As part of the Trump administration’s continued crackdown on the Chinese Communist Party, the State Department has launched a page dedicated to the government’s “human rights abuses in Xinjiang” against Uyghurs.

The site highlights the Chinese Communist Party engaging in “forced population control,” “forced labor,” and “violations of religious freedom” along with Secretary of State Mike Pompeo’s comments on the issue.

We released a new webpage that illustrates the Chinese Communist Party's abuses perpetrated against Uyghurs and members of other minority groups in Xinjiang. The U.S. is committed to leading the global fight against these egregious human rights abuses. https://t.co/909bPvZJ7j
