Joe Biden Pardons Son Hunter, Despite Claiming He Wouldn’t.

President Joe Biden is granting a full and unconditional pardon to his son, Hunter Biden, for any crime committed between 2014 and 2024. The outgoing 82-year-old Democratic incumbent and his White House have repeatedly insisted Hunter would not be pardoned since the U.S. Department of Justice indicted him last year on tax fraud and gun charges.

Earlier this year, Hunter Biden was found guilty on both the gun and tax charges.

“Today, I signed a pardon for my son Hunter. From the day I took office, I said I would not interfere with the Justice Department’s decision-making, and I kept my word even as I have watched my son being selectively, and unfairly, prosecuted,” President Joe Biden said in a statement, late Sunday evening. He continued: Without aggravating factors like use in a crime, multiple purchases, or buying a weapon as a straw purchaser, people are almost never brought to trial on felony charges solely for how they filled out a gun form. Those who were late paying their taxes because of serious addictions, but paid them back subsequently with interest and penalties, are typically given non-criminal resolutions. It is clear that Hunter was treated differently.”

The 82-year-old Democrat concluded: “I hope Americans will understand why a father and a President would come to this decision.”

Concerning, the language of President Biden’s pardon of his son appears to suggest there may be other acts of criminality that have not yet come to light. The pardon is “full and unconditional” and explicitly states: “For those offenses against the United States which he has committed or may have committed or taken part in during the period from January 1, 2014 through December 1, 2024, including but not limited to all offenses charged or prosecuted (including any that have resulted in convictions) by Special Counsel David C. Weiss…”

Comey Hit With Arrest Warrant, Full Indictment Revealed.

Former FBI Director James Comey faces an arrest warrant, not merely a court summons, following an indictment for allegedly threatening President Donald J. Trump in a social media post.

PULSE POINTS
❓ WHAT HAPPENED: An indictment against former Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Director James Comey has been published, and it is confirmed that he is facing a court-issued arrest warrant, not merely a court summons.
📰 DETAIL: The indictment, filed in the Eastern District of North Carolina, accuses Comey of posting a photo on Instagram of seashells arranged to form the numbers “8647” as a threat to Trump. To ‘86’ someone in hospitality and organized crime slang is to remove or kill them, while ‘47’ is understood as referring to Donald J. Trump as the 47th U.S. President. While Comey deleted the photo shortly after uploading it last May, claiming he did not realize that “some folks associate those numbers with violence,” Trump did not accept this explanation, responding, “If you’re the FBI Director, and you don’t know what that meant… That meant ‘assassination,’ and it says it loud and clear.”
🎯 IMPACT: The indictment represents a significant legal challenge for Comey, and the arrest warrant is a personal embarrassment. Notably, this comes after Trump faced a record third assassination attempt at the White House Correspondents’ Association (WHCA) dinner in Washington, D.C., on Saturday, which the White House has attributed to figures like Comey fostering a “cult of hatred” against the President.
💬 KEY QUOTE: “On or about May 15, 2025, in the Eastern District of North Carolina, the defendant, JAMES BRIEN COMEY JR, did knowingly and willfully make a threat to take the life of, and to inflict bodily harm upon, the President of the United States, in that he publicly posted a photograph on the internet social media site Instagram which depicted seashells arranged in a pattern making out ’86 47′, which a reasonable recipient who is familiar with the circumstances would interpret as a serious expression of an intent to do harm to the President of the United States.” – Grand jury indictment against James Comey
👀 FLASHBACK: Comey previously escaped charges for lying to Congress, after the case was dismissed due to the supposedly improper appointment of the interim U.S. Attorney involved.

WATCH: King Charles III Salutes Four Centuries of Shared History, Condemns Violence Against Trump in Address to Congress.

King Charles III highlighted the strong ties between the United Kingdom and the United States while condemning a recent assassination attempt against President Donald J. Trump in an address to a joint session of Congress on Tuesday.

PULSE POINTS
❓ WHAT HAPPENED: King Charles III addressed the U.S. Congress to mark the 250th anniversary of the United States’ founding and to emphasize the historical ties between the United States and the United Kingdom on Tuesday. He also condemned an assassination attempt against President Donald J. Trump on Saturday, saying, “We meet… in the aftermath of the incident not far from this great building that sought to harm the leadership of your nation… Let me say with unshakeable resolve that such acts of violence will never succeed.”
💬 KEY QUOTE: “Standing here today, it is hard not to feel the weight of history on my shoulder, because the modern relationship between our two nations and our own peoples spans not merely 250 years but over four centuries.” – King Charles III
🎯 IMPACT: The King’s address reinforced the strong historical and cultural heritage the two nations share. The British monarch echoed sentiments expressed by President Trump during welcoming remarks earlier in the day and on a prior visit to Britain, saying, “As President Trump himself observed during his state visit to Britain last autumn, the bond of kinship and identity between America and the United Kingdom is priceless and eternal; it is irreplicable and unbreakable.”
📰 DETAIL: King Charles III also touched on the importance of the Christian faith as a guiding principle, saying, “The Christian faith is a firm anchor and daily inspiration that guides us, not only personally, but together as members of our community,” and adding, “I am mindful that we are still in the season of Easter, the season that most strengthens my hope.” He concluded his remarks by telling his hosts, “And so to the United States, on your 250th birthday, let our two countries rededicate ourselves to each other, in the selfless service of our peoples and of all the peoples of the world. God bless the United States, and God bless the United Kingdom.”

Comey Indicted Again Over ‘8647’ Threat to Trump.

Former FBI Director James Comey faces a second indictment, this time over a social media post appearing to threaten President Donald J. Trump.

PULSE POINTS
❓ WHAT HAPPENED: Former Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Director James Comey has been indicted for a second time, this time over a social media post featuring seashells arranged to form the message ‘8647.’ To ‘86’ someone is to remove or kill them in the slang of the hospitality industry and organized crime, while ‘47’ almost certainly refers to Donald J. Trump as the 47th U.S. President.
📰 DETAIL: Comey, who posted the ‘8647’ message last May, has claimed the post was innocuous, intimating that he simply found the seashells arranged like that on the beach and that he “didn’t realize some folks associate those numbers with violence,” despite assuming they had a “political” meaning. Trump rejected this explanation at the time, saying, “If you’re the FBI Director, and you don’t know what that meant… That meant ‘assassination,’ and it says it loud and clear,”
🎯 IMPACT: This indictment represents a renewed effort by the Trump administration to prosecute Comey, who previously escaped charges related to false statements and obstruction of a congressional proceeding. Notably, the indictment follows a third assassination attempt against Trump at the White House Correspondents’ Association (WHCA) dinner in Washington, D.C., on Saturday,
💬 KEY QUOTE:He knew exactly what that meant; a child knows what that meant.” – Trump on Comey’s ‘8647’ post.

WATCH: Rep Andy Ogles and Raheem Kassam Warn Against Mass Migration.

Congressman Andy Ogles (R-TN) and Raheem Kassam, Editor-in-Chief of The National Pulse, discussed Britain’s mass migration challenges on Tuesday.

PULSE POINTS
❓ WHAT HAPPENED: U.S. Congressman Andy Ogles (R-TN) interviewed Raheem Kassam, Editor-in-Chief of The National Plus, about the cultural and demographic changes in the United Kingdom caused by mass migration, ahead of King Charles III’s address to the U.S. Congress on Tuesday.
📰 DETAIL: Kassam, author of No Go Zones and Enoch Was Right, discussed the establishment of parallel societies in Britain, in the context of his own upbringing as a son of immigrants who were keen to integrate. He recalled witnessing the growth of Islamic radicalism among peers at university, losing friends in radical Islamic terror attacks, and how Enoch Powell, the late 20th-century parliamentarian who is the subject of Enoch Was Right, “warned that if we keep allowing mass migration to happen… then we will have a scenario on our hands where communities are constantly clashing.” He added, “You see that now in major cities. It’s not in pockets of London, it’s in widespread areas… all across the country, this is happening.”
💬 KEY QUOTE: “I’ve got to tell you, I think we’re on the precipice. Nigel Farage and the Reform Party taking over at the next election, they already have plans for mass deportations, they already have plans for a British version of ICE, and actually setting the country back on the right track.” – Raheem Kassam

DATA: Midterms Deadlocked Between Dems and GOP.

An April 23-26 Harvard/Harris poll shows a 50-50 split among voters for the Republicans and the Democrats ahead of the 2026 midterm elections.

PULSE POINTS
❓ WHAT HAPPENED: The latest Harvard Harris poll indicates a 50-50 dead heat among voters for the upcoming 2026 Congressional midterm elections, with both Democrats and Republicans solidifying their bases.
📰 DETAIL: The poll of 2,745 registered voters, weighted for age within gender, region, race/ethnicity, marital status, household size, income, employment, education, political party, and political ideology, reveals that 71 percent of voters plan to participate in the midterms. While the results are a dead heat overall, 52 percent of independents are currently leaning towards Democrats. Additionally, 67 percent of voters are already considering the 2028 presidential election, with Kamala Harris and J.D. Vance emerging as favored candidates within their parties.
🎯 IMPACT: The deadlock in voter preference underscores the competitive nature of the upcoming midterms and highlights the potential influence of independent voters. The poll also suggests that geopolitical tensions and domestic issues like cost of living and military actions could sway voter sentiment.
📈 DATA: The survey has a margin of error of +/- 1.87 points. Notably, it shows strong support for Trump’s policies on crime and immigration, despite mixed reviews on his overall performance, particularly with respect to the economy. On Iran, the President has majority support, with most respondents saying airstrikes against the Islamic Republic were justified.

Zelensky Pushes Legislation to Extend Martial Law in Ukraine.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has submitted legislation to extend martial law, raising concerns over the continued suspension of elections, bans on opposition parties, and media restrictions in Ukraine.

PULSE POINTS
WHAT HAPPENED: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has submitted legislation to extend martial law and general mobilization, which will suspend elections, maintain bans on opposition parties, and restrict media outlets. If approved, this will mark the 19th extension of martial law since its initial implementation on February 24, 2022, the day Russia‘s full-scale invasion of Ukraine began.
📺 DETAILS: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has submitted legislation to extend martial law and general mobilization, which will suspend elections, maintain bans on opposition parties, and restrict media outlets. If approved, this will mark the 19th extension of martial law since its initial implementation on February 24, 2022, the day Russia‘s full-scale invasion of Ukraine began.
💬 KEY QUOTE: “If our partners want elections, let them send money. I will not take money from the war to hold elections.” – Volodymyr Zelensky.
🎯 IMPACT: The extension of martial law further postpones elections in Ukraine, including presidential and legislative elections that were supposed to take place in 2024 and 2023. It also empowers Zelensky’s government to suppress opposition parties and media outlets. Some, including the Trump administration and Vice President J.D. Vance, have called for Ukraine to hold new elections. Russia claims Zelensky is an illegitimate leader of Ukraine due to the lack of elections, complicating peace negotiations between the two countries.

Fauci Advisor Indicted by DOJ.

The Department of Justice (DOJ) has indicted one of Dr. Anthony Fauci’s top advisors for falsifying and destroying records related to the origin of COVID-19.

PULSE POINTS
❓ WHAT HAPPENED: A former senior advisor to Dr. Anthony Fauci, David Morens, has been indicted by the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) on charges including conspiracy against the United States, destruction and falsification of federal records, and obstruction related to investigations into the origins of COVID-19, according to an indictment unsealed in Maryland federal court.
📺 DETAIL: Morens, who worked at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) from 2006 to 2022, is accused of using a private email account to conduct official business and attempting to evade Freedom of Information Act requests by deleting or concealing records. Prosecutors allege he and two unnamed co-conspirators deliberately hid and destroyed documents to avoid public disclosure and suppress information tied to the pandemic’s origins. Communications cited in the case reportedly show Morens discussing ways to make emails “disappear” and avoid scrutiny. The indictment also highlights his involvement in overseeing a controversial NIH grant to EcoHealth Alliance, which funded coronavirus research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology. Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche described the alleged actions as a “profound abuse of trust” during a critical period of the pandemic, emphasizing the importance of transparency and accountability in government.
💬 KEY QUOTE: “As alleged in the indictment, Dr. Morens and his co-conspirators deliberately concealed information and falsified records in an effort to suppress alternative theories regarding the origins of COVID-19. Government officials have a solemn duty to provide honest, well-grounded facts and advice in service of the public interest — not to advance their own personal or ideological agendas.” – Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche.
🎯 IMPACT: The indictment calls into question the official narrative of the origin of the COVID-19 virus, which Dr. Fauci insisted had nothing to do with gain-of-function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, partially funded by grants from NIH, which Fauci led at the time. The indictment could potentially lead to more prosecutions.

WATCH: Trump Hails Anglo‑American Heritage While Honoring King Charles III at White House.

President Donald J. Trump honored King Charles III following his arrival at the White House on Tuesday, highlighting the historical ties between the United States and the United Kingdom.

PULSE POINTS
❓ WHAT HAPPENED: President Donald J. Trump welcomed King Charles III and Queen Camilla to the White House, delivering a speech that celebrated the shared history and enduring friendship between the United States and the United Kingdom, while recalling his family ties to Scotland.
💬 KEY QUOTE:Before Americans had a nation or a constitution, we first had a culture, a character, and a creed. Before we ever proclaimed our independence, Americans carried within us the rarest of gifts—moral courage—and it came from a small but mighty kingdom from across the sea. For nearly two centuries before the revolution, this land was settled and forged by men and women who bore in their souls the blood and noble spirit of the British. Here on a wild and untamed continent, they set loose the ancient English love of liberty and Britain’s distinctive sense of glory, destiny, and pride… The American patriots who pledged their lives to independence in 1776 were the heirs to this majestic inheritance… their veins ran with Anglo-Saxon courage.” – President Trump
💬 SECONDARY QUOTE: “In recent years, we’ve often heard it said that America is merely an idea, but the cause of freedom did not simply appear as an intellectual invention of 1776. The American founding was the culmination of hundreds of years of thought, struggle, sweat, blood, and sacrifice on both sides of the Atlantic. Fate drew a long arc from the meadow at Runnymede to the streets of Philadelphia that ran through the lives of people born and bred on the British code that no man should be denied either justice or right. American patriots today can sing ‘My country tis of thee, sweet land of liberty,’ only because our colonial ancestors first sang ‘God Save the King.’” – President Trump
🎯 IMPACT: The event underscores the historical and cultural ties between the two nations, as the U.S. marks its 250th anniversary of independence. Following a private meeting with President Trump, the King will address a joint session of the U.S. Congress.

Multiple Men Allegedly Drugged and Raped at Epstein Ranch.

State authorities are investigating new claims of abuse at Jeffrey Epstein’s Zorro Ranch in Santa Fe County, New Mexico.

PULSE POINTS
❓ WHAT HAPPENED: Authorities are investigating new claims of abuse involving Jeffrey Epstein’s Zorro Ranch in New Mexico. The allegations include the drugging and rape of young men and women.
📺 DETAIL: New allegations of abuse have surfaced in relation to Jeffrey Epstein’s 7,500-acre Zorro Ranch in Santa Fe County, New Mexico. In a documentary released on Sunday, alleged victims provided their testimonies of being drugged and raped at the ranch. In February, authorities reopened a probe into Epstein’s activities at the secretive property after millions of files related to the deceased pedophile were released by the Department of Justice (DOJ). Since then, state authorities have been working to identify additional victims, possible co-conspirators, and even the alleged burial of two girls near the site by a former ranch staffer. It has also been alleged that “multiple young men” were among the victims of Epstein and his co-conspirators.
💬 KEY QUOTE: “Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell were serial abusers, they really were super predators, and it was just how they lived their lives.” – Rep. Melanie Stansbury (D-NM).
🎯 IMPACT: At present, the authorities are reportedly working with the Truth Commission, New Mexico’s bipartisan panel investigating the crimes of Jeffrey Epstein at Zorro Ranch. Only one of the residents alleging abuse was from the state, which raises questions about the role and extent of human trafficking in the Jeffrey Epstein case. Furthermore, the report is notable in that young men feature prominently among the alleged victims at the ranch, where previously the vast majority of victims have been women and girls.

UAE Breaks With OPEC Amid Escalating Energy Crisis.

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is exiting OPEC, signaling a shift in global oil dynamics as energy prices surge amid the Iran war.

PULSE POINTS
❓ WHAT HAPPENED: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has announced it is leaving the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), the global cartel of oil-producing countries. The decision to leave the organization is seen as a move by the country towards increasing oil production.
📺 DETAIL: On Tuesday, the UAE announced its decision to leave OPEC after nearly 60 years. The country was the cartel’s third-largest oil producer after Saudi Arabia and Iraq. Prior to the UAE’s departure from OPEC, the organization comprised 12 member countries: Algeria, the Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Libya, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, Venezuela, and the UAE. The UAE’s departure follows major disruptions to energy trade caused by the Iran war, particularly the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, leading to higher oil and gas prices. The UAE has also announced its decision to leave OPEC+, an alliance between the original 12 OPEC countries and 11 non-OPEC countries: Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Brunei, Brazil, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Mexico, Oman, Russia, South Sudan, and Sudan.
🎯 IMPACT: OPEC was founded to protect the interests of its member states through joint action. The UAE’s exit from OPEC and OPEC+ could disrupt the cartel’s ability to coordinate oil production and control prices, potentially increasing supply but contributing to market volatility. This is especially true if the UAE manages to significantly increase its oil production to match growing market demand. However, with travel through the Strait of Hormuz still disrupted, it is unclear how much additional product the Emirates can realistically export.
💬 KEY QUOTE: “Following its exit, the UAE will continue to act responsibly, bringing additional production to market in a gradual and measured manner, aligned with demand and market conditions. While near-term volatility, including disruptions in the Arabian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz, continues to affect supply dynamics, underlying trends point to sustained growth in global energy demand over the medium to long term.” — WAM news agency, the UAE’s official state-run news agency.
