Despite the outpouring of support for TPUSA, the leftist Anti-Defamation League (ADL) continued to list TPUSA in its “Glossary of Extremism” even after Kirk’s murder. The ADL’s position drew sharp criticism, particularly as it also defended Antifa as largely non-violent.

In response to the scandal, Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Director Kash Patel announced the bureau would sever ties with the ADL, citing concerns over political bias.

Intersociety’s report notes that a total of 19,100 churches have been attacked since 2009, when the jihadist Boko Haram group began its violent campaign against Christians. Emeka Umeagbalasi, Chairman of Intersociety, emphasized the dire situation for Christians in Nigeria, stating that without urgent action, Christianity could disappear from the country within 50 to 100 years.

“[I]t’s not only that many Christians… have fled the country and settled in different parts of the world, like Europe and America, but also the tens of thousands have been forced into being converted to Islam. Tens, if not hundreds of thousands, have been forcibly converted to Islam and thousands killed in the past 20-30 years,” he said in comments to Crux.

In response to this crisis, U.S. Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) has introduced the Nigeria Religious Freedom Accountability Act of 2025. This legislation aims to designate Nigeria as a Country of Particular Concern and maintain the designation of Boko Haram and Islamic State-West Africa as entities of concern.

“It is long past time to impose real costs on the Nigerian officials who facilitate these activities and my Nigeria Religious Freedom Accountability Act uses new and existing tools to do exactly that,” Cruz said, noting that “Nigerian Christians are being targeted and executed for their faith by Islamist terrorist groups, and are being forced to submit to sharia law and blasphemy laws across Nigeria.”

Antifa activists are hosting a three-day training event in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, this weekend, as the Trump administration designates the movement as a domestic terrorist threat. The event, known as the Philly Skillshare Convergence, is taking place from Friday through Sunday at a secret location. Advertised within Antifa circles, the convergence offers a series of workshops on street-level tactics, digital anonymity, and operational coordination.

One session, titled “Don’t turn yourself in. Be fugitive,” focuses on resisting state coercion and avoiding arrest. Other workshops include lessons on radio communications, encrypted online organizing, and “cyberpunk invisibility.” Promotional graphics feature a hammer, balaclava, and walkie-talkies, symbols commonly associated with “Black Bloc” militants.

The organizers say the event is designed to “strengthen collective capacities” for “organizing [and] attacking.” Attendees are required to request access via the encrypted email service Proton Mail.

The flyer was first posted on the Philly Anti-Capitalist blog, a site that regularly publishes announcements and post-event reports from left-wing activists. The site, which refers to Philadelphia as “occupied Lenapehoking,” hosts materials aimed at Antifa and anarchist groups. It includes a map of all Philadelphia Police Department stations and printable posters that declare, “The time to attack is always now.” The blog encourages anonymous submissions using Tor browser and encryption tools, but warns contributors not to share information that could aid investigations.

This year’s event comes amid heightened scrutiny of Antifa activities. In June, a self-described Antifa sharpshooter was charged with making assassination threats against President Donald J. Trump. In September, investigators linked ammunition used in the assassination of Turning Point USA (TPUSA) founder Charlie Kirk to slogans supporting Antifa and transgender ideology, scrawled directly onto the shell casings. Around the same time, Antifa-aligned demonstrators in Portland, Oregon, besieged a local ICE facility, prompting federal intervention.

In response to escalating incidents, President Trump officially designated Antifa as a “major domestic terrorist organization” in mid-September. The administration cited the movement’s decentralized yet coordinated actions, arguing that antifa represents a clear threat to national security and public order. The order directs federal agencies to dismantle Antifa-affiliated operations and scrutinize individuals and networks supporting the movement.
