Axios: Biden’s Running a Fear Campaign, and Many Around Him Think It’s Not Working.

Senior Democrats are increasingly skeptical of Joe Biden’s fearmongering election strategy. Biden’s approach, focusing on January 6 and Donald Trump’s sham conviction in Manhattan, has the support of Biden’s inner circle, led by longtime aide Mike Donilon. They believe emphasizing the supposed threat to democracy will resonate with voters despite other critical issues like the economy and immigration dominating public concern.

Polls consistently show Biden either trailing or tied with Trump, with only a slight uptick, at most, following his lawfare conviction. Still, Biden’s core team remains steadfast in its commitment to the January 6 narrative. In March, Donilon predicted that as polling day draws near, the election’s “focus will become overwhelming on democracy,” and “the biggest images in people’s minds are going to be of January 6.”

Donilon thinks the 2017 protest, in which the only fatality was an unarmed woman shot by Capitol police, is comparable to 9/11, with close to  3,000 fatalities. He suggests that, as 2004 was “a 9/11 election,” 2024 will be a Jan 6 election.

“It is unclear to many of us watching from the outside whether the president and his core team realize how dire the situation is right now, and whether they even have a plan to fix it. That is scary,” a Democrat strategist told Axios.

The left-leaning news outlet notes, “Even with a once-in-a-century pandemic, Biden barely beat Trump by less than 45,000 votes across three states.”

Polling data indicates significant slippage in Biden’s support among crucial Democratic constituencies. Latinos, black voters, young voters, and union members are all turning away from him.

Democratic strategists increasingly fear the 81-year-old’s team is out of touch with the electorate’s priorities.

Bannon Files Emergency Motion to Stay Out of Jail.

War Room host Stephen K. Bannon is requesting that a federal appeals court allow him to remain out of prison while he appeals his conviction on contempt of Congress charges. On Tuesday evening, Bannon filed an emergency motion with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit. This request aims to overturn a lower court’s ruling from last week ordering Bannon, 70, to begin a four-month prison sentence starting July 1.

Bannon has asked the D.C. Circuit to expedite its decision by June 18. This timeframe would allow him to appeal to the Supreme Court if necessary. Bannon was found guilty of two counts of contempt of Congress in 2022. He had declined to comply with the corrupt January 6 Committee because Donald Trump had invoked executive privilege.

Attorney Trent McCotter, representing Bannon, argues imprisonment will hinder Bannon’s ability to advise in the ongoing election campaign. McCotter highlights that many Americans look to Bannon for information on important campaign issues before the November election.

Raheem Kassam, Editor-in-Chief of The National Pulse, has argued Bannon is a lawfare target for precisely this reason.

“[T]hat’s what Biden’s [Department of Justice] and their cronies really, truly fear,” he said of Bannon. “It’s not just, hey, here’s a guy that gets in front of a microphone and screams bloody murder all day long about what the globalist left is doing… [Bannon] actually gets people up off their couches, up off their seats; helps them to register for precint strategy; helps them to register for canvassing and campaigning,” Kassam stressed. “It’s his phrase, it’s catchphrase: ‘Action, action, action’—and that’s what they want to stop.”

Bannon’s sentence mirrors that of former Trump adviser Peter Navarro, who is currently serving a four-month sentence for contempt of Congress. Navarro also sought to remain free pending an appeal, but the Supreme Court denied him.

Democrats Are Now STALKING Supreme Court Justices (In Their Own Words!)

Far-left activist Lauren Windsor posed as a Catholic conservative to secretly record Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito and his wife at a gala in Washington, D.C., last week.

During the conversation, Alitowho has been the target of the far-left for weeks since their failed attacks on Justice Clarence Thomas – expressed doubts about the possibility of compromise between the political left and right in America.

“There can be a way of working, a way of living together peacefully, but it’s difficult, you know, because there are differences on fundamental things that really can’t be compromised,” Alito said in the secret recording handed to Rolling Stone magazine. He implied that compromise on significant ideological issues may be unattainable given heightened political rhetoric among lawmakers and voters.

“People in this country who believe in God have got to keep fighting for that, to return our country to a place of godliness,” Windsor, posing as a conservative, asserted.

“I agree with you, I agree with you,” Alito responded. Democrat lawmakers and their corporate media allies jumped on Alito‘s comments as evidence that he is incapable of being impartial as a Supreme Court justice. However, in context, his remarks reveal little beyond the fact that Alito is a devout Catholic guided by his Christian moral framework—like many Americans. These interactions were captured in edited recordings and subsequently posted on social media on Monday.

Windsor defended her tactics by claiming, “I understand there’s a certain level of decorum around the Supreme Court… But this country right now is at a crossroads… Are we going to continue secular democracy, or are we going to be led to Christian theocracy by this Supreme Court?”

MRS. ALITO’S FLAGS.

Justice Alito’s wife, Martha-Ann Alito, also came under fire from Democrats over her comments captured on Windsor’s secret recordings. Far-left activists attempt to gin up outrage over Mrs. Alito’s remarks regarding a neighbor’s Pride flag. “I want a Sacred Heart of Jesus flag because I have to look across the lagoon at the Pride flag for the next month,” Justice Alito’s wife remarked in a conversation with Windsor. She added that she’d floated the idea with her husband, Justice Samuel Alito, to which he responded: “Oh, please, don’t put up a flag.”

The Alitos have been repeatedly smeared in the media over their choice of flag displays. Democrat and progressive activists have pushed for Alito’s recusal, and even removal from the Supreme Court, after The New York Times reported that his wife had flown an upside-down American flag shortly before Joe Biden’s inauguration in 2021.

The newspaper followed up by reporting that the Alito family had also flown an “Appeal to Heaven” revolutionary war flag outside their New Jersey beach house.

WaPo Chides Its Own Retired Reporters for Failing to Harass Justice Alito.

The Washington Post has published a lengthy article berating former Supreme Court reporter Robert Barnes for doing his due diligence and declining to report the Alito flag hoax as if it was a legitimate news story, robbing the newspaper of a “precious exclusive.”

Barnes, now retired, was aware of Justice Samuel Alito’s wife flying a U.S. flag upside down in 2021—an incident being pushed as earth-shattering news years after the fact as the corporate media attempts to influence Supreme Court rulings on Donald Trump and January 6 defendants. Instead of rushing to report the display as proof the Alitos supported the ‘Stop the Steal’ movement, as the corporate media are doing today, Barnes actually did his job, discovering it was the result of a neighbor dispute.

WaPo media critic Erik Wemple is now blasting Barnes and his editors for not running the story, eventually published by The New York Times, regardless of the facts, complaining, “The Alitos received deference to which they were not entitled.”

FACTS (DON’T) MATTER.

Wemple reached this conclusion despite Barnes telling him “We determined that it wasn’t the justice that flew the flag upside down and we determined it wasn’t a protest about the election or something else on the part of Mrs. Alito.” Barnes told Wemple he corroborated this based on Martha-Ann Alito’s “actions when I saw her and what others in the neighborhood had told me.”

Mrs. Alito flew the upside-down flag in response to some of their neighbors putting up crass signs reading “F**k Trump,” “Trump Is a Fascist,” and—addressing the Alitos—’You Are Complicit.’ Wemple fumed Barnes had not gone to the couple for their side of the story, though they have never denied erecting the signs.

Wemple also acknowledges upside-down flags were not closely associated with ‘Stop the Steal’ at the time of the incident, and that contemporary managing editor Cameron Barr said the decision not to a run a story was a matter of “consensus.”

What is the ‘Appeal to Heaven’ Flag That Libs Are FREAKING OUT About.

Associate U.S. Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito is now at the center of a second flag “controversy” after it was revealed on Wednesday that he displayed an “Appeal to Heaven” flag outside his family’s beach house in New Jersey. The flag was commissioned by America’s first President, George Washington, and based upon philosopher John Locke’s Second Treatise of Government.

On Monday, The New York Times reported that Alito had displayed an upside-down American flag outside his primary residence shortly before Biden‘s inauguration as president. Left-wing activists and the corporate media claim that both flag displays are associated with the January 6 U.S. Capitol rioters.

MSNBC host Chris Hayes called the flag display “Real sick stuff!” in a post on X (formerly Twitter). Meanwhile, The New Republic—a far-left magazine— claims the flag is a “…symbol of Donald Trump’s ‘Stop the Steal’ movement—including one carried by rioters at the Capitol building.”

The far-left activist group MoveOn has used the controversy to push a petition demanding Alito recuse himself from any pending cases before the Supreme Court that relate to the January 6 riots or former President Donald J. Trump.

ORIGINS OF THE FLAG.

Despite the corporate media’s insinuations, however, the “Appeal to Heaven” flag is not a symbol exclusive to the Capitol rioters. The flag—which bears a pine tree charge on a white field—first came into use during the American Revolution. Then known as The Pine Tree flag, it was designed by General George Washington‘s secretary, Colonel Joseph Reed.

The flag’s first official use was as a naval ensign for a squadron of six frigates commissioned for the Continental Army. In July 1776, Massachusetts adopted the “Appeal to Heaven” flag as the ensign for its state navy. The flag remains the official maritime ensign for the state, though the text on it was removed in 1971.

The phrase “An Appeal to Heaven” is rooted in the writings of English philosopher John Locke. In his “Second Treatise of Government,” Locke argued that when all legal and earthly means of redress are exhausted, people have the right to appeal to a higher power. This sentiment resonated deeply with the American colonists, who felt oppressed by British rule and saw their struggle for independence as a just cause under divine providence.

Petition Demanding Alito, Thomas Recusal on Jan 6 and Trump Cases Passes 50k Signatures.

A petition demanding that Supreme Court Justices Samuel Alito and Clarence Thomas recuse themselves from cases related to the January 6, 2021, riots at the U.S. Capitol has garnered 50,000 signatures. Far-left progressive activist group MoveOn initiated the petition after The New York Times reported Justice Alito displayed an upside-down American flag shortly before Joe Biden‘s inauguration as President.

According to Alito, his wife placed the flag upside down following a dispute with neighbors. The Supreme Court Justice has dismissed calls for his resignation from the high court and his recusal on cases relating to the Capitol riots or former President Donald J. Trump.

The New York Times story and MoveOn petition appear to be part of a larger left-wing public pressure campaign to force the recusal of several conservative Supreme Court Justices from two upcoming decisions. Both Fisher v. United States and Trump’s presidential immunity appeal could significantly impact the Biden government’s lawfare campaign against the incumbent Democrat’s 2024 presidential election opponent.

MoveOn contends that Alito’s association with the flag incident and Justice Thomas‘s wife Ginni’s communications regarding the Trump team’s efforts to expose voter fraud in 2020 undermine the court’s integrity. The petition also calls on Chief Justice John Roberts to take action if the Justices do not voluntarily recuse themselves.

Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL) has echoed the arguments made by MoveOn and urged for Alito’s recusal. Additionally, the Illinois Democrat is calling for a binding code of ethics for the court.

Trump: ‘I Don’t Think You’ll Have Political Violence’ Around Election.

According to former President Donald J. Trump, the likelihood of political violence surrounding the 2024 presidential election is very low. “I don’t think you’ll have political violence,” he said during a recent interview with TIME Magazine‘s Eric Cortellessa. The former President explained that his victory in November would be convincing, minimizing the chance of voter anger.

“I think we’re gonna have a big victory,” Trump said before adding, “And I think there will be no violence.” While both Trump and Cortellessa appeared to be speaking specifically about the January 6 Capitol riots, it is unclear whether the former President thinks progressive and far-left activists could stoke violent protests.

When Trump won the 2016 presidential election, his inauguration in Washington, D.C., was marked by a series of violent riots by far-left agitators and members of Antifa. A for-hire limousine owned by an independent driver was burned and destroyed by the anti-Trump rioters.

National and battleground state polling has consistently shown former President Trump with a convincing lead over the Democrat incumbent, Joe Biden. The 81-year-old Biden has struggled among even core Democrat demographics like youth voters, Black voters, and Hispanics. It appears the latter has abandoned Biden en masse, with Trump pulling nearly even with the octogenarian Democrat among Hispanic voters.

A convincing Trump win in November will likely assuage voter concerns over election errors and instances of fraud that have plagued past contests. The National Pulse has reported on numerous instances where voter machines have either failed or counted votes in error — as well as cases of Democrat operatives and candidates committing flagrant voter fraud.

Trump: ‘I’d Consider Pardon for EVERY J6 Prisoner.’

Former President Donald J. Trump says he would consider a pardon for each of the January 6 defendants either currently imprisoned or being prosecuted by the Biden government. The former President made the commitment during a recent interview, lamenting what he sees as a ‘two-tier justice system.’

“[W]hen I look at Portland, when I look at Minneapolis, where they took over police precincts and everything else, and went after federal buildings, when I look at other situations that were violent, and where people were killed, nothing happened to them,” Trump said during an interview with TIME Magazine. He continued: “Nothing happened to them. I think it’s a two-tier system of justice. I think it’s a very, very sad thing.”

The former Republican President went on to note that the only individual who died as a direct result of the January 6 riots at the U.S. Capitol building was protestor Ashli Babbitt. Last November, the Black Lives Matter activist — John Sullivan, a.k.a Jayden X— who filmed Babbitt’s death inside the Capitol, was convicted for his role in inciting protestors to riot. The National Pulse previously reported in January that Babbitt’s family has filed a $30 million wrongful death lawsuit against Capitol Police Officer Lt. Michael Byrd.

Representative Clay Higgins (R-LA) recently claimed that his investigation into the events leading up to the January 6 riots suggests federal law enforcement may have played a more significant role in instigating the violence than previously stated. The Louisiana Republican said he’d uncovered evidence that federal agents were active in online chat groups with U.S. military veterans prior to their involvement in the protest that day.

Currently, the U.S. Supreme Court is weighing whether Biden’s Department of Justice has abused a financial crimes statute to enhance the felony ‘obstruction‘ charges against the rioters.

West Wing Creator Aaron Sorkin Is Working on a Jan 6 Movie.

Aaron Sorkin — creator of liberal television and film mainstays, The West Wing, The Newsroom, and The Social Network — is claiming Mark Zuckerberg and Facebook bear responsibility for the January 6 Capitol riots. During a recent appearance on “The Town with Matthew Belloni” podcast, Sorkin explained how he believes Facebook’s algorithm promotes increasingly extreme content, ultimately radicalizing its more politically engaged users.

“Facebook has been, among other things, tuning its algorithm to promote the most divisive material possible,” Sorkin said. He added: “Because that is what will increase engagement and because that is what will get you to, what they call inside the hallways of Facebook, the infinite scroll.”

Sorkin’s comments echo a similar concern raised by Representative Clay Higgins (R-LA). The National Pulse previously reported that Higgins, through his own investigation, uncovered evidence that federal law enforcement infiltrated online social networks — including Facebook — where American veterans groups would communicate.

Higgins said it was through interactions with veterans in these groups that the FBI appears to have created agents provocateurs. According to the Louisiana Republican: “The original seeds of riotous or illegal or occupation-type behavior amongst these groups were planted by the FBI agents embedded in those groups.”

The comments by Sorkin may also appear intended to stoke interest in his new film project — an untitled movie about the January 6 Capitol riots. He would not confirm whether the project will be a direct sequel to his Oscar-winning screenplay for the 2010 film The Social Network.

Biden Confused Capitol Riots With D-Day Invasion During Fundraiser With Actor Michael Douglas.

Joe Biden could not recall the date of the 2021 riots at the Capitol building while speaking at a fundraiser on Thursday night. Appearing at the Hollywood residence of celebrity acting couple Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones, the 81-year-old Biden referred to the January 6 riots as having occurred on June 6 — appearing to confuse the riots with the Normandy invasion in 1944.

“We’ll certainly never forget the dark days of June 6, January 6th, excuse me,” Biden told the high-dollar donor crowd in California in an attempt to criticize former President Donald Trump. At 81 years old, Biden is the oldest American to have ever served as President of the United States.

Over the past several months, Biden‘s cognitive abilities and memory recollection appear to have declined significantly. The National Pulse has previously reported on several instances where the incumbent Democrat has been unable to remember what century it currently is and falsely claimed to have played roles in both significant and insignificant past events.

Most recently, Biden left even some of his most ardent defenders bewildered after mentioning the death of his uncle Ambrose Finnigan on the campaign trail — insisting it could have come at the hands of cannibals. Biden, again, got basic facts surrounding his uncle’s military service and disappearance in an air crash incorrect. And while there is a remote possibility Finnigan could have been killed — and even eaten — by inhabitants of Papua New Guinea, it remains unclear why Biden felt the need to bring it up on the camping trail.
