland man’ and ‘Maryland father.’

IN FULL

The corporate media have once again been caught attempting to whitewash an illegal immigrant‘s concerning background in an attempt to portray them in a sympathetic light and undermine President Donald J. Trump’s nationwide immigration enforcement actions. In this instance, Ayman Soliman—an Egyptian imam—who was detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), is being presented by the Cincinnati Enquirer as a “children’s chaplain” despite having had his asylum status revoked by the former Biden government in 2024 over his name being flagged on the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) terrorism watchlist.

Soliman’s portrayal by the corporate media is reminiscent of a similar attempt to paint illegal immigrant and alleged MS-13 gang member Kilmar Abrego Garcia as a ‘Maryland man’ or ‘Maryland father.’ Abrego Garcia is currently facing criminal charges related to human trafficking. In addition, Attorney General Pam Bondi alleges that Abrego Garcia was involved in drug smuggling, gun running, and abusing women and children.

Soliman, who did serve as a chaplain at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, was imprisoned several times for agitating in Egypt against the country’s government. Notably, opposition to the al-Sisi government is rife with Islamist elements tied to the radical Muslim Brotherhood.

“What my hometown paper [the Enquirer] doesn’t want to tell you is this Egyptian national was flagged on the FBI terror watchlist. He had his asylum status revoked by the *checks notes* BIDEN Administration,” Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Assistant Secretary of Public Affairs Tricia McLaughlin wrote in a post on X (formerly Twitter), blasting the newspaper’s framing of Soliman and his detention. The Cincinnati Enquirer has subsequently updated their story on Soliman, briefly noting the FBI terrorism flag but still attempting to portray the imam’s activities in Egypt in a positive light.

The Dutch Govt Has Collapsed Over Migration. Here’s Why…

PULSE POINTS:

What Happened: Geert Wilders, leader of the populist Freedom Party (PVV), withdrew his party from the governing coalition in the Netherlands, collapsing the government.

👥 Who’s Involved: Geert Wilders (PVV), Prime Minister Dick Schoof, center-right VVD leader Dilan Yesilgoz, Deputy Prime Minister Mona Keijzer of the  Farmer-Citizen Movement (BBB).

📍 Where & When: Netherlands, coalition collapsed after less than a year in office, starting July 2024.

💬 Key Quote: “No signature for our asylum plans. PVV leaves the coalition,” said Geert Wilders on X.

⚠️ Impact: Snap elections are expected, with asylum and immigration likely to dominate campaigns.

IN FULL:

The Dutch governing coalition has collapsed after populist leader Geert Wilders withdrew his Freedom Party (PVV) over disagreements on immigration policy. The coalition, which had been in power for less than a year, fell apart following Wilders’ demand for stricter asylum measures, including freezing applications and limiting chain migration, a.k.a “family reunification.”

Prime Minister Dick Schoof reportedly made a last-minute appeal to coalition leaders on Tuesday morning, but the meeting ended after just one minute when Wilders walked out. Wilders later posted on X, “No signature for our asylum plans. PVV leaves the coalition.”

The coalition, formed in July 2024 after lengthy negotiations, included Wilders’ PVV, the notionally conservative but largely liberal VVD, the upstart Farmers‘ Citizen Movement (BBB), and the marginally center-right New Social Contract.

VVD leader Dilan Yesilgoz called Wilders’s decision “super irresponsible,” while Deputy Prime Minister Mona Keijzer of the BBB accused Wilders of “betraying the Netherlands.” However, with PVV being the most successful party in the last Dutch election, many will argue it was incumbent on Wilders’s coalition partners to defer to him on his key issues of asylum and immigration.

The fallout has sparked speculation about snap elections, which could occur this autumn. Analysts suggest that Wilders will likely center his campaign on immigration issues. Wilders and the PVV came first in last year’s national elections, and polling suggests that the PVV remains ahead.

Prime Minister Schoof is expected to offer the cabinet’s resignation to King Willem-Alexander. While Schoof could attempt to lead a minority government, forming alliances with left-wing opposition parties is seen as unlikely. Leftist Labour-Green alliance leader Frans Timmermans, a former top European Union (EU) official, has already called for fresh elections.

Record Low Asylum Claims in European Country with ‘Zero Refugee’ Policy.

Asylum seeker admissions have been reduced to historic lows in Denmark after it implemented a “zero refugee” policy, despite the country being ruled by a government of social democrats. Denmark’s Prime Minister Mette Fredericksen has supported a tougher asylum seeker policy since coming into power in 2019, and has now managed to reduce approved asylum applications to just 860 last year.

Kaare Dybvad Bek, Denmark’s immigration minister, called the figure “historic,” making Denmark one of the countries that approved the fewest asylum seekers in the European Union in 2024. The EU member received a total of 2,500 asylum requests last year, while neighboring Germany received over 213,000 applications.

Denmark has also been at the forefront of European countries pushing for better migrant integration. In 2023, the country began destroying migrant no-go zones in an effort to stop the growth of parallel societies.

Vollsmose, a suburb of the city of Odense, was destroyed, with the migration-background residents later relocated to different parts of the city with lower populations of people from non-Danish backgrounds.

Other countries have also begun adopting policies similar to Denmark’s to reduce immigration and asylum claims. In Sweden, for instance, a right-wing government backed by populists claimed last year that more migrants had left Sweden than entered.

However, some noted that the Swedish claim may have been exaggerated, with the statistics possibly a result of the Swedish Tax Registry clearing its books of people who had already left Sweden.

Trans Migrant Granted Refugee Status Despite Pedophilia Conviction.

An Algerian migrant, referred to as Medhi F., has been granted refugee status in France despite a past conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. Medhi F., who identifies as transgender, had been sentenced in 2019 to four years in prison for the crime against a 15-year-old.

In 2020, Medhi sought asylum with the French Office for the Protection of Refugees and Stateless Persons (OFPRA), arguing that returning to Algeria would result in persecution due to his transgender identity. OFPRA rejected the application, but Medhi appealed the decision to France’s National Court of Asylum (CNDA). In 2023, the CNDA overturned OFPRA’s decision, claiming Medhi no longer posed a threat to society despite being a convicted pedophile.

OFPRA escalated the matter to France’s Council of State, but it upheld the CNDA’s ruling in July, declaring that being a convicted pedophile provides insufficient grounds to refuse or revoke refugee status by itself.

Former President Donald J. Trump has frequently lamented that “France is no longer France” and is warning against the U.S. following its path as a society ahead of the November elections.

“We’ve seen what happened when Europe opened its doors to jihad. Look at Paris, look at London; they’re no longer recognizable,” he said in May, adding, “We can’t let that happen to our country.”

9-Year Jail Term for Man Who Set Fire to Trash Can Outside Migrant Hotel.

A judge has issued the longest sentence to date linked to recent anti-immigration riots in the United Kingdom, sending painter-decorator Thomas Birley to prison for nine years after he set fire to a small trash can outside a Holiday Inn Express hotel near Rotherham on August 4.

Judge Jeremy Richardson at Sheffield Crown Court described Birley’s case as among the most serious connected to the Rotherham riot. During the incident, Birley, 27, was recorded adding wood to a burning trash can that had been pushed against the hotel, which was housing illegal migrants and asylum seekers. He further contributed to the hazard by stacking another bin on top, resulting in a conviction for arson with intent to endanger life.

In addition to the arson charge, Birley threw objects at police officers. Staff at the hotel testified that they feared for their lives, believing they were in imminent danger of burning to death due to the small trash-can fire.

By comparison, an “asylum seeker” who already had a criminal record was sentenced to just six months for attempting to burn down a hotel in 2023. Another with a similar case received just three years. In 2021, 13 migrant men were released without charge after attempting to burn down an army barracks being used to house them.

The riots erupted across England and Northern Ireland following the fatal knifing of three girls in Southport, northwest England, on July 29. Hundreds of individuals have been charged in connection with the riots. The UK judiciary is expediting these cases, resulting in significant sentences for those directly involved in violent acts and for inciting violence online.

Just three weeks ago, Judge Richardson told another suspect he was handing down a longer prison sentence “because of the racialist backdrop, which was a major component of this public disorder.”

More than 200 people have been sentenced in connection with the disorder, ranging from a 13-year-old to a 69-year-old.

EU Pushes ‘Migrant Pact’ In Last Ditch Move to Halt Populist Surge in Continent-Wide Elections Next Month.

In an attempt to starve the populist right of political capital, the European Union (EU) has endorsed vast reforms to its asylum system to address the controversial issues that arose due to unregulated migration during the 2015 migrant crisis. The reforms were approved as part of The New Pact on Migration and Asylum, a set of legislative changes aimed at handling unauthorized entries more effectively.

Despite opposition by Hungary and Poland, other EU member states embraced the revisions eagerly, hoping they will resolve disagreements that have been simmering since the sudden influx of over a million migrants, primarily from war-torn areas like Syria and Iraq.

These changes, however, will not be implemented until 2026, deferring any immediate solution to the issue that has split nations over their responsibilities towards migrants. Critics have expressed concerns that this pact may end in more exploitative agreements with poorer nations that people flee or traverse to reach Europe.

In the new system, countries of first arrival will screen migrants and store the information in a new database, Eurodac. If the law is enacted and enforced fully by member countries, the newly approved reforms will mark a significant shift in the EU’s handling of migration, giving countries a degree of flexibility in lending asylum support while ensuring stricter border protocols. This change has already received pushback, notably from Hungary, spotlighting challenges that lie ahead in the implementation process.

Concerns over mass migration have been a driving factor in increasing European support for right-wing populist parties, such as Alternative for Germany (AfD) in Germany, Party for Freedom (PVV) in the Netherlands, and National Rally (RN) in France. Right-wing populist parties have seen a surge in support over the last few years and are expected to make significant gains in the European elections next month.

CNN Anchor Begs Biden to Adopt Trump’s Immigration Policies.

CNN’s Fareed Zakaria is urging Joe Biden to adopt Donald Trump’s immigration policies. “The whole system is broken, and Biden needs to confront that and say, you know, ‘We are going to have to reform the whole system,’” he said.

“I would wish he’d do something much more extreme,” Zakaria said. “Like, say ‘the old asylum system is dead. No one is coming in through that process. You have to apply from your home country.’”

When interviewer Margaret Hoover pointed out that this was the “Trump policy,” the CNN host stumbled over his words slightly but acknowledged she was essentially correct.

“Which was a Trump– and also the Mexico, let– you know, you have to be in Mexico to apply,” he said, referencing Trump’s ‘Remain in Mexico’ policy.

“I think that’s all correct.”

Zakaria predicts adopting Trump’s policies will give Biden a better “political chance” in November. However, he also stresses the Trump policy is “the right policy, because the old asylum system is being gamed by millions of people.”

Immigration now ranks among inflation and the economy as one of voters’ top concerns. This includes among Democrats. Biden rates far below Trump in terms of his effectiveness on immigration and a range of other issues.

A majority of Americans believe Biden is actually encouraging illegal immigration to create a “permanent majority” for his party.

‘Britain Will Be Unrecognizable’ – UK Registers RECORD Migrant Numbers.

Data released by Britain’s Home Office has revealed that the “Conservative” government granted asylum to a record number of applicants in 2023. The government granted 62,336 people refugee status or similar protection — over a 300 percent increase from the 18,185 granted asylum in 2022 and a 475 percent increase over the 13,103 granted asylum in 2021. In addition to the record number of asylum seekers, the government also issued 1.4 million visas.

By comparison, net migration was at around 300,000 people per year in the run-up to the Brexit vote in 2016. Successive “Conservative” governments have only worsened this situation, leading to fresh calls for a change in government, and a poll boost for Brexit leader Nigel Farage’s Reform Party.

Conservative MP and former Home Secretary Suella Braverman slammed the figures as a “national disaster,” saying the current levels of asylum and immigration “cannot go on” and will leave the UK “unrecognizable” if allowed to continue.

“1.4 million people were granted visas here last year. Asylum approvals at a record high. Work & student visa numbers, including many dependents, are appalling. This cannot go on: we don’t have enough homes, GPs or schools to support this level,” Braverman posted on X (formerly Twitter).

“The [Prime Minister] must adopt policies I pushed for that would have prevented this national disaster: we need a cap on overall numbers. Britain will be unrecognisable if this carries on. It’s not what the British people, including me, voted for.”

The figures are significantly higher than previously reported by the government. Last year, it was revealed that the Conservative-led government also deported the lowest-ever number of failed asylum seekers. In January, an Afghan asylum seeker who was denied asylum twice before finally succeeding perpetrated a vicious chemical attack in London, injuring 12 people.

Britain’s ‘Conservative’ Party Lets Another 51,000 ‘Asylum’ Claimants In, Highest Since Records Began.

UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak announced that a historic number of over 112,000 asylum claims were cleared last year, exceeding his target of 92,000. The total includes finalizing over 77,000 cases with 51,469 claims granted asylum. This figure surpasses the previous record of 33,460 in 2002 and is the highest number since record-keeping began in 1984. Sunak claimed that clearing the asylum claim backlog will save taxpayers millions of pounds on hotels and reduce strain on public services.

The Prime Minister’s announcement received backlash from political opponents. “In an effort to rush through the asylum backlog, this morning Rishi Sunak boasts he has granted 50,000 new applications,” said former Brexit Party Leader Nigel Farage. “The Conservatives have failed us all.”

Shadow Immigration Minister Stephen Kinnock denounced the Prime Minister’s claims as false, asserting the backlog has soared to 165,000 under the current government, and accusing the Chancellor of breaking his promise to end asylum hotel use. “Rishi Sunak’s promise made a year ago to end asylum hotel use has been disastrously broken – with a 20 per cent increase to 56,000, costing the British taxpayer more than £2billion a year,” Kinnock noted. “This is yet more evidence of an asylum system broken by the Conservatives.”

U.S. Govt Asylum Officer is Former Palestinian Spox Who Promoted Hamas.

A U.S. Asylum Officer tasked with deciding who should be granted legal status in America celebrated the Hamas attacks on Israel by posting pictures of armed terrorists paragliding into the Jewish State.

Nejwa Ali worked as a public affairs officer for the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) before she was hired by the Department of Homeland Security to adjudicate asylum claims for U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). She described herself as “American born, Palestinian [at] heart” on her social media, which was filled with anti-Israel rhetoric.

“Palestine will be free one day. F*** APARTHEID Israel and any Israeli that supports that bulls***. F*** you, may Allah forgive you. and spare us the crocodile tears, I sure as hell give zero f***s,” Ali wrote in one Instagram post.

“F*** Israel and any Jew that supports Israel,” she said in a similar Facebook post.

Elsewhere, Ali declared “Israeli, American privilege is disgusting,” and that she “hold[s] every Israeli accountable for their governments [sic] actions, IF they do not speak against Israel.”

USCIS insisted “applicants seeking employment with USCIS are thoroughly vetted and subject to extensive security and background checks before they can receive a permanent position with the agency” when asked about Ali.

It is unclear whether this is a lie, given her previous employment and social media activity, or if USCIS was aware of her behavior and hired her anyway.
