The worth of U.S. alcoholic beverage exports to Canada shrank from $718 million to $137 million, while the country continues to import from other places, such as the European Union (EU) and South America. The Trump administration says that the tariffs will be imposed via Section 338 of the 1930 Trade Act. According to the Office of the United States Trade Representative, the section “empowers the President to, among other things, impose duties of up to 50 percent on imports of a foreign country to offset the burden or disadvantage from a foreign country’s unequal imposition on or discrimination against the commerce of the United States.” Only two out of Canada’s 10 provinces did not boycott U.S. alcoholic beverage exports: Alberta and Saskatchewan, neighboring provinces in Canada’s western prairie. The provinces border Montana and North Dakota.

Suspected Anti-ICE Bomb Thrower Was Armed With Machete, Axes, Knives: Feds.

A suspected anti-ICE terrorist has been taken into custody after allegedly carrying out an attack on a federal facility in Lower Manhattan, New York City.

📺 DETAIL: On Monday morning, a man started a fire by throwing a “makeshift incendiary device” made from fireworks and flammable liquid outside 26 Federal Plaza in Lower Manhattan, New York City. No deaths were reported, although several people reportedly sustained minor injuries. The 43-year-old Arrabaca was taken into custody as a suspect later that day. Authorities claimed that he was armed with two axes, three knives, a hammer, a machete, and six incendiary devices, as well as a lighter and a liquid suspected to be gasoline, two pellet guns, and had a manifesto. Officers quickly recovered the suspect’s bag, which contained what appeared to be two pellet guns and a manifesto,” said the Department of Homeland Security in a public statement following the attack.

He may also have been known to the authorities,” wrote Farage on Saturday. Counter Terrorism Policing took over the investigation into Widdecombe’s killing just days after Kerry was arrested, after local police previously claimed they had no evidence to suggest a political terror motive. “Police enquiries into the defendant’s motives are ongoing, including a potential political or terrorist connection,” said Frank Ferguson, Chief Crown Prosecutor of the Crown Prosecution Service’s Special Crime and Counter Terrorism Division.
