JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon: Trump ‘Wasn’t Wrong’ On Critical Issues.

JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon said during an interview at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, on Wednesday that former President Donald Trump “wasn’t wrong” about a number of critical issues.

“He was kind of right about NATO, he was kind of right about immigration, he grew the economy quite well, tax reform worked, he was right about some of China,” Dimon said in the interview with CNBC. “He wasn’t wrong about some of these critical issues, and that’s why they’re voting for him.”

A Democrat, Dimon made the comments while explaining that his Party is too quick to vilify the MAGA movement and its supporters. “I wish the Democrats would think a little bit more carefully when they talk about MAGA,” he said. “When people say MAGA, they’re actually looking at people who voted for Trump, and they’re basically scapegoating them, that you are like him,” Dimon continued. “I think this negative talk about MAGA is going to hurt Biden’s reelection campaign.”

Iran Offers Missiles to Qatar in Exchange for Expelling U.S. Troops.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: An Iranian lawmaker urged Qatar to expel U.S. forces and allow Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) to deploy missiles on its territory, following an Israeli strike on the Qatari capital of Doha.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Iranian lawmaker Mojtaba Zarei, Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the U.S. military, and Israel.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The statement was made on Thursday, following the Israeli strike in Doha earlier in the week.

💬KEY QUOTE: “I propose that the U.S. Army, accomplice of Israel, be expelled from Qatar, and that the Revolutionary Guard aerospace force deploy Fattah hypersonic missiles on your soil to defend your sovereignty,” Zarei stated.

🎯IMPACT: The proposal highlights growing tensions in the Gulf region amid expanding Israeli military operations, and Iran’s push to expand its military influence.

IN FULL

Iran is urging Qatar to expel American military forces from Al Udeid Air Base—a regional command hub for U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM)—and instead allow Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) to deploy missiles in the country. The move, ostensibly in response to Israel’s recent strike on the Qatari capital of Doha targeting leaders of the Hamas terrorist group, is unlikely to receive much serious consideration from Qatar’s government.

The Israeli strike on Tuesday killed a Qatari security officer and several Hamas members. Iran has accused the U.S. of complicity in the attack, putting Qatar in a precarious position. However, Iran also attacked Qatar earlier this year with missiles, after the United States bombed and destroyed several Iranian nuclear program facilities. Notably, the Iranian missiles were easily intercepted by U.S. air defenses in Qatar.

Mojtaba Zarei, an Iranian lawmaker, addressed Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani in a statement on X (formerly Twitter). “I propose that the U.S. Army, accomplice of Israel, be expelled from Qatar, and that the Revolutionary Guard aerospace force deploy Fattah hypersonic missiles on your soil to defend your sovereignty,” he wrote in Farsi. Zarei also suggested that the emir should request support from the Revolutionary Guard in Qatar.

Iran’s armed forces have accused the U.S. of backing Israel’s actions, with Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi stating, “The Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran will never hesitate to support our Qatari brothers.” However, U.S. President Donald J. Trump has clarified, “This was a decision made by Prime Minister Netanyahu; it was not a decision made by me,” and come out strongly against the attack.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has confirmed Israel’s sole responsibility for the operation.

Trump’s Energy Secretary Predicts Prolonged European Reliance on U.S. Energy.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: The European Union (EU) pledged to purchase $750 billion of American oil, gas, and nuclear energy over the next three years as part of a trade deal with the United States.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: U.S. Energy Secretary Chris Wright, EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, and President Donald J. Trump.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The agreement followed meetings in Brussels, Belgium, and Strasbourg, France, this week, with the trade deal initially struck at the end of July.

💬KEY QUOTE: “The huge American abundant energy resources allow us to be a key energy supplier to our allies around the world that previously have been buying oil and gas and other technologies from adversaries.” – Chris Wright

🎯IMPACT: The deal aims to reduce EU dependency on Russian fossil fuels while strengthening U.S.-EU energy ties and addressing global energy security concerns.

IN FULL

The European Union (EU) has committed to purchasing $750 billion worth of American oil, gas, and nuclear energy over the next three years, U.S. Energy Secretary Chris Wright revealed during his visit to Brussels, Belgium. This agreement is part of a broader reset in global energy relations.

“I think it’s a long-term change,” Wright stated, emphasizing the significant infrastructure investments required for energy trade, particularly liquefied natural gas (LNG). He added, “This isn’t going to be three and a half years, and it’ll all be over.”

While Wright portrayed the deal as a long-term partnership, the European Commission described it as a short-term measure to address immediate energy needs. Ursula von der Leyen, the EU Commission President, also called for the development of “clean homegrown energy” during a speech in Strasbourg, France.

Wright highlighted the mutual benefits of the deal, stating that it would help the EU phase out Russian fossil fuels. He noted that the US capacity to export LNG would double under the Trump administration. However, analysts have questioned the feasibility of the $750 billion target, though Wright argued it could be met by replacing Russian energy imports directly and indirectly.

Diplomatic sources suggest that President Donald J. Trump has pressed the EU to impose 100 percent tariffs on China and India, countries that continue to purchase Russian energy. Wright declined to comment on this but reiterated that the U.S. is positioning itself as a reliable energy supplier to allies worldwide. “The huge American abundant energy resources allow us to be a key energy supplier to our allies around the world that previously have been buying oil and gas and other technologies from adversaries,” he said.

Pentagon Enforces ‘Zero Tolerance’ Policy on Mockery of Charlie Kirk Assassination.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: The Pentagon issued a firm warning against celebrating or mocking the assassination of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell, War Department Secretary Pete Hegseth, Navy Secretary John Phelan, and Republican Rep. Derrick Van Orden (R-WI).

📍WHEN & WHERE: Statements were made on social media, following the assassination of Charlie Kirk.

💬KEY QUOTE: “It is unacceptable for military personnel and Department of War civilians to celebrate or mock the assassination of a fellow American,” said Sean Parnell.

🎯IMPACT: Military leadership has committed to addressing inappropriate behavior swiftly and decisively.

IN FULL

The Pentagon has announced a “zero tolerance” policy toward any personnel who celebrate or mock the assassination of Charlie Kirk. Sean Parnell, the Assistant Secretary of War for Public Affairs, stated late Thursday: “It is unacceptable for military personnel and Department of War civilians to celebrate or mock the assassination of a fellow American. The Department of War has zero tolerance for it.”

War Department Secretary Pete Hegseth amplified Parnell’s message, writing in a post on X (formerly Twitter), “We are tracking all these very closely—and will address immediately. Completely unacceptable.”

Secretary of the Navy John Phelan also issued a warning, declaring, “I want to be very clear: any uniformed or civilian employee of the Department of the Navy who acts in a manner that brings discredit upon the Department, the [U.S. Navy] or the [U.S. Marine Corps] will be dealt with swiftly and decisively.”

Representative Derrick Van Orden (R-WI) responded directly to Phelan, stating, “I will be explicitly clear with you… if you do not take prompt, direct, and decisive action to clear the ranks of this shit from my Navy, I will do everything in my power to kick you to the curb. If your JAG’s have a problem with this, they can find a job somewhere else. Wearing a uniform is a privilege not a right. You will unfuck this promptly.”

Leaders from other branches of the military, including Air Force Secretary Troy Meink and Army Secretary Dan Driscoll, echoed similar sentiments. Secretary Driscoll stated, “Posts that celebrate or mock the assassination of a fellow American are inconsistent with Army values. Full stop.”

The National Pulse reported on Wednesday that MSNBC terminated senior political analyst Matthew Dowd just hours after he made remarks on the assassination of Kirk, suggesting he had drawn “hateful actions” on himself.

Trump Orders National Guard Into This City:

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: President Donald J. Trump announced plans to deploy the National Guard to Memphis, Tennessee, as part of an anti-crime initiative.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: President Trump and the National Guard, with potential involvement from the Army.

📍WHEN & WHERE: Announced Friday; deployment planned for Memphis, Tennenesee.

💬KEY QUOTE: “The deployment would not be limited to the National Guard, and could include the Army if needed.” – President Trump

🎯IMPACT: Part of a broader anti-crime initiative to address public safety concerns in Memphis.

IN FULL

President Donald J. Trump announced on Friday that he would be deploying the National Guard to Memphis, Tennessee, as part of his ongoing anti-crime initiative. The President emphasized that the deployment would not be limited to the National Guard and could extend to include the Army if necessary. This marks a significant step in addressing public safety concerns in the city.

“The deployment would not be limited to the National Guard, and could include the Army if needed,” Trump stated. This move is part of a broader initiative by the Trump administration to tackle crime in urban areas.

Already, the Trump White House has seen success with the deployment of National Guard troops in Washington, D.C. These units have been able to replace the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) in more public, high-traffic areas, allowing the MPD, assisted by federal law enforcement, to focus on more direct policing in high-crime neighborhoods. This has resulted in a significant reduction of crime in the capital, especially carjackings.

BREAKING: Suspected Charlie Kirk Assassin Named After Capture.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: A suspect, identified as Tyler Robinson, is in custody over the assassination of Charlie Kirk, according to President Donald J. Trump.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: President Trump, Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, Tyler Robinson, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Utah authorities, and local police.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The announcement of an arrest was made during a Fox & Friends appearance by President Trump, following Kirk’s assassination at Utah Valley University on Wednesday.

💬KEY QUOTE: “I think with a high degree of certainty, we have him in custody, in custody. Everyone did a great job. We worked with the local police, the governor.” – Donald Trump

🎯IMPACT: Authorities have reportedly recovered the suspected weapon and are continuing their investigation. Trump plans to posthumously award Kirk the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

IN FULL

President Donald J. Trump announced during a Fox & Friends appearance that a suspect is in custody in relation to the assassination of  Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk. The suspect has now been named as Tyler Robinson, a 22-year-old from Washington County, Utah, reportedly turned in by his father.

Trump stated, “I think with a high degree of certainty, we have him in custody, in custody. Everyone did a great job. We worked with the local police, the governor.”

Video footage had been released showing the suspect dropping from a rooftop after the shooting. Authorities had asked for public assistance in identifying him, offering a $100,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.

Trump shared that the suspect’s father played a role in convincing him to surrender, saying, “The father convinced the son, ‘This is it.’ I am always subject to be corrected, but I’m just giving you based on what I am hearing.”

Initial reports from Utah Valley University suggested a suspect had been apprehended, but they turned out not to be the shooter. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Director Kash Patel later indicated that a second “subject” had been caught, but they were also released.

Authorities have reportedly recovered what they believe is the weapon used in the attack, a high-powered bolt-action rifle, found in a nearby wooded area. Kirk had been addressing a crowd of college students when he was struck by a single shot to the neck. Trump has pledged to award him the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

NASA Rover Finds Possible Sign of Life on Mars.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: Scientists studying Mars have identified minerals in rock formations that could indicate microbial life, although non-biological explanations are also possible.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: NASA’s Perseverance rover team, led by project scientist Katie Stack Morgan, and researchers at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory.

📍WHEN & WHERE: Data collected since February 2021 at Jezero Crater on Mars, with possible signs of organic life discovered last year, and findings published recently in a peer-reviewed study.

💬KEY QUOTE: “Astrobiological claims, particularly those related to the potential discovery of past extraterrestrial life, require extraordinary evidence.” – Katie Stack Morgan

🎯IMPACT: The findings suggest Mars may have been habitable later in its history than previously thought, and older rocks might hold harder-to-detect signs of life.

IN FULL

The combination of minerals found in rocks on Mars could be a potential indicator of microbial life. These minerals appear to have formed through electron-transfer reactions between sediment and organic matter, a process that microbes could use to produce energy for growth. However, the minerals can also form through non-biological processes, such as high temperatures, acidic conditions, or organic compound binding.

The discovery is particularly notable because it involves some of the youngest sedimentary rocks studied during the mission. This challenges earlier assumptions that evidence of ancient life would only be found in older formations. It also suggests that Mars may have been habitable for a longer period or later in its history than previously believed.

“Astrobiological claims, particularly those related to the potential discovery of past extraterrestrial life, require extraordinary evidence,” said Katie Stack Morgan, Perseverance’s project scientist at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s (NASA) Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL). She emphasized the importance of peer-reviewed publication to validate findings.

The scientific community utilizes tools like the CoLD scale and Standards of Evidence to evaluate potential signs of life. These frameworks help determine the level of confidence in data suggesting extraterrestrial life, improving the rigor of such claims.

Since landing at Jezero Crater in February 2021, the Perseverance rover has collected 27 rock cores. The rover is equipped with advanced instruments, including a weather station and swatches of spacesuit material for future human mission studies. NASA JPL, managed by Caltech, oversees the rover’s operations as part of NASA’s Mars Exploration Program.

Over 140,000 Americans Have Applied to Work for ICE Since July.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has seen a surge of interest in its recruitment efforts, with 141,000 applications and 18,000 tentative job offers since late July.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kristi Noem, President Donald J. Trump, ICE, and applicants from across the country, including retired law enforcement officers.

📍WHEN & WHERE: Recruitment efforts began in late July, with operations conducted in cities like Los Angeles, Chicago, and Washington, D.C.

💬KEY QUOTE: “Americans are answering their country’s call to serve and help remove murderers, pedophiles, rapists, terrorists, and gang members from our country.” – Kristi Noem

🎯IMPACT: The recruitment push bolsters ICE’s manpower for mass deportations.

IN FULL

The Trump administration’s recruitment drive to bolster the number of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers is making significant headway, with 141,000 applications and 18,000 tentative job offers since the campaign began in late July. The Trump administration initiated the effort to expand ICE’s operational capacity, offering incentives such as $50,000 sign-on bonuses, student loan forgiveness, and enhanced retirement benefits.

“ICE has received more than 141,000 applications from patriotic Americans who want to defend the homeland by removing the worst of the worst criminal illegal aliens from the U.S. We have already given more than 18,000 tentative job offers,” Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kristi Noem stated, adding: “Americans are answering their country’s call to serve and help remove murderers, pedophiles, rapists, terrorists, and gang members from our country.”

ICE agents have undertaken a number of large-scale immigration enforcement actions in major cities like Los Angeles, California, Chicago, Illinois, and Washington, D.C., targeting foreigners in the country illegally who have criminal charges or convictions. New detention centers, such as “Alligator Alcatraz” in Florida, have been established to hold illegals before deportation.

Notably, the “One Big Beautiful Bill Act,” signed by President Donald J. Trump in July, funds 10,000 new ICE positions and eliminates the age cap for applicants—aimed at encouraging retired law enforcement officers to consider joining the agency.

The National Pulse reported on Monday that ICE is launching a major immigration enforcement operation in Chicago—dubbed the ‘Midway Blitz’—which is utilizing a U.S. Navy facility on Lake Michigan just north of the Democrat-controlled city. “This ICE operation will target the criminal illegal aliens who flocked to Chicago and Illinois because they knew Governor Pritzker and his sanctuary policies would protect them and allow them to roam free on American streets,” DHS stated on X (formerly Twitter).

DHS has also encouraged self-deportation through the retooled CBP Home app.

9/11 Families Hail Court Ruling Likely Allowing Lawsuit Against Saudi Arabia to Proceed.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: A federal judge ruled that a lawsuit alleging Saudi Arabia’s involvement in the 9/11 attacks can proceed, with evidence suggesting Saudi officials supported the hijackers.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Families of 9/11 victims, Judge George Daniels, and Saudi government officials allegedly connected to the attacks.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The ruling was issued two weeks ago by the Southern District of New York, with a press conference held in New York City on Wednesday.

💬KEY QUOTE: “There were at least 13 Saudi government officials connected to the Ministry of Islamic Affairs… funneling support… to the hijackers’ handlers, right down to the hijackers themselves.” – Plaintiff Brett Eagleson

🎯IMPACT: The case is likely headed for trial, potentially exposing Saudi Arabia’s alleged role in the 9/11 attacks.

IN FULL

A group of family members of 9/11 victims is celebrating a federal court ruling that allows their lawsuit, aimed at holding Saudi Arabia accountable for its alleged role in the 2001 terrorist attacks, to proceed. Senior U.S. District Court Judge George Daniels found it is reasonable to infer, as claimed in the lawsuit, that two individuals named in the lawsuit were sent by elements of the Saudi government to the United States in an effort to provide support to the al-Qaeda terrorists plotting the attack.

“Some of the disputed facts cannot be resolved at this stage of the litigation, because weighing the evidence or assessing witnesses’ credibility will need to take place at trial,” Judge Daniels wrote in his 45-page ruling. The federal judge continued: “Nonetheless, the entire body of undisputed facts, and the Court’s preliminary assessment of certain disputed facts, are adequate for the Court to conclude that the exercise of subject matter jurisdiction is appropriate here.”

One of the lead plaintiffs, Brett Eagleson—the son of 9/11 victim Jon Eagleson—called the ruling a “historic, landmark decision” that is based on “indefensible evidence” that the Saudi government played a role in the attack.

“There were at least 13 Saudi government officials connected to the Ministry of Islamic Affairs. They were working and operating in and out of the Saudi consulates and the Saudi embassies,” Eagleson said, continuing: “They were funneling support from the Ministry of Islamic Affairs in Washington, D.C., to their embassies in San Diego, to the hijackers’ handlers, right down to the hijackers themselves.”

“It’s been 24 years of pain and anguish and fighting for our families. What happened to this community, what happened to America that day, was horrific. However, what’s happening currently and what’s been happening for the past 24 years has been an abomination,” he added.

The ruling likely clears the way for the lawsuit to proceed to trial. Saudi Arabia has persistently denied claims of its involvement in 9/11.

Brazil’s Ex-President Bolsonaro Convicted of Coup Conspiracy.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: Former Brazilian President and Donald J. Trump ally Jair Bolsonaro was convicted of supposedly plotting a coup to remain in power after losing the 2022 election.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Jair Bolsonaro, Brazil’s Supreme Court, and prosecutors.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The conviction was handed down on September 11, 2025, in Brazil’s Supreme Court.

💬KEY QUOTE: “When coherence and a sense of justice prevail over vengeance and lies, there is no room for cruel persecution or biased judgments,” said Bolsonaro’s wife Michelle.

🎯IMPACT: Bolsonaro, 70, faces a potential sentence of up to 40 years in prison.

IN FULL

Former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro has been convicted by a majority of Brazil’s controversial Supreme Court for attempting to orchestrate a coup to stay in power after losing the 2022 presidential election. The decision marks the first time in the country’s history that a former president has been found guilty of crimes against democracy.

Bolsonaro, a populist ally of President Donald J. Trump who served from 2019 to 2023, was convicted on five criminal counts, including plotting to overthrow democratic institutions, being part of an armed criminal group, and encouraging political violence. He was also accused of posing a threat to national heritage and state assets. Three justices voted to convict, while one, Luiz Fux, voted for acquittal. The dissent opens the door for potential appeals or legal challenges. Bolsonaro, 70, now faces a maximum prison sentence of 40 years.

“This criminal case is almost a meeting between Brazil and its past, its present, and its future,” Justice Carmen Lucia said in her remarks before voting to convict. She added that Bolsonaro had acted “with the purpose of eroding democracy and institutions.”

Prosecutors alleged that Bolsonaro and his allies planned to reject the results of the 2022 election, in which he officially lost to far-left Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, and were preparing to use military force to stay in power. The investigation has also supposedly uncovered plots to target Supreme Court justices and attempts to incite violent unrest in the capital. Bolsonaro has denied any wrongdoing.

Bolsonaro’s wife, Michelle, responded to the court in a statement posted on social media, saying, “When coherence and a sense of justice prevail over vengeance and lies, there is no room for cruel persecution or biased judgments.”

The ruling is the latest in a series of legal setbacks for the populist leader. In 2023, Bolsonaro was barred from holding public office until 2030 after the country’s electoral court ruled that he had abused his power and cast unfounded doubts on Brazil’s machine-based voting system. The court found that his public statements questioning the integrity of electronic voting machines and attempting to return to paper ballots had undermined the democratic process.

In July 2025, Bolsonaro was detained amid concerns he might try to flee to the United States to seek political asylum. President Donald J. Trump has been lobbying on his behalf, threatening heavy sanctions and tariffs on Brazil for what he sees as a politically motivated witch-hunt.

WATCH: Dem Rep. Ilhan Omar and Mehdi Hasan Laugh and Trash Charlie Kirk After Assassination.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: Video has emerged of Congresswoman Ilhan Omar (D-MN) and former MSNBC host Mehdi Hasan making light of the assassination of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk as he debated students at Utah Valley University on Wednesday.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Rep. Omar, Mehdi Hasan, and the late Charlie Kirk.

📍WHEN & WHERE: Kirk was assassinated on Wednesday, and Omar’s interview surfaced on social media on Thursday, September 11, 2025.

💬KEY QUOTE: “What I do know for sure is that, you know, Charlie was someone who once said, you know, guns save lives after a school shooting.” — Rep. Ilhan Omar.

🎯IMPACT: While some Democrat officials have offered condemnations of the assassination, others, like Rep. Omar, have made a point of attacking Kirk and conservatives generally for their views.

IN FULL

Video has emerged of Congresswoman Ilhan Omar (D-MN) and former MSNBC host Mehdi Hasan—who was fired from the far-left network for amplifying anti-Israel content in the wake of the October 7, 2023, terrorist attacks—making light of the assassination of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk while he spoke at Utah Valley University on Wednesday. In the interview clip, Omar—a naturalized U.S. citizen from Somalia who is accused of having committed visa fraud by engaging in a sham marriage with her brother—smears Kirk, stating that those who claim the America First political figure just wanted to have civil debates are historical revisionists.

“What I do know for sure is that, you know, Charlie was someone who once said, you know, guns save lives after a school shooting,” Rep. Omar, an influential figure among Democrat progressives in Congress, told Hasan. “Charlie was someone who was willing to debate and downplay the death of George Floyd in [sic] the hands of Minneapolis Police,” prompting Hasan to interject: “I think he called him a scumbag.”

“Right, have no regard, downplayed slavery, and what black people have gone through in this country by saying Juneteenth should never exist,” Omar rambled on, adding: “And I think, you know, there are a lot of people who are out there talking about him just wanting to have a civil debate.”

“It’s bullshit, a complete rewriting of history,” Hasan responded, laughing along with Omar, who continued: “Yeah, there is nothing more effed up, you know, like, than to completely pretend that his words and actions have not been recorded and in existence for the last decade or so.”

Notably, Hasan, an Indian-heritage British immigrant, has been recorded in the past making many controversial statements, for instance by calling non-Muslims “cattle” who “live their lives as animals.”
