Documents secured by the Center for Medical Progress (CMP) through a public records request suggest the University of California–San Diego (UCSD) has been purchasing the body parts of aborted babies from Planned Parenthood.
The Biological Transfer Agreement uncovered by CMP included “fetal and placental tissue” described as “proprietary materials” of Planned Parenthood San Diego.
“This new evidence shows Planned Parenthood sells late-term aborted baby body parts in violation of federal law, for far more money than has ever been discussed before,” alleged David Daleiden, who leads the Center for Medical Progress.
“Planned Parenthood’s national headquarters knew about and approved these sales of aborted babies for valuable consideration as part of government-funded research grants,” he added.
Daleiden claims that, despite federal laws banning the sale of aborted human remains for profit, the University of California system used it in research leading to patents and made over $127 million in revenue from patent inventions during the 2021-22 academic year.
CMP is calling for a broader federal investigation into an alleged aborted baby organ market operating between clinics and research facilities.
