Trump Tells Israel to ‘Finish Up’ in Gaza Amidst Waning Support.

Former U.S. President Donald Trump urged Israel to conclude its war in Gaza, noting widespread global disapproval. Trump specifically expressed concern about images from Gaza showing bombs hitting residential buildings. This represents Trump’s most pronounced comments on the conflict following Hamas’s October 7 attacks and the subsequent Israeli defense.

“You have to finish up your war … You gotta get it done. And I am sure you will do that. And we gotta get to peace, we can’t have this going on,” Trump said in an interview with Israeli newspaper Israel Hayom. “And I will say, Israel has to be very careful, because you’re losing a lot of the world, you’re losing a lot of support,” he said. “Israel has to get better with the promotional and with the public relations because right now they’re in ruin.”

Trump also asserted that Joe Biden‘s long-standing foreign policy weaknesses led to the conflict. “He can’t talk. He’s a very dumb person. He’s a dumb person. His foreign policy throughout 50 years has been horrible,” Trump said. “If you look at people that were in other administrations with him, they saw him as a weak, ineffective president, they [Hamas] would have never done that attack if I were there.”

Trump’s comments follow Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s decision to cancel a trip to Washington after a U.N. Security Council resolution called for a ceasefire in Gaza, with the U.S. abstaining.

As Trump highlighted during the interview, global perception of — and support for — Israel has declined significantly as its war against Hamas has progressed. The Jewish state has faced numerous demands for a ceasefire, and a number of foreign powers have openly discussed imposing a two-state solution in the region.

Dems Capitalizing On Untraceable Political ‘Dark Money.’

Democrat-aligned election groups are raking in dark money donations ahead of the 2024 election, according to campaign finance watchdog OpenSecrets. The group says that an unprecedented amount of untraceable funds is expected to flow to political groups. In 2023, an estimated $160 million in dark money was donated to political committees, a record-breaking figure for this point in any election cycle following the Citizens United v. FEC Supreme Court ruling.

The report showed that Democrat-friendly groups received about $84.5 million from undisclosed sources, while their Republican counterparts pulled in just over $74 million. Undesignated groups, referred to as ‘others,’ accounted for a comparatively small $2.4 million in political expenditure. OpenSecrets highlights a trend of Democrat groups consistently receiving more support from anonymous donors since the 2018 election cycle.

Federal law demands that SuperPACs disclose their benefactors. However, 501(c)(4) nonprofits, often referred to as social welfare organizations, are not legally bound to reveal their donors. Consequently, these nonprofits can funnel donations to political committees and make independent expenditures of their own, effectively enabling the influx of untraceable funds into politics.

Regarding specific organizations, Americans for Prosperity Action, backed by the neo-liberal Koch network, was identified as the top recipient of dark money contributions in 2023, having received $25 million. On the political left, Senate Majority PAC — which seeks to expand the Democrat Senate majority accepted over $16.7 million, the highest amongst Democrat-friendly groups. At the same time, its Republican equivalent, the Senate Leadership Fund, reported just $6.2 million in dark money donations.

Trump Responds as Appeals Court Humiliates Engoron, Slashes Bond Payment to $175M.

A New York appeals court has granted former President Donald Trump an additional 10 days to post his bond in the New York fraud case against him, leveled by far-left Attorney General Letitia James and presided over by anti-Trump judge Arthur Engoron.

Additionally, Trump is now only required to pay $175 million to fulfill the civil fraud judgment, as opposed to the ludicrous $464 million levied by Engoron.

Responding to the ruling, President Trump posted on Truth Social:

Judge Engoron has refused to obey the decision of the Appellate Division relative to the Statute of Limitations. This is a confrontation between a Judge and those that rule above him – A very bad situation in which to place New York State and the Rule of Law! Engoron has disrespected the Appellate Division and its very clear and precise ruling. He should be made to do so, and at the same time, release the GAG ORDER. This is the 5th time in this case that he has been overturned, a record. His credibility, and that of Letitia James, has been shattered. We will abide by the decision of the Appellate Division, and post either a bond, equivalent securities, or cash. This also shows how ridiculous and outrageous Engoron’s original decision was at $450 Million. I DID NOTHING WRONG, AND NEW YORK SHOULD NEVER BE PUT IN A POSITION LIKE THIS AGAIN. BUSINESSES ARE FLEEING, VIOLENT CRIME IS FLOURISHING, AND IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT THIS BE RESOLVED IN ITS TOTALITY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. THANK YOU!

He added:

Judge Engoron and Letitia James should be forced to explain why he ruled that Mar-a-Lago was worth $18,000,000 when, in fact, it is worth from 50 to 100 times that amount. How did the Attorney General of the State of New York force this Corrupt Judge to do that in order to help her narrative – AND WHY?

Biden Says It’s Trump Fault That Violent Migrants Are Breaching the Border.

President Joe Biden’s White House says former President Donald Trump is to blame for a viral video of illegal immigrants rioting at the southern border. The dramatic footage of illegal immigrants overwhelming the Texas National Guard and tearing down barriers circulated widely on Thursday. The White House claimed that Trump’s opposition to the Senate’s Ukraine and U.S. border security funding bill was to blame for the chaos.

“When the former President told Congressional Republicans to block the bipartisan border security agreement – he said to blame him for it. Well, he got his wish, and the result was chaos after Governor Abbott’s Operational Lone Star and razor wire were overrun yesterday. While we cannot comment on individual cases, anyone who does not have a legal basis to remain in the United States is promptly removed,” a White House spokesman said.

Barring the fact that the latter part is not true, the idea that the border being insecure due to Donald Trump is a farce which was also repeated on the Bill Maher Show this weekend.

Initially unveiled in February, the Senate bill sought to allocate $60 billion in aid to Ukraine, $14.1 billion to Israel, and $20 billion for border-related initiatives. Former President Trump and several Republican leaders, however, opposed the bill, which drew criticism for being a guest worker program disguised as border security. The Biden re-election campaign has criticized Republicans for balking at the legislation, arguing Trump’s seemingly political opposition is detrimental to efforts in resolving the border crisis.

Congressional Republicans have pushed legislation to crack down on violent immigrants in the country illegally. In early March, the House of Representatives passed The Laken Riley Act in response to the murder of the 22-year-old Georgia nursing student by an illegal Venezuelan immigrant. House Democrats overwhelmingly opposed the bill, with 170 voting against it.

Meanwhile, President Biden — despite increasing pressure and voter criticism for his government’s inaction to stop the invasion of illegal immigrants — has backed down from the possibility of using executive action to address the crisis. After initially signaling his openness to using presidential authority to address border security, the Democrat incumbent abandoned the effort in the face of resistance from pro-immigration and radical progressive activists.

‘Vanity Fair’ Says Trump Is a Violent Threat to Democracy, Despite Its Own Sources Disagreeing.

A roughly 1,000-word article published in Vanity Fair on Friday does its best to inculcate its readers with the notion that former President Donald Trump and his millions of MAGA supporters are a violent threat to democracy. Its sources suggest otherwise.

The article, titled “Election Workers Are Bracing for Another Barrage of Trump Threats,” makes its thesis clear: “[M]onths of ‘rigged election’ conspiracy theories, harassment of election officials (and even individual poll workers), and underhanded schemes to overturn Trump’s election loss gave way to violent insurrection. Now, as he runs to return to power, Trump is once again raising the prospect of political violence…”

Presumably, if the MAGA movement’s ‘threat’ to democracy in general and poll workers in particular were so strong (and violent), poll workers would be resigning their positions in droves. Not so. Quoting Robert Stein, an elections expert at Rice University, the article states that the allegedly “hostile environment over the last four years hasn’t seemed to deter temporary poll workers; his research indicates they remain ‘very committed’ to the groundwork of democracy. ‘They take seriously what they’re doing.’”

Lisa Deely, an election worker and the main subject of Vanity Fair’s article, also seems unperturbed by the supposed specter of political violence emanating from Trump and his supporters and makes it clear that she does not truly believe she is in any real danger:

“Deeley… said she is bracing for the political temperature to start ‘climbing higher again’ as general election season begins in earnest. Has that ever made her consider leaving the profession herself? ‘Honestly, yes,’ she told me… But then, ‘there’s the other side: I feel a responsibility,’ she said. ‘So I’m not going anywhere.’”

With Bidenomics an abject failure and Biden’s foreign policy record just as bad, “threat to Democracy” is the only thing left with which the Biden campaign and its supporters have to message. If Vanity Fair‘s latest contribution to those efforts is anything to go by, it won’t work.

Trans Columnist Says ‘Trump Regime’ Would Persecute Opponents, Though Most Would Find it ‘Tolerable’.

Brynn Tannehill — a transgender activist, opinion columnist, and technical analyst with the RAND Corporation — is continuing the proliferation of the Trump ‘bloodbathlie peddled by the corporate media allies of the Biden government. However, the RAND Corporation analyst adds additional hysterics in his essay for The New Republic — with predictions that a new Trump presidency will result in political persecution and a fascist dictatorship, a civil war, balkanization, or a split into two Americas.

The RAND Corporation analyst also claims he has “something of a track record of predicting the outcomes of elections involving Trump,” adding that he predicted post-2016 election “unrest.” Tannehill also makes the absurd claim that there was a wave of state-level anti-trans legislation that made most of the country “a no-go zone for trans people.”

DEMOCRAT SWEEP IN 2024.

According to Tannehill, if Joe Biden is re-elected and Democrats control both houses of Congress after 2024, Trump supporters “will be incited to violence.” However, Tannehill contends it will play out much like the January 6, 2021, Capitol riots. From here, he dives into the fantastical, theorizing that Republican-controlled states will ignore federal authority with Supreme Court backing and effectively divide the nation in two.

REPUBLICAN COUP AGAINST BIDEN.

If Biden wins re-election but Republicans retain the House, Tannehill predicts Speaker Mike Johnson will refuse to certify the election — and despite not being a cabinet member, Johnson will invoke the 25th Amendment to remove Biden from office. In effect, this would allow House Republicans to elect Trump as President. Tannehill claims that the U.S. military would put down any resistance to the move after Trump invokes the Insurrection Act.

TRUMP ‘MASSACRES’ RESISTANCE LIBS.

In the instance that Trump wins the Electoral College but loses the popular vote, Tannehill predicts Republicans will institute ‘Christian Nationalism.’ This, he contends, will result in an America with “no immigrants, no trans people, no Muslims, no abortion, no birth control” and federally funded Christian schools. Tannehill then fantasizes about a revolt by Democrat states, which Trump puts down with massacres under the auspices — again — of the Insurrection Act.

FASCIST AMERICA.

Tannehill’s final fantasy is one in which Donald Trump wins both the Electoral College and the popular vote. In this instance, the RAND analysis says democracy will die, and fascism will be enshrined in America. “For most people, life will be boring and tolerable. For the people targeted by the regime, it will not be easy to survive in the U.S. It will also lead to a wave of people (particularly trans individuals) attempting to flee to other countries,” Tannehill says of his final scenario.

National Review Defends ABC, Stephanopoulos Against Trump.

The National Review claims that former President Donald Trump’s defamation lawsuit against the ABC News network and George Stephanopoulos is a “dud.” Andrew C. McCarthy, a contributing editor to the once venerable conservative publication and former Assistant U.S. Attorney, argues Stephanopoulos’s claims that the former President was ‘found liable for rape’ — while ‘inaccurate’ — are not ‘false.’ The ABC News host made the false assertions during a hostile interview with Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) in early March.

Earlier this week, attorneys for former President Trump filed a lawsuit against ABC News in response to Stephanopoulos’s claims made during the Mace interview. The National Pulse previously reported that the filing alleges Stephanopoulos and ABC knowingly disseminated false information during the show, “This Week with George Stephanopoulos,” mischaracterizing court verdicts and thereby damaging Trump’s public standing. Trump’s attorneys contend that while a civil court found the former President liable for “sexual abuse,” he was not found liable for rape.

McCarthy, however, contends that Stephanopoulos’s distinction between sexual abuse and rape doesn’t constitute defamation. “Nevertheless, inaccurate is not the same as false, which I don’t believe the partisan commentator’s statement was,” the former U.S. Attorney writes, adding: “Trump, moreover, did not suffer any material harm.”

The National Review writer continues, stating, “I don’t believe there would be a viable defamation case against Stephanopoulos even if Trump weren’t a public figure.” McCarthy concludes that, in his opinion, the “allegedly defamatory statement is not actionable” and was not made with “actual malice or reckless disregard for the truth.”

McCarthy does, at least, acknowledge that Stephanopoulos is “a partisan hack” who defended former President Bill Clinton against credible sexual assault allegations.

Left-Wing Mag Admits Trump NYC Fine is Politically Motivated.

Leftist magazine The New Republic (TNR) admits that the fine Judge Arthur Engoron handed former President Donald Trump for alleged business ‘fraud’ in New York is exceptional and politically motivated.

Writes TNR:

Is New York State treating Donald Trump differently from other real estate scofflaws in requiring him to disgorge $454 million by Monday? Yes. Would another such person who lied to banks and insurance companies about the value of his real estate holdings become the target of a major investigation by the state attorney general? Probably not. Was Judge Arthur F. Engeron, in handing down last month his $454 million judgment against Trump, trying to banish Trump from New York’s real estate industry? Possibly so.

TNR then goes on to quote a number of sources explaining how and why Engeron’s move is unprecedented. Clifford Robert, one of Trump’s lawyers, explains that the fine is “’the definition of an unconstitutional Excessive Fine and a Taking’ because, should Trump win on appeal, he’ll have suffered ‘harm that cannot be repaired.’”

Rich Lowry of the National Review observes that, “Tish James has used the power of the state to attempt, with some success so far, to destroy [Trump’s] business that he’s built over decades and humiliate him personally.”

Even the Washington Post, TNR points out, ponders if it is “fair to require Trump to post a bond of this magnitude to be able to appeal the judgment against him?”

TNR’s concession follows a similar admission from The New York Times that Trump’s bond in the case is “impossible” to pay.

Of course, putting Trump in an impossible situation may well have been the point. Attorney General Letitia James is already moving to seize Trump’s real estate assets.

‘Make New York Great Again!’ – Trump Posts Special Message to Hometown.

President Donald J. Trump posted a special message to New York on Friday afternoon, railing against the leftist judge Arthur Engoron, as well as Attorney General Letitia James.

“Arthur Engoron is a Rogue Judge who was intimidated by the big, nasty, and ugly mouth of [Letitia] James, considered by many to be the WORST Attorney General in the U.S. She is a Low IQ individual who campaigned for Governor, using my name, and got TROUNCED,” Trump characteristically stated.

“She and her PUPPET Engoron, who valued Mar-a-Lago at $18,000,000 when it is worth 50 to 100 times that amount, have destroyed all business prospects for New York State, that is already dying, or dead. But have no fear —When I become the 47th President, we will MAKE NEW YORK GREAT AGAIN!” he concluded.

The message comes on the heels of Trump remarking that he was going to be making a “big play” in New York state, with a possible Make America Great Again rally slated for the Bronx neighborhood, and even Madison Square Garden.

Ronna McDaniel Works for MSNBC Now. Seriously…

Former RNC chairwoman Ronna McDaniel has signed a deal to appear as a political commentator on NBC and MSNBC news programs. McDaniel resigned as chairwoman of the Republican Party earlier this month after she faced mounting criticism over questionable expenditures and lackluster fundraising. North Carolina Republican chairman Michael Whatley and former President Donald Trump’s daughter-in-law Lara Trump, who will serve as co-chairs, have replaced McDaniel.

NBC and MSNBC are billing the hire of McDaniel as the addition of a critical conservative voice who will represent the supporters and views of former President Donald Trump. “It couldn’t be a more important moment to have a voice like Ronna’s on the team,” said NBC news editor Carrie Budoff Brown in a memo to staff. She added that Ronna McDaniel will provide “an insider’s perspective on national politics and the future of the Republican Party.”

MSNBC RONNA.

McDaniel will also appear on MSNBC, providing insights into the 2024 presidential election. The leftwing news network has become the hub for anti-Trump voices in the corporate media. MSNBC’s on-air talent has a long history of making absurd claims and pushing pro-Democrat propaganda.

In mid-March, MSNBC host Joy Reid accused conservative lawmakers of “demagoguing” over the murder of 22-year-old Georgia nursing student Laken Riley, allegedly by Venezuelan illegal alien Jose Antonio Ibarra. Reid added that “migrant crime is negligible,” so the legislation — in her opinion — isn’t needed at all.

‘AKIN TO DEFEATING HITLER.’

Mike Barnicle, a seemingly immovable fixture on MSNBC’s Morning Joe, has compared the efforts to defeat Donald Trump to World War II and the fight of American GIs against Adolf Hitler. Other MSNBC guests have backed restricting First Amendment rights, smeared Christians, and attacked rural Americans as ‘cultists.’

The move by McDaniel marks the latest attempt by a Republican Party official to cash in on a media contract. Speculation continues to mount that Rep. Ken Buck (R-CO) is retiring mid-term from Congress to pursue a contributor contract with a major corporate news network that some believe is CNN.
