Blanche mentioned that the DOJ was working with other departments and agencies, such as the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and Homeland Security Investigations (HSI). Blanche confirmed that the DOJ was prepared to arrest elected politicians, specifically criticizing Democrat Governor Tim Walz and Somalia-born Representative Ilhan Omar for obstructing investigations into welfare fraud in their state. “Governor Walz is a great example. He has done… done nothing but sue us, OK? Sue the Department of Justice for trying to get records to understand the fraud happening in his state. So that is his reaction to us trying to save the government’s money and recover against fraudsters, is filing lawsuits against us.”
