President Donald Trump is expected to take the economic fight to Joe Biden in a speech in Charleston, South Carolina, this evening. The 45th President is expected to firmly rebuke the “Bidenomics” agenda, contrasting it to his “MAGANOMICS” of 2016-19 and pitting the two modern political-economy theories against one another.
“Let’s compare the smoldering wreckage of Bidenomics with the incredible success we had three years ago under President Trump and MAGANOMICS,” the former President is expected to say.
“Inflation was higher than expected AGAIN in January. Sixty percent of Americans are now struggling to pay for groceries. And as Crooked Joe himself foolishly pointed out on Sunday, it’s not just that prices are getting higher; it’s that packages are getting smaller. Under my leadership, you had virtually no inflation, and there was no such thing as Joe Biden’s “shrinkflation.”
Labeling the current situation as an “affordability crisis,” this “MAGANOMICS” address marks a tone shift for the campaign, with the Biden regime having previously attempted to use the term with a negative connotation. Recent polling has repeatedly suggested that Americans now trust Trump far more on the economy than Biden, leading the White House and the Biden campaign to abandon that talking point.
