UK Govt Blows $128 MILLION on Security for Muslims.

UK Home Secretary James Cleverly is allocating £100 million (~$128 million) to security at Muslim community centers, schools, and mosques at a time when Islamists are intimidating British Jews, politicians, and Israel supporters over the war in Gaza.

The move has been framed as a response to a supposed increase in “hate crimes” targeting Muslims since Hamas attacked Israel on October 7, 2023. However, it is pro-Palestinian demonstrators who have been regularly involved in large-scale, disorderly protests in London since the conflict began, some involving open calls for jihad.

“We will not let events in the Middle East be used as an excuse to justify abuse against British Muslims,” Cleverly said, claiming the funding would provide “reassurance and confidence to UK Muslims at a time when it is crucially needed.”

A significantly smaller sum of £70 million (~$90 million) has been allocated towards increasing security for the Jewish community. The Community Security Trust (CST) advocacy group says anti-Semitic incidents surged to 4,103 last year, over double the figure for 2022. In January, a group of Jews were attacked by a large mob “swearing in Arabic.” No such assaults against Muslims in the UK have been documented.

Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and his Conservative Party have been seeking to curry favor with Muslims since now-former Deputy Chairman Lee Anderson said London Mayor Sadiq Khan had handed control of the capital to his Islamist “mates,” resulting in his suspension from the party.

Anderson, a Member of Parliament (MP), has joined the Reform Party founded by Nigel Farage.

Tommy Robinson Arrested Again. This Time for the Most Ridiculous Reason Yet.

Anti-grooming gangs activist turned citizen reporter Tommy Robinson reports he was arrested on Saturday for celebrating his daughter’s birthday in London with her.

“I can confirm Tommy has been arrested while out with his daughter and her friends celebrating her birthday,” read a statement posted on Robinson’s behalf on his official social media.

The statement added he was held in custody pending an appearance before a judge. He reported being back in personal control of his accounts on Monday.

Robinson was arrested and pepper sprayed while covering the March Against Anti-Semitism as a reporter last year, with London’s Metropolitan Police claiming his mere presence in the nation’s capital was “likely to cause harassment, alarm and distress to others.”

He was charged with refusing to comply with a dispersal order and released on bail conditions including a total ban on organizing or participating in demonstrations in London and a total ban on even entering the city.

Robinson argues the arrest was “illegal,” and that the bail conditions imposed by the Met — which has adopted a comparatively permissive stance towards Islamists trampling war memorials and calling for jihad — violate his human rights.

On Saturday, Robinson – real name Stephen Yaxley-Lennon – took his daughter to the Luton Town vs Crystal Palace football (soccer) match in London. As a result, he was arrested.

“I’m a free man and this is a free country, supposedly,” Robinson said after a court hearing on Monday. As a result of the ban on him entering London, he is unable to perform his work as a citizen reporter, lobby Members of Parliament, and speak to London-based media. His legal fund can be supported, here.

Farage Party Announces Shock Defection of First Member of Parliament.

Nigel Farage’s Reform UK Party has its first Member of Parliament after Ashfield MP Lee Anderson, a former deputy chairman for the governing Conservative Party, defected this morning.

Anderson was recently ousted from the Conservative Party for comments about Islamism and London Mayor Sadiq Khan.

While Farage has no active role in UK politics and simply serves as “honorary president” of the party, the move is reminiscent of the 2015 defections of then Tory MPs Douglas Carswell and Mark Reckless, which helped bring about the 2016 Brexit referendum.

Reform has been slowing rising in the national polls, though underperformed at a recent special election that saw Gaza-loving firebrand George Galloway returned to Parliament.

British Potato Famine? Farmers Warn UK Could Run Out of Staple Crop.

UK farmers have raised alarms over a likely shortage of potatoes, a staple food item in many British households, due to last year’s poor harvest caused by heavy rain.

The potato harvest in November yielded a record low of 4.1 million tonnes, leading to the possibility of relying on stocked supplies. Rain-impacted crop losses were prevalent in October, which saw nearly twice the average rainfall due to storms Agnes, Babet, and Ciaran.

“The British potato harvest has been hit hard by heavy rain and flooding in recent weeks, causing delayed lifting and large crop losses. This was preceded by a cold, wet spring and a cool summer with low light levels,” explained Fred Searle, editor of Fresh Produce Journal.

While there appear to be sufficient stored potatoes to meet existing demand, the situation could change in the coming months. Prices of non-imported potatoes have risen by over 20 percent in supermarkets, with existing stocks predicted to run dry by the summer. This situation could force suppliers to replace UK potatoes with foreign-produced equivalents like those from Egypt.

Rising energy and fertilizer costs have further stressed the agriculture sector and hampered UK potato production. “Potatoes are in my blood, in my DNA. Everything is changing. Five years ago, as a nation, we produced six million tonnes. Now we’re down to four million,” said Tim Rooke, chairman of the National Farmers’ Union Potato Policy Group.

Escalating tensions with Russia have also threatened the UK’s cod and haddock supply. With the dwindling potato situation, Britain’s popular dishes of fish and chips, roast potatoes, fish pies, and even packets of crisps (potato chips) could face an uncertain future.

Syrian Migrant Used in Mass Migration Promo Convicted For Involvement In Grooming Gang.

A Syrian refugee who was given a platform by the BBC in 2016 to promote mass immigration has been convicted of involvement in a grooming gang. Omar and Mohamed Badreddin, as well as Huzaefa Aleboud, were sentenced by a Newcastle court for committing multiple rapes of a 13-year-old girl. A fourth man, Hamoud Al Soaimi, was found guilty of sexual assault.

Between August 2018 and April 2019, the Badreddins, Huzaefa Aleboud, and Hamoud Al Soaimi abused, raped, and tortured their female victim. She told the Newcastle court the men had made her life a “living nightmare.” They threatened her into silence, saying they would either kill her or take her to another country if she did not comply.

The 2016 BBC Newsnight report presented the narrative of Syrian national Omar Badreddin in a sympathetic light, emphasizing the experiences and challenges faced by those displaced by conflict and their struggle to gain refugee status in Western nations. Badreddin was accused of sexual assault shortly after arriving in Great Britain, though he was acquitted of the charges.

“I felt she [the accuser] didn’t want foreigners in this country, and that is why she made up the whole story,” Badreddin told the BBC at the time, blaming racism for the sexual assault allegation. The Newsnight report, hosted by Katie Razzall, concurred with Badreddin, lamenting that in Great Britain, “plenty are suspicious of newcomers with their different customs and traditions.”

The BBC acknowledged its role in platforming Omar Badreddin, saying in a statement, “In any situation, the BBC can only report on the facts as they stand at the time, which is what we did in 2016. The Badreddins’ subsequent crimes are appalling, and we express our sincere sympathies to their victim.”

British NHS Hospital ‘Accidentally’ Chops Off 6 People’s Limbs in 3 Years.

A British hospital has admitted that it mistakenly performed six amputations in three years, a small fraction of an ‘accidental’ amputation epidemic occurring at UK hospitals with as many as 105 over three years.

York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust acknowledged the mistakes — the highest number of incidents in any UK hospital — resulting from medical negligence. The Yorkshire hospital revealed that four of the accidental amputations occurred in 2020, while the remaining two happened in 2021.

However, the Yorkshire hospital is not the only hospital operating under Britain’s socialized healthcare system to have ‘accidentally’ cut off peoples’ limbs. Records disclosed by Accident Claims reveal that Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust also carried out two unnecessary amputations. Five further cases of mistaken amputations resulting from medical negligence occurred at Medway NHS Foundation Trust in Kent.

Three instances also occurred at The George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust in Nuneaton, two in 2020 and one in 2023. East Kent Hospitals University Trust recorded another three in 2020, 2022, and 2023, respectively. Two more ‘accidental’ amputations resulting from negligence were carried out at Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Wiltshire.

North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust, The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, and Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust each recorded one mistaken amputation resulting from negligence.

A further 15 NHS Foundation Trusts across the UK would not provide exact numbers due to patient confidentiality concerns but provided horrifying estimates suggesting that an additional 82 ‘accidental’ amputations due to medical negligence may have occurred:

  • Barnsley Hospital NHS Foundation Trust: Fewer than 10.
  • Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust: Fewer than five.
  • Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust: Fewer than five.
  • Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust: Fewer than five.
  • Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust: Fewer than five.
  • Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust: Fewer than five.
  • Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust: 15 or fewer.
  • Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust: Fewer than five.
  • South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust: Fewer than five.
  • Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust: Fewer than five.
  • The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust: Fewer than 10.
  • University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust: Fewer than five.
  • University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust: Fewer than five.
  • Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust: Between one and five.
  • Wye Valley NHS Trust: Fewer than six.

Military Leak Reveals UK Boots on the Ground in Ukraine.

British soldiers comprise part of the ground forces in Ukraine, assisting Kyiv’s forces in deploying long-range Storm Shadow missiles, according to a German intelligence leak published in Russian media.

The so-called leak revealed a top-secret call between German Air Force officers discussing the potential use of Berlin’s Taurus missiles to target the Kerch Bridge that connects Russia with occupied Crimea. During the conversation, Lt Gen Ingo Gerhartz, the head of the Luftwaffe, detailed Britain’s strategic partnership with Ukraine, which consists of onsite support in missile deployment against targets up to 150 miles within Russian lines.

“When it comes to mission planning,” Gerhartz says in the recording, “I know how the English do it, they do it completely in reachback. They also have a few people on the ground, they do that, the French don’t.”

Dmitry Peskov, spokesman for the Kremlin, said the leak highlights “the direct involvement of the collective West in the conflict in Ukraine.” Despite the exposure of British presence in Ukraine, former UK junior defense minister Tobias Ellwood insisted this should not curtail “serious conversations taking place in the diplomatic corridors between Germany and Britain and indeed Nato, as well as to why this happened in the first place.”

Britain confirmed the presence of a “small number of personnel” in Ukraine, refusing to detail their specific tasks due to escalating tension with Moscow. The news followed a recent statement by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz on not providing Taurus missiles to Ukraine owing to the necessity of German personnel for target control. Scholz warned doing so could inadvertently drag Berlin into a war with Russia.

The Return of Boris Johnson?

UK Conservative Party MP and Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities Michael Gove hinted at a possible return of Boris Johnson — former Prime Minister, former MP, and former Leader of the Conservative Party — in an effort to unite the “Conservative family” in the forthcoming general election campaign.

During an interview with GB News, Gove highlighted the importance of avoiding a “nightmare of a [Kier] Starmer premiership,” stating that the Labour leader “cannot be relied upon to stand up for this country.” Gove also indicated that he would welcome Johnson‘s return to the campaign trail, citing Johnson’s influential role in the Brexit campaign, describing him as a “great campaigner.”

Despite the Conservatives lagging approximately 20 points behind Starmer’s Labour Party in recent polling, Gove denied assertions that the Conservatives failed voters on their promise to “level up the country.” In an attempt to quell concerns, he made assurances that recent announcements signify substantial investments set to impact communities in the North of England.

However, the Conservative Party faces widespread anger and frustration due to a spiraling cost-of-living crisis and failure to address the UK’s migrant crisis, and the return of Boris Johnson may not be enough to reverse the party’s fortunes.

Johnson, who reportedly played a central role in escalating the Russo-Ukraine War, recently made headlines in the U.S. for demanding $1 million from journalist Tucker Carlson in exchange for an interview.

Muslim Man Arrested For Threatening to Kill UK Politician.

A Muslim man was arrested in the United Kingdom this week after allegedly making threats against a by-election candidate due to the politician’s support for Israel. The target of the alleged threats was Simon Danczuk, one of 11 candidates running for a parliament seat in Rochdale following the death of the former MP Sir Tony Lloyd of the Labour Party.

The alleged threats were made in a video message referring to Danczuk, also formerly associated with Labour, as a “white devil” and promising to harm him physically in retaliation for his pro-Israel stance. The Greater Manchester Police received the video on Monday, and subsequent investigations led to the arrest of a 23-year-old Muslim man on Tuesday.

Danczuk had added “Vote for Rochdale not Gaza” as a tagline on his campaign flyer, which the man in the video found offensive. The ReformUK candidate said that he would now require the presence of two security personnel for the remainder of the campaign.

“They stopped me from speaking at a hustings meeting, I’m receiving death threats, and now we’ve got to have security personnel as a candidate going round in an election,” said Danczuk, before adding: “I’ve been doing politics for 35 years and I’ve never known it. It’s outrageous. This isn’t how British politics should work.”

The National Pulse previously reported that the Labour Party pulled support for their candidate, Azhar Ali, in the same by-election. Ali, a former government adviser, claimed Israel allowed the October 7th Hamas terrorist attacks to happen as a pretense to invade Gaza.

Housing For ‘Asylum Seekers’ Costs UK Taxpayers £15 Million EACH DAY.

The UK government spent £4.3 billion more than allocated on asylum support due to a growing backlog in applications, according to Treasury figures. Official estimates put total expenditures at £5.4 billion ($6.8bn) for last year, surpassing the budget of £1 billion set aside for 2023/24 by £4.3 billion. The Treasury figures also indicate the government’s decision to house asylum seekers in hotels has cost UK taxpayers as much as £15 million ($19m) a day.

The Labour Party’s shadow home secretary, Yvette Cooper, called attention to the overspending, citing it as evidence of “complete chaos” in the asylum system under the current Conservative leadership. The National Pulse previously reported that the UK’s Conservative government has let in record numbers of asylum claimants.

The Home Office attributed this additional expenditure to increased instances of small boat arrivals; in a letter to the Home Affairs Select Committee, Permanent Secretary Sir Matthew Rycroft labeled this as a volatile area for budgeting. He also pointed out that efficiency measures are being implemented to ensure better financial management in the asylum system, including the cessation of housing asylum seekers in hotels.

Meanwhile, recent figures from the Home Office show that over 2,000 migrants have arrived in the UK so far this year, having crossed the Channel. This figure is less by 32 percent than the total recorded around the same time in the previous year but higher by 49 percent compared to the numbers from 2022. With a backlog of nearly 100,000 cases, Labour claims that the failure to resolve asylum applications efficiently has led to extravagant spending on asylum accommodation.
