Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) has announced a formal impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden.

Just outside the Speaker’s office, McCarthy told the press that in the course of multiple House committee investigations, “We found that President did lie to the American people.”

The Speaker added, “Biden used his official office to coordinate with Hunter Biden’s business partners about Hunter’s role at Burisma, a Ukrainian energy company.” House Oversight Chairman James Comer (R-KY) will lead the impeachment inquiry, assisted by Reps. Jim Jordan (R-OH) and Jason Smith (R-MO).
