Barack Obama confessed to having sex with men “daily,” but only “in the imagination,” according to a bizarre letter sent to a lover in 1982. The letter – released by biographer David Garrow — confirms the 44th President of the United States regularly fantasized about homosexuality and even dabbled with transgenderism. It reads:
“In regard to homosexuality, I must say that I believe this is an attempt to remove oneself from the present, a refusal perhaps to perpetuate the endless farce of earthly life. You see, I make love to men daily, but in the imagination.”

Obama goes on to say that his “mind is androgynous to a great extent and I hope to make it more so until I can think in terms of people, not women as opposed to men.”
He adds, however, that “in returning to the body, I see that I have been made a man, and physically in life, I choose to accept that contingency” – suggesting he may have decided he was a “non-binary” transperson with they/them pronouns had he been born in more recent times.
Obama’s Africa-born brother Malik said earlier this month that the former president is “definitely gay”.
