ABC News’s Stephanopoulos: ‘I Don’t Think Biden Can Serve Four More Years.’

ABC News host and former Clinton family political operative George Stephanopoulos offered a brutally honest answer when asked if he thought Joe Biden should step down. In an almost knee-jerk reaction, the Democrat operative turned newsman said he didn’t think Biden could make it four more years.

“Do you think Biden should step down? You’ve talked to him more than anybody else has lately,” he was asked in New York City by a man surreptitiously filming the encounter on his cell phone. The ABC News host responded: “I don’t think he can serve four more years.”

On Tuesday night, Stephanopoulos and ABC News admitted that it was, in fact, him in the video. Through a spokesman, the news host said: “Earlier today, I responded to a question from a passerby. I shouldn’t have.” Additionally, ABC News stressed that Stephanopoulos’s words were his own and not representative of the network.

Last Friday, Stephanopoulos was the first corporate media figure to interview the 81-year-old Joe Biden after his disastrous June 27 presidential debate performance. The 20-minute, pre-recorded interview offered little reassurance to Democrats worried about Biden’s readily apparent cognitive decline.

In a moment that undercut one of Biden’s key campaign issues—that Trump is an existential threat to democracy—the octogenarian Democrat was asked by Stephanopoulos how he’ll feel if he stays in the race and Trump wins. “I’ll feel, as long as I gave it my all, and I did as good a job as I know I can do, that’s what this is about,” Biden responded.

UK MEDIA: Biden Presidency a ‘Conspiracy Against the World’.

A leading British newspaper is describing the Joe Biden presidency as a “conspiracy against the world.” Timothy Stanley, a columnist and leader writer for The Telegraph, says the corporate media has been colluding with the regime in covering up the fact a “zombie” is running the United States.

Biden, Stanley writes, is “a man in total denial, enabled by a system steeped in paranoid fantasy.” The U.S. media, he adds, “joined the administration in closing ranks” around the “narcissist who can’t see his limits”—and has been doing so since his 2020 campaign.

“Journalists gaslit America,” Stanley continues, citing MSNBC host Joe Scarborough’s Pravda-like description of Biden as “far beyond cogent” and indeed “better than he’s ever been, intellectually [and] analytically.”

Following a debate “etched on our memory as a symbol of national decline,” the Briton observes, Scarborough has joined the Democrat pundit class suddenly penning “a thousand articles” against Biden’s candidacy by calling on him to step down.

First Lady Jill Biden also comes in for criticism, with Stanley comparing her to “Edith Wilson, the wife of president Woodrow Wilson, who, when Woodrow had a stroke, locked her husband in the bedroom, pretended he was fine, and took over the management of the country.”

While The Telegraph is a notionally right-wing news outlet, Britain’s left-wing media is also souring on Biden.

The Guardian has stated the Democratic Party “cannot go on like this” in an editorial setting out its position, and has begun tracking the Democratic commentators and powerbrokers turning against him.

WATCH: Populists Are Winning Big, But Not as Big as Expected. Kassam Asks, ‘Who Is Creating The False Expectations?’

Raheem Kassam, Editor-in-Chief of The National Pulse, believes historic breakthroughs by populist parties in Britain and France in recent days may have been deliberately undercut by the left and the corporate media setting unrealistic expectations.

In Britain, Nigel Farage’s Reform Party placed third in the national vote and returned five Members of Parliament (MPs) to the House of Commons, including, for the first time, Farage himself. However, some suggest Reform underperformed, as a post-election exit poll had put them on as many as 13 seats.

Similarly, Marine Le Pen’s National Rally placed first in the French elections in terms of the popular vote and greatly increased its seats in the National Assembly—but many politicians and commentators are suggesting the election was a failure because she did not win a legislative majority.

“It’s the same thing [as] when you had the Reform Party get that exit poll minutes [after] the UK general election wrapped, and they said, ‘Oh, they’re going to win 13 seats.” And then, of course, by the morning, it was down to five seats,” Kassam told War Room host Ben Harnwell.

“Who is creating the false expectations here? In a lot of cases, it is the left; it is the corporate media. They do this on purpose, and then they can say, ‘Oh, look, these parties are not succeeding in the way they thought they were going to succeed,'” he explained.

“Well, no, it was their expectations that were not met.”

Whoopi: ‘I Don’t Care If Biden Pooped His Pants, I Have Poopy Days All the Time.’

Hollywood liberal Whoopi Goldberg is digging in on her support for Joe Biden, despite ongoing public revelations regarding his cognitive decline and efforts to hide details regarding his health from the American people. During ABC‘s Monday airing of The View, Goldberg doubled down on the 81-year-old as her choice for the 2024 Democrat presidential nominee.

“I don’t care if [Biden] pooped his pants. I don’t care if he can’t put a sentence together. Show me he can’t do the job, and then I’ll say, okay, maybe it’s time to go,” Goldberg, whose actual name is Caryn Elaine Johnson, told her cohosts. At this point, however, the 68-year-old’s defense of Biden became a bit too personal: “I have poopy days all of the time. All the time. I step in so much poo you can’t even imagine.”

“Now, I’m not running the world, but I don’t know anybody who doesn’t step in stuff at some point,” Goldberg added.

Following the disastrous June 27 presidential debate against former President Donald J. Trump—where Biden appeared cognitively impaired and unable to respond to moderator questions—Democrat calls for Biden to step aside as the party’s nominee have intensified. Polling data increasingly shows Biden losing to Trump in an electoral landslide, and voters increasingly say the 81-year-old’s cognitive health is a top concern.

Democratic Party leaders, along with major donors, are pushing for a new nominee to take the reins of the party ahead of August’s Democratic National Convention. However, for Goldberg, that timeline is too early. “If he can’t do what he needs to do for the second debate, I’ll join any crew that says get rid of him,” she said.

The second presidential debate is set to be held on September 10, just 56 days before the election.

New York Times’s Editorial Board Member Op-Ed: ‘NATO Must Be Less Dependent on America.’

The New York Times‘s Editorial Board member, Farah Stockman, has published an op-ed in the Grey Lady calling for European nations to do more for their own security and end the military dependence on the United States. The lines are straight out of a long-standing Donald Trump complaint list about how the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) functions, and even repeats critical parts of Trump’s messaging.

“It is now becoming increasingly clear that Europeans need to shoulder more responsibility for their own defense,” Stockman writes, alleging that NATO’s first Supreme Allied Commander Europe, President Dwight Eisenhower, would regard the project as failed, today.

“The United States simply can’t do everything everywhere all at once, by itself. The future requires well-armed, capable allies. The indispensable nation has to be a bit less indispensable,” Stockman continued.

Sounding even more Trumpian, Stockman says: “So why does this dependence persist? Part of the reason is human nature. Why would allies invest in defense if Uncle Sam always picks up the tab?”

President Trump has been responsible for dozens of European nations increasing their NATO defense commitments and spending despite being roundly mocked by the political and media establishments since 2016 for suggesting that European nations do so.

Economist Mag Turns on ‘Beffudled Old Man’ Biden, Slams ‘Cover-Up’ of Mental Decline.

The Economist magazine has called for Joe Biden to drop out of the presidential race. Its latest issue’s cover features an image of the presidential seal on a Zimmer frame, and the feature article brands him a “befuddled old man.”

Citing the recent debate between Biden and former President Donald J. Trump, the anti-Trump magazine says the contest was “awful for Joe Biden, but the cover-up has been worse.”

“It was agony to watch a befuddled old man struggling to recall words and facts. But the operation by his campaign to deny what tens of millions of Americans saw with their own eyes is more toxic than either, because its dishonesty provokes contempt,” the neoliberal magazine states.

Noting Biden’s obvious mental decline, the magazine adds that the existence of his campaign now depends on a lie and that he should drop out now to be remembered for his supposed “accomplishments” in office.

The Economist is only the latest corporate media organ to call for Biden to exit the election. Several formerly friendly media personalities have also called on Biden to bow out, including MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough, who, as recently as March, claimed, “This version of Biden, intellectually, analytically, is the best Biden ever, not a close second, and I’ve known him for years.”

The Atlantic magazine criticized Representative James Clyburn as dishonest for attempting to defend Biden by claiming the president simply had a stutter.

Sitting Democratic politicians like Representative Lloyd Doggett have also outright called for Biden to end his campaign.

ATLANTIC: Biden Backers Using ‘Stutter’ as Excuse for Joe Are ‘Dishonest.’

On Sunday, Representative James Clyburn of South Carolina attempted to shield Joe Biden from criticism following his disastrous debate performance by attributing it to his lifelong stutter. “All of us know how stutterers operate,” Clyburn told CNN. This defense has been echoed by Biden supporters across social media, framing criticisms as “extreme ableism.” However, the progressive left Atlantic magazine argues this is “dishonest,” as “Biden’s fellow stuttering Americans may trip over their words, [but] they do not… exhibit the many other concerning symptoms that Biden displayed at last week’s debate.”

Biden’s debate issues went far beyond stuttering, The Atlantic observes. Viewers witnessed “repeated freeze-ups, his mouth hanging agape, his vacant stare into the middle distance, and, above all, his frequent inability to present a coherent thought”—symptoms not characteristic of stuttering.

Biden’s stutter typically manifests in repetitions or short blocks around certain sounds. During the debate, his difficulties extended beyond these symptoms, displaying a broader pattern of cognitive decline. The Atlantic highlights how Biden stumbled through an answer to a question on the national debt, ending with the embarrassing conclusion, “we finally beat Medicare”—without exhibiting stuttering symptoms.

Critics argue that using stuttering as a defense for Biden’s communication failures is not only dishonest but also stigmatizes the disorder. Stuttering impacts speech but does not account for Biden’s concerning cognitive issues, suggesting he might be mentally unfit for high office.

Recent reports highlight Biden’s increasing thought lapses and reduced energy, consistent with aging and unrelated to stuttering. Concerns about his cognitive abilities are becoming more pronounced, even among Democrats and friendly media, leaving many to question his ability to serve another term.

CNN Admits White House Press Corps Didn’t Cover Biden’s Health Because It Helps Trump.

The corporate media—and the White House press corps in particular—ignored signs of Joe Biden‘s cognitive decline because they feared negative stories on the matter would help former President Donald J. Trump‘s 2024 election effort. Additionally, members of the press had worries their reports on the 81-year-old incumbent’s health would give legitimacy to independent and right-wing media outlets.

“Like all past presidents, Biden has good days and bad days,” CNN media correspondent Hadas Gold wrote late yesterday, tacitly defending the lack of media coverage. She added: “It can be tricky to report on something as difficult to define as a person aging, when his opponent is a convicted felon, who regularly lies and has threatened to use the government to go after his political opponents.”

Gold—and several unnamed reporters she spoke with—tepidly acknowledged that the media failed to press Biden and White House officials regarding his health, especially following concerns raised by Department of Justice (DOJ) special counsel Robert Hur in February. However, the CNN correspondent also blames corporate media’s reluctance to cover Biden’s health on the ample reporting by the independent and right-wing press.

Biden’s age was also a right-wing talking point for years, something the White House was quick to point out to reporters, which may have inadvertently turned off any serious investigation,” Gold admitted.

The National Pulse reported in May that CNN‘s viewership has plummeted to an all-time low, driven in part by their anti-Trump bias.

WATCH: Hysterical Rachel Maddow Says SCOTUS Has Authorized Trump’s ‘Death Squads.’

Rachel Maddow, the MSNBC host and arch-Russiagate conspiracist, is claiming the Supreme Court has authorized Donald Trump to send “right-wing death squads” after his opponents with its ruling on presidential immunity.

“Donald Trump and his counsel asked for this 100 percent absolute immunity thing, which was insane. I would say they got 105 percent of what they were asking for,” she said of the ruling, which guts the lawfare prosecutions Joe Biden’s Justice Department is bringing against the America First leader.

“This is a death squad ruling,” Maddow alleged. “This is a ruling that says that as long as you can construe it as an official or quasi-official act, you can do absolutely anything—absolutely anything—and never be held accountable, not only while you are President, but forever,” she added, claiming Trump has previously “activated pro-Trump paramilitary groups.”

She concluded, “If you have somebody who is a criminal or is authoritarian-minded when they get in there armed with this ruling, there is nothing they cannot do.”

In fact, the Supreme Court ruling is clear that a President only has a presumption in favor of immunity from prosecution when “exercising his core constitutional powers,” which do not include sending “death squads” after U.S. citizens.

Presidents also remain accountable outside the regular court system through constitutionally proper impeachment proceedings in Congress.

ICYMI: Bannon Bulldozes Corporate Media on Jan 6, Election Integrity.

War Room host Stephen K. Bannon bulldozed ABC News’ Jonathan Karl in an interview ahead of his imprisonment for defying the corrupt January 6 Committee, turning the tables on the corporate media hitman as he asked him to tell Donald Trump supporters to “respect the results” of the 2024 election.

“Have you asked a Democrat this question?” Bannon demanded. “Yes or no? The answer’s no,” he said, before repeating the question to a dumbfounded Karl.

“Have, uh, have, have, I haven’t seen, I haven’t seen Democrats storm the Capitol to try and stop an election,” stammered the ABC journalist, a partisan actor who has authored anti-Trump books, such as the prematurely titled 2021 tract Betrayal: The Final Act of the Trump Show.

Bannon pressed Karl on extreme statements by Democrats such as Jamie Raskin, prompting Karl to cut in with a testy, “I have no problem asking Democrats if they’re going to respect the election.”

“Then why don’t you do it?” Bannon asked. “The only reason you’re gonna have to is we put a pitchfork to your back and said, ‘Why don’t you ask Democrats?'”

“Here’s the bottom line,” Bannon concluded, rolling over Karl’s feeble attempts to interject again. “When this is adjudicated and reviewed, if they are certifiable, chain of custody ballots and votes from American citizens, then hey, whatever that outcome is, is totally fair. Until the time that we get that, all bets are off.”

Surveys suggest around a fifth of mail-in ballots in 2020 were fraudulent.
