Even CNN Admits Jack Smith’s Latest Lawfare is Just Straight Up Election Interference.

The Biden-Harris Department of Justice’s (DOJ) special counsel, Jack Smith, is giving up on trying to jail President Donald J. Trump, retooling his prosecution to interfere in November’s election instead, according to one of CNN’s top legal commentators.

According to analyst Elie Honig, Smith’s 165-page legal brief against Trump’s presidential immunity claim filed in federal court earlier this week is an “unprincipled, norm-breaking” attempt to “chip away at Trump’s electoral prospects.”

“At this point, there’s simply no defending Smith’s conduct on any sort of principled or institutional basis,” Honig writes in a scathing essay for New York Magazine. The former assistant U.S. Attorney and corporate news legal commentator slams Smith’s highly politicized filing, writing: “‘But we need to know this stuff before we vote!’ is a nice bumper sticker, but it’s neither a response to nor an excuse for Smith’s unprincipled, norm-breaking practice.”

Honig notes that Smith, who has largely led the Biden-Harris government lawfare campaign against Trump, twisted U.S. legal norms to ensure his presidential immunity brief—full of salacious and partisan accusations—would be made public prior to the presidential election. The CNN legal analyst contends that the DOJ special counsel has turned criminal procedure on its head by preemptively filing the brief—with the permission of far-left U.S. District Court Judge Tanya Chutkan—before Trump’s legal team made any motions on the immunity matter. Chutkan cleared the Smith legal brief despite acknowledging in court that it was “procedurally irregular.”

‘PREJUDICIAL LEGALLY & POLITICALLY.’

“Smith’s proactive filing is prejudicial to Trump, legally and politically. It’s ironic. Smith has complained throughout the case that Trump’s words might taint the jury pool,” Honig observes, adding: “Yet Smith now uses grand jury testimony (which ordinarily remains secret at this stage) and drafts up a tidy 165-page document that contains all manner of damaging statements about a criminal defendant, made outside of a trial setting and without being subjected to the rules of evidence or cross-examination, and files it publicly, generating national headlines.”

He concludes, insinuating that Smith has likely traded the viability of his prosecution to directly interfere in the election instead: “You know who’ll see those allegations? The voters, sure—and also members of the jury pool.”

Iran-Linked Social Media Accounts Are Pushing Leftist Ideology in the West.

Iranian-backed social media accounts have allegedly been agitating for leftist causes in the United Kingdom, including supporting Scottish separatism and anti-monarchy activism. The accounts are believed to be operated or influenced by Iran‘s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

Researchers at Clemson University in the United States identified over 80 accounts involved in discussions on X (formerly Twitter) about Scotland breaking away from the United Kingdom. Collectively, these accounts account for around four percent of the related discourse—significantly higher than the official account of the Scottish National Party (SNP), which runs Scotland’s devolved government.

The accounts in question have been posting content critical of Britain’s traditional institutions, including the monarchy. One post complained of King Charles’s 11-year-old grandson, Prince George, allegedly receiving flying lessons “as children across the UK suffer due to [a] ‘cost of living crisis.’”

The study comes after Iran sent hacked documents from the campaign of President Donald J. Trump to President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, and members of the press.

Russia and China have likewise been agitating for far-left causes, with the Department of Justice (DOJ) announcing last year that they had uncovered an eight-year-long Russian interference operation funding black Marxists.

Earlier this year, several of the black Marxists involved in the operation were convicted in a Florida court for foreign agent offenses, including sowing discord in the United States.

Zuckerberg Hires RINO Republican to Help Mend his Right Wing PR Problem.

Tech billionaire Mark Zuckerberg—chairman and CEO of Meta, the parent company of Facebook and Instagram—is taking on the services of establishment Republican money man Brian Baker to help smooth relations with GOP lawmakers and center-right think tankers in Washington, D.C. Baker is no stranger to the Facebook co-founder and billionaire, having helped Zuckerberg’s so-called “election infrastructure” efforts during the 2022 midterm elections.

Baker has a long history in Republican establishment politics in Washington, D.C., serving as the political money man for the billionaire Ricketts family out of Nebraska for over a decade. Former Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts (R) currently sits in the U.S. Senate as one of the state’s two Republican senators. The family also owns the Chicago Cubs professional baseball franchise.

Additionally, Baker—a Chicago, Illinois native—heads Ending Spending, Inc., a nonprofit group that engages in electioneering. In 2017, Ending Spending, Inc. paid Baker $3 million.

The GOP establishment money man is a fixture—alongside lobbyists for companies like Apple, Comcast, and Microsoft—at political fundraisers around the nation’s capital, with many center-right think tanks and candidates hoping to gain access to the Ricketts family wealth. His longstanding ties on Capitol Hill and history as a conduit for wealthy GOP donor money will undoubtedly make Baker an effective force of influence for Zuckerberg and Meta.

Prior to the 2016 election, Baker was a staunch opponent of Donald J. Trump. Though following the America First leader’s Republican primary victory, Baker eventually formed a SuperPAC focused on funding anti-Hillary Clinton campaign advertisements.

ZUCKBUCKS & ELECTION INTERFERENCE.

Zuckerberg’s relationship with America’s political right has deteriorated drastically since the 2020 presidential election. The Meta CEO has been accused by many on the right of using his vast wealth and companies to interfere in American elections.

He admitted that his social media platform, Facebook, was pressured by the Biden-Harris government to censor Americans who posted about the COVID-19 pandemic on his website. Additionally, the tech billionaire acknowledges that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) had warned them about potential Russian disinformation regarding Burisma and the Biden family, which directly resulted in the New York Post‘s Hunter Biden laptop story being suppressed on Facebook.

Meanwhile, the Facebook founder’s Center for Tech and Civic Life (CTCL) pours vast sums of ‘Zuckerbucks’ into what are supposed to be improved voter access initiatives, such as new absentee ballot drop boxes. However, the schemes overwhelmingly benefit Democratic-leaning areas, with election integrity groups arguing they grant leftists greater voting access than conservatives and are, therefore, unlawful.

Far LEFT Americans Convicted in Russian Influence Scheme.

Americans associated with black power socialist political organizations have been convicted in a federal court of conspiring with Russia. Omali Yeshitela, Penny Hess, and Jesse Nevel, all associated with the African People’s Socialist Party (APSP), and Augustus C. Romain Jr., associated with Black Hammer, each face upwards of five years in prison for receiving money from a Russian organization with the intent to “sow discord and spread pro-Russian propaganda.”

The four were accused of conspiring to receive cash and support from Aleksandr Ionov, who heads the Anti-Globalization Movement of Russia, and engaging in various activities within the United States on the Russian government’s behalf.

Despite the conspiracy conviction, jurors did not convict them of a more severe charge of acting as foreign government agents.

A suspicious death investigation involving Romain Jr., better known as Gazi Kodzo, resulted in a 2022 FBI raid of the socialist, pan-African, and APSP-controlled Uhuru Movement’s headquarters in St. Peterburg, Florida. During this raid, evidence of the foreign influence operation was uncovered.

RUSSIAN PROPAGANDA.

According to the Department of Justice (DOJ), the suspects worked with the FSB, Russia’s security service, sowing “discord” and spreading pro-Russian propaganda. In addition, at the request of Ionov, Yeshitela, Hess, and Nevel drafted a letter to the United Nations (UN) accusing the U.S. government of committing genocide against black Americans.

Three Russian nationals were also indicted by the DOJ last year for interfering in American elections and secretly funding and directing the mayoral campaign of Jesse Nevel in St. Petersburg, Florida, in 2019. Ionov is said to have directed the African People’s Socialist Party (APSP), the Uhuru Movement, and the Black Hammer through the three indicted Russian nationals and the four American citizens.

The convictions come after several right-wing media figures were accused of being duped by Russians into receiving money to promote alleged pro-Russian content. However, unlike the four black socialists, the right-wing media commentators were reportedly unaware the money was tied to Russia in any way.

FLASHBACK: Kassam Explains How Foreign Cash Influences U.S. Media and Politics.

While much is being made of the Biden Department of Justice’s (DOJ) indictment of two Russian nationals for allegedly enlisting a U.S. company and social media influencers to push pro-Russia propaganda on YouTube, corporate media has remained silent on far more complex and concerning foreign influence operations. The National Pulse’s Editor-in-Chief, Raheem Kassam, revealed five years ago in a video for Prager University that one of the most far-reaching foreign influence schemes has operated openly as a social media endeavor in the U.S. and continues to do so.

Owned by the Al Jazeera news network, AJ+ is funded by the Persian Gulf state of Qatar. Despite its deep foreign connections, the organization has received minimal scrutiny from the DOJ. However, multiple Members of Congress— including former Representative Lee Zeldin (R-NY)—have raised the issue over the years.

TERRORIST TIES.

“AJ+ is bankrolled by the government of Qatar,” Kassam explains, continuing: “[Qatar] is a tiny Persian Gulf state with lots of oil money, billions of dollars they’re not afraid to spend causes they believe in. Causes like the terror group Hamas, which runs the Gaza Strip.”

Kassam goes on to note that aside from Hamas, Qatar also funds the Muslim Brotherhood, al Qaeda, and Hezbollah. The Persian Gulf state promotes the interests of its terror clients through its funding of the Arab news network Al Jazeera. The network rolled out AJ+ following its failed 2013 attempt to launch a U.S. news network after purchasing a media company from former Vice President Al Gore.

FOREIGN INFLUENCE.

Under the AJ+ banner, Al Jazeera and Qatar target American youth, pushing far-left messaging in an effort to sow division and influence U.S. politics and elections. “The young and hip presenters at AJ+ depict America as racist through-and-through, past-and-present,” Kassas states, adding: “Black Lives Matter has no greater media ally than AJ+. Nor do avowed socialists, like Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.”

While Qatar has primarily operated its foreign influence scheme through AJ+, the Persian Gulf state has also used other intermediaries, including former MSNBC host Mehdi Hassan, who now works for Al Jazeera. Additionally, Qatar has reportedly made a large investment in Newsmax through a member of its royal family.

The National Pulse reported in April this year that Joe Biden‘s brother, Jim Biden, also has concerning ties to Qatar—partnering with business interests controlled by the Persian Gulf state.

Mark Zuckerberg Just Admitted His 2020 Election Interference AND Covid Cover-Ups.

Meta CEO and Chairman Mark Zuckerberg is admitting that his social media platform, Facebook, was pressured by the Biden-Harris government to censor Americans who posted about the COVID-19 pandemic on his website.

The admissions come in a letter from Zuckerberg to House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH). This appears to be the most definitive acknowledgment by the social media titan yet of the scale and depth of the Biden-Harris government and FBI‘s role in censoring American citizens and the free press.

COVID CENSORSHIP.

“In 2021, senior officials from the Biden Administration, including the White House, repeatedly pressured our teams for months to censor certain COVID-19 content, including humor and satire, and expressed a lot of frustration with our teams when we didn’t agree,” the Meta CEO and Facebook founder writes. Zuckerberg continues, acknowledging it was ultimately his company’s decision to censor users: “I believe the government pressure was wrong, and I regret that we were not more outspoken about it… we’re ready to push back if something like this happens again.”

THE LAPTOP FROM HELL.

Addressing Facebook‘s interference in the 2020 presidential race by suppressing the Hunter Biden laptop story just weeks before election day, Zuckerberg again pointed the finger at the federal government—namely the FBI.

“In a separate situation, the FBI warned us about a potential Russian disinformation operation about the Biden family and Burisma in the lead up to the 2020 election,” Zuckerberg states, while contending that the FBI briefing is what directly led to his company’s decision to percent users from seeing the New York Post story. He adds: “It’s since been made clear that the reporting was not Russian disinformation, and in retrospect, we shouldn’t have demoted the story.”

The National Pulse’s Facebook account has been virtually unusable since we were one of the first outlets to meaningfully report from the hard drive.

Zuckerberg told Chairman Jordan that Facebook has subsequently changed its policies and that news stories will no longer be demoted while being reviewed by the social media platform’s fact-checkers.

ELECTION DONATIONS.

In the final part of his letter to Chairman Jordan, Zuckerberg promises to end his donations to progressive-controlled election groups like the Center for Tech and Civic Life (CTCL), first exposed here on The National Pulse five years ago.

“Apart from content moderation, I want to address the contributions I made during the last presidential election cycle to support electoral infrastructure,” the Meta Chairman and CEO writes, adding: “I know that some people believe this work benefited one party over another. My goal is to be neutral and play a role one way or another—or even appear to be playing a role.”

Zuckerberg concludes: “So I don’t plan on making a similar contribution this cycle.”

The National Pulse has previously reported that Zuckerberg‘s contributions have helped fund an army of pro-Democratic Party election workers and poll watchers who have been instrumental in blocking Republican-backed election integrity efforts. Democratic Party corporate media allies have tried to claim Republicans “weaponized Mark Zuckerberg’s donations,” however his admission to Jordan suggests the Republican accusations are true.

Facebook Admits Wrongfully Censoring Iconic Trump Assassination Attempt Photo.

Facebook has admitted to wrongfully censoring an iconic photograph of former President Donald J. Trump moments after the July 13 attempt on his life. The image, captured by an Associated Press photographer, depicts Trump with a bloodied face and raised fist, with the American flag flying behind him. Facebook fact-checkers had been flagging the photo, claiming it was altered.

Facebook contends the censorship was supposed to target a manipulated version of the image, which falsely showed Secret Service agents smiling as they surrounded Trump. However, the original, authentic photograph was also censored.

Meta, Facebook’s parent company, acknowledged the supposed mistake following public backlash. Communications Director Dani Lever stated, “This was an error. This fact check was initially applied to a doctored photo showing the Secret Service agents smiling, and in some cases, our systems incorrectly applied that fact check to the real photo. This has been fixed and we apologize for the mistake.”

Facebook uses third-party fact-checkers and artificial intelligence (AI) software to monitor and control content on its platform. According to Meta, AI is used “to scale the work of fact-checkers by applying warning labels to duplicates of false claims and reducing their distribution.”

Meta and Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg has engaged in extensive election interference in the U.S., mostly through the funding of the Center for Tech and Civic Life (CTCL). Meanwhile, a report issued in April found that Facebook has directly interfered with and attempted to influence American elections 39 times since 2008.

In March, The National Pulse reported that an AI system deployed in Washington state erroneously flagged factually true stories as misinformation.

FLASHBACK: CIA Official Admits ‘Biden World Asked For’ Letter from 51 Intel Officials Blasting Hunter’s Hard Drive as Russian Propaganda.

The letter signed by 51 former intelligence officials just before the 2020 presidential election dismissing the contents of Hunter Biden‘s laptop as Russian disinformation was drafted at the behest of the Biden campaign, according to one of its signatories. Marc Polymeropoulos, a former Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) official, testified before three House committees last year that he was told by former deputy CIA Director Michael Morell “that someone from kind of the Biden world had asked for this.”

Polymeropoulos, who once headed the agency’s operations for Europe and Eurasia, helped Morell draft the infamous letter and served as one of its signatories. At the time, testimony from Morell suggested that then-Biden campaign advisor Antony Blinken was the individual ‘Biden world’ who made the ask.

CIA CLEARED LAPTOP LETTER.

Both Morell and Polymeropoulos’s 2023 testimony adds concerning context to new revelations detailed in a report issued by the House Committee on the Judiciary, Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government, and Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence. According to the three committees, CIA officials—likely including then-CIA Director Gina Haspel—reviewed and cleared the letter and its contents.

Additionally, Congressional investors say internal CIA emails reveal agency officials were aware that active contractors were signatories at the time—a potential violation of the Hatch Act. The statute prohibits federal employees and contractors from engaging in partisan political activities in their official capacity. In the emails, CIA officials expressed concerns over the political nature of the letter and its potential long-term impact on the agency’s reputation.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and attorneys with the Department of Justice (DOJ) have subsequently confirmed that the Hunter Biden laptop was authentic and not a product of Russian disinformation. The National Pulse reported earlier this month that none of the 51 officials who signed the 2020 letter would recant its false accusations.

Zuckerberg is Attempting to Rig the Election Again. This Time Through Instagram!?

Mark Zuckerberg’s Instagram is limiting users’ exposure to “political content” ahead of the first presidential debate between Donald Trump and Joe Biden. Instagram had already imposed a requirement to “opt-in” to seeing political content, described in the app as content “likely to mention governments, elections or social topics that affect a group of people and/or society at large,” from users they do not follow. Now, the app restores political content limits every time users exit the app, requiring them to opt back in again through an obtuse series of menus.

A spokesman for Instagram parent company Meta claims users who have previously opted in to political content being opted back out again is an “error,” and the platform is “working on getting it fixed.” However, users were still being opted out of political content each time they exit the app as of the time of writing, 9:55 AM EST.

Zuckerberg and his platforms, principally Facebook, Instagram, and failing X (formerly Twitter) rival Threads, have been accused of election interference for many years.

The Facebook founder’s Center for Tech and Civic Life (CTCL) pours vast sums of ‘Zuckerbucks’ into what are supposed to be improved voter access initiatives, such as new absentee ballot drop boxes. However, the schemes overwhelmingly benefit Democratic-leaning areas, with election integrity groups arguing they grant leftists greater voting access than conservatives and are, therefore, unlawful.

The CTCL is already intervening in this year’s election, directing election officials on how to use public money to “improve election operations.”

Facebook has also censored Americans at the Biden regime’s direction, particularly on the question of vaccine safety.

‘Election Interference’ – State Regulator Limits TV Coverage of Farage’s Party to 8%.

The Office of Communications (Ofcom), the state regulator of television and radio communications in Britain, has set Nigel Farage’s share of election coverage at just eight percent, despite the fact they are tying or ahead of the governing Conservatives (Tories) in national polls.

“We’re trailing [the Conservatives] in Scotland and in London, but in most of England, we are now clearly the challengers to Labour,” Farage said in a video statement on the situation.

“But we are having a major problem; a huge problem,” he said, noting his Reform Party’s relative lack of coverage by the state-owned BBC and Channel 4 and even independent broadcasters like GBNews.

“Why is this? Well, I’ll tell you: the regulator of broadcasters in Britain is Ofcom,” he explained. “Stuffed full of establishment types. And the rules they’ve given broadcasters are very simple… the main determinant of how much coverage each party gets is their performance in the last two elections. Well, Reform UK is brand new. We’ve never contested a national election before,” he said.

“Because of that, the coverage we’re allocated is eight percent. We are getting the same level of coverage as the Green Party despite the fact we’re polling more than three times their number.”

Farage argues that the establishment designed the rules to keep British politics and broadcasting as “a nice, cozy club,” shutting out “new challengers.”

“This is now an outrage; this now amounts to election interference,” he said. “Ofcom are a disgrace. They’re almost rigging this election in favor of the existing parties,” he added.

Reform is investigating possible legal action—but less than two weeks remain before election day on July 4.
