Judge Merchan’s Daughter Worked With Anti-Trump, Democrat-Aligned Lawfare Group.

Authentic Campaigns, a Democrat-aligned digital media and fundraising firm where Judge Juan Merchan‘s daughter Loren serves as a partner, counts the Brennan Center for Justice among its clients. The Brennan Center is a group tied to the efforts to remove former President Donald Trump from the 2024 election ballot in Colorado. The Democrat-aligned lawfare group’s connection to Loren Merchan presumably bolsters Trump’s attorneys’ accusations that the hush money judge, through his family, is conflicted and should recuse himself from the ongoing trial.

Earlier this year, the Brennan Center for Justice filed an amicus brief before the United States Supreme Court, asking it to rule against former President Trump’s appeal of a Colorado State Supreme Court decision that would have removed him from the state’s presidential ballot. On March 4, 2024, The National Pulse reported that the U.S. Supreme Court unanimously sided with Trump and threw out the state court decision.

Authentic Campaigns describes their work for the Brennan Center as being focused on converting those who read the group’s legal work and writing into donors. The company’s website reads: “Authentic embarked on a meticulously crafted journey to not only identify and acquire new subscribers but also to galvanize them into becoming active, contributing donors to the Brennan Center’s mission.”

Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) and New York’s Attorney General Letitia James (D) — who are integrally involved in the Biden government’s lawfare campaign against former President Trump — are tied to Authentic Campaigns. Additionally, the Brennan Center has a long history of using lawsuits to hamper Republican policy efforts, including filing at least 14 lawsuits against then-President Trump and his government over immigration and census policy changes.

NPR Editor Makes Stunning Admission Over Left-Wing Bias.

A senior editor at National Public Radio (NPR) says the outlet’s response to the election of then-President Donald Trump and the death of George Floyd — and subsequent riots — transformed the news organization for the worse. Uri Berliner, a senior business editor, admits NPR has always been liberal, but contends it used to foster an “open-minded, curious culture.” In contrast, its reaction to Trump and the post-Floyd panic regarding “systemic racism” caused its tone to become “knee-jerk, activist, [and] scolding.”

HOOKED ON SCHIFF.

Berliner claims NPR initially began its descent into extreme ideological bias after becoming one of the primary outlets pushing Rep. Adam Schiff‘s (D-CA) conspiracy theory that the 2016 Trump campaign colluded with the Russian government to rig the U.S. presidential election. “By my count, NPR hosts interviewed Schiff 25 times about Trump and Russia. During many of those conversations, Schiff alluded to purported evidence of collusion,” Berliner writes, adding: “The Schiff talking points became the drumbeat of NPR news reports.”

Despite investing a lot of time in coverage of Rep. Schiff’s claims, the outlet gave little attention to the fact that multiple investigations exonerated Trump of the California Democrat’s charges. “But when the Mueller report found no credible evidence of collusion, NPR’s coverage was notably sparse. Russiagate quietly faded from our programming,” the business editor says.

THE LAPTOP FROM HELL.

In another instance of editorial malpractice, Berliner details how NPR failed to cover the Hunter Biden laptop story. At the time, the news organization stated, “We don’t want to waste our time on stories that are not really stories.” Further, NPR said stories covering the laptop were “pure distractions.” Berliner, however, admits that “Its contents revealed [Hunter Biden’s] connection to the corrupt world of multimillion-dollar influence peddling and its possible implications for his father.”

Berliner described an editorial meeting as follows: “I listened as one of NPR’s best and most fair-minded journalists said it was good we weren’t following the laptop story because it could help Trump.”

COVID-19 PROPAGANDISTS.

Taking on NPR’s coverage of the COVID-19 pandemic, Berliner says its editorial staff quickly decided that the ‘natural origin’ theory was correct and that the ‘lab leak’ theory was either “racist or a right-wing conspiracy theory.” According to Berliner, the internal stance on COVID-19 was partly prompted by the outlet implicitly trusting the word of Anthony Fauci and former NIH head Francis Collins.

‘ENDING SYSTEMIC RACISM.’

The business editor says former CEO John Lansing enabled the internal cultural changes and editorial bias. Following the death of George Floyd, Berliner recounts how Lansing, rather than challenging staff to explore whether systemic racism was prevalent in America, tasked the news organization with “identifying and ending systemic racism.” Following Lansing’s “systemic racism” challenge, the organization was overtaken by racial affinity groups who pushed for tailored, niche coverage — increasingly alienated listeners and readers alike.

While Berliner insists that he believes NPR can be saved from itself, he does lament that “[w]ith declining ratings, sorry levels of trust, and an audience that has become less diverse over time, the trajectory for NPR is not promising.”

Adam Schiff Says Standing Up To Trump Justified Russia Hoax Lies.

Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) tried to justify lying to over 300 million Americans regarding his false allegations that former President Donald Trump colluded with the Russian government to influence the 2016 presidential election. Steve Garvey – a Dodgers baseball legend and Republican Senate candidate — attacked Schiff during Monday night’s California Senate debate for his censure for perpetuating the Russia hoax. The California Democrat said he was standing up to a “corrupt president.”

“I think you’ve been censured for lying,” Garvey said, leveling the accusation at the California Democrat Congressman. “I was censured for standing up to a corrupt president,” Schiff responded.

The exchange gave the impression Schiff believed it reasonable to lie to the American people simply because he disliked Trump.

In June of 2023, the U.S. House of Representatives censured Rep. Schiff over his alleged “falsehoods, misrepresentations, and abuses of sensitive information” during the 2016 Russian collusion investigation. House Republicans accuse Schiff of misrepresenting facts and claiming to have evidence that never existed.

Schiff has become the target of ridicule by former President Trump on the 2024 campaign trail. At a recent rally, the former President made light of Schiff’s odd physical stature — calling him “Pencil Neck.” Trump continued, declaring Schiff “a structural marvel,” noting the California Democrat’s tiny neck and “his head is like a watermelon.”

“And how that neck can hold up that big, oversized, ugly head is hard to believe,” Trump observed with his supporters bursting out in laughter.

Schiff Secured Funds for Defense Giants While They Funded His Campaigns.

Adam Schiff, a U.S. Senate hopeful and powerful Democrat member of the House of Representatives, directed millions in taxpayer dollars to major defense firms who backed his Congressional campaigns. The discovery of Schiff’s questionable use of earmarks came after the Congressman attacked his Senate primary opponent Katie Porter (D-CA) for opposing pork-barrel spending, while bragging he had secured critical funding for drug recovery and homeless programs through earmark spending.

Members of Congress often use earmarks to bring taxpayer dollars back to their district and fund local projects to improve communities. Some, however, abuse the process and end up using taxpayer dollars as a kick-back to companies who contribute to their election campaigns.

In 2010 the Republican majority in control the House of Representatives enacted sweeping reforms, including to the earmark process. Several earmarks requested by Schiff prior to 2010 would now be barred under the rules today.

Lobbying firm the PMA Group, for example, represented many of the defense firms Schiff secured funds for, while they contributed thousands to his Congressional campaigns. Owner Paul Magliocchetti was sentenced to 27 months in prison in 2011 for his role in one of the largest schemes to avoid campaign contribution limits in U.S. history.

Schiff was one of the central figures in the Russiagate hoax, and pushed for former President Trump’s removal from office.

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) filed a motion to fine Schiff $16 million (half of the cost of the faux investigation launched by Democrats) and expel him from Congress. Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) – a leading Ron DeSantis surrogate – opposed Rep. Luna’s move against Schiff, the expulsion motion ultimately failing.

CENSURED.

Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) has been censured by the House of Representatives for his role peddling the Russia hoax against President Donald J. Trump. Schiff also misrepresented the telephone call between Trump and Ukrainian President Zelensky which led to the first impeachment against the 45th President.

The news comes a week after a measure to fine Schiff $16M failed after the protests of Democrats and DeSantis-supporting Republicans such as Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY).

The move to censure Schiff was championed by Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL).

The Full List of RINOs Who Helped Adam Schiff Avoid Fine and Censure.

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) had a plan to censure Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) for his role in perpetuating the Russia hoax, which ended up costing U.S. taxpayers tens of millions of dollars, and almost irreparable damage to the country’s political system.

The move was supported by a large swathe of America First Republicans, though DeSantis supporters like Rep. Thomas Massie came out against it, on spurious terms.

Now, the full list of so-called Republicans who sided with Democrats and Adam Schiff can be revealed, perhaps demonstrating which so-called “conservatives” need primary challengers at their next election.

The list of Republicans in Name Only:

  1. Kelly Armstrong (R-ND)
  2. Lori Chavez-DeRemer (R, OR-5)
  3. Juan Ciscomani (R, AZ-6)
  4. Tom Cole (R, OK-4)
  5. Warren Davidson (R, OH-8)
  6. Brian Fitzpatrick (R, PA-1)
  7. Kay Granger (R, TX-12)
  8. Garrett Graves (R, LA-6)
  9. Thomas Kean (R, NJ-7)
  10. Kevin Kiley (R, CA-3)
  11. Young Kim (R, CA-40)
  12. Mike Lawler (R, NY-17)
  13. Thomas Massie (R, KY-4)
  14. Tom McClintock (R, CA-5)
  15. Marc Molinaro (R, NY-19)
  16. Jay Obernolte (R, CA-23)
  17. Mike Simpson (R, ID-2)
  18. Michael Turner (R, OH-10)
  19. David Valadao (R, CA-22)
  20. Steve Womack (R, AR-3)

California Republicans are disproportionately represented in the list, raising questions as to whether their proximity to Schiff in his district (CA-30) affected their votes.

Rep. Luna said after the vote: “20 Republicans voted against the fine, censure, and investigation of Schiff. I don’t think they read the bill in entirety. Next week, we will be filing a motion to censure and investigate Schiff. We are removing fine as that seems to be what made these Republicans uneasy.”

DeSantis Backer Rep. Massie Opposes Move to Hold Adam Schiff Accountable for Russiagate Lies.

Congressman Thomas Massie (R-KY) – one of Governor Ron DeSantis’s most prominent supporters and lay advisers – will vote against efforts to hold Democrat Rep. Adam Schiff accountable for peddling Russia-gate conspiracies which led to countless conflicts in U.S. politics, and millions spent by authorities “investigating” the matter.

Massie’s Congressional colleague Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) filed a motion to “censure, condemn, and fine” Rep. Schiff (D-CA) for pushing Russia-gate even after the Durham Report concluded the federal investigation into alleged Trump-Russia links had been baseless and biased.

Schiff is renowned for telling outright lies in an effort to destabilize a sitting President of the United States, stymieing the popular will of the American public for his ideological end goals. For that, Rep. Luna wants to fine Schiff up to $16 million – “half the cost of Russia investigation” – for his “egregious abuse of trust”. Massie has indicated he will not support her.

“Adam Schiff acted unethically but if a resolution to fine him $16 million comes to the floor I will vote… against it,” Massie wrote on social media.

“The Constitution says the House [of Representatives] may make its own rules but we can’t violate other (later) provisions of the Constitution,” he added, insisting that “[a] $16 million fine is a violation of the 27th and 8th amendments.”

Massie has failed to outline how fining Schiff – a power indeed granted to the Congress – would violate the 27th Amendment, which concerns the salary of elected members, or the 8th Amendment, which is about fines for criminal activity, not political malfeasance. Rep. Massie’s office can be reached here.

Rep. Luna Files $16M Fine & Censure Motion Against Adam Schiff.

Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) has filed a motion to censure, condemn, and even fine her colleague Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) for his role in peddling the debunked Russia collusion hoax.

Tweeting on Tuesday afternoon, Rep. Luna said: “I just filed a privileged resolution, H. Res. 437, to censure, condemn, & fine Rep. Adam Schiff $16 million (1/2 the cost of Russia investigation) for his egregious abuse of trust. I, with my GOP colleagues, look forward to an imminent vote to hold this feckless man accountable.”

The text of the motion (in full, below) establishes that Rep. Schiff abused his position to lend credence to the Steele dossier, falsely prompted a FISA warrant application, encouraged surveillance of Americans, and cost the taxpayer in excess of $32 million on the investigations that followed.

The Congressional Research Services notes that fining a member has precedent in the House of Representatives, with Deschler’s Precedents stating that under the constitutional authority of the House at Article I, Section 5, clause 2: “A fine may be levied by the House against a Member pursuant to its constitutional authority to punish its Members.”

It goes on to establish that the ability has been backed by the Supreme Court (Kilbourn v. Thompson) and precedents “appear to involve the repayment or restitution of funds misused or wrongfully received, as opposed to fines merely or strictly for ‘punishment’.”

Ethics Committee rules state that the House “sets forth general guidelines and does not limit the authority of the Committee to recommend other sanctions.”
