The globalist World Economic Forum (WEF) has come under scrutiny following allegations that its leader, Klaus Schwab, manipulated research data to undermine Brexit. Whistleblowers say that Schwab personally intervened in the organization’s Global Competitiveness Report to prevent the United Kingdom from appearing successful post-Brexit.
In 2017, Britain’s ranking in the report was altered from an improvement to a decline, allegedly at Schwab’s direction. He told staffers Britain “must not see any improvement” in its economic position as this would be “exploited by the Brexit camp”—by proving that Brexit supporters were right to argue that voting to Leave the European Union (EU) in 206 would not result in economic disaster.
An internal investigation by the WEF, prompted by a whistleblower, also looked into Schwab’s conduct, including misusing funds and improper interactions with staff. The organization hosts the Davos summit in Davos, Switzerland, every year, bringing together politicians, plutocrats, and nonprofits to push post-national, globalist ideology.
Nigel Farage, the leader of Britain’s rising Reform Party and Brexit’s leading proponent, responded to the revelations by saying, “Every conspiracy theory about Klaus Schwab now turns out to be true.”
Lord David Frost, one of the negotiators for the British government following the Brexit vote, said it was “rare we get such clear direct evidence of the global establishment’s hostility to Brexit,” adding: “Schwab’s alleged deliberate downgrading of Brexit Britain in his Global Competitiveness Report, directly contrary to the actual evidence, shows how deeply embedded distrust of national independence is, and how determined so many people are to suppress any discussion of its benefits.”
