Anti-Trump Prosecutor Linked to Anti-Conservative Lawfare Dating Back to 2011!

Matthew Colangelo, assisting the George Soros-backed District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s prosecution of Donald Trump, oversaw the Voting Section of the Justice Department, which reportedly coordinated with a former affiliate of the disgraced Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) during the Barack Obama administration.

Documents uncovered by Judicial Watch in 2011 suggest the Project Vote organization had high-level access to the Voting Section of the Justice Department under Obama. A contemporary report on the findings characterizes the documents as revealing “how left-wing civil rights groups work against Republican or conservative candidates by attempting to leverage law enforcement against them.” Colangelo is listed among the high-level Justice Department officials to whom the groups had access.

The Project Vote group appears to have recommended hires to the Voting Section and to have directed Voting Section resources against conservatives trying to combat voter fraud.

Colangelo is reported to have used the Voting Section to block state election integrity laws on multiple occasions during the Obama administration. Voter ID in South Carolina was among the measures he blocked. Future Donald Trump Supreme Court pick Brett Kavanaugh later ruled he acted unlawfully.

‘PRESSING CONCERNS.’

Multiple employees of ACORN, with which Project Vote was formerly affiliated, were convicted of crimes related to voter registration fraud during the George W. Bush and Obama administrations.

Matthew Colangelo’s resignation from the Department of Justice to join DA Bragg’s team had already seen Republican lawmakers warn the Joe Biden regime may be directly involved in his notionally state-level prosecution of Trump.

“The fact that Colangelo stepped down from a senior DOJ role to join a prosecution team in a city DA office raises some pressing concerns,” commented Rep. Lance Gooden (R-TX) earlier this month. He has requested “immediate access to all records and communication in relation to the Department of Justice and the Manhattan District Attorney General’s Office process of hiring Matthew Colangelo.”

BlueAnon’s Latest Conspiracy: A Trump Body Double!

A social media post by boxer Ryan Garcia has sparked a storm of conspiracy theories among far-left, online ‘BlueAnon’ activists who claim former President Donald Trump is using a body double. The former President and Garcia appear exceptionally youthful in the photo, drawing attention from internet conspiracy enthusiasts.

While some suggested Trump has had cosmetic surgery, including Botox, other left-wing internet users went more far-a-field with why the former President appeared so different. A video of Dick Gregory, a comedian and social critic, began circulating on social media featuring him claiming there are two Donald Trumps. The clip of Gregory appears to be from 2016, during the election cycle, and just a year before the comedian’s death.

“First, there’s two Trumps,” Gregory claims — appearing erratic and sometimes impaired in the video. He continues, “The one in the red tie is real. The one in the blue tie is not. The one you saw last night after the victory was the blue tie.”

The conspiracy theory of “Two Trumps” quickly took hold among social media’s BlueAnon activists — a nickname for far-left conspiracy theorists. Despite the Gregory video and their instance that the man in the Garcia photo is not the real Donald Trump, there is a more than reasonable explanation for the differing appearance.

Snapchat and X (formerly Twitter), the two social media mediums used by Garcia to document his visit with Trump and friends at Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills hotel, make filters and other touch-up tools available to their users. In all likelihood, Garcia used an app like Facetune to touch up the photo before posting it and subsequently sparking the conspiracy theory among leftists.

Trump: Netanyahu Has Been ‘Rightfully Criticized.’

Former President Donald Trump says Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin ‘Bibi‘ Netanyahu has been “rightfully criticized” for his country’s intelligence failures in the lead-up to the Hamas terrorist groups’ barbaric attack against Israel on October 7, 2023. In a lengthy interview with Time magazine, Trump spoke in depth on the nuances of America’s relationship with Israel but didn’t demur on what he thinks are failures on Netanyahu’s part.

“Bibi Netanyahu rightfully has been criticized for what took place on October 7,” the former President said. Earlier, Trump expressed dismay that the Israeli Prime Minister appears to have ignored mounting evidence that Hamas had been planning a large-scale attack. He said: “I would say that what happened on—October 7 should have never happened… They have the most sophisticated equipment. They had—everything was there to stop that.”

FATE OF THE HOSTAGES.

Addressing the grim reality of the fate of the hostages taken by the Hamas terrorists on October 7, Trump explained that the terror group’s disregard for human life has likely resulted in the death of many of those taken. “And I happen to think that on the hostages, knowing something about the enemy, and knowing something about people, I think you have very few hostages left,” Trump said.

ON BENNY GANTZ.

While the former President offered sharp criticism of Netanyahu‘s inaction and the barbaric actions of Hamas, Trump did signal an openness to working with other Israeli leaders. When asked if he’d rather work with a Benny Gantz-led Israeli government, Trump said: ” I think Benny Gantz is good, but I’m not prepared to say that.”

Gantz is a retired Israeli Defense Forces general who served as the country’s defense minister from 2021 to 2022, as well as eventually deputy prime minister. Despite his tenure in the Bennett-Lapid government, Gantz currently serves as a minister without portfolio in the Netanyahu government as part of the War Cabinet formed after the October 7 Hamas terror attacks.

Considered the most prominent opponent of Netanyahu, Gantz has said he will move to topple the unity government unless the Prime Minister secures the release of the remaining hostages held by Hamas.

Bill Barr Tries To Explain This Trump Thing to the Media (Who Still Don’t Get It).

Former Attorney General Bill Barr recently explained to CNN‘s Kaitlan Collins that the media too often takes the alleged comments of former President Donald Trump too literally. During an interview last week, Collins pressed Barr on allegations made by former White House communications director Alyssa Farah Griffin that Trump had called for a White House staffer to be executed for leaking to the media.

“I remember him being very mad about that,” Barr recalled to Collins. He continued, noting that the former President was angry but not being serious: “I actually don’t remember him saying ‘executing’ but I wouldn’t dispute it, you know… The president would lose his temper and say things like that. I doubt he would’ve actually carried it out.”

Barr explained to Collins that Trump‘s offhanded remarks were made in an effort to blow off steam or as a bit of gallows humor. He said the media and critics often take Trump “too literally.” He reiterated, dismissing the ginned-up concerns of the corporate media: “Having worked for him and seen him in action, I don’t think he would actually go and kill political rivals and things like that.”

Earlier this month, Trump‘s former Attorney General said he’d support his one-time boss in the upcoming 2024 presidential election. Barr argued that the choice for him boils down to a “duty to pick the person I think would do the least harm to the country.” He said, “a continuation of the Biden administration is national suicide, in my opinion.”

WATCH: James Carville Has Meltdown at Young Voters for Refusing to Back Biden.

James Carville, famed Clinton-aligned Democrat strategist, scolded America’s young voters for not being more enthusiastic about the 81-year-old Joe Biden‘s re-election campaign. Carville engaged in a protracted, curse-laden rant during Sunday’s episode of “James Carville Explains” aimed at young voters who he thinks are too preoccupied with the Israel-Hamas war and Biden’s age.

“If Trump and Roberts and Alito and Gorsuch and Thomas and Leonard Leo and the Heritage Foundation, if they get a hold, there will be no government left, there will be no rights left, you will live under theocracy, you’ll end up with Christian nationalism,” Carville said, before continuing: “But that’s all right, you little f*cking 26-year-old, you don’t feel like ‘the election’s important to me. They’re not addressing the issues that I care about.’”

Biden’s re-election campaign has seen a steep decline in support among the youth vote since Israel‘s war against the Hamas terrorist group began late last year. In the expletive-filled diatribe, Carville argued that television news talking heads and Democrat operatives haven’t made the stakes of the 2024 election clear to young voters, allowing pet progressive issues to drive a wedge between them and the Biden campaign.

“So, my advice to tell these young people to get off your motherf*cking ass and go vote because you should vote like your entire future and the entire future of this United States depends on it,” the Clinton-era Democrat strategist said. He continued: “We have people saying, ‘I’m just not into this election, James.’ I think they’re both too old and they’re not speaking to the issues that address me.”

“Oh, really? You’re full of shit. Go look at what’s going on around you,” Carville added.

Former Biden Staffers Demand New Rules to Assist Joe During Debate.

Ron Klain, the former White House Chief of Staff for Joe Biden, confirmed the Democrat incumbent will debate his challenger, former President Donald Trump. However, Klain added the stipulation that the debates would only happen under certain “rules” to prevent a “shouting match.” Last Friday, Biden committed to participating in at least one presidential debate before the November election, stating: “I don’t know when, I’m happy to debate him.”

During Sunday’s edition of MSNBC’s Inside With Jen Psaki, Klain told the host and former Biden press sectary that the Democrat’s presidential campaign would need guarantees that “rules are going to have to be enforced.” Paski pressed her former White House boss on what rule changes the Biden campaign wanted to see, with Klain mostly focusing on complaints about Trump‘s debate style in response.

“I think what we have to see is something different than we saw in 2016 and 2020, where the debate commission lost control of the debates, Trump didn’t follow the rules at all, he talked over his opponents, there wasn’t a fair division of time, it was more a spectacle than a debate,” Klain said. He added: “But we need to have debates where the candidates get equal time, where there is an orderly way of proceeding, where they can be heard, where it’s not a shouting match, where the American people can compare the two people who are the leading candidates for president.”

Former President Trump, responding to Biden committing to debate on Friday, posted on Truth Social an invitation to debate “anytime he wants.” The former President even suggested a nationally televised debate at the Manhattan courthouse where he’s currently fighting the Biden government’s lawfare campaign against him.

‘I’ll Take a Muslim Ban Over Genocide’ — Michigan’s Arabs Resolute in Forcing Biden Out.

The perception that Joe Biden is unmovable in his support for Israel’s war against the Hamas terrorist group may already have delivered a mortal wound for his presidential re-election efforts in Michigan. Despite Biden campaign officials attempting to shore up support among Arab-American and Muslim voters, some are insinuating they’d rather see former President Donald Trump returned to the White House.

Palestinian-American comedian Amer Zahr puts the problem Biden faces among the crucial demographic for Michigan Democrats in stark terms. “What do they say? ‘What are they going to do, vote for the guy that banned Arabs?’ And the answer is yes,” he said. He continued: “Imagine thinking it’s a good argument to say to a community that has lost 30,000 people, ‘Watch out for the guy that’s going to ban you.’ You’re really asking me whether I’m going to take a ban or a genocide? I’ll take a ban.”

“If it came down to Trump and Joe Biden, I will vote for Trump. Because it doesn’t get worse than Joe Biden,” a Dearborn man identified as Salah said in a recent interview with Slate. A man named Amad added, “Biden was supposed to be the peacemaker. The comfort-maker. Instead, he became accessory to the biggest genocide in modern history.”

While the Biden campaign has intensified efforts at outreach among Michigan’s large population of Muslim voters, the Middle Eastern residents of the state seem to believe it is too little too late.

“We want to show a shift from the 2020 election to 2024. That they are not only losing the presidency, but they are losing the constituency,” Salah said. Another man, named Mohamed, said he cast his primary vote for former President Trump in the state’s primary and intends to vote for him in the November general election as well. As it stands, Biden currently trails Trump in most presidential election polls in Michigan.

CONFESSION!? – Foreign, Far-Left Daily Beast Editor Admits to Being Source for Anti-Trump ‘Catch & Kill’ Claims Which Led to Manhattan Trial… Did It All To Keep His Visa!?

Lachlan Cartwright appears to have confessed to being one of the most critical sources for the “catch and kill” claims against President Donald J. Trump, as well as the initial ‘hush money’ story published in the Wall Street Journal just days before the 2016 presidential election. During his time as executive editor with the National Enquirer, Cartwright claims he was intimately involved in the tabloid publication’s work to protect certain individuals from negative press and to direct scathing stories at others.

In a lengthy essay for The New York Times, the former tabloid editor describes these efforts in great detail, shedding more light on the origins of Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s prosecution of former President Trump. Additionally, Cartwright admits he promoted the narrative that the tabloid acted under the direction of Trump.

Even more troubling is his admission that his decision to serve as a confidential source was primarily motivated by a need to retain his U.S. work visa and rehabilitate his byline after working for the Enquirer. An Australian national, Cartwright went on to serve as an editor at large for the far-left Daily Beast website and is currently a special correspondent for The Hollywood Reporter.

ALL FOR A WORK VISA.

In his essay, Cartwright readily admits that after leaving the Enquirer, he worked as a source—with no compensation—for several national news publications as a means of integrating himself back into corporate journalist circles. He says this was prompted after he already technically left his role with the tabloid in July 2017, but remained listed as an employee as part of his severance agreement. This allowed him to retain his U.S. work visa as an Australian national.

According to Cartwright, in October 2017, his attorney received a letter from the National Enquirer‘s then-parent company, American Media, Inc. (AMI), which threatened a termination of employment per the severance agreement. This, the letter noted, would result in him losing his work visa and subsequent deportation from the U.S. The letter suggested they believed he was behind several leaks to national media outlets regarding the Enquirer’s involvement in purchasing and burying stories on behalf of several notable public figures.

Now, several years after the letter, Cartwright admits AMI’s suspicions were correct. He also suggests his work as a confidential source on AMI likely contributed to his gaining employment with the far-left Daily Beast.

ORIGIN OF “CATCH AND KILL”?

Cartwright claims he first heard the term “catch and kill” from an unnamed colleague. The phrase was used in conjunction with a $30,000 payout by AMI to Trump Tower doorman Dino Sajudin. According to the doorman, Trump had fathered a love child in an affair. However, Cartwright says the tabloid’s investigation into the matter found Sajudin to be unreliable, noting the man’s claims were unfounded. Despite Cartwright and his colleagues concluding that Sajudin’s story was likely untrue, he says AMI CEO David Pecker authorized a $30,000 payment to the doorman anyway.

“I stressed to him the importance of the term ‘catch and kill’…

– Lachlan Cartwright

Cartwright says the second occasion he heard the term “catch and kill” was in relation to former Playboy Playmate Karen McDougal’s alleged affair with Trump. At the time, McDougal was being represented by Hollywood entertainment lawyer Keith Davidson.

The confirmed connection with Keith Davidson raises questions about the “catch and kill” term’s origins. During his testimony in the hush money trial, David Pecker insisted “catch and kill” was not a term used by AMI or the National Enquirer. However, as The National Pulse’s Editor-in-Chief, Raheem Kassam, reported last week, the phrase has a history of being used in connection with Hollywood, and disgraced film producer Harvey Weinstein.

SOURCE FOR THE WALL STREET JOURNAL.

“Catch and kill” made its first appearance in connection to former President Donald Trump in a November 4, 2016, story in the Wall Street Journal detailing the alleged payments and nondisclosure agreement between AMI and Karen McDougal. Cartwright admits to being the newspaper‘s source and using the term “catch and kill’ when speaking with reporter Lukas Alpert.

The WSJ story from 2016.

According to Cartwright, Alpert had never heard the phrase prior to his use of it.

“I stressed to him the importance of the term ‘catch and kill‘ and told him that if the Journal included it, it would give me some breathing room,” Cartwright wrote, recalling their conversation. In addition, Cartwright says he broke into the safe where the Sajudin nondisclosure agreement was kept and supplied details from the document, including names of individuals involved, to the Wall Street Journal.

THE TRUMP NON-CONNECTION.

The most glaring omission from Cartwright’s recollection of events is that he can never definitively connect former President Trump to any of AMI’s actions prior to the 2016 election. He either assumes a connection or makes innuendo to one, but the former editor for the Daily Beast is careful never to claim Trump actually directed any of his or David Pecker’s actions. In fact, Cartwright strangely only mentions Michael Cohen, Trump’s then-personal attorney, in passing — despite the District Attorney’s office insisting that Cohen was heavily involved with Pecker, AMI, and the National Enquirer‘s senior staff in executing the “catch and kill” operations.

Cartwright admits that he also spoke to the New York Times after the paper broke the Harvey Weinstein story and detailed the National Enquirer‘s handling of the McDougal allegations. Regarding his conversations with the newspaper, Cartwright admits he “stressed that the real story was the Enquirer’s work on behalf of Trump.” He has yet to provide any evidence of this claim.

The Australian national’s essay for the New York Times could have serious implications for Bragg’s prosecution of Trump.

Cartwright appears to be not only an originator of the “catch and kill” phrase now being bandied about by the District Attorney‘s office but also the source for the idea that the tabloid worked on behalf of the Trump campaign. The fact that Cartwright admits to opening an AMI safe and leaking documents and other materials to competing news outlets calls into question not only his ethics but also his credibility.

Biden Breaks Records… for WORST Approval Ratings Since WWII!

Joe Biden’s approval rating 13 quarters into his first term is the worst of any post-World War II U.S. President — significantly behind Donald Trump, Richard Nixon, or Jimmy Carter at the same point in their presidencies. Gallup gives the 81-year-old Democrat an approval rating of 38.7 percent, making him the only president to be below 40 percent at this point in his term.

The polling firm notes that rated against 314 quarterly average rankings for presidents since 1945, Biden’s current numbers place him 277th, in “the bottom 12 percent of all presidential quarters.”

George H.W. Bush Sr. is the next-worst performer after Biden, suffering a 41.8 percent approval rating during his 13th quarter in 1992. He was not reelected. Among all the presidents with approval ratings under 50 percent at this stage in their terms, Barack Obama was the only one reelected. His approval rating was 45.9 percent, over seven points clear of Biden today.

There is no sign in Gallup’s polling that Biden’s standing with the public is improving — his current quarterly average is “technically the lowest of his presidency to date,” they note — and his approval has not been above 50 percent since his second quarter.

“With about six months remaining before Election Day, Biden stands in a weaker position than any prior incumbent, and thus faces a taller task than they did in getting reelected,” the pollster observes.

This is borne out in other polls, which show Trump leading Biden in six of seven swing states at present. Numerous polls over recent months have the 45th President leading his successor in most key battlegrounds, sometimes in all seven of them.

Biden is also faltering among demographics that supported him mostly strongly in 2020, such as young and black voters.

Michael Cohen Is Grifting TikTok Cash in Trump Trial Livestreams.

Disgraced attorney Michael Cohen may face sanctions in the Manhattan-based Trump “hush money” trial even though he has yet to testify. Last Tuesday, Cohen took to TikTok to discuss the trial details with tens of thousands of listeners. “Trump 2024?” Cohen said before adding: “More like Trump 20-24 years.”

Cohen went on to use the Chineseowned social media app to discuss his history with former President Donald Trump, his thoughts on the trial, and the testimony of other witnesses so far. Even more concerning is that it appears the disgraced lawyer, who was dubbed “perverse” by a federal judge in late March, is personally profiting from his social media appearance on TikTok.

While Cohen‘s social media activity is ethically dubious and will likely further damage his already tattered credibility, it does not appear to violate any standing court order for those involved in the trial other than former President Trump and his attorneys. Judge Juan Merchan, who presides over the case, enacted a gag order that only affects Trump at the request of Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg.

After the former President began publicizing that Merchan’s daughter is a well-connected Democrat fundraiser with ties to national party leaders, including New York Attorney General Letitia James, the judge expanded the order to include himself and family members.

Earlier on Monday, Cohen said he’d cease his social media posts, still striking a defiant tone. “I am not the defendant in this criminal matter and am not the subject of Judge Merchan’s gag order. Donald is,” the disgraced and ethically challenged lawyer said in a statement. He added: “Nevertheless, I elected, out of respect to the court and the prosecutors, to cease commenting on Trump and this matter; which I have done.”
