Washington D.C. has passed 100 annual homicides earlier in the year than at any point since 2003. The “grim milestone”, as Mayor Muriel Bowser put it, was reached with a spate of deadly shootings across Tuesday night and the early hours of Wednesday morning, one of which involved a woman in her sixties.
Overall, homicides are 22 percent higher than they were at this point in 2022, and on course to surpass 200 by year’s end for the third year in a row.
Prior to 2021, annual homicides had not hit the 200 mark since 2003. In 2020, this mark was just barely missed, with homicides reaching what was then a 15-year high at 198.
The news comes despite the American capital having some of the most stringent gun control laws in the country. Indeed, firearms offenses have only increased in recent years, and are currently up by 40 percent on 2017.
The Government of the District of Columbia is dominated from top to bottom by the Democrats, with a Democrat mayor and Democrat politicians representing every one of its Council wards.

Britain is banning the use of puberty blockers for children, with the nation opting to only allow the drugs to be used for research purposes. Such drugs are routinely available and increasingly prescribed in the United States.
The National Health Service (NHS) in England published an update on Friday, stating: “We are… proposing that, outside of a research setting, puberty-suppressing hormones should not be routinely commissioned for children and adolescents who have gender incongruence/dysphoria.”
James Esses from the “Thoughtful Therapists” group welcomed the decision: “The fact that the NHS is holding firm on their intention to prevent the use of puberty blockers outside of the context of clinical trials is seismic.
“This will hopefully bring an end to vulnerable children being placed down a pathway to irreversible harm.”

Until recently, the Biden administration also employed a member of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence order of “queer and trans nuns” at the Office of Nuclear Energy.
Sam Briton, alias Sister Ray Dee O’Active, had defended the website rentboy.com, shut down in 2015 following a raid connected to underage prostitution, but still became one of the top earners in government service, with “Q clearance” access to highly sensitive classified information.
Brinton lost his job after being caught stealing airport luggage to procure women’s underwear while on government business, and was recently arrested.
According to the data, one in five Americans say the 2020 election was stolen from Donald Trump, but a paltry 4.4 per cent believe in using force to restore Trump to the White House, undermining the oft-repeated claim that Trump supporters are inherently violence or present any real “threat” to the nation or its institutions.

Paula Reid, the CNN correspondent pushing alleged recordings of Donald Trump related to the “boxes hoax”, is married to a Chinese Communist Party (CCP) lobbyist.
Reid, 40, was derided for “bombshell” reporting in late May that Trump had “acknowledge[d] he held onto a classified Pentagon document” after leaving the White House, based on a recording CNN had “not listened to,” relying on “sources” who “described it” to them.
Now Reid claims she has a transcript of the alleged recording in which Trump says: “As President, I could have declassified [secret information], but now I can’t.”
This would not preclude Trump from having declassified documents while he still was President, but he has still been indicted by the Biden regime.
Reid was investigated by The National Pulse in 2022 due to her habit of pushing the baseless Russia collusion hoax, and it was discovered that her husband, Jason Kolsevich, worked for the American Chamber of Commerce in China.
“AmCham China” is a effectively a pro-Chinese Communist Party lobbying group, carrying water for the regime in Beijing in order to secure its interests in the communist state.
Kolsevich is also a graduate of Peking University, an institution headed by a Chinese spy chief where the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) fears American students are “co-opted by Chinese espionage efforts.”
Trump took a markedly harder line on the Chinese Communist Party, Chinese industrial espionage, and the outsourcing of American jobs to China than his predecessors and successor.

Liberal media darling Rachel Maddow said the quiet part out loud on Thursday night, admitting that Joe Biden’s Justice Department may be looking for a “political solution” in its cases against former President Donald John Trump. Maddow’s clip has since gone viral, with many recognizing her comparison to the 1970s case of Vice President Spiro Agnew as a dog whistle for election interference.
The news comes as new data shows Trump trouncing Biden in a head-to-head, while his opponents such as Governor Ron DeSantis still struggle against the incumbent president.
“You have to wonder if the Justice Department is considering whether there is some political solution to this criminal problem,” Maddow told Lawrence O’Donnell on MSNBC.
“Whether part of the issue here is not just that Trump has committed crimes, but that Trump has committed crimes and plans on being back in the White House. Do they consider as part of a potential plea offer, something that would proscribe him… proscribe him from running for office again? I don’t know.”
In other words: if Trump agrees to not run in 2024, the charges magically go away. You know, like a tin-pot dictatorship.

The 45th President faces charges related to his document retention after he left the White House, despite the fact that the Commander-in-Chief has full declassification authority.
In response to seven charges allegedly being leveled in Florida, Trump posted to Truth Social: “The corrupt Biden Administration has informed my attorneys that I have been Indicted, seemingly over the Boxes Hoax, even though Joe Biden has 1850 Boxes at the University of Delaware, additional Boxes in Chinatown, D.C., with even more Boxes at the University of Pennsylvania, and documents strewn all over his garage floor where he parks his Corvette, and which is “secured” by only a garage door that is paper thin, and open much of the time.
“I have been summoned to appear at the Federal Courthouse in Miami on Tuesday, at 3 PM. I never thought it possible that such a thing could happen to a former President of the United States, who received far more votes than any sitting President in the History of our Country, and is currently leading, by far, all Candidates, both Democrat and Republican, in Polls of the 2024 Presidential Election. I AM AN INNOCENT MAN!

Marc Lampkin, a leading fundraiser for Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, has benefited from millions of dollars flowing from the Chinese Communist Party’s tech giant Tencent Holdings since 2020.
Between 2020 and 2023, Brownstein Hyatt – where Lampkin is a government relations managing partner and shareholder – received a total of $2,130,000 million from the Chinese firm despite then-President Donald Trump’s 2020 executive order which attempted to ban U.S. transactions with Tencent.
Tencent is the tech company responsible for WeChat, a messaging and social media app, which has been utilized by the Chinese Communist Party to suppress dissenting views and closely monitor the private conversations of Chinese citizens. Trump’s attempts to ban WeChat were dropped by President Biden.
Lampkin – who is also a lobbyist on behalf of Moderna, manufacturer of one of the COVID-19 mRNA vaccines – is part of the host committee for the “Ron DeSantis For President” fundraiser in Washington D.C. this month, for which tickets cost upwards of $1,000.
He has previously served as strategic advisor to former House Speaker John A. Boehner, as well as having been the deputy campaign manager for the Bush for President campaign.
While Governor DeSantis has been keen to stop Chinese land purchases in Florida, he has never broached the issue of Tencent and its like, though he has not been shy to fight major American corporations.

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz was heckled and booed after delivering comments in support of the war in Ukraine. His verbal assailants appeared to be members of his own Social Democrat Party, who chanted “Kriegstreiber,” or “warmonger,” at the 64-year-old European leader.
In response, Scholz – who took over from Angela Merkel in 2021 – angrily seized the microphone and proceeded to shout “Liebe Schreihälse,” which in this context means, “dear crybabies”:
“Firstly, [the] warmonger is Putin!” he yelled, going on to state: “He invaded Ukraine with 200,000 soldiers. He has mobilized many more. He risked the lives of his own citizens for an imperialist dream. Putin wants to destroy, conquer Ukraine, and he has others in mind. We, as friends of freedom, as democrats, as Europeans, will not allow this.”
The crowd, however, was having none of it.

Ron DeSantis’s collapsing campaign has been attempting to peddle fake, AI-generated images of former President Donald J. Trump hugging and kissing Dr. Anthony Fauci. The incident comes just days after the DeSantis team launched a corporate media-inspired campaign to “fact check” Trump supporters on Twitter.
Shared by the DeSantis War Room social media account first set up by illegal immigrant supporter and DeSantis confidante Christina Pushaw, a new attack advert features a collage of six images of Trump with the former public health official captioned: “REAL LIFE TRUMP”.
Three of the six images depicting Trump hugging and even kissing Fauci, however, are not from “real life” at all, and represent a new weaponization of fake news against the 45th President.

The effort appears to be an attempt to deflect from DeSantis’s own troubling record with Fauci. On March 25th 2020, DeSantis heaped praise on then-Vice President Mike Pence’s COVID task force:
“You have a lot of people there who are working very, very hard, and they’re not getting a lot of sleep. And they’re really focusing on a big country that we have. And from Dr. Birx to Dr. Fauci to the vice president who’s worked very hard, the surgeon general, they’re really doing a good job. It’s a tough, tough situation, but they’re working hard.”
