The former Ukrainian Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin believes that he was fired as a result of President Joe Biden’s pressure on the Ukrainian government, and says that Biden and his son Hunter were accepting Ukrainian bribes in connection with Burisma – the Ukrainian holdings firm for which Hunter Biden and his former best friend Devon Archer acted as executives.
Shokin, who was fired in 2016 by then-Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, told Fox News in an interview on Saturday evening:
“I have said repeatedly in my previous interviews that Poroshenko fired me at the insistence of the then Vice President Biden because I was investigating Burisma.”
“There were no complaints whatsoever and no problems with how I was performing at my job. But because pressure was repeatedly put on [then-Ukrainian President Petro] Poroshenko, that is what ended up in him firing me,” Shokin added.
Shokin went on to explain that if he were allowed to continue his investigation into Burisma, he would have uncovered the various “corrupt activities that they [the Bidens and Devon Archer] were engaged in.”
Asked whether the Bidens were accepting bribes, Shokin responded, “I do not want to deal in unproven facts, but my firm personal conviction is that, yes, this was the case. They were being bribed.”
Shokin’s statements add further to the mountain of evidence against the Biden’s over their crooked financial affairs, the covering up of which likely swayed the 2020 presidential election.
