Farage’s Reform Party Pledges to Stop Non-English Speakers from Voting.

The Reform UK party, led by Nigel Farage, has introduced an Election Integrity Bill aimed at overhauling Britain’s voting laws to combat electoral fraud and foreign interference.

PULSE POINTS
❓ WHAT HAPPENED: Nigel Farage’s Reform UK has proposed mandatory English proficiency checks to vote, among other election integrity measures.
📺 DETAIL: Reform’s newly unveiled Election Integrity Bill would remove voting rights for Commonwealth citizens, limit postal (mail-in) voting, and implement mandatory English proficiency tests at polling stations. A Commonwealth citizen is someone who is a citizen of a member state of the Commonwealth of Nations, a voluntary association of nations, the vast majority of which were former colonies or dependencies of the British Empire. Under British law, Commonwealth citizens are currently allowed to vote in British elections, even if they do not hold British citizenship. This covers swathes of Africa and Asia and is largely not reciprocal. The measures to limit postal voting are intended to combat mail-in ballot fraud, similar to initiatives pursued in the United States by President Donald J. Trump. The bill also contains provisions against “family voting” and voter coercion. Family voting is a form of electoral fraud in which a family enters a voting booth together, with husbands, in particular, able to control how their wives and children cast their ballots. The measures would also ensure that election material is only published in British languages such as English, Welsh, and Gaelic, or Braille or British Sign Language (BSL) for the visually and audibly impaired.
💬 KEY QUOTE: “With every election, our democracy is being systematically eroded. Britain’s electoral system—once the envy of the world—now buckles under the strain of uncontrolled immigration. In too many parts of the country, elections have been captured by foreign conflicts and sectarian interests, not by what is best for Britain. Reform UK will not stand by while our political system is undermined. Britain should be run in the interests of the British people. That’s why we are introducing these changes to save our democracy,” said Danny Kruger, Reform UK Member of Parliament (MP) and head of the party’s Department for Preparing for Government.
🎯 IMPACT: If enacted, the bill could fundamentally reshape British voting practices, representing a major step forward for election integrity in the country. Britain already requires voter ID to participate in elections, so this bill would build upon past victories. The bill is a response to potential and verified cases of voter fraud at recent elections.

DHS Confirms Arrest of Milo Yiannopoulos as ‘Illegal Alien from the United Kingdom.’

British political personality Milo Yiannopoulos has been detained by ICE for overstaying his visa in the United States.

PULSE POINTS
❓ WHAT HAPPENED: The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has confirmed the arrest of Milo Yiannopoulos by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) at the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport for overstaying his visa.
📰 DETAIL: According to DHS, Yiannopoulos entered the United States legally on May 14, 2019, but failed to leave after his visa expired. An immigration judge issued a final order of removal on July 22 after he did not attend his immigration hearing.
💬 KEY QUOTE: “Yiannopoulos legally entered the country on May 14, 2019, through New York City, New York. He chose to overstay his welcome in violation of our nation’s laws. Yiannopoulos was issued a final order of removal by an Immigration Judge on July 22, after failing to show up for his immigration hearing. He will remain in ICE custody pending removal.” – DHS statement
🎯 IMPACT: Independent reporter and commentator Laura Loomer has taken credit for the arrest of Yiannopoulos, posting on X (formerly Twitter) that “When Milo called for me to be assassinated, I reported him to ICE and the FBI.” ICE is encouraging illegal aliens to self-deport using the CBP Home App, offering $3,000 and a free flight for those who comply.

Farage’s Reform Party on Track to Become Largest Party in Parliament.

New polling has revealed that Nigel Farage’s Reform UK party is on track to become the largest party in Britain’s Parliament.

PULSE POINTS
❓ WHAT HAPPENED: Nigel Farage’s Reform UK party would become the largest party in Parliament if an election were held today, according to a new poll.
📺 DETAIL: According to a major poll commissioned by far-left activist group HOPE Not Hate and conducted by research agency Survation, Reform would secure 227 out of the 650 seats in the House of Commons if a general election were held today. A party requires 326 seats to form a majority, meaning that Reform would be the largest party in a hung parliament; that is, one in which no party has enough seats to govern alone. The poll showed the governing Labour Party on 197 seats, a significant drop from the 411 seats it secured in the previous election in 2024. The Liberal Democrats, a party that wants Britain to rejoin the European Union, and Olukemi “Kemi” Badenoch’s nominally center-right Conservative Party are projected to secure 72 seats and 71 seats, respectively. The poll also put the left-wing separatist Scottish National Party (SNP) on 46 seats. Meanwhile, Zack Polanski’s far-left Green Party was projected as earning four seats, representing a drop from their current five seats. The median majority in a seat was 7.6 percent, with 170 seats decided by five percent or less. The poll surveyed 10,014 British adults and was conducted between July 22 and July 27.
🎯 IMPACT: The poll shows that Reform is leading Labour despite the so-called “Burnham Bounce,” an uptick in support for the Labour Party following the recent departure of unpopular former Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer and his replacement with incumbent Prime Minister Andy Burnham. The fact that the Liberal Democrats have parity with the Conservatives, despite the latter regularly polling several percentage points higher, is a feature of the country’s First-Past-The-Post (FPTP) system, which is also used in the United States for congressional elections. FPTP rewards concentrated support in individual seats rather than proportionally distributing seats according to vote share. This poll not only shows a collapse in support for the establishment Labour and Conservative parties but declining support for Zack Polanski’s Green Party. In the event of a hung Parliament, parties may attempt to govern alone, although this is practically difficult, as the opposition parties can combine to defeat a minority government’s legislative agenda. A coalition government resulting from deals between multiple parties would be more likely, or a so-called “confidence and supply” agreement in which a smaller party agrees to lend support to a larger party in key votes without officially forming a coalition.
📺 FLASHBACK: This adds to several polling leads secured by Reform since Prime Minister Burnham entered office. In early August, a poll gave Reform a lead of one percentage point over Labour. Later that same month, another poll gave Reform a narrow lead over Labour. Less than a week later, Reform’s lead increased to two percent.

Migrants Applying for Permanent Settlement in UK Hits 16-Year High.

The United Kingdom is seeing a significant rise in migrant settlement applications as new government reforms are set to extend waiting periods for indefinite leave to remain.

PULSE POINTS
❓ WHAT HAPPENED: The number of migrants applying for indefinite leave to remain (ILR) in Britain, roughly equivalent to permanent residency in the U.S., has reached a 16-year high, with 199,628 applications in the year to June 2026. This marks a 24 percent increase from the previous year.
💬 KEY QUOTE: “The Home Office granted settlement to 199,628 people in the year to June, up 24% from 161,585 and the highest annual total since June 2011. A further 245,520 grants of British citizenship were made, and naturalisations remained more than 45% above their 2010–19 annual average.” – Raheem Kassam, The National Pulse Editor-in-Chief
📰 DETAIL: This surge under Prime Minister Andy Burnham’s Labour government comes as migrants who arrived in Britain during the “Boriswave,” an unprecedented spike in mass migration under former “Conservative” Prime Minister Boris Johnson, are beginning to hit the five-year minimum period in the country required to claim ILR. Incumbent Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood plans to introduce reforms that will double the waiting period for most migrants to qualify for ILR, but it appears likely that Burnham will significantly water down or even scrap these reforms, under pressure from pro-open borders lawmakers within his party.
🎯 IMPACT: Mahmood’s supposedly impending changes may have prompted a rush among migrants to secure their status, fearing it may become harder if the government follows through on tightening the requirements. An estimated 1.6 million migrants are set to qualify for ILR between 2026 and 2030.
📈 DATA: Alongside the rise in ILR applications, 245,520 people were granted British citizenship in the same period, a slight decrease from the previous year but still near record highs.

WATCH: Kassam Calls Out The Times Over Stealth Edits to Fake Story.

Raheem Kassam, Editor-in-Chief of The National Pulse, called out The Times of London for drastically altering a report on a supposed conversation between British “Conservative” leader Olukemi “Kemi” Badenoch and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.

PULSE POINTS
❓ WHAT HAPPENED: Raheem Kassam, Editor-in-Chief of The National Pulse, appeared on GB News on Wednesday to discuss The Times of London, Britain’s de facto newspaper of record, radically stealth-editing a report claiming Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni advised Olukemi “Kemi” Badenoch, the Nigeria-raised leader of Britain’s notionally center-right “Conservative” Party, against making a deal with Nigel Farage and his Reform UK party. Crucially, the original story was doctored post-publication with no editor’s note added and no public correction issued.
💬 KEY QUOTE: “In almost two decades of political media experience, I have never seen a situation where a major national newspaper has 50 percent cut the story in half, removed the headline, completely changed it, completely changed the material of the story, removed all the crux, and not even bothered to put out a correction, a retraction, or anything like that… If we are to trust media outlets, then they have to hold their hands up and be very honest when they do things like this. This was an 800-word story that was prominent in the newspaper, that was on their front page on their website, all day long yesterday… until it wasn’t.” – Raheem Kassam
📰 DETAIL: The Times‘ report initially suggested a significant political intervention against Farage by Meloni, which was later denied by her office. After its alteration, the article was slashed from 756 words to just 477, with the central claims removed. Speaking to GB News, Kassam demanded, “We need to know: was it Kemi Badenoch and her team lying to The Times or was it The Times lying to their readers?”
🎯 IMPACT: The incident raises questions about the integrity of The Times, with sources close to Meloni telling The National Pulse on Tuesday morning the Italian premier never spoke to Badenoch about a possible pact between the Conservatives and Reform. The Times‘ political editor, Steve Swinford, seemingly accepted the claims from the Conservative Party leader’s press team at face value, without fact-checking with the Italians or seeking corroboration from another source.

Farage’s Reform Party Promises to Give Tax Refunds to People Kept Waiting on the Phone by Tax Office.

Reform UK has announced plans to improve service standards at His Majesty’s Revenue and Customs (HMRC), Britain’s tax-collecting authority, by reimbursing taxpayers facing long wait times on the phone with tax credits and tying senior tax officials’ pay to their performance.

PULSE POINTS
❓ WHAT HAPPENED: Nigel Farage’s Reform UK party has announced that taxpayers forced to wait over 30 minutes for HMRC customer service would receive a £30 (~$48) tax credit.
📺 DETAIL: Robert Jenrick, Reform’s Shadow Chancellor, announced the proposal on Wednesday. It follows a report from last year by the Public Accounts Committee, a parliamentary committee overseeing government expenditure, which criticized HMRC for cutting off nearly 44,000 customers after hour-long waits in 2024. The report warned that “HMRC’s treatment of taxpayers has damaged trust in the tax system.” The report even accused the agency of trying to “degrade its telephone service to drive taxpayers to digital channels.” Reform also proposed tying the salaries of senior HMRC officials to their performance. Reform’s plans aim to address complaints about long delays and poor service, although the party clarified that payments would be limited to two cases per tax year to prevent abuse. The party also announced plans to replace the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the European Union-designed system of information privacy still used in Britain, with a “light-touch” privacy framework modeled on New Zealand’s information privacy system, claiming the existing rules place excessive red tape on tech firms and small businesses.
💬 KEY QUOTE: “Frankly, it is offensive to working people, and I have had enough. If HMRC delay, they can repay… I’m announcing today that under a Reform government, if you spend more than half an hour waiting for HMRC to answer your call, you will get a £30 credit off your tax bill. If HMRC delay, they can repay. And to make sure that the staff actually hit their targets, we’ll tie the pay of senior HMRC officials to their customer service performance.” – Robert Jenrick.
🎯 IMPACT: If implemented, taxpayers could see direct compensation for poor HMRC service. This policy reflects widespread frustration with Britain’s equivalent of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). This policy is the latest of several economic proposals by Reform, including prioritizing British citizens for social housing and ending the “international welfare state.”

Probe Initiated Into Police Force Responsible for Henry Nowak’s Wrongful Arrest.

An independent review will assess Hampshire Police’s handling of serious violence incidents following the wrongful arrest and murder of Henry Nowak, who was stabbed to death in Southampton, United Kingdom, by Vickrum Digwa.

PULSE POINTS
❓ WHAT HAPPENED: Hampshire Police is facing an investigation following the murder and wrongful arrest of white teenager Henry Nowak in Southampton, England.
📺 DETAIL: The investigation will be conducted by His Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary and Fire & Rescue Service, the independent body responsible for inspecting the police forces and fire services of England and Wales. The investigation will review the force’s ability to respond to cases of serious violence, including call handling, dispatch, decision-making, and officer training. The investigation will also determine whether officers are sufficiently trained to make impartial judgments and respond to emergencies, such as providing first aid. The inspection was requested by Police and Crime Commissioner Donna Jones of Hampshire and Isle of Wight Police. Significantly, the investigation will not examine the specific actions of officers involved in Nowak’s wrongful arrest, which is being handled in a separate gross misconduct probe. The Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) stated: “The evidence indicates that both officers—who were the first to arrive at the scene—may have potentially breached the professional behaviour standards of duties and responsibilities, use of force, and discreditable conduct.”
💬 KEY QUOTE: “The public must have confidence that police officers receive the right information, the right training and the right support to make critical decisions. This inspection will provide an independent assessment of the force’s training, processes, and culture including the handling of allegations of racially aggravated assault. Henry’s family deserve answers, and the public deserve reassurance that their police service is equipped to recognise victims and provide the highest standard of care when it matters most.” – Police and Crime Commissioner Donna Jones
🎯 IMPACT: The investigation aims to restore public confidence in Hampshire Police. The review comes amid widespread accusations of two-tier policing following the Nowak case. This represents the pressure facing Britain’s authorities since Nigel Farage, leader of the Reform UK party, accused the country’s police forces of being captured by “anti-white prejudice.”
📺 FLASHBACK: In December last year, in Southampton, Hampshire, Nowak, an 18-year-old white student, was stabbed to death by 23-year-old Vickrum Digwa with an eight-inch Sikh religious dagger. When the police arrived, Digwa falsely accused Nowak of racial abuse. Despite Nowak’s repeated pleas for help, the police refused to believe he had been stabbed and handcuffed him as he was dying. The release of police bodycam footage of the arrest sparked widespread anger and protests. Digwa later received a minimum sentence of just 21 years in prison.

Reform-Led Local Government Dumps Net Zero Targets, Saves Taxpayers Over $14 Million.

Newcastle-under-Lyme Borough Council, led by Nigel Farage’s Reform UK party, scrapped net zero targets, saving taxpayers over £10.5 million.

PULSE POINTS
❓ WHAT HAPPENED: Newcastle-under-Lyme Borough Council, under the leadership of Nigel Farage’s Reform UK party, has canceled the green agenda targets it inherited to reach net zero carbon emissions by 2030, resulting in taxpayer savings exceeding £10.5 million (~$14.3m).
📰 DETAIL: The council’s decision reversed a 2019 declaration of a supposed “climate emergency” and halted planned expenditures on expensive net zero initiatives, including £2.191 million (~$3m) for electric refuse vehicles and £4.2 million (~$5.7m) for charging infrastructure. Additional savings were identified in other net zero projects.
💬 KEY QUOTE: “We have pulled the plug on the previous administration’s Net Zero spending spree and put taxpayers first. No family would rip out a perfectly good boiler in their own home when it still works, and the council should have the same common sense mentality. Every pound belongs to the taxpayer. It should support reliable services and real improvements in our towns and communities, not disappear into expensive green gimmicks and arbitrary political targets.” – Jonathan Gullis, Council Leader
🎯 IMPACT: The cancellation of net zero plans is expected to reduce projected revenue costs by £603,000 (~$822,000) over the next five years, strengthening the council’s financial stability and enabling investment in local priorities. “Instead of spending millions on ideological Net Zero projects, we want to invest responsibly in our parks, town centers, public spaces, and frontline services,” explained Council Deputy Leader Graham Shaw, pledging that Reform “will continue going through the books, challenging every assumption and refusing to sign off spending simply because the previous administration put it in a plan.”

Farage’s Reform Party Will Prioritize British Parents, Veterans, and Young People for Social Housing.

Nigel Farage’s Reform UK party has unveiled a plan to prioritize British parents, veterans, and young workers over foreign nationals for social housing.

PULSE POINTS
❓ WHAT HAPPENED: Nigel Farage’s Reform UK party has announced a policy to prioritize British-born workers for social housing.
📺 DETAIL: The party announced on Monday that British-born young workers, married couples with children, and military veterans would be prioritized for public housing. Reform estimates that roughly 540,000 social homes are occupied by foreign nationals. “It’s not fair that young British working families can’t get on the housing ladder when overseas nationals have come to the UK and, because of the current rules based on need rather than suitability, they have jumped ahead in the queue. We just don’t think that’s right: I can’t think of another country where you rock up with a family and you expect the local taxpayer in that country to pay for your housing needs,” said Tice. The party also plans to raise £10 billion (~$13.6bn) to build 50,000 homes per year through measures such as reintroducing Right to Buy, a scheme first introduced by Margaret Thatcher which allows social housing occupants to buy their homes, and leveraging local government pension funds.
💬 KEY QUOTE: “We’re saying that the first people we should be looking after are young, British workers—under 35, young British married couples, young British veterans—who have done the right thing. They’ve got a job, they’re doing their best, working in their community, setting a fine example, because the role of the British government is actually to look after British citizens first.” – Richard Tice, Reform Deputy Leader.
🎯 IMPACT: The proposal is the latest major announcement from Reform regarding welfare policy. Earlier this month, the party announced policies to limit most benefit payments to citizens in order to cut the state’s ballooning welfare bill. While the establishment parties have characterized Reform’s recent proposal as divisive, much of the British electorate is likely to support it, with much of the public viewing it as unfair for foreigners to receive social housing ahead of British citizens.
📺 FLASHBACK: Reform has said it plans to dismantle what it has characterized as an “international welfare state” and re-prioritize British-born workers. “What was once a national welfare state morphed into an international welfare state,” stressed Matthew Goodwin, an academic who served as a Reform parliamentary candidate earlier this year.

DATA: Majority of Britons Believe Free Speech Has Eroded Under Ruling Labour Party.

A new poll has revealed widespread public concern regarding the erosion of freedom of speech in the United Kingdom under the current Labour government.

PULSE POINTS
❓ WHAT HAPPENED: Most Britons believe that freedom of speech has worsened under the ruling Labour Party, according to a new poll.
📺 DETAIL: According to a poll conducted by Deltapoll, an independent polling firm, and commissioned by Liberty, a civil liberties organization, 51 percent of Britons say their confidence in the government to protect freedom of speech has worsened over the last two years. The poll revealed that 42 percent noted a decline in their ability to express controversial political opinions without legal consequences. In contrast, only nine percent said free speech protections had improved, while 39 percent of Britons said conditions had stayed the same. The poll also revealed that 39 percent of Britons believe that their ability to speak freely on important issues has worsened under Labour, which regained office after 14 years in opposition in July 2024. Britons also stated that they are less sure about what is and isn’t legal speech. Liberty attributed the decline in free speech confidence to policies such as travel bans on activists, mass arrests of protesters, and stricter protest laws. The organization highlighted bans on speakers at activist Tommy Robinson’s Unite the Kingdom rallies and American far-left commentators Cenk Uyghur and Hasan Piker. The pollsters surveyed more than 2,000 adults.
💬 KEY QUOTE: “The new Prime Minister [Andy Burnham] must see these findings as a warning sign. Free speech is a fundamental right that benefits us all, and a healthy democracy depends on people feeling confident that they can express themselves freely and disagree with each other.” – Akiko Hart, Liberty’s Director
🎯 IMPACT: The findings reinforce the already widespread belief that freedom of speech has effectively disappeared in Britain, especially under Labour. This data is likely to compound ongoing calls to liberalize the country’s speech laws and promote tolerance over self-censorship.
📺 FLASHBACK: The U.S. Department of State has previously expressed concerns that the United Kingdom is backsliding on freedom of speech. In early June, the State Department condemned the rise of two-tier policing in the country. “Ideological conditioning and two-tiered policing are glaring symptoms of civilizational decline. They must be rejected across the West,” the Department announced on X (formerly Twitter).
