Alabama GOP Answers Trump’s Call to Honor Motherhood by Protecting IVF.

Alabama Governor Kay Ivey has signed a bill protecting doctors who provide in vitro fertilization (IVF) and their parents from prosecution after Donald Trump called on the state to preserve access to the treatment.

IVF had been paused in Alabama as a result of the state supreme court ruling frozen embryos must be regarded as children. IVF generally results in the creation of several embryos that are not used or cannot be used, and the ruling saw hospitals suspend fertility treatments for fear they could be prosecuted for disposing of these.

Trump urged the Republican-led state legislature to “act quickly to find an immediate solution to preserve the availability of IVF in Alabama,” stressing the GOP should “always be on the side of the Miracle of Life – and the side of Mothers, Fathers, and their Beautiful Babies.”

It has now done so, with Gov. Ivey signing its bill and explaining, “Alabama works to foster a culture of life, and that certainly includes IVF.”

“I am pleased to sign this important, short-term measure into law so that couples in Alabama hoping and praying to be parents can grow their families through IVF.”

SCOTUS Will Hear Donald Trump’s Presidential Immunity Claim on April 25.

The Supreme Court has scheduled April 25 to hear oral arguments regarding former President Donald Trump’s presidential immunity claim, which would end DOJ special prosecutor Jack Smith’s federal case against Trump for alleged election interference. The justices will weigh whether a former president is immune from criminal charges for acts carried out while in office.

This hearing is crucial to both Trump and Smith, as the justices could take several months post-oral presentations to decide on the matter. If the Supreme Court rules against Trump’s claim, Smith’s prosecution will move forward and potentially coincide with the November presidential election. The case, pushed by President Joe Biden’s Department of Justice, has been put on hold pending the high court’s verdict on Trump’s assertion of immunity.

US District Court judge Tayna Chutkan — presiding over Smith’s federal prosecution of Trump — previously ruled against the former President’s immunity claim. Her decision was appealed to the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia. Last month, the federal appellate court also ruled against Trump, setting up the former President’s appeal to the Supreme Court.

The Supreme Court’s decision will likely end the legal uncertainty surrounding presidential immunity and could potentially set a legal precedent for future cases involving ex-presidents.

Trump Meets With Musk, Fueling Speculation.

Elon Musk — the world’s second richest man — privately met with former President Donald Trump on Sunday in Palm Beach, Florida. Several Republican mega-donors also attended the meeting, according to the New York Times. As Trump prepares to mount a general election campaign against President Joe Biden, it remains unclear if Musk will financially back or endorse Trump’s potential 2024 presidential bid.

In recent weeks, Musk has clarified that he believes President Joe Biden must be defeated in the November 2024 presidential election. If Musk decides to back former President Trump’s effort to retake the White House, he could use some of his $200 billion net worth to erase Biden’s current fundraising advantage in the contest.

The tech entrepreneur and billionaire has leveled criticism against both Biden and Trump in the past. Last year, he indicated his tacit support for Florida Governor Ron DeSantis in the Republican presidential primary. DeSantis dropped out of the Republican contest after his double-digit loss to Trump in the Iowa Republican Caucus.

On the same day Musk met with Trump, the tech mogul made several posts on X (formerly Twitter) — which Musk owns — criticizing the Biden government’s open border immigration policies. He also announced his support for several Republican candidates, including Marty O’Donnell, a Republican congressional hopeful in Nevada, and Jeremy Sylestine, a district attorney candidate in Austin, Texas.

Taylor Tells ‘Swifties’ To ‘Vote The People Who Most Represent YOU.’

Taylor Swift took to Instagram on Tuesday morning to encourage her fans — referred to as “Swifties” — to vote in the Super Tuesday primary elections. The pop singer has thus far refrained from endorsing any candidates in the 2024 presidential election, despite speculation she may back President Joe Biden.

The mega-star urged her fans to support politicians who best represent their interests but made no formal endorsements. “I wanted to remind you guys to vote the people who most represent YOU into power. If you haven’t already, make a plan to vote today,” she said.

Swift’s notable lack of a direct endorsement for any candidate comes amidst wide speculation among national political circles regarding her potential influence on the election. Many analysts have highlighted the enormous power of Swift’s social media presence and zealous fanbase. In past years, the singer was known for mobilizing her fans to contribute to various causes, drawing the attention of high-profile figures such as NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell. The Biden and Trump campaigns have expressed their regard for Swift’s potential influence.

Swift has remained coy about whether she will endorse a candidate in the upcoming presidential election. If and who Swift might endorse has drawn increasing public debate. In 2020, Swift endorsed Joe Biden against then-President Donald Trump. She also backed several Democrat candidates in Tennessee during the 2018 mid-term elections.

Charles Barkley Threatens to PUNCH Black People Wearing Trump’s Mug Shot – ‘I Mean That Sincerely.’

NBA Hall of Famer Charles Barkley threatened to punch any black person wearing an image of former President Trump’s mug shot.

“First of all, I’m just going to say this: If I see a black person walking around with Trump’s mug shot, I’m [gonna] punch him in the face,” said Barkley in a conversation with Gayle King.

“Charles, you really can’t say that, ’cause, A, you don’t mean that,” King responded, to which Barkley replied: “Oh, I mean that sincerely.”

His comments came in response to an earlier claim by Trump that his popularity among black Americans surged following his arrest. The former President noted that some Black people have worn t-shirts featuring his mug shot. Barkley claimed that Trump’s remarks were “an insult to all Black people.”

This isn’t the first time Barkley has spoken against the former President. Previously, Barkley criticized Trump for using what he termed “pseudo-racist rhetoric” when discussing immigration policy.

Trump has yet to respond to Barkley’s remarks.

Fani Willis Lied About Affair, Says NEW Witness in Trump Case.

Defense attorneys for David Shafer, one of former President Donald Trump’s co-defendants in the Georgia election interference case, say they have a new witness to testify that Fulton County District Attorney and special prosecutor Nathan Wade perjured themselves regarding the start of their romantic relationship. In a filing on Monday, Shafer’s attorneys asked Judge Scott McAfee to reopen evidence to include testimony from Cindi Lee Yeager, a deputy district attorney in a neighboring county.

According to the filing, Yeager is prepared to testify that Wade’s divorce lawyer, Terrence Bradley, told her that the romantic relationship between Willis and Wade began in 2019. Defense lawyers for former President Trump and his fellow co-defendants have moved to disqualify Willis and Wade from the RICO case, alleging the romantic relationship between them resulted in the improper hiring of Wade, prosecutorial misconduct, and the misuse of public money.

Yeager states in the filing that: “Mr. Wade had definitively begun a romantic relationship with Ms. Willis during the time that Ms. Willis was running for district attorney in 2019 through 2020.” Additionally, Yeager says she overheard a phone call in late 2023 between Willis and Terrence Bradley after the press began reporting on Wade’s lucrative salary. “They are coming after us,” Willis is alleged to have said, according to Yeager’s account of events, with Willis continuing: “You don’t need to talk to them about anything about us.”

Late last month, Bradley testified during the disqualification hearing that he had not interacted much with Willis. “My interaction with Ms. Willis was never where I would pick up the phone and talk to her,” Bradley told Judge McAfee. Last Friday, attorneys for both sides gave their closing arguments. Judge Scott McAfee is expected to rule regarding Willis and Wades’s disqualification within the next week.

WATCH: Voter Tells Fox News Live That She Won’t Vote ‘Menopausal’ Nikki Haley.

A female Texas voter said she would not vote for a woman for President, especially Nikki Haley, who she called “menopausal.”

The voter’s comments came during a live Texas voter segment on Fox & Friends after reporter Will Cain announced that former First Lady Michelle Obama said she would not run for President in 2024. The woman Cain was speaking with — sitting in a diner booth with her husband — cheered the news, saying: “Thank God, yes!”

“I wouldn’t vote for a woman,” the woman told Cain. She added, “And especially, you know, Nikki Haley, I’m just going to say this, she’s probably menopausal. We don’t need that.”

Fox News host Ainsley Earhardt tried to cushion the woman’s comments. “You don’t want a woman that is not the right woman. Look at the stark contrast of Nikki Haley and Kamala Harris,” Earhardt said from the Fox News studio. She added: “Yeah, two totally different individuals that could be President one day. And they’re completely different. So you don’t, she’s absolutely right. And you don’t want a woman who doesn’t want to be President running for President.”

Haley, the former Governor of South Carolina, has refused calls for her to drop out of the Republican presidential primary. Former President Donald Trump, the presumptive Republican nominee, has handily won all but one of the early primary contests. The only win notched by Haley was the relatively inconsequential Republican primary contest in Washington, DC.

Trump Wants Fresh E. Jean Carroll Trial.

The legal team representing former U.S. President Donald Trump has filed a motion for a new trial as part of the ongoing battle in a defamation case involving writer E. Jean Carroll. They also requested the judge presiding over the case to annul the court-imposed $83 million judgment.

Attorneys Alina Habba and John Sauer stated in their case, “…a district court may grant a motion for a new trial if the verdict is against the weight of the evidence.”

The Trump legal team further contested the size of the award, which they say is highly excessive. Habba mentioned that the jury’s compensatory and punitive awards were disproportionate. She argued these awards were driven more by sympathy than by concrete evidence and, hence, should be annulled.

The legal counsel for Carroll, Roberta Kaplan, chose not to comment.

Jamie Raskin Says He’ll Introduce Legislation To Disqualify Trump From Ballot.

Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) has announced he’s drafting legislation in collaboration with other Democrats, including Reps. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) and Eric Swalwell (D-CA) aimed to disqualify former President Donald Trump from the November presidential ballot. The move directly responds to a unanimous ruling by the U.S. Supreme Court, which maintained Trump’s eligibility to run for office in Colorado and other states.

The proposed legislation seeks to leverage section three of the 14th Amendment, asserting that individuals who’ve committed insurrection should be disqualified from holding office. “The House of Representatives already impeached Donald Trump for participating in insurrection by inciting it. So, the House has already pronounced upon that,” Raskin said during a Sunday appearance on CNN.

On Monday, the Supreme Court overturned a decision by Colorado’s state supreme court that disqualified Trump from the Presidency, citing the 14th Amendment’s insurrection clause. In the unanimous decision against Colorado, the justices wrote: “We conclude that States may disqualify persons holding or attempting to hold state office. But States have no power under the Constitution to enforce Section 3 concerning federal offices, especially the Presidency.”

While the Supreme Court’s ruling ended Democrat efforts in several states to bar Trump from the presidential ballot, Raskin and his Democrat co-sponsors believe his legislation is an alternate legal pathway to end the presumptive Republican nominee’s eligibility. The National Pulse has previously reported that some Congressional Democrats are also considering refusing to certify the 2024 election results should former President Trump recapture the White House.

THE QUIET PART OUT LOUD – Top Dem Lawyer Marc Elias Boasts That Trump Can’t Get Fair Trial in D.C.

Marc E. Elias, a prominent Democratic election attorney, raised concerns about the potential impartiality of a Washington, D.C. trial for former President Donald Trump in the wake of his primary defeat to Nimarata ‘Nikki’ Haley.

“In a city of 700,000, Donald Trump got 676 votes in the GOP primary. A tough jury pool,” Elias posted on X (formerly Twitter).

Elias, founder of the “Democracy Docket,” often represents Democrats in cases related to election disputes. He played a significant role in the 2016 and 2020 presidential elections, advocating for changes to voting laws that proved to be crucial for Democratic turnouts in critical states.

Former President Trump is facing criminal charges led by Special Counsel Jack Smith in the District of Columbia in connection to his efforts to contest the 2020 election outcome. Although generally involved in voting issues, Elias played a pivotal role in pushing the “Russia collusion” hoax.
