LISTEN: DeSantis Backers Jenna Ellis & Steve Deace Rant About Founding Fathers Being in Hell for Not Repenting Over Slavery.

Jenna Ellis, a former Trump lawyer turned hysterical anti-Trumper, referred to the 45th President as “malignant” during an unhinged rant involving establishment Republican Steve Deace, who bizarrely suggested America’s Founding Fathers have gone to hell.

Deace, who wanted Trump to lose in 2016, now supports Ron DeSantis for the 2024 GOP nomination. The Florida Governor recently tweeted that he was “proud” to have received Deace’s endorsement. In the clip below, Deace can be heard insisting:

“[W]e need to remember there are Founding Fathers who are in hell for all of eternity, who did some great work, but they didn’t bow the knee to Jesus either. They didn’t repent of owning slaves either. And they’re in hell now because of where — because of that, those decisions. And so will [Trump] be.”

Ellis, agreed with Deace, responding: “Yeah, really incredibly well said Steve, and I think that you perfectly articulated exactly how I as a voter feel.” She added: “Why I have chosen to distance is because of that, frankly, malignant narcissistic tendency to simply say that [Trump’s] never done anything wrong.”

Ellis is one of the 18 associates of the former President who have been criminally indicted by the Democratic Fulton County District Fani Willis in Georgia. In April 2022, she offered to defend the pro-LGBT, groomer-friendly Disney Corporation against DeSantis’s actions against them. She has since been spotted at Disney parks wearing apparel connoting a membership of their private ’33 Club’ which costs $60,000 to join, as well as an annual $25,000 in dues.

Ellis recently started a crowdfunder for her legal bills, raising over $200,000 so far, equivalent to almost 10 years of ’33 Club’ membership dues. Ellis has since tweeted at The National Pulse staff to admit that despite posing as a 33 Club member, she is in fact not one.

However, the slowdown in retail purchases also suggests that there is ongoing downward pressure on demand, giving strong support to the idea that inflation has subsided but has been replaced by deflation.

Retail sales in April rose by only 0.1 percent after a surge in purchases in March, where sales rose by 1.7 percent. The minor positive growth was almost entirely buoyed by restaurant and bar purchases, with retail, hobby, and miscellaneous stores all reporting negative growth of over one percent. Gasoline sales at stations fell by half a percent.

The deflation signals in the retail sales numbers are further backed by a surprising Producer Price Index (PPI) number from April. The PPI, which measures price changes before reaching consumers, dropped 0.5 percent compared to March, according to data released Thursday by the U.S. Labor Department. This represents the largest monthly decrease since 2018.

Critics of President Trump’s tariffs predicted that the PPI would rise, fueled by higher tariff costs. This, they contended, would be a form of inflation. Notably, Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell has taken a similar line, suggesting that the Federal Reserve has been hesitant to cut interest rates as they believe the Trump tariffs to be inflationary in impact—which has so far proven to be incorrect.

By not cutting interest rates at the last two Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) meetings, the Federal Reserve likely made a grave error and may need to resort to emergency measures to head off a deflationary spiral, which could portend an economic recession.

Since the start of 2025, President Trump has repeatedly called on Powell and his colleagues at the Federal Reserve to reduce rates.

“On the night of April 10-11, I was the victim of assault and violence by members of a British embassy during an international transfer, where they refused to pay me,” the driver told French media.

The Bonneville prosecutor’s office has opened an investigation into the incident, but Lammy and his wife have denied the allegations and claimed the man fraudulently removed their luggage, along with cash, saying they will sue him.

The driver says he did not know who Lammy was at the time of the incident but joked that if he had, he would have charged “much more.”

A new poll reveals that a plurality of voters in several key swing districts support President Donald J. Trump‘s tariff policies. The survey, released May 14, examined the opinions of voters in 19 key battleground districts and found that more voters trust President Trump on defending American workers than they trust the CEOs of major retailers.

A massive 78 percent of those polled by the Protecting America Initiative (PAI) say that those retailers should absorb the price of tariffs themselves, and half say retailers have engaged in price gouging. A further 75 percent say retailers used the COVID-19 pandemic as an excuse to raise their prices and saw record profits as a result.

Over 80 percent say they wish to see investigations into possible price gouging by corporations, and 78 percent say they would like to see penalties for companies that used the COVID-19 pandemic as an excuse to raise prices.

“Our data found that swing district voters are generally behind Trump in his efforts to correct decades of outsourcing through his recent tariffs and trust him far more than the retailers to stick up for American workers,” PAI stated.

A total of 48 percent say they support President Trump’s tariffs on Chinese imports, insisting that American retailers should be less dependent on the communist country and prioritise support for American manufacturing.

President Trump’s tariffs have already prompted billions of dollars in investment for American manufacturing from some of the largest companies in the world, such as Nvidia, which pledged to invest $500 billion in infrastructure and manufacturing of AI supercomputers in the U.S.

The tariffs have also contributed to a government surplus for the month of April, as the Trump administration reported over $16 billion in tariff receipts.

Michigan Congressman Shri Thanedar, a Democrat facing a tough primary battle, is forcing a House vote on articles of impeachment against President Donald J. Trump. The vote, scheduled for Thursday, is widely expected to fail, and has already drawn sharp criticism from some of Thanedar’s Democratic colleagues.

The articles of impeachment, introduced by Thanedar on April 28, accuse Trump of bribery, corruption, and other supposed infractions. Speaking on the House floor in a thick Indian accent, the foreign-born lawmaker declared, “President Donald J. Trump has been committing crimes since day one.”

The timing of the move coincides with Michigan State Rep. Donavan McKinney’s announcement of his candidacy for Thanedar’s Detroit-area seat, raising questions about Thanedar’s motivations. Despite his insistence that the action is based on principle, some Democrats are skeptical.

“He’s really just doing it for himself,” one House Democrat told Axios, while another described the move as “a waste of time.” Another unnamed lawmaker expressed frustration, calling it “the dumbest f***ing thing. Utterly selfish behavior.”

New York Democratic Rep. Jerry Nadler is said to have called Thanedar’s impeachment move “idiotic,” while another House Democrat commented simply, “What a dumbs**t.”

Rep.
