Electronic vote tabulators failed to function for about an hour this morning in Beaver Township, Bay County, Michigan. The machines appear to have been down for about an hour before election officials were able to get them working again.
A local woman, speaking with social media personality Dave Bondy, first reported the issue. “She said the election worker told her the vote tabulator machine went down. She and others who were voting gave their ballots to the worker who assured them the vote would be counted,” Bondy wrote on X (formerly Twitter). He added: “She was also told the worker was calling txhe County Clerk to troubleshoot the issue with the machine.”

About an hour after the initial reports of tabulator issues, Bondy noted that he had been told the malfunction had been fixed, and electronic voting and the use of the machine tabulators had resumed in Beaver Township.
