Jenna Ellis Raised $220K Pledging to Fight Georgia Case While Selling Trump Out to Prosecutors.

Former Donald Trump attorney Jenna Ellis attempted to sell out the 45th President to Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis despite claiming she would fight the RICO indictment the Georgia Democrat brought against her, raising almost $220,000 from MAGA conservatives to help her do so.

Ellis, now a Ron DeSantis booster, was included in RICO charges alongside Trump, Sidney Powell, and others related to alleged election interference. She raised $216,000 on GiveSendGo claiming she would “stand for the truth” but later tearfully pleaded guilty in exchange for reduced charges.

It now emerges she also flipped on the former president, claiming Trump official Dan Scavino said they planned on refusing to leave the White House on December 19th 2020, after she had told him the legal fight against the election results “was essentially over.”

“[H]e said to me, in a kind of excited tone, ‘Well, we don’t care, and we’re not going to leave,'” Ellis told prosecutors in a so-called “proffer session”.

“And I said, ‘What do you mean?’ And he said ‘Well, the boss’, meaning President Trump – and everyone understood ‘the boss,’ that’s what we all called him – he said, ‘The boss is not going to leave under any circumstances. We are just going to stay in power,'” she continued.

Ellis claims she told Scavino “it doesn’t quite work that way, you realize?” and Scavino responded: “We don’t care.”

Trump did leave the White House of January 20th, however – and Trump lead counsel Steve Sadow insists that it “the only salient fact to this nonsense line of inquiry”.

“If this is the type of bogus, ridiculous ‘evidence’ DA Willis intends to rely upon, it is one more reason that this political, travesty of a case must be dismissed,” Sadow added.

Neither bill was expected to pass, though a potential opening for either an extension of the subsidies or compromise legislation could be building in the House of Representatives as Democrats slowly gain signatures on two discharge petitions for what is seen as more serious proposals to extend the subsidies than those pushed by Sen. Schumer. If Congress fails to either reform the failing Obamacare program or extend current subsidies enacted under former President Joe Biden, millions of Americans who rely on the Obamacare marketplace for health insurance will likely see significant health insurance premium hikes at the beginning of next year.

While a congressional solution has largely been seen as the only avenue to fix Obamacare and avoid the premium hikes, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt appeared to allude to a third possible solution being considered by President Donald J. Trump. Details of any White House plan do not appear to be public, and what executive actions Trump could take are unknown.

Despite some bipartisan interest in extending the subsidies in the Senate, no meaningful negotiations occurred. A prior agreement between a group of Democrats and the Republican majority, made during the resolution of the Democrat-initiated 43-day government shutdown, had raised hopes for compromise. However, talks fell apart when Republicans pushed to ensure the continued inclusion of restrictions on abortion coverage, which Democrats deemed unacceptable.

The National Pulse reported in late January this year that Indian women in the United States were requesting dangerous pre-term caesarean sections from doctors so they could give birth before President Donald J. Trump’s Executive Order banning birthright citizenship took effect. Most of the women were reportedly in their eighth or ninth month of pregnancy, but several were said to be much earlier in their terms.

Currently, a challenge to Trump’s birthright citizenship order is set to be heard before the United States Supreme Court, with oral arguments anticipated to occur in April 2026. Previously, the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals handed down a ruling in July declaring the Executive Order unconstitutional, allowing automatic birthright citizenship to continue for the time being.

North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Secretary General Mark Rutte has delivered a warning to alliance members’ citizens, telling them to brace for the possibility of a major conflict on the scale of the Second World War. Speaking in Berlin, Germany, he pressed NATO governments to dramatically increase defense spending and industrial output to confront Russia.

“We are Russia’s next target. I fear that too many are quietly complacent. Too many don’t feel the urgency. And too many believe that time is on our side. It is not. The time for action is now,” said Rutte, a 58-year-old former Prime Minister of the Netherlands and Unilever human resources manager with no military service record. “[W]e must be prepared for the scale of war our grandparents and great grandparents endured.”

At the same time, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is holding intensive talks with leaders from around 30 countries—including Germany, the United Kingdom, and France—on strategies to tackle Russia’s ongoing invasion. Zelensky called for “doable and realistic steps” to end the fighting in a way that delivers outcomes “reliable and dignified for Ukraine.”

U.S. President Donald J. Trump has been pressing Zelensky to agree to a compromise peace with Russia, saying recently, “I give the people of Ukraine and the military of Ukraine tremendous credit for the, you know, bravery and for the fighting and all of that. But, you know, at some point, size will win, generally.”

Russia is more than three times larger than Ukraine by population, and its industrial capacity is substantially larger.

On Thursday, U.S. District Court Judge Paula Xinis ordered the release of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, a Salvadoran illegal alien, from immigration detention. Garcia had been mistakenly deported to El Salvador earlier this year despite a 2019 ruling that prohibited his removal to his home country due to supposed threats of persecution from local gangs.

Judge Xinis, a Barack Obama appointee, stated in her ruling that “respondents have no statutory authority to remove Abrego Garcia to a third country absent a removal order” and criticized the prolonged detention, saying it could not continue. The Trump administration had attempted to deport Garcia to several African nations, including Uganda and Liberia, but faced diplomatic and legal challenges.

Garcia’s attorney, Simon Sandoval-Moshenberg, argued that deporting him to Liberia or any other third country without guarantees against further deportation to El Salvador was unlawful. Notably, Garcia has also been accused of membership in the violent MS-13 criminal gang and participation in human smuggling.

The Trump administration maintained that Garcia had received due process and cited an immigration judge’s determination that he did not qualify for asylum and that he failed to prove a risk of persecution or torture in Liberia. However, the ruling from Judge Xinis now blocks further deportation attempts and allows Garcia to be released from custody.
