A church was desecrated this week by vandals who daubed it with the words “kill whites.” The attack on the 800-year-old Heggen church in Vikersund, Norway, likely took place overnight on Monday or early Tuesday.
The graffiti comes after a local 55-year-old man named Runar Magnussen was violently attacked in the streets of Vikersund by several young men, with an 18-year-old later being arrested in connection to the attack. The incident was caught on video and shows three youths who appear to be from migrant backgrounds arguing with Magnussen before one attacks him, punching him to the ground.
Magnussen later stated that he recognized the youths as part of a local gang and wanted to talk some sense into them. Local police also acknowledge that the teenager arrested has a criminal history.
The arrested teenager claims that Magnussen was racist toward him, which the 55-year-old denies. Magnussen states that, in fact, the opposite is the case, and he received racial abuse from the gang.
SPREADING PROBLEM.
The vandalism incident comes just days after “no whites” graffiti was found in a Muslim-majority area of the English city of Birmingham.
This graffiti was located just under a mile away from where a Muslim mob went on a rampage, attacking random white people in response to a rumored “far-right” anti-mass migration protest that never took place.
Local police later dismissed criticism of the lack of presence of officers on the day, claiming the Muslim community was determined to be able to police themselves.
