‘Politicized Justice’ — Trump AG to Review Lawfare Cases Brought by Jack Smith, Alvin Bragg, and Letitia James.

Attorney General Pam Bondi is creating a “Weaponization Working Group” to review the lawfare cases brought against President Donald J. Trump prior to his reelection, to investigate whether they amounted to “politicized justice.” Former Special Counsel Jack Smith, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, and New York Attorney General Letitia James will be the first to be reviewed, according to reports.

Bondi is issuing a memo warning, “When Justice Department attorneys refuse to faithfully carry out their role by, for example, refusing to advance good-faith arguments or declining to sign briefs, it undermines the constitutional order and deprives the President of the benefit of his lawyers,” and that “any Justice Department attorney who declines to sign a brief, refuses to advance good-faith arguments on behalf of the Trump administration, or otherwise delays or impedes the Justice Department’s mission will be subject to discipline and potentially termination.”

Smith’s federal cases against Trump, centered on the America First leader’s alleged mishandling of classified documents and involvement in the unrest at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021, both fell apart in shambolic fashion, with a judge finding he had not even been constitutionally appointed.

Bragg’s highly dubious and novel state case against Trump, notionally concerned with so-called hush money payments, is the only one to have resulted in convictions—currently subject to appeal—despite even CNN judging it to be an “ill-conceived, unjustified mess.”

James’s civil fraud case was similarly dubious, relying on, among other things, an absurdly low valuation of Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate. Appellate judges seem highly skeptical of the case, questioning its legal basis and apparent lack of precedent, as well as the enormous $454 million penalty handed down by Democrat donor judge Arthur Engoron, considering Trump’s offense of supposedly overvaluing his net worth during a loan application created no victims, with the loan paid off in full with no complaint by the bank involved.

CIA Offers Resignation Buyouts as Trump Drive to Cut Bureaucracy Continues.

The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) is offering employees generous resignation packages as President Donald J. Trump’s administration seeks to downsize the federal government. The CIA has introduced a buyout program of “deferred resignation,” enabling employees to resign while continuing to receive pay through September of this year.

This initiative is part of broader efforts to reduce the federal bureaucracy, overseen by tech billionaire Elon Musk. Initially, national security-related agencies were partially excluded from the governmentwide offer, but CIA Director John Ratcliffe advocated for a tailored version for his agency’s personnel.

The CIA’s approach allows the agency to control the timing of accepted resignations, ensuring critical positions are not vacated simultaneously. The offer’s structure resembles the general program implemented across the federal government. Employees received an email on Tuesday outlining the chance to leave by September 30 but still receive pay for the intervening period. So far, the scheme has reduced the federal bureaucracy by around 20,000.

The effort aims to encourage long-serving CIA officers, especially those hired in the aftermath of 9/11, to consider early retirement. Ratcliffe hopes to phase out underperformers while creating advancement opportunities for promising mid-level officers currently blocked by longer-serving personnel.

President Trump first offered to buy out federal career employees after signing an executive order ending COVID-19-era work-from-home policies. Employees have until this Thursday to accept the offer, allowing them to work from home until the fall if they resign.

Bookmakers Boost Donald Trump Jr.’s Presidential Odds.

Betting patterns suggest that Donald Trump Jr.’s prospects of becoming U.S. President after the 2028 presidential election have significantly improved. Star Sports, a prominent bookmaker, reports 25/1 odds for Don Jr. to assume the presidency, up from just 66/1 immediately following the 2024 election in November.

Among Republicans, he is second only to J.D. Vance in popularity, with a poll by McLaughlin & Associates in late January finding 21 percent favor him to become 2028 candidate, against 27 percent for the Vice President.

President Donald J. Trump, 78, will likely be unable to pursue a third term unless the Constitution is amended, despite some in the corporate media panicking that he may try to circumvent the two-term limit through a constitutionally questionable process involving running for the vice presidency and having the person at the top of the ticket abdicate in his favor following their inauguration.

Unlike his sister, Ivanka Trump, and his sister-in-law, Lara Trump, Don Jr. has not taken formal positions in President Trump’s campaigns or administrations. However, he has increasingly emerged as a de facto representative of the America First movement to the official team and recently led something like an informal diplomatic mission to Greenland, which President Trump hopes to acquire.

Following Trump’s Return, Zelensky Agrees to Meet with Putin.

Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky has stated that he is now willing to meet with Russia’s President Vladimir Putin to end the conflict between their countries. Zelensky told British journalist Piers Morgan on Tuesday that he is willing to talk face-to-face with President Putin if that is “the only way to achieve peace for Ukrainians and not lose people.”

For the first time, Zelensky admitted Ukraine cannot recover the territory it has lost to Russia and that it is unwise to “lose millions of people in pursuit of a result that may not come.” He suggested Ukraine can pivot to using diplomatic and political strategies to restore Ukrainian control over lost territories.

According to Zelensky, around 45,000 Ukrainians have died in the war, which began in February of 2022, and around 390,000 have been wounded. He claims that Russian casualties amount to 350,000 killed and as many as 700,000 wounded. However, Russia estimates Ukrainian casualties of up to one million while treating its own losses as classified.

Russia has described Zelensky’s statements on negotiations with Putin as “empty.” Still, it says it is open to talks and that contact with the U.S. government has increased since President Donald J. Trump replaced Joe Biden.

Russia has refused to recognize Zelensky since his term as president ended in May last year. Due to Ukraine’s martial law, there have been no new elections.

U.S. Govt Spent Millions of Tax Dollars Underwriting Corporate Media.

The United States federal government has spent hundreds of millions of dollars over the last two decades on corporate media subscriptions and secondary services new outlets provide, such as databases, newswire services, marketing tools, and media monitoring. While the payments are dubiously justified by claims that the subscriptions are necessary for productivity, critics contend that the government contracts look more like the government is directly funding the media. One of the more concerning instances is numerous contracts held by government agencies with POLITICO—which infamously and falsely declared the Hunter Biden laptop to be Russian disinformation, citing “[m]ore than 50 former senior intelligence officials.”

In the case of POLITICO, the outlet received $8.1 million in government payments through over 200 transactions. Most of the payments are from various federal departments and agencies paying for subscription fees, though some are for higher-cost products like databases, email distribution, and other services. Another major recipient of government payments is Thomson Reuters and its various subsidiaries. Combined, the network of Reuters media and business properties has received nearly $20 million in government payments in recent years.

A SUBSCRIPTION RACKET.

Increasingly, major corporate media outlets like POLITICO—which is owned by the German-based media company Axel Springer SE—and Thomson Reuters—a Canadian media conglomerate—are offering high-priced business and government subscription services. In exchange for the often five or even six-figure annual subscriptions, government officials and corporate executives are given access to databases, paywalled media stories, email distribution tools, market analysis, and public relations tools.

While corporate news outlets claim these tools are necessary for their subscribers, the practice actually appears to be intended to siphon taxpayer dollars through upselling relatively unused services. Critics note that in some instances, the databases that government subscribers are given access to are often just repackaged or better-organized government data.

THE LAPTOP FROM HELL.

Additionally, the reliance on government spending raises ethical concerns regarding the influence of news coverage. During the 2020 election, POLITICO served as the key instigator in a corporate media narrative that framed the contents of Hunter Biden’s laptop as Russian disinformation. Underpinning their story is a letter signed by over 50 American intelligence officials, which itself appears to have been coordinated by Joe Biden’s presidential campaign and other figures aligned with the Democratic Party.

Notably, the corporate media continued to insist the laptop and its content were part of a Russian influence operation even after the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) quietly confirmed that the laptop’s content was authentic and belonged to Hunter Biden.

FCC Launches Probe Into Soros-Backed Radio Stations Undermining ICE.

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has initiated an investigation into certain radio stations supported by billionaire plutocrat George Soros. These stations are under scrutiny for allegedly broadcasting live locations of undercover U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents. The investigation comes after a report highlighted that a group backed by Soros acquired over 200 Audacy radio stations, granting substantial media influence across more than 40 markets in the United States.

One of the stations under examination is KCBS 740 AM, located in San Francisco. The FCC’s inquiry focuses on the station’s broadcast, which revealed the locations of ICE agents involved in deportation operations in San Jose. According to sources, this disclosure included specific details about the undercover vehicles used by the agents.

In response, the FCC’s Enforcement Bureau has issued a formal Letter of Inquiry to KCBS, seeking to determine if the station violated its FCC license obligations. Such licenses mandate broadcasters to operate in the public interest. Broadcasting locations of agents could potentially endanger them, an action considered contrary to public safety objectives.

Commissioner Brendan Carr, appointed during the Trump administration, emphasized the risks posed to ICE agents from such broadcasts. Carr stressed the FCC’s dedication to enforcing compliance with public interest obligations, emphasizing the importance of ICE agents’ safety.

The ICE agents involved were reportedly handling operations in response to activities linked to violent gangs. Carr expressed gratitude for the work of Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and ICE personnel.

The FCC’s actions against KCBS will likely set a precedent for how broadcaster responsibilities are interpreted concerning public safety matters.

Europe Melts Down After Trump Says U.S. ‘Will Take Over the Gaza Strip.’

Western Europe’s leading governments are in panic after President Donald J. Trump suggested the United States will “take over the Gaza Strip,” with its Palestinian residents relocating—possibly never to return—while the area is cleared of unexploded ordnance and redeveloped. “The U.S. will take over the Gaza Strip, and we will do a job with it, too. We’ll own it, and be responsible for dismantling all of the dangerous unexploded bombs and other weapons on the site, level the site, and get rid of the destroyed buildings, level it out, [and] create an economic development that will supply unlimited numbers of jobs and housing for the people of the area, do a real job, do something different,” Trump said at a press conference alongside Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday, adding: “Just can’t go back. If you go back, it’s going to end up the same way it has for 100 years.”

Purporting to speak on behalf of “the [Group of Seven], the European Union, and the United Nations,” Germany’s Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock said that “the civilian population of Gaza must not be expelled and Gaza must not be permanently occupied or repopulated.” She insisted, “Expelling the Palestinian civilian population from Gaza would not only be unacceptable and contrary to international law” but “lead to new suffering and new hatred.”

The French government said it opposes “any forced displacement of the Palestinian population of Gaza,” and the British government said the Palestinians must “live and prosper in their homelands in Gaza, in the West Bank.”

President Trump has suggested Gazans should relocate to neighboring Egypt and Jordan, asking, “Why would they want to return? The place has been Hell; it’s been one of the meanest, toughest places on earth.”

However, Egypt and Jordan have previously indicated they do not want to take in any Palestinians, with Egyptian officials previously threatening to “send them to Europe” if they end up on their territory.

Drone Bomb Threats Escalate for U.S. Border Agents: Report.

Mexican cartels are now threatening U.S. Border Agents with weaponized drones armed with explosives as President Donald J. Trump aims to shut down their activities. Leaked documents reveal rising threats on social media, including calls for lethal actions against U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers, correlating with an uptick in dangerous rhetoric online.

A U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) representative emphasized the agency’s dedication to safeguarding personnel, local communities, and migrants: “We remain vigilant and stand ready to ensure the security of our borders,” the spokesman stated.

In the wake of these threats, CBP has circulated memos to its agents, highlighting calls to violence against ICE officers. Content on platforms like TikTok depicts aggressive actions against ICE personnel, and a memo references authorized attacks using drones equipped with explosives.

President Trump has warned of possible military action against the cartels, saying, “They’re killing our people. They’re killing 250, 300,000 American people a year, not 100, like has been reported for 15 years. It’s probably 300,000.”

This week, Canada agreed to declare the cartels as terrorist entities as part of a new deal between Canada and the United States to boost security at the border and halt the supply of the deadly drug fentanyl.

The Trump administration threatened 25 percent tariffs on Canadian goods but delayed the tariffs for a month following the agreement.

NY AG Letitia James Orders Hospitals to Ignore Trump Ban on Transing Kids.

New York Attorney General Letitia James has demanded healthcare facilities not abide by President Donald J. Trump’s ban on transgender procedures for minors, telling them to obey state laws instead. The Democrat’s stance comes in response to an executive order signed by President Trump on January 28, which aims to protect children from “chemical and surgical mutilation,” which includes puberty blockers and other related procedures.

The executive order condemns interventions such as puberty blockers, hormone therapies, and surgeries intended to alter physical appearance in line with gender ideology. It argues that these procedures, advertised as “gender-affirming care,” can result in irreversible consequences, including lifelong medical issues and sterilization.

James’s letter, addressed to healthcare organizations that are federally funded, emphasizes adherence to New York State laws against discrimination based on sex and gender identity. It clarifies that denying services based on gender identity amounts to unlawful discrimination under state legislation.

Meanwhile, Virginia, Colorado, and Washington, D.C. hospitals have paused their gender-related pediatric care programs to assess compliance with the executive order.

The move by Attorney General James comes as others have fought against President Trump’s executive order on recognizing only two legal sexes. One transgender prisoner has filed a lawsuit to block Trump’s order, which also mandates that transgender “women” be placed in men’s prisons.

First Flights of Illegal Immigrants to Guantanamo Bay Confirmed.

President Donald J. Trump’s administration has initiated the transfer of illegal aliens to Guantanamo Bay, with the first flights reportedly underway. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt announced the beginning of the deportation flights on February 4. The action follows Trump’s recent promise to utilize the facility, commonly referred to as Gitmo, to hold the most dangerous illegals.

Leavitt emphasized that Trump is taking definitive steps against criminal aliens following the signing of the Laken Riley Act. She explained that these measures are intended to prevent the U.S. from becoming a “dumping ground” for criminals from various countries. This policy also includes collaborative efforts with Venezuela and Colombia to repatriate their nationals.

Trump is turning to Guantanamo partly due to concerns over whether certain countries will keep their criminals in detention. As another option, El Salvador‘s President Nayib Bukele has also offered President Trump the use of prison facilities in his country for migrant criminals.

Describing Gitmo as a secure and restrictive facility, Trump expressed confidence that this strategy would impede the return of illegals to the U.S. He emphasized the administration’s resolve to address what they view as criminal activity linked to illegal migration, affirming that the facility is “a tough place to get out of.”
