Nearly 70 percent of Americans believe the situation at the U.S.-Mexico border is a “crisis” and nearly two-thirds of Americans believe the massive influx of illegals into the country constitutes an “invasion.”
A recent survey by Rasmussen Reports found that 69 percent of Americans believe there is a “crisis” at the border, and 64 percent believe this crisis is an “invasion.” The poll found that more than half of Democrats — 51 percent — believe the border situation is a crisis and nearly half — 46 percent — also agree that “invasion” is an accurate term to describe it.
On the question of whether these issues represent a significant national security concern, a strong 71 percent agreed while just 19 percent disagreed.
The survey, the results of which are almost unchanged since Rasmussen asked the same questions in January, comes as House Republicans prepare to submit articles of impeachment against Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas next week. Mayorkas faces impeachment for his role in the Biden government’s intentional mishandling of the border crisis. Nearly two-thirds of Americans support the impeachment proceedings against him.

American families have experienced an astronomical rise in energy costs under Joe Biden. The cost of electricity, especially, has hit American households hard — well-outpacing inflation with a 29.4 percent jump in price since 2021. In fact, the increase in electricity prices is almost double that of inflation — with prices rising thirteen times faster than they had in the seven years prior to 2021.
Meanwhile, gasoline prices also continue to hit American pocketbooks hard. Though prices have fallen off their peak from 2022, the cost of gasoline remains 52.1 percent higher than it was when Biden first took office. The Biden government has depleted much of the Strategic Petroleum Reserve in an effort to bring down gasoline costs. However, the relief has only been temporary, with prices again starting to rise across the country.
Additionally, President Joe Biden claimed his government’s massive green energy investments would reduce energy costs. The Inflation Reduction Act, a legislative cornerstone of Biden’s term in office, allocated $369 billion to environmental and energy projects. Despite the spending, however, the legislation appears to have had little impact on overall energy costs for the average American.
Energy costs play a significant role in the Consumer Price Index. On a monthly basis, prices rose by 0.4 percent — primarily driven by shelter and gasoline, which contributed more than half of this increase.
It is not just energy costs hitting Americans, but even prices related to the energy sector have seen crippling increases. The National Pulse previously reported that energy commodity prices have spiked by 47.6 percent since 2021. Additionally, leasing costs for cars and trucks are up 45.0 percent over the same period.

Joe Biden’s campaign is increasing its ad presence in Arizona with a seven-figure spend aimed to tie former President Donald Trump to strict pro-life court rulings. The primary message of these ads is a focus on recent events surrounding the state’s Supreme Court upholding an 1864 law that effectively prohibits nearly all abortions.
The campaign, with its advert titled “Power Back,” is making significant efforts to link former President Trump with the almost total ban on abortions, drawing on Trump’s appointment of three conservative judges who played pivotal roles in the 2022 Dobbs decision that overturned Roe v. Wade.
The ads will run on selected television programs this month, seeking to reach younger female and Latino viewers in particular. Alongside Biden’s campaign, the Democratic National Committee also plans to launch a billboard campaign across Tempe and Phoenix, putting the spotlight on Trump’s role in Arizona’s abortion ban.
Despite the message of Biden’s Arizona ad campaign, Trump has made it clear he does not support a strict blanket ban on abortion. Though he suggested that abortion regulations should remain a state decision, he expressed concerns about the Arizona court’s ruling. He has advocated for abortion exceptions in cases of rape, incest, and when the mother’s life is in danger.

The Bidengovernment announced it will grant $6.6 billion to Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company’s (TSMC) Arizona subsidiary. The firm’s president, Brian Harrison, is the former chief executive of Solyndra, a solar energy company that took $500 million in government loans from the Obama government before collapsing. In addition, the subsidy raises national security concerns as TSMC continues to source some equipment used in semiconductor fabrication from mainland China.
Harrison acknowledged appealing for federal funding for the semiconductor firm last year. The cash infusion is part of the CHIPS and Science Act, aimed at advancing domestic chip manufacturing and countering China’s hold over the industry.
In October last year, the Biden government issued a sanctions waiver allowing several chip makers to purchase critical technology from suppliers located in mainland China, despite concerns the equipment could be compromised by Chinese Communist intelligence. TSMC and Samsung — who agreed to construct semiconductor facilities in the United States — received waivers.
President Joe Biden backed the substantial monetary support to TSMC and lauded the benefits it will supposedly bring, despite the Obama regime’s experience with Solyndra. Following the solar firm’s collapse, an inspector general investigation found it had misled government officials, noting the “actions of certain Solyndra officials were, at best, reckless and irresponsible or, at worst, an orchestrated effort to knowingly and intentionally deceive and mislead the Department [of Energy].”
Obama reduced the Energy Department’s loan office resources following the Solyndra fiasco, but Biden has now expanded them substantially, arming the department with funds for green energy loans to the tune of $400 billion.
Republicans have already raised concerns about the loan office’s director, Jigar Shah, having alleged conflicts of interest with loan recipients and warned that waste under Biden will make the Solyndra losses look like “chump change.”

Joe Biden appeared to forget that it is the 21st century during a joint press conference with Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida.
Following an inquiry from a journalist about the Arizona Supreme Court’s decision to uphold a 19th-century law that bans abortion from the moment of conception, Biden responded by saying: “Elect me. I’m in the 20, 20th century.”
Biden’s repeated gaffes and memory lapses have led many to believe the octogenarian president is suffering from significant cognitive decline. A recent poll revealed that only 38 percent of probable voters for the 2024 presidential election believe he will see through another term.
Biden recently appeared to indicate that he wanted people to remember his presidential legacy as having something to do with ending the Vietnam War. He also seemed to forget his own name during an address in Washington, D.C on Tuesday. In a report released earlier this year explaining his decision not to pursue charges against Biden for his mishandling classified information, special counsel Robert Hur described the 81-year-old as a “well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory,”

Donald Trump has thrown down the gauntlet to Joe Biden to debate him on the direction of the United States under his stewardship, pledging to face the Democrat “anytime, anywhere, anyplace.”
“It’s time for Crooked Joe Biden, the worst president in the history of the United States, and I to debate,” Trump said in a video posted to Truth Social.
“We have to talk about what he’s doing and where we’re going,” he continued.
“We owe it to our country, we owe it to all Americans. Anytime, anywhere, anyplace!”
Trump’s public challenge follows legacy broadcasters ABC, CBS, CNN, NBC, and Fox News drafting a joint letter urging the former president and the incumbent to “publicly commit to participating in general election debates before November’s election.”
Biden, 81, has repeatedly declined to commit to debates currently set for September and October, fearing the Commission on Presidential Debates will be unable to impose its rules on Trump once they are face-to-face.

Americans are forgoing meals in order to be able to afford housing. According to a recent survey by the real estate platform Redfin, 20 percent of Americans said they have skipped on food to put money towards their rent or mortgage instead. Over a third of respondents said they sacrificed vacations in order to keep up with their housing payments.
“Housing has become so financially burdensome in America that some families can no longer afford other essentials, including food and medical care, and have been forced to make major sacrifices, work overtime and ask others for money so they can cover their monthly costs,” said Chen Zhao, Redfin’s economics research lead.
The survey indicates that elevated mortgage rates, reaching an all-time high of 8 percent last year, have burdened American homeowners and potential buyers. Despite a slight decrease, these rates remain around the 7 percent mark. As a consequence, the median monthly mortgage payment rose to $2,700, marking an increase of more than 9 percent compared to a year ago. This rise in mortgage rates deterred prospective buyers from property purchases, increasing demands in the rental market and subsequently driving rent prices up as well.
Redfin reports a need for American buyers to earn a minimum of $114,000 to afford a typical American home, a significant leap from the median household income. The survey further highlighted the generational difference in financial coping strategies, with 13.5 percent of millennials and over a quarter of baby boomers dipping into their retirement savings to manage housing costs.
The Redfin survey reveals the extent to which Americans are struggling to survive in an economy governed by Bidenomics. The average rent for Americans has increased over 20 percent since Joe Biden took office.

Joe Biden appeared to indicate that he wants his presidential legacy to be that he reduced the prospect of war in Vietnam.
Biden’s comments came during an interview on Mexican-American network TelevisaUnivision. “Well, I hope the legacy is that I kept my word that I said that the reason I was running was to help change the life of ordinary people and reduce the prospect of war, because of Vietnam.”
The Vietnam War ended 48 years ago, in 1975, just over two years after Biden first assumed his seat in the U.S. Senate. When Biden was first campaigning for the Senate in 1972, he did not run on an anti-war platform. In his own words, he was “not big on flak jackets and tie-dye shirts” and professed a “lack of moral outrage” about the war.
The octogenarian president has faced increasingly widespread concerns over his mental faculties. Just this week, Biden appeared to forget his own name during a speech in Washington, D.C.

A federal judge sentenced Florida woman Aimee Harris to one month in prison and three month’s home detention for stealing and selling a diary that belonged to Ashley Biden, Joe Biden’s daughter. Harris turned the diary over to Project Veritas in return for $20,000 out of the total $40,000 payout. The President’s daughter had left her diary at a friend’s residence in Delray Beach, Florida, trusting it to be secure.
Judge Laura Taylor Swain pronounced the sentence in a Manhattan federal court on Tuesday, calling Harris’s actions “despicable.” Before turning to Project Veritas, Harris, along with Robert Kurlander, attempted to sell the diary to President Trump’s 2020 campaign.
A SOFTER SENTENCE.
Harris expressed remorse for her actions, appealing to her life experience marked by domestic abuse and her responsibility as a single parent as extenuating factors. “I do not believe I am above the law,” Harris said. “I’m a survivor of long-term domestic abuse and sexual trauma,” she told the judge.
Although Harris received a one-month prison sentence, the Justice Department was seeking a sentence of four to 10 months in prison. It sought a harsher sentence after Harris failed to appear at numerous sentencing dates. Her defense argued she missed the court appearances as she was caring for her children, aged 8 and 6.
However, the prosecutor countered that Harris consistently displayed disrespect for the law, asserting that Ashley Biden was the true victim in this situation. Harris is expected to begin her prison term in July.
DISTURBING REVELATIONS.
The diary in question contained numerous troubling entries, including one suggesting Ashley Biden may have had an inappropriate relationship with her father, Joe Biden, with whom she apparently took showers.
“Was I molested? I think so — I can’t remember specifics but I do remember trauma. Hyper-sexualized @ a young age . . . I remember being somewhat sexualized with Caroline; I remember having sex with friends @ a young age; showers w/my dad (probably not appropriate),” Biden wrote.

Former DNC Chair Donna Brazile expressed dissatisfaction over media coverage of Joe Biden, suggesting that no one seems to pay attention when Biden speaks. Brazile made her remarks on ABC’s “This Week” during a discussion about U.S. policy toward Israel and whether Biden needs to communicate more directly about events like the conflict in Gaza.
“Absolutely. Not just in Israel, Ukraine. We are a superpower. He is the Commander In Chief. Absolutely, he should speak out more,” she said. “Also we should cover what he’s saying because often when he speaks, nobody listens.”
Brazile’s comments come amidst ongoing complaints from the White House about the media’s reporting on Biden’s age and cognitive decline. Washington reporters covering the Biden government have expressed increasing fatigue over what many are interpreting as unjustifiable criticism from the White House.
Fox News contributor Joe Concha responded to Brazile’s criticism by suggesting that Biden’s heavily scripted persona might contribute to the lack of attention he receives. Former ESPN host Sage Steele recently revealed that network executives entirely scripted her interview with Biden.
Concha also raised concerns over Biden’s tendency to blunder when speaking spontaneously, often leading to awkward, puzzling statements, or even outright inaccuracies, thus necessitating follow-up clarifications from his communications team.
