Georgia Elections Board Moves to Enhance Vote Integrity with New Rule.

In a three-to-one decision, the Georgia State Election Board has amended state election rules to ensure the number of ballots cast is the number of ballots counted for each day of voting. According to the rule change, the poll manager and two witnesses—sworn in as poll officers—will remove the ballots from the scanner box and present the votes to three independent poll officers for a hand count.

Each poll officer will proceed to count through the ballots cast. Once each of the three officers concludes their count, they must sign a control document denoting their tally. If the numbers of each count do not match with each other and align with the voting machine count, then the poll manager is directed to immediately identify the source of the inconsistency and correct it if possible.

Consistent ballot counts and custody have been an ongoing concern in U.S. elections, especially in Georgia. The National Pulse reported in May that a bombshell investigation by the Georgia Secretary of State’s office found that Fulton County had implemented improper procedures during its 2020 presidential election recount. Even more concerning, Fulton County election officials could not account for thousands of ballot images from their initial scanning. Additionally, duplicate images of some ballot scans were discovered, implying that votes may have been counted multiple times.

The Georgia State Election Board responded by issuing a letter of reprimand to the county and assigning a monitor to supervise the upcoming 2024 presidential election. Fulton County’s representative, Jessica Corbitt, claims that no proof of fraud has been found, and that the county is focusing on upgrading its election procedures and infrastructure.

NYC Hotels Take Over $1 Billion from Taxpayers for Hosting Illegals.

New York City hotel bosses have raked in over a billion dollars converting their premises into migrant shelters so far. Mayor Eric Adams‘s city government expends an average of $156 per room per night on accommodation for illegal aliens, with some rooms costing more than $300 per night. Since the onset of the crisis, the city’s total spending on the migrant influx has reached approximately $4.88 billion, with $1.98 billion expended on housing illegals.

Internal documents indicate that about 80 percent of these shelters are motels or inns. However, the city has also made contracts with larger hotels, including a $5.13 million-per-month deal with the Row NYC hotel in Midtown Manhattan and a $2 million-per-month agreement with the Crowne Plaza JFK in South Jamaica, Queens.

Some shelter deals benefit foreign states, with the Roosevelt Hotel in Manhattan, now a processing center and temporary shelter for illegals, belonging to the Pakistani government.

In September, officials extended a contract with the Hotel Association of New York City (HANYC) for three years for $1.3 billion. Another deal, valued at $76.69 million, was signed in January to provide shelter across 15 hotels in Brooklyn, Queens, and the Bronx through July.

Several hotels used to house migrants are luxury accommodations, such as the Hotel Le Jolie in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn and the Square Hotel on Broadway.

Local business owners are expressing concerns about the negative impact of these shelters, which often host criminals and repel the public, on their own businesses. Some fear they will have to close due to lost revenue.

Other Democrat-run states have been dealing with similar issues. In Massachusetts, whistleblowers describe how migrants are not only getting free hotel rooms but also free tablets, toys, healthcare, and more.

Dems Launch Lawfare Effort Targeting Clarence Thomas Over Recent SCOTUS Rulings.

Two Senate Democrats are asking Joe Biden‘s Attorney General Merrick Garland to authorize a special counsel investigation targeting Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas. The move by Senators Ron Wyden (D-OR) and Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI) is a shocking escalation in Democrat efforts to force Justice Thomas and Justice Samuel Alito from the high court’s bench—and seen by some as political retribution for the court’s recent rulings.

The two far-left Democrats announced late Tuesday that they sent the letter requesting a special counsel to Biden‘s Attorney General last week. In a statement, Wyden and Whitehouse made vague and unsubstantiated accusations against Justice Thomas—alleging amorphous ethics violations and tax crimes.

“The evidence assembled thus far plainly suggests that Justice Thomas has committed numerous willful violations of federal ethics and false-statement laws and raises significant questions about whether he and his wealthy benefactors have complied with their federal tax obligations,” the two Democrat Senators claimed, noting—for dramatic effect—that, “We do not make this request lightly.”

If Garland approves the special counsel investigation it would mark the latest Biden government lawfare campaign targeting a high-profile conservative.

An internal review of the gifts and other benefits Supreme Court justices have received found no evidence of wrongdoing by any of the high court’s members. Despite the lack of ethics violations, the Supreme Court—under the director of Chief Justice John Roberts—released an updated ethics code late last year.

The National Pulse reported in June that the Supreme Court’s newest member, Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson, earned nearly $1 million from her memoir last year. This disclosure has received almost no scrutiny from Democrats, despite the revelation that Justice Sonia Sotomayor bullied public institutions to purchase copies of her book in the past.

Yet Another State Is Sending Voter Registration Forms to Noncitizens.

Noncitizens living in California are receiving voter registration forms after renewing their driver’s licenses. In at least one instance, a noncitizen who checked the box on the Department of Motor Vehicle (DMV) paperwork denoting that they are not a U.S. citizen still received a voter registration form in the mail.

At least 19 states and the District of Columbia allow noncitizens to obtain driver’s licenses through their state’s DMV. Meanwhile, the National Voter Registration Act requires state DMVs to provide an option for those obtaining or renewing a driver’s license to register to vote on the same form. If a noncitizen claims to have U.S. citizenship—by simply checking a box—they will likely be added to voter rolls unless those rolls are examined with extra scrutiny.

Like the other 18 states and Washington, D.C., California lacks additional laws requiring more stringent proof of citizenship for voter registration. This makes the likelihood of noncitizens illegally voting in state and federal elections a genuine concern.

While the U.S. government’s mandated transition to REAL ID should prevent noncitizens from being able to register to vote through their driver’s license application—as they cannot obtain a REAL ID under federal law—some states are already carving out loopholes. In May, The National Pulse reported that Illinois lawmakers are considering legislation that would still allow noncitizens to obtain a standard state-issued driver’s license—with applicants being automatically registered to vote unless they initially decline the option.

The National Pulse has previously reported that at least 37 noncitizens in North Carolina faced federal prosecution for illegally voting in U.S. elections. Additionally, an analysis of those cases suggests noncitizens are three times as likely to vote for Democrat candidates.

WATCH: Woke Activists Complain Harsher Punishment of Pedophiles Will Impact ‘Marginalized’ LGBTQ and Ethnic Minority Predators.

California legislation making it a felony to solicit sex acts from minors is facing opposition from leftist activists. They argue the stronger penalties for such solicitation in Senate Bill 1414, put forward by State Senator Shannon Grove, would imprison too many pedophiles from LGBTQ and ethnic minority backgrounds.

“We are particularly concerned that the harsher penalties proposed in this bill will disproportionately impact marginalized communities, especially members of the LGBTQ community who already suffer from systematic biases within the criminal justice system, particularly when it comes to sexually-based offenses,” complained Kellie Walters, representing the Legal Services for Prisoners with Children organization, at a California State Assembly Public Safety Committee hearing.

“LGBTQ people, particularly gay and transgendered individuals, are more likely to be charged with sex offenses… For instance, LGBTQ people are nine times more likely to be charged with sodomy,” Walters said.

ETHNIC MINORITIES.

Isabella Borgeson, representing the Ella Baker Center for Human Rights organization, also complains that “harsher penalties” for pedophiles would “disproportionately impact marginalized communities.” She stressed “black and brown individuals” rather than homosexuals and transgenders.

Borgeson, wearing a mask, argued that “punitive measures” for pedophiles would “perpetuate cycles of incarceration,” recommending investment in “community-based solutions” instead.

In the past year, several high-profile LGBT activists have been linked to child abuse, including Canadian LGBTQ organization chief Sean Gravells. He was arrested on child sex abuse and pornography charges in British Columbia.

Last month, the head of the Maryland Democrat LGBT caucus, Michael Knaapen, was caught sending nude photographs and discussing rape fantasies with a person he believed to be a minor.

Lawfare: French Prosecutors Announce Investigation of Le Pen.

Prosecutors confirmed on Tuesday that they have initiated a preliminary investigation into supposedly illicit financing of National Rally leader Marine Le Pen’s 2022 presidential election. Le Pen’s populist party won the European elections in France, and the greatest share of the popular vote in the subsequent snap national elections called by President Emmanuel Macron.

Reports indicate that other candidates in the 2022 presidential election are also under investigation but, unlike Le Pen, they have not been named. The judicial probe focuses on allegations of misappropriation of funds, fraud, and forgery.

Last year, French prosecutors threatened Le Pen with a possible one million euro fine and up to ten years in prison over allegations of misusing European Union (EU) funds. Previously, prosecutors pursued her for disseminating violent messages, after she posted images of Islamic State atrocities. This ended in an acquittal—with the courts recognizing she was clearly criticizing rather than glorifying the jihadist group.

The lawfare campaign against Le Pen is similar to the one against former President Donald J. Trump in the United States. Joe Biden’s Justice Department and state-level Democrat prosecutors have launched multiple cases against Trump, but after numerous adverse rulings for prosecutors, it is likely that only one dubious conviction in Manhattan will be in place at the time of the November election.

ABC News’s Stephanopoulos: ‘I Don’t Think Biden Can Serve Four More Years.’

ABC News host and former Clinton family political operative George Stephanopoulos offered a brutally honest answer when asked if he thought Joe Biden should step down. In an almost knee-jerk reaction, the Democrat operative turned newsman said he didn’t think Biden could make it four more years.

“Do you think Biden should step down? You’ve talked to him more than anybody else has lately,” he was asked in New York City by a man surreptitiously filming the encounter on his cell phone. The ABC News host responded: “I don’t think he can serve four more years.”

On Tuesday night, Stephanopoulos and ABC News admitted that it was, in fact, him in the video. Through a spokesman, the news host said: “Earlier today, I responded to a question from a passerby. I shouldn’t have.” Additionally, ABC News stressed that Stephanopoulos’s words were his own and not representative of the network.

Last Friday, Stephanopoulos was the first corporate media figure to interview the 81-year-old Joe Biden after his disastrous June 27 presidential debate performance. The 20-minute, pre-recorded interview offered little reassurance to Democrats worried about Biden’s readily apparent cognitive decline.

In a moment that undercut one of Biden’s key campaign issues—that Trump is an existential threat to democracy—the octogenarian Democrat was asked by Stephanopoulos how he’ll feel if he stays in the race and Trump wins. “I’ll feel, as long as I gave it my all, and I did as good a job as I know I can do, that’s what this is about,” Biden responded.

Dem Lawmakers Left In ‘Actual Tears’ as Anti-Biden Revolt Fizzles: ‘Sucks For Our Country.’

Democrat lawmakers on Capitol Hill are falling in line with their party’s 81-year-old presidential nominee, incumbent Joe Biden, despite continued concerns over his cognitive decline and ability to execute the duties of office. Following a high-stakes House Democrat caucus meeting early Tuesday, one of the lawmakers pushing for Biden to exit the race remarked: “Most of our caucus is still with him … meaning he’ll stay in. Which sucks for our country.”

Prior to the full House Democrats meeting, some lawmakers opposing Biden‘s nomination—and representing vulnerable districts—met to evaluate whether they had a path forward. “There were actual tears from people, and not for Biden,” one lawmaker said regarding the meeting. Despite the headwinds shifting against them, a small group of House Democrats appears resolute in their insistence that Biden should step aside.

After calls for Biden to exit the 2024 presidential race among leading Democrats began to build over the Fourth of July holiday weekend, Biden on Monday issued a letter to members of his party insisting he will not leave the race. “We had a Democratic nomination process, and the voters have spoken clearly and decisively,” The National Pulse reported a defiant Biden stating. He added: “I have nearly 3,900 delegates, making me the presumptive nominee of our party by a wide margin.”

Following the letter to skittish Democrats on Capitol Hill, one of the most prominent House lawmakers backed down from calls that the octogenarian should abandon his re-election campaign. “Whether or not I have concerns is besides the point. He is going to be our nominee, and we all have to support him,” Representative Jerry Nadler (D-NY) said following the Tuesday morning meeting.

Another of the Democrat plotters looking to replace Biden said: “They’ve outflanked us.”

Teen Shot Trying to Carjack Justice Sotomayor’s Federal Bodyguards.

U.S. Marshals shot an 18-year-old on Friday after he allegedly attempted to carjack federal bodyguards stationed outside Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor‘s home in Northwest Washington, D.C.

The incident occurred at around 1:15 AM when Kentrell Flowers approached a Deputy U.S. Marshal sitting in his car outside Sotomayor’s condominium.

Flowers reportedly pointed a handgun at the marshal in an effort to steal the vehicle. The marshal fired multiple shots at Flowers, and another marshal in a different vehicle also opened fire.

Flowers sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital. He has since been arrested and charged with armed carjacking, carrying a pistol without a license, and possession of a large-capacity ammunition feeding device. No law enforcement officers were harmed.

The U.S. Marshals Service confirms that the officers involved in the carjacking were part of Sotomayor’s protective detail.

The shooting underscores ongoing concerns about security and safety protocols around federal officials and their residences in Washington, D.C. It comes after a man was arrested outside Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s home in 2022. The suspect was an abortion supporter plotting to kill the Donald Trump-appointed justice.

In November 2023, another incident saw Secret Service agents protecting Joe Biden’s granddaughter Naomi open fire on assailants attempting to break into an unmarked SUV. A month prior, Democrat Congressman Enrique ‘Henry’ Cuellar was carjacked outside an apartment block where dozens of lawmakers reside.

Earlier this year, former Trump official Mike Gill was killed in a D.C. carjacking spree.

DOCUMENTS: Trump Prosecutor Listed DNC’s Perez, Biden Chief Zients as References in Job App to Letitia James.

Matthew Colangelo—one of the prosecutors in Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg‘s lawfare case against former President Donald J. Trump—listed former Democratic National Committee (DNC) chair Tom Perez and Joe Biden‘s chief-of-staff Jeff Zients as references on his application for a position with New York Attorney General Letitia James. The Manhattan prosecutor and former top attorney at Joe Biden’s Department of Justice (DOJ) would eventually serve as Chief Counsel for Federal Initiatives in James’s office, overseeing the New York AG’s investigations into former President Trump.

The revelation that Colangelo listed two powerful Democrat figures as references in his application for Executive Deputy Attorney General in the New York AG’s office adds further credence to concerns that he served as the point man for the Democratic lawfare campaign against Trump. Colangelo featured prominently in the Bragg trial, even delivering opening arguments for the prosecution.

Additionally, Colangelo‘s departure from the DOJ on November 18, 2022, raises red flags, as he occupied one of the top roles in the department as Acting Associate Attorney General—which he gave up to take a lesser role and pay cut with Alvin Bragg.

While Bragg had hesitated to pursue falsifying business records charges against Trump over alleged hush money payments, after Colangelo joined his office, Bragg reversed course and began an aggressive investigation.

The National Pulse has reported that Colangelo and DA Alvin Bragg agreed to testify before the House Judiciary Committee later this year. Initially slated for July 12, the hearing was delayed after Judge Juan Merchan agreed to push back Trump’s sentencing to September 18. The House Judiciary hearing will now occur at some date thereafter.
