WATCH: Manhattan DA Attorney REFUSES To Deny Breaking the Law While Investigating Trump.

Mark Pomerantz, an attorney formerly with the Manhattan District Attorney‘s office, refused to acknowledge whether he broke the law or violated anyone’s constitutional rights while he investigated former President Donald J. Trump over alleged hush money payments. In a never-before-seen video of Pomerantz during a Congressional deposition last summer, the former Manhattan D.A. employee pleaded the fifth to a series of probing questions from Representative Matt Gaetz (R-FL).

POMERANTZ TAKES THE FIFTH.

“And did you knowingly break any laws when investigating President Trump?” Gaetz asked Pomerantz. The attorney formerly with the Manhattan D.A‘.s office responded, “Same response,” referring to an earlier invocation of his Fifth Amendment rights. At the start of the questioning, Pomerantz invoked his “Privilege against self-incrimination.”

“Did you break any laws when you worked at the Manhattan District Attorney’s office?” Gaetz asked. Pomerantz again invoked his Fifth Amendment rights, stating: “Same response.”

Gaetz pushed further, questioning Pomerantz: “Did you violate any person’s constitutional rights when you worked on the Trump investigation?” The anti-Trump attorney answered again with: “Same response.”

“Mr. Pomerantz, did you violate any person’s constitutional rights while you worked at the Manhattan D.A.‘s office?” continued Gaetz, with Pomerantz offering a variation this time, responding: “Same answer.”

When asked if he had misused any federal funds while working for the Manhattan District Attorney‘s office or while investigating former President Trump, Pomerantz pleaded the Fifth. He again invoked his Fifth Amendment rights when Gaetz asked if he had violated any New York State Bar rules while investigating Trump.

Pomerantz, while serving under former Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance, was the legal mind behind the dubious grounds for prosecuting former President Trump on felony charges of falsifying business records to cover up hush money payments to Stormy Daniels and Karen McDougal. Vance concluded there was neither sufficient evidence nor any underlying federal crime on which the felony charges could be predicated. This prompted Pomerantz to resign from the D.A.’s office in protest.

When Alvin Bragg defeated Vance’s re-election bid in 2022, Pomerantz wrote a book on his investigation of Trump. Some legal observers allege that Pomerantz’s book was intended to essentially bully Bragg into pursuing the Trump prosecution now underway in Manhattan.

Another Poll Reveals Overwhelming Public Support for the SAVE America Act.

A new survey has revealed overwhelming bipartisan support for President Donald J. Trump’s SAVE America Act, which seeks to strengthen election security by implementing voter ID and proof of citizenship requirements.

Despite claiming that “students of all backgrounds who respect our halal environment and community values” are welcome, ILM’s social media posts explicitly advertise the halls as having been created “exclusively” for Muslims spaces. Founder Kashif Rashid does claim he hosts three Christian students in a long interview with the Islam Channel, but frames this as a form of religious outreach. It is possible that the technical ability of non-Muslim students to apply for accommodation in the “halal” halls exists to satisfy anti-discrimination legislation.

Murdoch’s Times Newspaper Stalks Federal Judge, Widow at Reform UK Donor’s House.

The Sunday Times — owned by Rupert Murdoch — sent long lens photographers to stalk a U.S. federal judge on vacation in an effort to link her to a Reform UK donor’s pardon application.

📰 DETAIL: Cottrell, who previously served time in the U.S. following a wire fraud plea, previously paid the late Mark Brnovich, Judge Brnovich’s husband and the former state attorney general for Arizona, for legitimate legal advice. Contrary to The Times‘ efforts to portray this as a surreptitious arrangement, it was conducted via a well-established New York law firm, Boies Schiller Flexner LLP, and reported by Mr. Brnovich in routine federal paperwork. Cottrell dedicated his book How to Launder Money: A Guide for Law Enforcement, Prosecutors and Policymakers, recommending stronger anti-money laundering laws, to Mr. Brnovich, a supporter of President Donald J. Trump, and maintained a personal friendship with Judge Brnovich after she was widowed in January. Significantly, she did not stay with Cottrell in Montenegro, with The Sunday Times acknowledging that she had her own hotel accommodation and merely paid the Reform donor a social visit.

Pride Parade Attacker Was a Known Member of ‘The Islamist Scene.’

A recent Islamist attack in Berlin, Germany, has raised questions about the country’s handling of known terror threats.

❓ WHAT HAPPENED: An Islamist attack on Berlin Pride in Germany has left one dead and at least 29 injured.
📺 DETAIL: On Saturday, at approximately 22:00 local time, Abdul Ballout, a 21-year-old German citizen with a Lebanese migration background, struck pedestrians with a van. Ballout was later shot and killed by police. Alexander Dobrindt, Germany’s Interior Minister, said Ballout was known to the authorities for a “high volume of criminal offenses, radicalization, and affiliation with the Islamist scene.“ Last year, Ballout tried to join the Islamic State in Syria, but was arrested in Lebanon in July of the same year. He was subsequently imprisoned for just three months. Ballout was arrested again upon his return to Germany in November 2025. “He was sentenced… under juvenile criminal law… And then, unfortunately, the court handed down a suspended sentence. I don’t want to pass judgement on that—that’s the independence of the judiciary—but I’m really at a loss for words,” said Kai Wegner, Governing Mayor of Berlin. In response to the attack, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz said:” We will have to respond with prudence, but also with determination.”
