The bottles had a best-before date of May 2027.
📺 FLASHBACK: This is not the first time this year that the FDA has issued a recall due to cancer concerns. Back in February, the agency announced a safety review of butylated hydroxyanisole (BHA), a food additive commonly used in processed foods such as breakfast cereals, frozen meals, and bread due to potential carcinogenic effects. BHA has been in use for decades, having been approved as an additive in the early 1960s.
