HOAX: Biden DOJ Official Arrested for Sending Himself ‘Racist, Anti-Immigrant’ Messages.

Texas Rangers have arrested a Democrat candidate and Joe Biden appointee in Fort Bend for allegedly fabricating racist online messages addressed to himself and framing supporters of his rival. Taral Patel, the Democratic candidate for Precinct 3 Commissioner, faces Online Impersonation and Misrepresentation of Identity charges.

Rangers took Patel into custody following an investigation that began in October 2023. The inquiry started after the incumbent, Republican Commissioner Andy Meyers, urged authorities to find the origin of the racist messages Patel received.

Patel’s arrest record reveals he spent several months creating fake online profiles to impersonate Meyers’ supporters and send himself derogatory comments. Patel posted the inflammatory messages on social media in September 2023, describing the remarks as driven by “deep and misguided fear” within the GOP.

“[W]hen my Republican opponent’s supporters’ decide to hurl racist, anti-immigrant, Hinduphobic, or otherwise disgusting insults at my family, faith community, colleagues, and me – that crosses a line,” Patel wrote on Facebook, sharing screenshots of the supposed racist remarks. Patel allegedly used a photograph of an unsuspecting Fort Bend resident without consent to perpetuate the hoax.

Biden previously appointed Patel to the Office of White House Liaison and the White House Asian American Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander (WHAANHPI) Committee. Patel also worked at the Department of Justice (DOJ), ironically in the Public Integrity Section of the Criminal Division.

MAGA COUNTRY?

Bobby Eberle, the Fort Bend County Republican Chairman, compares Patel’s actions to those of disgraced actor Jussie Smollett. Smollett infamously claimed that Donald Trump supporters yelled, “This is MAGA country,” beat him, and tied a noose around his neck in Chicago. Authorities demonstrated that he orchestrated the attack with the assistance of two African men with whom he had a sexual relationship.

“Whether Republican or Democrat, such tactics should be unequivocally condemned by all who value integrity and accountability in politics,” Eberle stated. “Fort Bend County residents deserve leadership that fosters trust and sincerity rather than deceit and manipulation for political gain.”

Hate crime hoaxes have become a common feature of American politics since 2016. Yasmin Seweid pleaded guilty to fabricating a story about Trump supporters ripping her hijab off on a New York subway in 2017. In 2020, authorities arrested Trumaine Foster in Mississippi for spraying his cars with the words ‘Leave N*****s’ and ‘Trump’. In 2022, transgender activist Nikki Joly pleaded guilty to torching his own home in Jackson, Michigan, burning two German shepherd dogs and three cats alive, blaming anti-LGBTQ arsonists.

Democrat Rep. Barbara Lee recently claimed a “white guy” tried to stop her from using a Capitol elevator reserved for Congressmen, accusing her of stealing her congressional lapel pin. Skeptics cast doubt on the story, though it has not been proven false.

Foreclosure Filings Jump 21% Nationwide.

Foreclosure filings across the United States continue to rise, signaling a return to pre-pandemic levels, as Americans face increased financial strain and hurdles to home ownership.

PULSE POINTS
❓ WHAT HAPPENED: Foreclosure filings in the United States surpassed 200,000 this year, representing an increase of over 20 percent.
📺 DETAIL: According to ATTOM, a real estate data company, foreclosure filings in the United States reached 228,000 in the first half of the year. This constitutes a 21 percent increase compared to the same period last year. This also marks a 28 percent increase from two years ago. Foreclosures typically occur when homeowners fall behind on mortgage payments. The stats with the largest increases in foreclosure filings were Idaho (59 percent), Colorado (57 percent), and Georgia (52 percent). Florida had the highest overall foreclosure rate, with one in every 2,106 housing units receiving a filing in June. ATTOM’s data on foreclosures, which was released on Thursday, includes bank repossessions, default notices, and scheduled auctions.
💬 KEY QUOTE: “The increases also suggest that some homeowners may be facing greater financial strain than they were a year ago,” said Rob Barber, CEO of ATTOM.
🎯 IMPACT: Following a dip in filings during the COVID-19 pandemic, the rise in foreclosures signals a return to pre-pandemic levels. In 2019, the year before lockdown, the number of foreclosures in the U.S. topped out at 640,864. The data suggests that economic pressures, including inflation and interest rate hikes, are likely contributing to the trend. In May, banks seized over 42,000 homes following foreclosure filings, an almost 20 increase compared to the previous year. “Foreclosure activity continued its gradual trend higher in April, with both foreclosure starts and completed foreclosures posting annual gains,” said ATTOM CEO Rob Barber in response to the data. Back in 2024, it was reported that foreclosures in the U.S. were on the rise due to higher living costs, suggesting the trend has persisted year-on-year. In response to concerns about home ownership, President Donald J. Trump has pushed Congress to pass a bill that would place restrictions on Wall Street investors buying single-family homes.

Pakistan Blames Britain for Pakistani Rape Gang Leader’s Crimes.

The Islamic Republic of Pakistan has rejected Britain’s request to take back Shabir Ahmed, the Pakistan-born ringleader of the Rochdale grooming gang, and has blamed Ahmed’s crimes on him being raised in Britain.

PULSE POINTS
❓ WHAT HAPPENED: The Islamic Republic of Pakistan has blamed the United Kingdom for the crimes of Pakistan-born Rochdale grooming gang ringleader Shabir Ahmed. This follows Pakistan’s refusal to accept the 73-year-old Rochdale grooming gang leader, despite Britain’s efforts to deport him.
📺 DETAIL: Pakistan has claimed that Ahmed’s crimes were the result of his being raised in Britain.Regardless of where he was born, the onus lies on where he grew up, was raised, groomed, and unfortunately spoiled,” said Tahir Andrabi, Pakistan’s foreign office spokesman. The official further insisted that Pakistan had “no connection whatsoever with this matter.” Ahmed was born in Pakistan and raised in Britain by Pakistani parents. Ahmed was released from prison after serving 14 years of a 22-year sentence for 30 offenses. Ahmed’s crimes span rape, aiding and abetting rape, and trafficking for sexual exploitation. Some of his victims were as young as 12. Ahmed was stripped of his British citizenship following his conviction in 2012, but cannot be deported due to the Immigration Act of 1971. The Act prevents the deportation of immigrants from Commonwealth countries, such as Pakistan, who entered the country prior to 1973 and have lived in Britain for more than five years, although constitutionally there is nothing stopping Parliament from passing a bill amending this law retrospectively if its members want to.
💬 KEY QUOTE: “The individual concerned is a British national who spent his entire adult life in the UK and was duly convicted by a British court for reprehensible offences committed on British soil.” – Tahir Andrabi
🎯 IMPACT: The refusal to take back Ahmed has strained British-Pakistani relations, with Britain threatening visa restrictions if Pakistan does not comply. The comments from Pakistan’s foreign office are likely to spark anger from the British public, which has been pushing the government to suspend all foreign aid to and immigration from Pakistan over its refusal to take back its pedophile. Andrabi’s remarks are likely to strengthen the resolve of those politicians seeking an amendment to the Immigration Act of 1971 to enable Ahmed’s deportation.
📺 FLASHBACK: In early July, it was reported that Ahmed had been released from prison. Ahmed was the ringleader of the Rochdale grooming gang, one of several gangs making up the broader grooming scandal in the United Kingdom. The scandal involves decades of mostly Muslim, South Asian men targeting white working-class girls for sexual abuse.

U.S. Navy Strikes Oil Tanker Amid Renewed Iran Blockade.

Iranian oil exports face renewed pressure as U.S. sanctions tighten following regional tensions and Iranian attacks on ships in the Strait of Hormuz.

PULSE POINTS
❓ WHAT HAPPENED:  The United States struck the oil tanker Belma in the Persian Gulf after the vessel allegedly ignored repeated warnings while heading toward Iran’s oil export terminal on Kharg Island, according to U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM). CENTCOM said an aircraft disabled the tanker by firing Hellfire missiles into its smokestack as part of renewed enforcement of a naval blockade on Iranian ports ordered by President Donald J. Trump following a series of Iranian attacks on commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz.
📺 DETAIL: The blockade, which had previously been in effect from April 13 to June 18 before being lifted under a ceasefire agreement, was reinstated after the ceasefire collapsed amid renewed fighting between the United States and Iran. During the earlier blockade, the U.S. said it redirected more than 140 vessels and disabled nine ships. Ship-tracking data showed Belma, previously sanctioned by the U.S. under a different name for links to Iran, entered the Gulf on Tuesday and last transmitted its position about 63 miles southeast of Kharg Island. Another U.S.-sanctioned tanker, Fuyao, has reversed course in the Gulf of Oman. Analysts estimate Iran exported at least 74 million barrels of oil worth more than $6 billion during the period when the blockade and key sanctions were suspended under the ceasefire agreement. Iran’s chief negotiator, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, previously said the country was selling oil at prices roughly 20 percent higher than before the conflict. Maritime intelligence firm Kpler reported that traffic through the Strait of Hormuz has dropped sharply, with only 11 fuel tankers and cargo vessels transiting the waterway on Wednesday, well below pre-conflict averages.
🎯 IMPACT: The renewed sanctions and blockade against Iran are likely to strain its economy.

Machete-Wielding Teens Convicted of Storming Restaurant, Setting Diners on Fire.

Two 17-year-olds were found guilty of arson with intent to endanger life after storming a packed restaurant armed with machetes and gasoline, causing severe injuries to multiple victims.

PULSE POINTS
❓ WHAT HAPPENED: Two teenagers, armed with machetes, stormed the Indian Aroma restaurant in London, England, dousing the premises and diners with gasoline before setting them alight. The attack caused a fireball that left two people critically injured and several others with severe burns.
📺 DETAIL: The teenagers, whose identities have been protected by the courts due to their age, were found guilty at the Old Bailey of arson with intent to endanger life and possession of an offensive weapon following a seven-week trial. The court heard that on August 22, 2025, the pair drove a stolen car to the area after one of them stole several liters of gasoline from a nearby gas station. Armed with machetes, one teenager threatened customers while the other poured fuel over the restaurant, its furniture, and diners before igniting it, creating a fireball that engulfed the building. They fled the scene as emergency crews responded to treat victims, with witnesses describing severe burn injuries. Detectives used CCTV footage, the stolen vehicle, and cell phone data to identify and arrest the suspects.
📍 WHEN & WHERE: The attack occurred on August 22, 2025, at the Indian Aroma restaurant in Gants Hill, Ilford.
🎯 IMPACT: The violent incident left dozens of innocent people traumatized, with two victims critically injured. The attack highlights growing concerns about violent crime and its devastating effects on communities in Britain’s multicultural capital, led by Pakistani-heritage Labour Party politician Sir Sadiq Khan.
💬 KEY QUOTE: “This group tried to outmaneuver the police… but today’s outcome showcases that our detectives can unravel multifaceted incidents to secure justice and take dangerous offenders off our streets,” commented Detective Inspector Emma Sharp.

Trans University Employee Faces Charges for Celebrating Ann Widdecombe’s Death.

Another person has been arrested for comments celebrating the murder of legendary Reform UK immigration and justice spokeswoman and former Conservative lawmaker and minister Ann Widdecombe.

PULSE POINTS
❓ WHAT HAPPENED: A transgender university employee in the United Kingdom has been arrested by Counter Terrorism Policing for celebrating Ann Widdecombe’s murder on social media.
📺 DETAIL: Heather Herbert, a transgender employee at the University of Aberdeen in Scotland, was arrested after making comments celebrating Widdecombe’s murder on Bluesky, the far-left social media app. “We received reports on Saturday 11 July 2026 relating to a post made online,” Police Scotland announced. “Following further assessment, a 50-year-old has been arrested and charged in connection,” the force added. This follows the announcement that Counter Terrorism Policing South East has taken over the investigation into the murder of Ann Widdecombe, a legendary former Conservative Member of Parliament (MP) and government minister turned immigration and justice spokeswoman for Nigel Farage’s Reform UK party. The arrest also follows new evidence suggesting that Widdecombe’s murder was a “targeted” and potentially politically motivated attack, despite initial claims by the local police that there was no evidence of a terrorist or ideological motive.
💬 KEY QUOTE: “We are pursuing multiple lines of enquiry to establish the motivation for this attack. Our priority is progressing this investigation quickly, with all the capabilities we have available to us.” – Laurence Taylor, Head of National Counter Terrorism Policing
🎯 IMPACT: Herbert’s arrest underscores the recurring pattern among British progressives of celebrating the deaths of their political opponents. It also demonstrates the ongoing threat to Reform figures, including party leader Nigel Farage. Earlier this week, it was reported that a man was arrested for threatening to shoot Farage in the head. Earlier this month, a 28-year-old man was arrested in Rotherham, in Northern England, approximately 200 miles from Widdecombe’s home in Devon, in southern England, on suspicion of her murder. He currently remains in custody, having been arrested on charges of terrorism. Widdecombe was a vocal advocate for Brexit and conservative values, rooted in her Christian faith.

Nigel Farage Calls for Stronger Royal Navy in Response to Argentina’s World Cup Falklands Taunt.

Reform UK leader Nigel Farage has called for Britain to bolster its Royal Navy after Argentinian players displayed a provocative anti-British banner following their World Cup victory over England.

PULSE POINTS
❓ WHAT HAPPENED: Reform UK leader Nigel Farage called for a stronger Royal Navy after Argentina’s soccer team unfurled a banner claiming ownership of the Falkland Islands following their World Cup match against England on Wednesday.
💬 KEY QUOTE: “Whilst I am disgusted at the behaviour of some Argentinian players last night, the most important thing to do is build up the Royal Navy quickly.” – Nigel Farage on X (formerly Twitter)
📺 DETAIL: Following Argentina’s 2-1 victory against England in the World Cup semi-finals on Wednesday, several Argentinian players displayed a banner reading “Las Malvinas son Argentinas” (“The Falkland Islands are Argentine”). The Falkland Islands are a British Overseas Territory. In 1982, Argentina invaded and briefly occupied the Falklands, but the islands were reclaimed by the British following a 74-day conflict. In a 2013 referendum, 99.8 percent of Falklands residents voted to remain British. The Falklands War resulted in the deaths of 649 Argentinians and 255 British personnel, and the war is a major reason for the footballing rivalry between England and Argentina. Currently, the Royal Navy’s diminished surface warship fleet sits at two aircraft carriers plagued with technical issues and roughly 12 operational destroyers and frigates, with aging ships and recruitment challenges straining its capabilities.
🎯 IMPACT: The World Cup incident has reignited tensions over the sovereignty of the Falklands and raised concerns about Britain’s ability to protect them. Ahead of the match between England and Argentina, Argentinian Vice President Victoria Villaruel called the British “invaders” and “usurping pirates” in a post on X. Argentine hawkishness over the Falklands may intensify as the country heads into the World Cup final against Spain.

Iran Directs Houthis to Block Red Sea If U.S. Strikes Power Plants.

Iran has reportedly directed its Houthi proxies in Yemen to prepare to close the Red Sea’s vital oil trade route, posing a serious threat to global energy supplies.

PULSE POINTS
❓ WHAT HAPPENED: Iran has reportedly directed Yemen’s Houthis to prepare to close the Red Sea’s Bab el-Mandeb strait, a vital oil shipping route, if the U.S. targets Iranian power infrastructure. This directive, conveyed through Iran’s fractured leadership, underscores Tehran’s strategy to pressure Washington by threatening global energy supplies.
📺 DETAIL: The Houthis, supported by Iran, have reportedly deployed drones and missiles near the Bab el-Mandeb strait, awaiting orders to disrupt shipping. This comes as tensions between the U.S. and Iran are high following the collapse of a June truce, with Iran attempting to close the Strait of Hormuz, the U.S. blockading Iranian ports, and both sides exchanging dozens of strikes. The Red Sea now carries approximately seven percent of global oil supplies, making it a critical route for energy exports.
🎯 IMPACT: Any disruption to the Red Sea’s shipping lanes would exacerbate the ongoing global energy crisis, already strained by the crisis in the Strait of Hormuz. A dual blockade of the region’s primary oil routes would significantly impact energy markets.
💬 KEY QUOTE: “Anybody with a firing rifle can interrupt the shipping. You don’t have to have sophisticated missiles to interrupt the shipping,” said a source close to the Houthis.
📺 FLASHBACK: The Red Sea has been a flashpoint in past conflicts, with the Houthis previously targeting shipping during the Gaza war, forcing vessels to take longer, costlier routes around Africa. Iran’s ties with the Houthis are part of its so-called “Axis of Resistance,” which includes Hezbollah and other regional allies.

Afghan Migrant Gets Short Sentence for Raping ‘Vulnerable Man’ in Public Park.

An Afghan asylum seeker has been sentenced to just six years in prison for the rape of a vulnerable man in Leicester, England.

PULSE POINTS
❓ WHAT HAPPENED: An Afghan asylum seeker has been convicted of raping a vulnerable man in Leicester, United Kingdom.
📺 DETAIL: Islamuddin Talash, a 43-year-old asylum seeker from Afghanistan, was convicted of raping a 20-year-old man in Leicester, England, on October 9, 2023. The victim was not familiar with the area, having run away from home, and was looking to buy a bike. Talash claimed that he owned a bike and invited the victim back to his hotel. He then led the victim to the nearby park where the attack occurred. According to evidence presented during the trial, Talash knowingly exposed the victim to potential health risks as he was being treated for a sexually transmitted disease at the time. The victim, who has cognitive and social difficulties, fortunately did not contract a disease. Talash was convicted in Leicester Crown Court and sentenced to just six years in prison on Wednesday. Talash claimed this was his third trial for the same offense. He came to Britain claiming persecution from the Taliban.
🎯 IMPACT: Talash will likely serve no more than two-thirds of his term in custody. Talash also faces automatic deportation on completion of his sentence, although there is no guarantee this will be executed, with most migrants successfully appealing their return to countries like Afghanistan. The case underscores the ongoing threat posed by asylum seekers to the British public, echoing many similar attacks over recent years. The threat is heightened by the fact that Britain’s current laws make it hard to deport foreign criminals.
📺 FLASHBACK: Earlier this year, three asylum seekers were convicted of gang-raping a woman on a beach in Brighton, southern England.

Spanish Police Warn Migrant Mass Amnesty is Enabling Fraud and Overwhelming Resources.

Spain’s socialist government faces logistical and security challenges as it processes over 1.2 million amnesty applications, raising concerns about fraud and system overload.

PULSE POINTS
❓ WHAT HAPPENED: Spanish police have raised alarms over the potential collapse of the system responsible for issuing Foreigner Identity Cards (TIEs) as the government processes over 1.2 million amnesty applications for illegal immigrants. The process, which was initially estimated to involve 500,000 migrants, has overwhelmed resources and created opportunities for criminal exploitation.
📺 DETAIL:  Authorities have up to three months to process applications and issue TIE documents to successful applicants. Police sources told Spanish newspaper El Mundo that limited staffing and technical resources could make obtaining the documents an increasingly difficult process for both migrants and officials. Officers also warned that criminal networks are exploiting the system by using automated software to secure appointment slots and resell them for between 100 and 2,000 euros, further worsening delays. Buyers’ information is later entered into the system to make the appointments appear legitimate. Police also expressed concerns that the legalization program could significantly increase future migration through Spain’s family reunification (chain migration) rules, potentially allowing newly legalized residents to sponsor relatives to enter the country and bring the total number of regularized migrants to around three million. Officers warned that criminal organizations may attempt to exploit those provisions through fraudulent family claims and forged documentation.
🎯 IMPACT: The strain on resources could lead to delays and inefficiencies in processing legal status for migrants, while criminal networks may exploit loopholes for profit. Additionally, police have warned that the amnesty could trigger a wave of family reunification claims, potentially increasing the migrant population by millions in the coming years.
📺 FLASHBACK: Earlier this year, the Spanish government estimated that the amnesty would involve only 500,000 migrants, a figure that has since more than doubled, revealing a significant underestimation of the consequences of the program.

Asylum Seekers Sentenced for Beach Gang Rape.

Three asylum seekers have been sentenced after gang raping a woman on a beach in England last year, underscoring the problems created by Britain’s immigration and asylum policies.

PULSE POINTS
❓ WHAT HAPPENED: The three asylum seekers found guilty of gang-raping a woman on Brighton Beach in England have been sentenced.
📺 DETAIL: Egyptian nationals Ibrahim Alshafe, 26, and Karin Al-Danasurt, 21, and Iranian national Abdulla Ahmadi, 26, were sentenced at Hove Crown Court for gang-raping a woman on Brighton beach, south England, on October 4, 2025. Alshafe and Ahmadi each received 21 years in prison. Both were found guilty of two counts of rape. Al-Danasurt, who filmed the attack, was sentenced to 18 years and six months, after being found guilty of four counts of rape as a secondary party. The victim was assaulted behind a beach hut after she was separated from her friends during a night out. “They destroyed my life that night, they took something from me nobody had the right to,” said the victim in her impact statement. “To not take accountability for their actions [is] like sticking a knife in and twisting it again,” she added.
💬 KEY QUOTE: “Each of you participated in an entirely predatory and callous attack… You each treated her with contempt and played a role in degrading her in the most appalling way.” – Judge Christine Henson KC
🎯 IMPACT: The case underscores the problems created by Britain’s immigration and asylum policies. The cost of housing asylum seekers has reached approximately £15 million (~$20 million) a day in recent years. As those who apply for asylum can appeal the initial decision on their case, most illegal immigrants are able to block their deportation. If rejected upon appeal, illegal immigrants often remain in the country regardless. As a result, the British public is regularly exposed to threats.
📺 FLASHBACK: The three offenders arrived in Britain after crossing the English Channel in small boats launched from France. After claiming asylum, they were put in Home Office-provided asylum accommodation in West Sussex, England. Their asylum applications were initially rejected, but they were left at large while their cases were being appealed. Ahmadi and Alshafe met while illegally entering the country in June 2025. Al-Danasurt had arrived in Britain in late September the year prior.
